He is a decent professor. What he struggles with the most is teaching the material in a way that helps students remember the information for the tests. very nice guy really, he's very chill and lenient. i had him this semester for online course and it was the easiest stuff ever. he barely gives any homework and his quizzes are kinda easy, the only really heavy "work" you do is this big scientific paper. he could better prepare us for the finals bc it was kinda tricky but he's cool overall.

All labs are on the site and there is one per week. The class is graded on labs, one midterm, and one final. Everything is relatively easy if you put in the work and Rob responds pretty quick. Pretty chill guy and this is a chill class. Do the labs and do well on the test though, since it is only graded on 3 things

be warned. He forces us to take notes and watch more lectures outside of class. Crams in a bunch of materials. Exams are nothing like what he goes over. Exams are on Sundays, he makes it so long & difficult that it takes the whole day to do it. He purposely do this on Sundays so he can crams notes during scheduled lecture time.

Dr. Rob is my favorite. Besides his humor, his class is fairly easy. In his asynchronous class he have us lectures and a couple assignments to do each week and always a quiz that is 100% based off his lectures. There is one big paper, but he gives you plenty of time to complete it.

Really thought I was going to struggle in this class since its my very first semester but boy was I wrong. I took this course online so work isn't difficult as difficult as I was scared but you just have to watch the video lectures and do the homework. He even made a discord for us and would always crack jokes.

This professor is one of a kind. He's funny but also know his stuff. Class itself is super easy. This was an asynchronous class, but all I had to do was take notes from prerecorded Zoom Lectures, as well do the homework, quizzes, and particpation check-ins, which was very easy. Definitely taking class again for CHEM 311 next semester.

There isn't tons I can say about Byrne himself, since the class was asynchronous and we never interacted directly. The lecture videos are long, but the tests and homework are easy enough. There was one paper with a weird topic that was totally unrelated to the class, but it was easy too. The best part is seeing his interactions in the class Discord

Dr, Byrne is an awesome professor. I was lucky to have him for both CHEM 100 last semester, and 311 this semester. 311 is more difficult than 100 as you do have to study more on you own. Class is lecture heavy, and while he isn't as funny as 100, he did give more insightful application of this class in real life.

Really solid teacher. Lectures are very straightforward. Quiz after every module but they are straightforward. 2 non cumulative tests. 1 paper (GE req, was actually pretty engaging - and he grades it to max your grade). Very easily accessible and fast responder. Helpful guy. As someone who hates chem, I really didn't mind his class. Its manageable

As someone who is a non-stem major and took this class for a GE, it was okay. One paper, but it is in the first half of the semester so it doesn't clash with other classes. Test material is from the quizzes which are all from the homework. Information is accessible with good explanations. If you hate asynchronous, this class isn't for you.

Easy class, to be honest though I think that he doesn't actually grade the assignments I submitted. I was reaching the deadline for one assignment and literally submitted a blank page and somehow I got full credit. Also don't buy the code to access the homework online, you can get it for free by emailing him.
