He is a great teacher and guy! The class in super interesting and the work load is light. I completely disagree with every political statement he makes but still can't help but love him as a professor.
great professor. makes any subject INTERESTING! Required to participate in class. TA does grading and grades HARSHLY. professor is funny and will keep you wanting to learn more. however, this class is not easy. writing writing writing.
easy and interesting class, definitely one of my favorite classes and professors at ucsd. the TA does grade harshly but its not very writing intensive (5 one page papers)
great professor, really respects his students and makes class very interesting. sometimes he gets kinda intense on debates, but overall i would definitely recommend him
If I could describe a perfect day, it would be called a Robert Campbell day. In the first lecture, he made it clear his goal is to make this the best class in UCSD, and he has gone beyond what I had expected. He is one of the few remaining conservative professors, but he challenges both sides of the arguments, which helps our intellect grow.
He is really awesome :D
He is honestly the best professor I've had at UCSD. He keeps the class interesting and upbeat. He is really a great teacher that makes every class fun. No matter how tired, I was always happy to go to his class.
He is awesome as a teacher and the class is super interesting! it is definitely a GE class to take
The BEST professor at UCSD. He has a daughter who is our age and it feels like he treats us as if we were his own children. He cares so much about how well we do and wants us to succeed beyond the class and in life in general. If you have the opportunity to take this class, I URGE you to do it because he is the best of the best.
One of the best professors at UCSD, if you can take his class, do it
Professor Campbell is the most amazing professor I've had so far in my college career. He genuinely cares about his students and class is always so interesting! I definitely recommend him!!!
Hands down best professor at UCSD!! Cares a lot about his student, super flexible, funny and extremely smart and interesting! He brags a little too much about himself but if you have the opportunity to take this class you definitely should. I've learned in his class more useful stuff than in any other class.
He is an incredible professor. He is very admired by all of his students and he provides amazing insight into the business world from a background of immense experience in multiple business fields. Seriously the best professor at UCSD and it is a privilege to take his class!
Campbell is the best professor at Rady, possibly in all of UCSD. His lectures are funny, he really delves into the subject and gets you thinking about ethics, and his last lecture is by far the best and honestly changed my life. Participation is essential. Grade depends mainly on TA though. All assignments and tests are straightforward.
There is no way 350 characters can describe just how amazing this professor is. This guy wants you to learn and when he says he cares about you, he actually means it. I emailed in sick once (even though I wasn't), and he then emails me two days later asking if I'm feeling better. What? Even if you don't need to take his class, take.
He never tries to trick his students and you can tell he truly cares for his students. His life advice motivates me :)
His lectures are captivating, engaging, and thought-provoking. He really cares about his students, seems kinda like a father figure. He has a really unique way of approaching a business ethics class and will teach things that are relevant to the world we live in. Papersexams are straightforward, do your case study research prior to class.
By far the best professor I have taken at UCSD. He is so inspirational and truly cares for his students. On our last day of class he started tearing up as he told us how proud he was of us and how much he expects of us as young people to go out and be ethical members of society. It was an absolute honor and pleasure being in his class.
The one of a kind professor, who is truly caring and educating at the same time. Great lecturer. Never wanted to miss any of his classes and never did. Teaches you not only business ethics but life lessons as well. Never took that many lessons from my own father. :)
Prof Campbell is the best professor I've ever had at UCSD. In the first lecture, he straight up told us he wanted it to be the best class we've ever taken, and he succeeded. He was on powerful pain meds after a knee surgery but he still taught because he cares so deeply for his students. Seriously, if you get the chance, take his classes.
truly one of the greatest professors I've had while attending this school. Really engaging material and engages students to participate. I remember in the last lecture, he got emotional since it was his last lecture for the quarter and cried his eyes out. Every student in the lecture hall stood up and clapped. Must take class.
He's an absolutely amazing professor and I'm glad to have taken his class freshman year. His lectures are interesting and he draws a lot from his own experiences and actual real world events. He encourages discussion. Tests are open book and not too hard.
best professor ever! he is so inspirational. All other reviews about him are on point so just read those and you'll have an idea of how he is. TAKE HIM!!
He is the best professor I have ever had. He cares about his students and his lessons will also help you in life. As long as you attend lecture it is and easy class.
