I'm not sure if he's still teaching here, but I had him last semester and he's so great! I hate biology, and he helped to make it interesting. He is one of the funniest people I've ever met. If you pay attention, and do the readings, you'll do fine:)

Just a wonderful and pleasant person. Explains things through great analogies. Great sense of humor makes the course bearable. Tests are not easy, not hard. But in a class like this you need clarity and he gives it to you. A hearty thumbs up for this gc

I have him for lecture too and I like him. He's on point and focused. He does overheads and write only a lil so you better take good notes. He isnt a bore and doesnt tell stupid, long stories. I hope I pass. Great job Dr. Crocker!!!

Lecture great, Lab not. Too much material, not enough actual lab time. Bone test was unfair but not his fault, as its dictated by dept. quizzes would be better or a bone test word bank since its way too much

Very Challenging course! I took this course in the summer and failed because you get a month's worth of work in a week! He is a great professor with a sense of humor. I would take him again (not in the summer)Take good notes and make sure 2 study HARD! A-

he used to teach at molloy. He is one of the best teachers ive had for a bio class. He's really funny and i enjoyed the class. The lab tests are a little challenging and the lecture tests are a piece of cake if u study

Excellent teacher. He has a website with all of the notes on it for you to print out so you can following all easier in class. All you need to do is add a few notes to the print outs and then you have everything you need in order to do great on his tests!

a gem. not easy. BUT, he gives you all the bullets to do well. You actually learn. Isnt that why you are there. He is a natural teacher. So clear and concise its refreshing. He wont baby you but he will respect you. A wonderful wonderful man and a great professor. A Farmingdale steal. Thy're lucky

there is no better in any subject or any school. if he were a movie he would be 4 stars. like the song goes "simply the best". he has intelligence of the subject, and his teaching skills should be copied and sold. he is a walking clinic on how to truly TEACH. i LEARNED and I wanted to be there. the best, its as simple as that.

One of the best professors! I was so lucky to get him and then I made sure I got him again. He is very specific about what he wants from you as a student. If you follow that, you will get a good grades. He made jokes in class that were pretty darn funny. He never kept you for more than 2 hrs in lab and if you do the work ahead, he'll let you skip

hard subject but great teacher...he makes it so easy he explains everything in great detail its amazing because he has the outlines on his website already all you have to do is print it and then bring it to class it matches exactly what he is doing on the overhead. tests are multiple choice not easy but if you study the notes you should be fine.

The best teacher I've ever had for such a hard subject! I first took him for A&P2 after I did very poorly in A&P1 and now I'm taking him for 1 again. His notes are very clear and he wants you to succeed. Don't be fooled by how detailed his notes are..you MUST read the text for every chapter! I never had him for lab but I'm sure he's great

Made it very easy since he provides a website where you can download all the lecture outlines. It's a very difficult course and theres no way of getting around that... but he made it very interesting with his stories and humor. Very caring and willing to help you out, even offered extra review for our lab during lecture time. Loved him!!!

An excellent professor and a wonderful person. Understands the difficulty of the course and uses as many common sense applications as possible to ease students into the material. Absolutely worth taking the class with because of the knowledge he has to impart, but remember that is is ultimately YOU who earns the grade.

okay honestly, Dr. Crocker is a really smart man, but i dnt really like his teaching meathods. Its all power point. He does try and help you understand the material and he cares, but his test are EXTREMELY HARD. DO NOT FALL BEHIND. ugh, they are so difficuly... good Luck..

Great guy, very funny. Tells funny real life stories to help relate to subject matter. Makes material memorable by use of nmeumonics. Stay on top of the material, study , and be respectful of his time. He's always willing to give extra help at office hours. Learned so much, wish I could have had him for 171! You rock Dr. Crocker!

Crocker is one of the best professors i've had so far. He explains everything in simplest terms, gets you involved, and relates all the information to life with excellent analogies so you understand what he's talking about. His tests are VERY difficult, but do-able with massive amounts of studying.

Awesome professor! There is no better professor for an A&P class! The class itself is very difficult and requires a ton of studying. Crocker is always very helpful, clear, and even funny. I did not use the textbook once. In my opinion, it is not needed for the class. Just use the power points and take good notes.

Dr. Crocker is a great man and an awesome teacher. As much as I like him as a teacher & person, his tests are ridiculous and very unfair. He tests on a clinical level, not on basic information from his powerpoints. Youll learn alot,but HIS tests are a killer.

This professor is by far the WORST I've ever had! His tests are HARD even after massive amounts of studying! He tells you to study all this unnecessary information that is not even on the test! Im withdrawing from this class!!!! Keep away from this class if you are looking for an A in A&P!!!!

