One hell of a Professor --- Very eye opening - Extremely educated -- and REAL

he was the best professor I ever had! Very funny and lots of fun! Made me want to go to class.

Had so much fun in his class...and yes it is possible to get an A just do the reading and you'll be set.

He is the best teacher I ever had. I will always remember him. I had 2 classes with him and both were great! He knows his stuff but always accepts others opinions. He makes his class fun and interesting. He talks to you and not down to you. L.H.

I can't believe that Comeau got a hot pepper. JK. Great class, kept me coming. Really good material. I had a 4.0 average in my english classes and he gave me a B and screwed it up for me. But he's great.

Comeau is a funny guy, he talked for the whole class and kept everything interesting. Just do the journal ,midterm, and final and you will be set. His class is good for some intelligent conversation and good insight!

Good teacher easy class, hard work. my favortie types of class. Do the work the gives you'll get a good grade.

I think that we need more teachers like him to open up students minds. Yes, he would talk about topics other than the text but it is all credible information you could use in other areas of your life. Take him and see how intelligent he really is. This taeacher is absoultely more than limited.

He is an interesting teacher- he is very interesting and uses the text and relates it to everyday situations-He made the class as interesting as it could possibly be made.

Very interesting class, He talks a lot about life in general including the readings. Lot of hard work. have to write 4 pages in our journal every week. the writing has to be our opinion on the readings and to write any comments about the readings that we have

His classes are mostly about him talking, sometimes off topic, but always relevent to the main subject. He's a lazy grader but a fair guy. He says he doesn't give out A's but that's part of his "bulls**t" (his words, not mine). Write what you're thinking about in your journal, do good essays, and you'll get an A.

Nice guy! If you do you papers and write the jounal, you'll be fine! He talks most time of the class, it's amazing...he should be a woman :) But he is very helpful, should you have a problem! Just talk to him!Kepp up the good work, Prof. Comeau!!!

Someone said this prof is horrible because "he does not give out 'a's". no professor should "give out" any grade. you should EARN your grade!

He's a great professor! He mainly talks during the class. Write the journal and do a the papers. If you read the material, it's really easy. Just show up! I got an A, thanks Professor Comeau, your great!!!

I liked him somewhat. He is very reasonable and funny! I,although, would not take his class again.

Boring and talks way way too much. He is very lazy and does not give out A's, mostly all B's and some C's. He is not like your average english professor, he does not go over how to write a paper or at least the format he would like for his papers. Reading the text will help, which the essays are based on the text.

I didn't think his class was boring. he does talk A LOT, but if you listen closely you'll realize that his seemingly random stories somehow tie to the situations of the characters we read about. really funny and laid back, but I can easily tell he is well educated and SMART. I sat in the first lecture and after 15 ins I knew I would enjoy it.

This proffessor is great in my opinion. I took him for both ENG 101 and 102 and recieved a good grade. Yes, he talks alot about many things, but he shares interesting ideas. Very laidback, open-minded, and easy. And if you need help just ask, he'll be glad to help. He wont say anything until you ask. I recommend him

Listen it is very simple, if you have the oppertunity to take Comeau.... DO IT! he is extremely laid back doesnt care about attendance and will give out extensions to papers without reducing the grade comeau is every student's best friend... take him!

This is one of my favorite professors in college. he is so intelligent and i learned a lot from him. he's hilarious. i looked forward to this class everyday. i would reccommend him to everyone

Absolutely loved this professor!!! His knowledge on how the world works in comparison to any subject or book is astonishing!! Just attend class (doesn't really care) and put effort in your work. He's open to any questions during and after class. Can't wait to take him again.

Professor Comeau is the man. 'Nough said. If you pay attention, and do what he says, and you're guaranteed an east "A".

Prof. Comeau is awesome! He's easy. You just have to understand real live and know that he brings in a lot of examples. Try talking in class even though he's talking. He likes opinions. He's also very funny. Won't care too much if you don't show up but hand in your work.

My fav college class by far. I looked forward to attending every week. The assignments were very easy. Just a few papers and some journal work and that was it. He's extremely laid back, and is willing to work with you outside of class. He extremely intelligent and funny. Hard to participate in class when he just keeps talking but he likes his voice

VERY chill. Have a conversation with him so you can get to know him and so he can get to know you. Great guy. He knows his stuff but he puts it out there if you want to learn. Either or, really. He talks a good amount but whats an english class usually about? Literature and whatnot.. Take him and go with the flow. Go with the flow.