He is literally the BEST professor I have ever taken. What he taught me can inspire me for a lifelong time. He is interesting, humorous and thoughful. He can grab your attention for solid 1 hour and 20 minutes
By far, one of the best Professors at UCSD. Really humble and gives useful advice about businesses and interviewing tips. 1 midterm, 1 paper (7-10 pages), and a final exam which were not that hard. Just attend class and read the textbook!
Prof Campbell is a very good lecturer, his lectures are usually very interesting, interactive, and hold your attention easily. He is also very wise, and often has good advice for his students. Midterm was open notes, attendance is not mandatory but tests draw heavily from lecture. Readings were interesting but he reviews it in class if you skip it.
Amazing professor. Lectures hold your attention as he is a fantastic story teller. He really cares for his students and even dedicates a class to give us advice for our careers and lives. He was almost in tears at the end of the last class. He truly cares for the students in both how they do in his class and preparing them for the real world.
Campbell is my favorite professor that I have graced upon so far. His lectures are always interesting. He truly cares about his students, and he shows that through his passion during lectures. I LOVE HIM! 10/10 recommend. If you don't take a class from him during your time at UCSD, that's a fat L.
Overall a great guy - very personable, loves his students and knows the material. Open note exams!
I didn't really pay attention in class that much. It definitely very easy and doable. If I tried or cared a little bit more I would have gotten an A. Studied for the final thirty mins before I had to take it, other classes were more important. Didn't read the book. Downloaded PDF use it on the final, sit in the back tho cause it considered cheating
An absolutely wonderful professor. He clearly cares about students and is an amazing lecturer. Never bored in class. Really easy to get an A. Just go to class and take notes. Tests are really easy and open notes so I just studied for about 30 minutes the night before the midterm and final. As long as you participate a little you should be fine.
Best professor at ucsd, period.
Hands down the best professor at UCSD. Really cares about his students and wants them all to succeed. Lectures are amazing and you never want to miss class.
Teaches applicable life lessons. Very enthusiastic and knowledgable professor! Love this guy!
Overall, he's pretty bool .
Life lesson teaching. He is not the most knowledgeable but absolutely the best professor in UCSD.
Best professor in UCSD, very passionate with his teachings and really care for his students.
Inspirational. Amazing. Take him. You won't be disappointed.
Sit at the front row!!! Really good lectures! Participation matters. Papers and exams are fair but you do have to know your stuff bc he does not curve the class. Textbook is seriously the most interesting one I have ever read! Take his class and enjoy!
You will regret not taking this class. He is funny, nice, passionate and genuinely cares about all of his students. He tells great stories and has more professional experience than anyone I have ever met. This class not only teaches you about life and business but how to be a good and successful person. I hope to be like Prof Campbell as an adult!
He is honestly one of the best professors on campus. His lectures teach the REAL WORLD OF BUSINESS and therefore they are very industry relevant. Very useful
A Professor who could really challenge your views. Beware that he usually have strong opinions on things and he is not afraid to express that. He is persuasive, so students may be easily influenced by his opinion (even if it may not be correct)
Professor Campbell is one of those professors that keep you engage for a whole hour. His lectures arent so textbook-based so its really applicable towards ones self-cultivation. I love his professors notes that he lectures at the end of the quarter. Teaches you life hacks and the REAL world of business.
best professor at ucsd. he genuinely cares about each student and teaches things we will actaully use in the real world. I would definitely take him again
Very humorous professor. You could seriously learn a lot of STUFF from his inspirational lectures.
Loves to teach and is just awesome in general. Take if you have the chance!
Prof. Campbell is the sweetest old man ever!! He's respectable and really shaped my way of thinking. His classes are never boring and this class I think should be taken by every student trying to survive in the real world. The cases he uses and the textbook are interesting material that keeps your attention and are insightful.
Professor Campbell is by far the most engaging professor I've had at UCSD. At first his class seemed overwhelming with the two papers, but they really aren't that hard. He gives you a guideline on how to write your papers, all you have to do is clearly indicate which step is which and your response to each step. Participation is very VERY important
Great professor. this class was the best I have taken. Very useful. Highly recommended. Teaches you real life. I can't emphasize more, TAKE HIM!
Hands down the best professor I have ever had. Be kind to yourself and take at least one of his courses during your time here. The class is easy and its enjoyable. Professor Campbell is extremely experienced in business and will tell you everything you need to succeed in the field and beyond. He made me want to go to every single class. A real gem.