This teacher is Dull and Boring. His jokes were amusing for the first week.. but grew older and older since he only has a few in his back pocket. His tests were extremely trivial, and are drawn strictly from the notes. Avoid this teacher if possible, especially if you are trying to make grades to get into a graduate program.

Tests are mostly from his powerpoints and some info from textbook. They are very straight forward, you either know the info or you don't. He moves quick so if you miss a lecture it might be enough to put you far behind the rest of the class. Tests are not hard if you study

He is a great prof. but his test are a KILLER, he thinks his teaching medical students.If you working full-time and have lil kids will be imposible to go through this class with him. But I had a great lab professor and I got a B just because I had an A in lab if not I would get a C. Avoid him if you dont have time to study.

Knows his stuff, has powerpoints for class but explains them in his own words so you can fully understand the topics. Makes it clear that A&P is difficult but wants his students to pass. Tests are based directly off powerpoints and what he talks about in lecture. Will take the time to go over anything you don't understand, very personable

Very clear and specific on what needs to be done for success! He is kind and really cares about his students. Class was hybrid and very interesting. No textbook required and posts notes with audio files online if you need better clarification. Highly recommended! A is easy if you attend his class and engage with his material.

Such a nice man and very helpful professor. He was so understanding when I needed to be our for a week for personal reasons and did everything he could to try and catch me up. Reviews for test were very thorough. Highly recommend taking him!

Dr. Crocker is a great professor. Period. He makes sure to flesh out the material shown on his slides as best as he can and in a way that's relatable to the students. His tests were surprisingly difficult, but if you study to the best of your ability there's no reason why you shouldn't succeed. I highly recommend taking his class.

Dr. Crocker is a genuinely nice professor who seems to really be interested in teaching the material. Don't bother buying the textbook, the tests come exclusively from his powerpoint slides. just read the powerpoints and know all of the material, come to office hours if youre confused. VERY hard tests, if you're pre-med avoid him to protect GPA

Liked this professor a lot as person. He was very knowledgeable, and always offered his help during office hours (It's hard to go to office hours when you work full time!). His tests are another story... No matter how hard I studied, I would go in there confident that I knew the material, and then get a C on his tests. VERY difficult tests.

Took this professor for A and P 2 and I am warning you do not take him if you want a good grade!! I was a B+ student in A & P 1 and this professors tests are just impossible. He gives this long speech the first day of class saying that whatever teacher you get the tests will be tough. No just no. It's his tests that are the HARDEST and impossible.

Prof. Crocker clearly explains all expectations from the beginning. He makes himself available to all students who may need additional help. During lectures, he welcomes any questions.. You will come out of Prof. Crocker's class with a solid foundation in human A&P.

Very intelligent man, he tries to explain the information in terms that you will understand. He gives extremely difficult exams. If you study and make sure you know the material inside and out, you should do okay. I studied for days before the exams and was only able to pull low 80's. The textbook isn't necessary, but for studying it is helpful!

Before taking him this semester i looked at his reviews and was so scared. The reviews are wrong he is the BEST yes there is homework but it only benefits you because they are on the test. He gives you a sheet with what you have to know instead of over studying. He answers all questions & gives reviews. I got a D in a&p1 this time around an A!

He's a rough professor to take, but he does care for his students and if you can take his class and make it through, you will not only learn about the difficulty the classes you'll take in the future will be but you will learn about the clinical aspects of a career in bioscience. His tests are hard but not unfair, if you don't do well, it's on you.

If you're a bio major you will not have a problem taking his class. Straightforward and you earn what you put into the class. He is very knowledgeable, answers any question, he's pretty funny, and does a good job putting material into a clinical perspective. Non bio majors may have a harder time in his class due to the harder nature of A&P.

Best Prof I have EVER had. Truly cares about educating the next gen for his field. Tough class, but WORTH it. Its a lot of reading, a lot of studying, but you will leave his course much more knowledgeable, and he WANTS to help everyone pass. Encouraging, very funny, i was never bored in his lectures even though they are very intense. Great guy

Had Dr. Crocker for an online Bioethics class. Really good experience. It was the type of class I'm glad I did online because it was just an opinion discussion due once a week and a few papers. Really nice guy, would def recommend!

I had him for an online bioethics class. 100% recommend him. He was a great professor and all issues that he covered were relevant to real life problems. Directions were easy to follow and straight forward. He was probably one of the best professors I've had at FSC. We had 4 papers that were 3-5 pages and 13 modules. Easy A, just participate!

Very very easy online class. Discussions every week of minimum 300 words but you really learn a lot about what you research and discuss! Easyyyy quizzes and very easy final research paper. Just stay responsible and you'll get an easy A

Easy A. Professor Crocker is an easy grader. You have discussion posts every week 300 word minimum and you have to reply to one person every week. There are 4 , 3-5 page papers for the semester, the 4th paper is optional. No exams or group projects. Great GPA booster for the STEM majors.