Great Teacher I Learned Something.

He does go off track but if you opened your minds a bit more, you would learn from his lectures. He chooses stimulating, important material (for the most part) to read and shares a lot of his overall knowledge. I had no problem learning some enjoyable, real life information from him. Highly recommend him if you think outside of the academic box.

This was a fun class. The lectures were very fun. You had to write a journal and do a few short papers 3-5 pages in length. The journaling was very fun and easy for me. The lectures were all over the place by Professor Comeau but they were entertaining and enlightening and he tied them into the material.

Very interesting English prof. with expertise in other areas outside his subject, making the class highly interesting and you will leave class knowing facts. Essays are long but now you're in college, expect do to work and not enjoy. Very cool and non stress class. Expect journal writing which I found useful in correcting my day to day grammar.

Professor Comeau is brilliant. Very well informed on William Shakespeare. He definitely knows how to lecture but it's up to you to dissect what needs to be written in your journal. If your not prepared to work do yourself a favor and stop occupying a seat that would otherwise be useful to someone to someone who does.

Very good and very understanding. He does not assign homework or give tests. He assigns about 4 or 5 papers a semester and a journal that you must write a page in about 4 times a week. It is very important to show up in order to complete the journals because they have to be written about class discussions.

Easy class no homework or test only papers to write

good professor, we had four to five paper and write in a journal. if you miss class then it going be hard for you to write about the lectures that he was talking that day. no homework and no quiz

He definitely talks a lot and is funny; if you arent social or dont want to hear lecture, then this class isnt for you. Otherwise, hes a very smart man and has a lot to say about life and will help you if you ask him. Just make sure you are an adult and keep track of the things that you need to hand in (4 papers+Journal); or else you'll fail.

honestly one of the best professors I've had in this school. Yes he will make you work and read and write papers but he's a fair grader and if you do your work and hand in your journals you will be fine! plus he makes you become interest in Shakespeare need I say more? by the way this was a summer class.

All in all the class went well. This was a summer course and assignments were consistent so you know what is expected. The grading seemed tough but the material was interesting.

I took his class in the winter semester. He uploads notes for every class, which is very helpful. There are ten journals and four formal papers. He wants us to understand the topics and explain them in our words. If you do your journals on time, you will be fine.

Comeau is generally a decent professor. He assigns work but takes what you have whether it's on time or not. He's hilarious and doesn't stay on topic. If you like to be challenged, he isn't for you. He's pretty chill and understanding as well. If you lack with comprehension and/or looking to further perfect your writing, I wouldn't recommend him.

Great Professor for English 101, I will be taking him for ENG-102.

Professor Comeau is witty and knowledgeable about literature and culture, and he always finds a way to make his lectures interesting. Comeau also clearly cares about the material he professes about, and the work he assigns is pretty straight forward, but thought provoking and encourages growth. I recommend this course highly.

Took Him for 101 and 102 ENG great teacher , lectures could be better but overall he just speaks his mind and matches it with the corresponding Readings . Respectful , workload is definitely manageable NO TEST , NO QUIZZES just weekly Journals and a few papers which can be challenging at times. I would take him again

Interesting but takes effort. Weekly 3 page journals, 2 Shakespeare (have to read all of Hamlet) essays and 1 on an author from the readings. Other ones are Chopin, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, etc. Need 1k words every journal for full credit. Not an "easy" gen ed but you can get through if you use online analyses to understand stuff better.

He's funny, talks a lot so we don't learn much. I don't mind that's what made the class easy you don't even have to show up. BUT beware of how much you're going to have to write. The weekly journals took me out but you have a week to write them learn from me and don't do it last minute. Essays were way easier than the journals. Poetry based class.

Very enjoyable class, workload was light in comparison to my STEM classes, and the professor seemed to really enjoy the content we went over. The professor also provided really insightful notes on each of the readings for the week. Wish I was able to take in person, would've probably enjoyed even more.

Really calm class. Don't do anything it's more at home work. But he talks from start to finish about bout nothing