Best professor at UCSD! Really cares about teaching the necessary skills for his students to think for themselves. He's funny and easy to listen to. Take notes and read the book. His tests are open-note. There is work involved but if you treat this class right, it doesn't feel like work and it will actually be interesting. Take this class!
He is the BEST professor I've had at UCSD, and probably the BEST at UCSD. Every class is enjoyable, and he teaches you the stuff you'll truly need in order to be successful in the real world of business. I've learned a great deal from him not only for my career development, but also for my personal development. A truly amazing professor and mentor!
He is really the best professor in the entire universe. He cares so much about his students and dedicates his life in helping his students to succeed.
Such an inspiring and incredible professor. He really cares about his students and teaches you things you'll actually need in the real world. He's classes aren't designed to trick you, but to actuall teach you lessons that you can apply elsewhere. 10/10 professor, I hope to have the chance to take him again.
His lectures are amazing. This professor is by far one of the best I have encountered at UCSD. He cares deeply about his students. His lectures hold your attention from beginning to end. He is truly an inspiring professor who I wouldn't hesitate to take again in another course he offers.
He is the BEST professor in my life. He is a real gem. He really cares about his students and hope you to be success and at the same time has the sense of humor. You can tell from his class he really loves teaching and being in his class as his student is just a honor. I'll definitely miss his class a lot.
Professor Campbell has a great sense of humor ergo his lectures are always fun. The midterm and exams are open-notes so the exams are easy. There are two essays, which are graded very leniently. Overall an easy class. Side note: Although professors don't usually discuss their politics, he had a few pro-MAGA rants in class so be prepared for that.
This is only my second quarter, but I think Professor Campbell will be one of my favorites throughout my college journey. His lectures are very engaging. I do wish there were more opportunities to get participation points besides raising your hand to answer questions. His tests are open note too! I hope to take more classes from him in the future.
It's not enough place to say what did I learn from the class. BEST teacher ever. TAKE HIS CLAS! He cares about his students, and he really TEACHES the students. While I felt many other professors may see teaching as their job, professor Campbell teaches by his heart, and you can feel it. Glad to have him this quarter.
The best Professor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just amazing!!!!!!!!!
Most of the class is pretty common sense, but his lectures are pretty interesting since he relates a lot of it back to his personal life and experience working in the business world. There's also a book that's mandatory to read, but it's an easy read! Also, I highly recommend going to his last lecture - Professor's Notes, I almost cried.
Campbell is a very kind man and he clearly cares about his students. Additionally, his lectures are very inspirational and you will learn a lot from him. The material is also relevant to every day life, which makes it even more engaging. Class is mandatory, however, because in-class notes and very specific things are on the midterm and final.
He really cares about students. The lectures are interesting. He always told stories that inspired me somehow. He is great. For me, the midterm and final were a little bit tricky and difficult. Essays were not hard, but time was really limited in the midterm, and I did poor at the MC. But I am still planning to take his another class!
Really Passionate, Lectures are really engaging, material is current and very applicable outside class, genuinely cares about his students (I had a tough time emotionally during the quarter and he was really really kind about addressing it), seeks feedback, all around a great professor
Professor Campbell is very knowledgable and knows everything there is to business. Thank goodness for finally an open conservative professor!!! I loved his lectures and they were usually very interesting. He truly wants his students to learn about ethics and achieve in business... if you have a chance, take one of his classes!!
Super passionate and cares a lot about the wellbeing of his students. Course material was also super engaging
Blindly supports convoluted ethics, cleverly uneducated, and wrongly sabotages any idea that contradicts his own ignorance. Is this who you want shaping the force of change for of our future - the youth? He shouldn't be working at an established place of higher education like UCSD.
One of his assignments is to write about what contents of 1984 have come true in out real world, while at same time he believes Fox is one of the largest original news agencies, quite ironic. However, except that, he is a good professor, and also very easy.
Prof. deeply cares about all his students, makes it easy to get to know him and what he's about even thru virtual schooling. Can be a little heavy on tough love, but grading is clear, reasonable expectations, definitely wish in person didn't get cancelled at Rady
All you have to do is watch lectures and read the short book for the class but the man himself is a joke. Definitely can't go a class without saying that he's from Kansas. Didn't learn much about ethics but I did learn random facts about the titanic and some car company scandals so if you're into that, this is an easy class. I really hated it tbh
The tests drew very heavily from the lectures, so if you don't pay attention during the lectures, then you'll have a tough time on the tests. We had two papers, and the instructions for both were intentionally vague to promote question-asking; the TA's were very accessible for this. The books we read were somewhat time-consuming, but I liked them.
