Great professor! I hated math until I entered his class. He makes everything in college algebra understandable and enjoyable even for those who are weak in the subject. The best thing about him is that he's always willing to help his students! TAKE HIM or you're missing out!

I'm by no means a math person but I loved his teaching methods. He'll do anything he can to help his students and even takes time out of his schedule to hold an extra review class every test week. He also encourages students to ask questions during class while he actually teaches the best way to solve problems. He's also kinda funny and cute.

Robbie is so amazing, I'll admit on the first day I thought he was a student. But once I stepped in his class and we began learning I'm so happy I picked him. He's so funny and if you actually go and get help from him he jokes around with you. I absolutely hated math before Robbie and now I'm actually understanding the material!

Saved my math grade. Normally I am horrible at math but Professor Devun put so much effort into teaching the material that I made an A. Not an easy A for sure, but he provided many opportunities to raise your grade including dropping your lowest homework and quiz grades. He also provided bonus for taking pre-tests. Math has never been my strong suit. He goes above and beyond your typical math professor. He ALWAYS answers questions and explains something you dont understand in different ways until it makes sense. TAKE HIM!

Hands down the best teacher I have ever had. I took his 161 class last semester and he was even willing to help out in his office hours, or in the lab. Robbie is basically a lifesaver

Firstly, I don't think I've had higher than a C in math since my sophomore year of hs. Robbie is definitely my favorite teacher I have ever taken, not to mention I managed to keep an A all semester. I HIGHLY recommend him if you get the chance to take him. He's very thorough in his lectures and very helpful outside of class.

I have never gotten better than a D in any Math class in my entire life. I am currently carrying a B in this class and I am thrilled. He is an amazing teacher and if you don't fully understand a topic in class, he will help you during office hours, and in Math lab. I just wish I could take him for all of my math classes.

I can't express enough how amazing this teacher is. He came about halfway through the semester since our teacher went into labor. He saved us. He made trig make sense. I was able to pass because of him. He constantly tells us to come to his office and to the math lab to learn more. Very fair grader. He wants you to pass. You guys--take him!!!

Robbie is probably the most caring instructor you will have at SELU. He really wants you to pass and helps by teaching in ways that are easy to understand. He is willing to help, a lot. BUT you need to do your part and actually do your homework, lab hours, and your dang practice tests. If you can't do that, than you shouldn't even take the class.

FUNNY GUY and knows what he is talking about! He works on the board and posts what we've done after class. Attendance is not mandatory but some topics are harder than others and if you miss class, you will not be able decipher his notes unless you were there. It also helps that this is class is the easier of the maths, and i hate math.

Great professor, one of the best professors I've had during my time at SLU. He knows his stuff and willing to help in anyway. It's math so you must go to class to understand. Lab hours help so don't skip them. Also teaches other math courses as well.

Robbie is the bomb. All of the work is online but if you need help he has your back. he is completely honest about your class grade and the class before the test he helps you prepare for it. If it wasn't for Robbie I would have gotten a worse grade than I did. Do all the homeworks and get 100 on the quizzes you get multiple tries. he will help you.

Robbie is soo HILARIOUS! This guy curses everyday about his love life and so on, but it is funny though. He makes math easy and encourages you to improve. I mean I made 100s on test just to hear "You get Robbie points and coffee!"

AMAZING!! I had to withdraw the first time I took this math and I heard he was great so I knew I had to take him. He always gave me his honest opinion about any lessons and about my grades. He is just great! Attendance isnt mandatory but it is if you want to pass.

Mr. Devun (aka "Robbie") is highly rated for a reason: he gets you ready for tests, and does so in an extremely laid back and chill way. Essentially, Math 105 is an online course with a teacher in which most test materials and homework are generated by the department, but Mr. Devun provides a generous amount of help in preparing. Easy choice.

If you need a more in-depth explaining of something, you can usually stay after class and he will be more than happy to talk to you. He has a lot of dad jokes and is a little weird but it keeps it interesting.

Tests are on paper. For each of them, you can draw a dinosaur picture in place of a question, I'm completely serious.

Robbie is amazing. The only downside to Robbie is that he's required to teach what the school tells him to, so if the curriculum is crap so is the actual math. HOWEVER Robbie makes things very doable. He explains things very clearly, posts notes and he is always able to help during office hours and math lab. Lots of dad jokes

He explains math in a way that you'll understand. Go to math lab, do the practice tests to get partial credit, do all assignments in math lab, and show up to class. You'll pass his class.

He is the best for breaking math down and explaining the different types of problems as well as why you're doing what you're doing to solve them.I would marry him if it meant having him teach me math every day for the rest of my life. Took him for trig, super easy grader, gives partial credit, is willing to tutor you during his office hours, and goes at the pace of the overall class. It is a math class so you do still have to do the mymathlab quizzes and homeworks, but so long as you try youll make a good grade.

Robbie is the most lenient teacher I have ever taken. I have struggled with math in high school and never had a B in any math class. If you show him you are trying and communicate with him, you will succeed. His assignments are due either the night before each test or a few days before and it has given me so much time to understand and prepare.

His stats class was the first math course Ive never felt lost in. He stopped to answer every students question and concern. The day before our test we would review with a study guide. There were a handful of HW assignments on MathXL, but it wasnt too bad. We had three tests total.

I loved taking his class! He is so funny and he really cares about his students, if you ever need help, email him or stay after class to get help. He is always active on his email even at 3 in the morning, and he always talks about how he is at target. Take him!
