The only class I failed during 4 years of college. He is not a good prfessor, he is the worst I have seen, don't take him. He posts the grades on the door, almost 80% of students fail in his class. Go check befor you take him.

Very disappointing as a teacher and a person.Does not show any interest in class.Always late.Doesn't want to explain anything.You'll have no clue as to how you're doing in class.Can give quizes on material covered weeks ago.It looks like he doesn't want to be there(in lab).Waste of time.No guarantee you'll do good in class.

I had him when I was a freshmen in 2006. I honestly thought he was nuts. He couldnt stand still for literally a second and he would often come to class drenched in sweat on cold days...I couldnt keep up with anything he said. I seriously do not reccomend this teacher if you are a biology major!!! YOU WILL END UP FAILING!!!!

prof. corin doesnt know how to teach biology he gets mad if you ask him a question gets snippy very fast, also its very hard to understand him he failed more than half my class -not recommending him

THE MAN IS A HORRIBLE AT TEACHING!! HE'S VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE TEACHING YOURSELF WITH THE TEXTBOOK THEN DONT TAKE HIM! HE COMES LATE, DOESNT FOLLOW HIS OWN SYLLABUS, GETS MAD WHEN YOU ASK HIM QUESTIONS AND TEACHES WHATEVERS GOING THROUGH HIS HEAD AT THAT POINT IN TIME. HE ALSO HAS NO EMAIL OR VOICEMAIL SO YOU CANT CONTACT HIM

HORRIBLE. ALWAYS comes to class late. doesnt show ANY interest at all in teaching. Doesnt even know when the class ends and starts. tests are unfair. tests are worded very strangely and sloppily typed. you cant even study for them cause he doesnt follow the syllabus so you dont know what to read in text. does not speak clearly he just kinda mumbles

worst professor at csi. doesn't care about teaching or if his students learn at all. good for if you just want to pass and don't care what grade you pass with. not good for bio majors who actually want to learn and pass with a respectable grade

Professor Corin is an incomprehensible professor. He slurs his words, flails his arms around, and gets covered in chalk although he does not use a chalk board. He will not pass you. Your notes will not save you. He makes up questions that probably don't have existing answers. But he's the head of the department so you can't escape! Be afraid!

He's the absolute worst professor at CSI. The man CANNOT teach. He may know his stuff, but his speech is so unclear and his manner so unprofessional that he should have been forcibly retired long ago. He's always late to class,and does not help you when you need him to explain something. He does play favorites. You'll not get the grade you deserve!

The way he puts over his material is confusing, he jumps from topic to topic &don't bother asking him to expalin something, he becomes frustrated & if u get an explanation it's more confusing than what he teaches. Try ur best to take accurate notes as fast as posibble. He makes up his own exams but they r Very TRICKLY &HARD.

This professor had me confused from day 1. He tells you that he doesn't go by the text book but when I was in fear of failing and reached out to him he told me it's all in the text book. He won't review, he words his tests weird, and he is very scatter brained. No organization to his teaching. And the only thing that matters are the tests.

He is a good person but I can't say that he is a good professor, don't get me wrong he knows the topics very well but he is not clear at all while teaching them he doesn't use powerpoint the handouts are not clear at all. I used to like biology and he made me change my major! DO NOT to take him unless you want to learn everything by yourself

Do not take his class! The way he teaches is horrible and he is all over the place. He barely gives any notes and if any, they're unclear. Tests are hard to understand and the format is absurd. He tells you to go to tutoring in the library if you ask for help. If you still choose to take his class be prepared to teach yourself and good luck.

I came to CSI as a visiting student in hopes of getting out of bio at my school (Binghamton). This accelerated summer course has been such an unpleasant experience. Corin, although intelligent, is a terrible, arrogant, ineffective professor. The class is scattered, he makes the material hard to learn, and does not tell you what will be tested.

take this class if you know somebody that took it before. all of his tests are the same from previous years. very unprofessional and rude professor, good luck if youre taking him

Don't take him. He does not talk clearly and mumbles a lot. You will feel so lost in his class. Talks really low and gets mad if you tell him. His quizzes are from his notes but you don't even understand him. He does curve though if you talk to him.

Horrible professor. Very rude, doesnt tell you what topic r u in, so u could read the book, because his lectures very unclear. You barely can understand what is he talking about. All the notes on the board are messy. Doesnt follow syllabus. Youll feel lost in his class. After test he gives back scantron only. Dont take him.

This is my first year in college and this professor made me change my major. You can not hear or understand him at all whatsoever. I tried to record him and I hear nothing in the recording. His class is all test based so if you fail even one test you are basically screwed. He writes on the chalkboard but it is no help at all. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS

I swear I regret taking his class. We have homework every week and exam every week. I barely heard what he says and he is so unorganized. His notes are a mess and you cant even see anything.

really poor expierince. he doesnt really know how to use a computer. if students are required to have a computer, working wifi, quiet place to learn.. then our professors should know how to use a computer at the bare minimum. cannot understand him or his handwriting during lectures. the tests were scattered all over the place. hes kinda rude.

lies about grading, hard to understand, very rude, and doesn't answer his emails. Run for the hills or take the class another semester if he's only available, don't do it to yourself....

Worst "teacher" I've ever had. The lab assignments were through an online interactive site & he didn't know what they were on, or what the tests covered. How do you teach a class when you don't know what is being covered? He barely taught during the lectures and basically rambled. Didn't respond to emails until the end of the semester.

he barely responds to emails and even after a chain of emails going back and forth with him, he still does not provide a useful response. bio lab is supposed to be fun as this is the practical class but I can barely hear a word he says. it was not a great experience for me considering this is my first college bio lab class. 2/10

He is fairly laid back but PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS and don't take his class. He has no respect for student's needs and time. He missed the deadline to submit letter grades and was probably the last professor in all of CSI to do so. I missed my medical school applications because of his disregard to deadlines. He is also very disorganized.

Professor Corin's class was difficult to understand. His voice tone was very low, making it hard to hear him clearly. Additionally, the content he posted didn't align with what we covered in class. Somehow, I passed, but this class will definitely cause a lot of stress.