As a math major, this is the first non-math class that I truly enjoyed. Professor Campbell is such an inspirational lecturer who teaches from his heart. The class is easy if you pay attention to the gist of the lectures and complete both papers/exams which are straightforward. Overall, you must take this class with him, regardless of major at UCSD!
Prof Camp was controversial as he brought up a lot of politics for a business class, besides this, the class itself was fairly easy, just read the assigned readings, go to lectures, and ask questions.
he'd constantly questioned trump's loss.. an ETHICS professor
By far one of the best professors at UCSD. Lectures are engaging and materials are reasonable and are graded fairly. He is a very funny professor and those who gave a low rating are just mad at the fact that they can't accept any opinion outside of their liberal agenda. It is truly sad to see liberals so angered by a conservative professor.
Campbell is an excellent professor great jokes, good lectures, and course content that applies to your life as well as in a business. His exams involve a lot of memorization and *anything* he says is fair game for an exam question, but the exams are open notes and open book which alleviates this. Take good notes and read the book and it's easy.
Professor Campbell really cares about his students. Despite remote learning being hard on him, he tried his best to make it entertaining for his students. Tests are not difficult as long as you pay attention to class or read the book. You have to write 2 papers, but they are not harshly graded at all.
Papers were quite easy. Exams were a little difficult, had to focus on tiny details. Take good notes and you'll be okay. Does goes off on a lot of tangents and talks a lot about his personal life. Easy A.
Professor was informative and clearly passionate about the subject. He was a little political at times, but made it clear that those were his own beliefs and not part of the lessons. Exams and papers were very easy, and heavily application-based rather than memorization. The required reading is actually interesting, and I enjoyed it.
I dont know if the good ratings are from him, but he wasnt a great professor. I learned more about history of titanic and his political views than actual ethics. Attendance is mandatory & recordings cant be accessed unless youre sick and have a family emergency. Some students enjoyed him, I found his class to be a waste of time.
Professor "Coach" Campbell is a really smart guy and its honestly one of the only classes I've taken that I think I can actually apply to real life. He is a really interesting dude with some pretty cool stories from what he used to do for work. I enjoyed taking his class and would recommend it to anyone who needs to take a MGT class.
To be fair, this class is easy and he cares about his students. The essays are long, but doable and graded fairly. The professor himself though...yikes. He makes his political opinions VERY clear and goes on tangents talking about himself and all his real world experience. Take a shot everytime he mentions the 'real world of business.'
If you can be mature and leave your political views at the door, Campbell is one of the best professors on campus. He is very experienced in his field and gives great advice. MGT itself is very easy, just do the short readings that are actually interesting, go to lecture, and know how to write decent essay for an easy A.
He is very engaging and encourages participation. The course analyzes unethical business cases some are interesting like the Titanic, but some are pretty boring like car cases. Attendance isn't mandatory but lectures aren't recorded and the tests ask a lot of things that are mentioned in lecture. 2 paper 1 midterm 1 final. You have to read 2 books.
Professor Campbell was a very fun professor. It was like sitting in a debate class. Loved his teaching style. Get ready to participate, because if you don't it will be hard to do well. Pay attention to everything he says because it will most likely be on the tests.
He seems like a nice man but is VERY political. Went off topic in class and relies heavily on videos. The only grades are two papers and two multiple choice tests which are VERY specific. If you take good notes on the lecture and from the book you will be fine. His TA is nice but counted me off for things that weren't on the rubric for the paper.
It's important to actually read the book and attend as many lectures as you can or you will miss points on the tests. Professor Campbell definitely brought his own political views into the course content and definitely came off as a stereotypical paranoid conservative but he is one of the most entertaining lecturers at this school.
Prof Campbell is a very kind and ethical man. Be sure to read the two books for this class, attend lecture, and participate! Aside from the reading, the class has a minimal workload. Two complaints: 1) Graded by few things so if you mess up early it's hard to come back. 2) Some test q's were ambiguous/had tricky wording.
Great Professor! too bad I took this class during my last quarter in sd. Otherwise, I will definitely take another class with him !!!! Strongly recommended.
Coach Campbell is one of the best professors at UC San Diego. Attend all of the lectures and make sure your notes are clear, the midterm/final are open notes. He is respectful and truly cares for his students. Great professor.
Just no! I don't believe these positive reviews are real, and my classmates said the same. He should be fired for the things he has said in class. He admits having been reported for his political rants. The class is easy pass but hard to get above a C because exam Q refers to very specific words he has said in class. Loves to talk RW politics.
MGT 16 was more applicable to real life than any other class I have taken. Coach is an amazing professor. He enables an environment that allows disagreements through respectful debate and you can tell he really cares about what he does. His last class is basically how to become successful in the business world based off of his experiences.
Great professor, he makes some comments that should not be said inside class, but he is a great professor. He request a lot of reading and research. Participation matters, he also talks a lot about his personal experience. Would take again 100%! If you have the opportunity to take MGT take it with him!
Does not podcast or provide slides. Lecture material feels irrelevant at times. He goes off on tangents and personal stories.
He frankly should not be a UCSD lecturer and especially for not as long as he has been. For material- you'll be tested on his superfluous anecdotes. There's no learning environment, he always has to be right- no matter what. This class was rife with hypocrisy. He has a grandiose sense-of-self & uses this as an opportunity to hear himself speak.
Doesn't Podcast or post slides, making attendance mandatory in order to do well on the midterm/final. Lectures are incredibly boring = tangents several times per class. Talks in circles / wastes time when material could be covered more efficiently. The material is for the most part interesting, the way it is projected Incredibly boring to bare.
Professor Campbell is probably one of the only professors on campus qualified to talk about Business. He does go on tangents and sometimes the lecture material is irrelevant to course. Does not podcast or record lectures, but papers are graded according to rubric. Course material is interesting with lots of participation, would take MGT 16 with him
If you're considering MGT 16, I highly recommend taking it with Coach Campbell. He is genuinely dedicated to ensuring your success in the real world of business and genuinely cares about your development. The Midterm/Final is centered around case studies discussed in class and a book he assigns for reading.
A very cool professor and interesting class. There are no lecture recordings and no discussions. The grade is based on a few assignments so make sure to try your best in all of them because he does not curve any tests or assignments. Make sure to pay attention in class and take notes!
If you want an A in the course, you need to perform well on all assignments/exams. Scares you at the beginning of the course making it seem harder than is but if you attend lecture you should be fine. Lectures are case study driven. Topics in the book that may be in exams will only be discussed if brought up in class.
ASK QUESTIONS! He is purposefully vague on some points in the syllabus and the only way you will pass this class is by attending lecture and asking questions about course content. It's a really engaging class, but not for the faint of heart. (technically you don't have to read 1984)
His classes were not taken for attendance, but if you don't attend lecture, good luck with the midterm and final. There are two papers in this class and they're fairly easy (you don't have to read 1989). Doesn't record lectures and doesn't have slides, so take good notes. He overall rambles a lot in class, which makes lectures sometimes boring.
Just do your work and everything should be fine. He does an amazing job presenting lectures and keeps the class engaged.
Lecturer Campbell (who many here have incorrectly dubbed 'Professor') is all bark and no bite. He rambles in lecture and rarely discusses ethics. Instead, he repeats catchphrases like a character in a 90s sitcom, baits students with inflammatory remarks, and then shuts down dissenters. Campbell is an excellent showman, but he is an awful teacher.
Hey! To who ever is reading this! Do yourself a favor and don't take him. He is such a bad teacher !
Says “I am not gonna spoon feed it to you guys” when talking about material that is going to be on the midterm. Gives 1 and a half hour for 1 essay and 18 question. For slow writers there is no time to finish in any way
Don't take this class if you can't stand "manager" style. Professor Campbell is a very harsh man. He does not tolerate students who aren't pro-active. This class runs like a company, you do research, then he asks you questions. No questions asked means you get nothing from him. The lectures are amazing as he is very well-spoken and articulate.
Don't recommend, idk how he got so many good review, he isn't very nice, he is kinda arrogant and likes to argue with the students. Basically he can't be wrong because he is always right. no one in my class had anything nice to say about him since the first class lol.
He doesn't tell you what is going to be on the midterm. If you can write an essay and answer 19 questions in 1:20 minutes go ahead and take this class. Oh ! By the way he doesn't tell you what is going to be on the midterm, he just tells you it's going to be chapter 1-6.
Likes to brag about his experience, and tell personal stories lectures are sooooooooooo boring.
Don't take, you are just going to have to drop this class eventually
It's a worthless class. Things he talks about: his ABSOLUTELY AMAZING debate team, conspiracy theories, his love for non-course related stuff. He gets mad when students aren't "engaging" with him, but when they do he twists their words and shuts them down. He can never be wrong, and if you want to express your opinion he cuts you off. Ethical? Nah
Pretty easy, and had straightforward assignments. The exams are very much based on lectures and the textbook he assigns but as long as you attend class you'll pass. I honestly didn't attend after week 6 and did fine on the final and papers. He is pretty controversial and honestly provides nothing intuitive or important but it's an easy A.
Campbell is an intelligent and engaging lecturer who values student participation—come prepared for case studies! The two essays are straightforward and not too challenging. Attending lectures is essential for doing well on exams, and be sure to read exam questions carefully, as they are worded very specifically and can trip students up.
Professor Campbell's MGT16 class is engaging, but requires active participation. Attend lectures, take good notes, and use resources like unstuck AI alongside the textbook to excel. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of it.
Rants about political views and tears down other people for theirs. Does not relate to business at all. Odd professor, class is hard either way. Argues and disagrees with students.
great lectures but very hard to get an A in this class. most people got B's. I would rather take another professor like Buchanan. I think Buchanan gives out more A's
Very passionate prof. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and cares about his students. The class is mainly lectures, but there is heavy student involvement. A large part of the class is based off of court cases, which I found interesting. He is conservative and shares his beliefs, often in a joking manor. Essays are graded very fairly.
You have nothing to review before the test because he will not upload any course materials or slides. The only thing you have is your note. The heavy midterm and finals killed my grade. Also, there is no homework, meaning if u got a bad grade on a final, it's hard to cover the grade. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS
I enjoyed Professor Campbell's lectures, but MAKE SURE you come with DETAILED notes on the case analysis because he will ask every question under the sun. You will have two main assignments, which are two straightforward essays, but since there was no homework, your test can be greatly affected if you do poorly on one.
He's definitely a strange guy. He LOVES his debaters and will often will give you help out the debate team. The research papers and midterm were A LOT but his TAs are easy graders so long as you do the work. GO TO CLASS. Its only really hard if you don't show up because he doesn't post anything on canvas. Often times goes on off-topic tangents.
He's an old man with a massive ego. He likes to engage students in debates, then shut them down immediately, and then talk about how he's the world's best debater. The class is relatively easy; make sure to take detailed notes. The tests are open-note; however, the questions are very specific, and he likes to make trick questions.
Slides and lectures were not podcasted/posted making attendance pretty much mandatory. Overall the class is pretty chill as long as you show up to class and listen to what he says. Sometimes he goes off on tangents but I personally found them interesting/funny. If you show up to lectures you will be fine for midterm and final. Not a lot of homework
Purposefully messed everyone up on the final only 7 people ended with an A in a class of 100.
Prof. Campbell is in my opinion, a great professor. He often engages the class with unique stories and cases instead of using boring lecture slides. While the class can sometimes be difficult, as long as you go to class, you will get a good grade, legitimately.
He is a debater and likes to have discussions within the class. Class was easy if you went to lecture and took notes.
Prof. Campbell is an awesome professor. I took him spring quarter and had a great time. Highly recommend.
Had a rough time with some of the projects and tests, but I loved him as a teacher. He was a super funny guy, when I actually showed up to class. If you come to class you'll do well, so dont be like me
By far the greatest professor I have ever taken. He has given me so much insight with his case studies. I have become a much better person because of him. 100% take his class, he will change your perspective on life itself. :)
Professor Campbell was too easy. Not much homework just research on cases which are interesting. Could for sure pass without going to lectures if you make a friend here since he does not post on canvas. Two papers were very easy and the final was just a MCQ. Would take again!
very fun professor who clearly is passionate about what he teaches. if you just show up to lecture, do the readings (short chapters), and put in effort on the essays you'll never stress about the class.
In spite of negative reviews, after the last day of class he had a long line of students come up to him to thank him. He genuinely cares about students & will help if you ask. His lectures are unusual, but they'll click after you get some life experience. First day of class I thought he was arrogant, but by the end I really came to respect him.
have to show up to every class to get a good grade. or have friends in the class. also make sure to take good notes. midterm and final are open-note. other than that, the class is pretty easy. one of the best classes I've ever taken. you can tell the prof cares a lot abt his students and I've learned a lot, not only abt ethics but abt life.
