Mr. Diaz is a great math professor. Is the only teacher that I have that really listens and actually tries to help. Everyone should take him. He makes things really clear by using a lot of colors on the board.

Mr. Diaz is a very good teacher he’s very attentive to the students needs. If you have to miss class just e-mail him or call him but definitely keep in touch and that will totally go a long way.

Mr. Diaz is a nice teacher, but if your not really good in math he is not the teacher for you. I would ask him questions and he would get frustrated with me because i wouldn't get the answer right away. If your planning to take him for math a stressful semester awaits you. If you like a challenge take Mr. Diaz he is right for you.

no way! he make the class so easy. he gives practice tests that are just like the in class tests. he is so nice in and out of class. he answers all my questions and is super patient--can't believe that he can ever get mad at anyone. he tells us to do the practice test and hw over email so that we don't forget. do the work and he's an easy A!

I respect and like Robert Diaz. He is challenging but not demanding. He has no favorites. He likes students who work hard. He is young and enthusiastic about his subject. He is absolutely my favorite all-time teacher. You will love his math class and personality. He is real, humble, and very smart. He is a wonderful person!!!

diaz is a cool guy, funny with an odd/dorky sense of humor. very willing to help, and re-explain things. lectures and has you work in groups. i hate math, and im horrible at it...HORRIBLE at math, and i got an A. Good guy, good teacher. :o)

a dyslexic math teacher. Very funny... He's a decent guy, and a good teacher. He'll answer your questions, he'll explain stuff well in class, and he'll be very upfront about his tests. No nonsense, no favorites, no bullsh*t. I rated him middle-of-the-road easy because I've got him for calcIII, which is hard no matter who you take it with.

he's a pretty easy teacher. very easy going. but doesnt allow people to disrespect him at the same time. still holds his position as the teacher and not your best friend. very respectful. i reccomend him. he really cares about students and them learning.

The coolest professor I have ever seen. He is a combination of a comedian and a helpful professor. He has passion on his job and enjoys making some interesting examples about daily life and fashion to relate to his math smoothly. Students will feel time passes too fast in his lecture. He cares about students. He makes notes for students, organized and digested. Lectures and exams focus on them, students feel easy to know what they need to know. Students can get high grades in his class. It is not because it is easy. He helps students to find their potentials on math, helping students make it. Take his course, you will enjoy it.

Highly Recommend! Has a great sense of humor and always kept things interesting. Exams are fair, grading is more than fair. Miscellaneous extra credit available from time-to-time if you're in the hole. Overall, great teacher, great experience! Oh, and he has all the cool guitars I want :) Rock on :) !!!!

i've always had a weak math background. He was very helpful. Great guy. MORE than fair! dorky, but cool :) I think he's probably the best teacher in math. He's not easy to the point where his students take him as a joke. He's not hard to the point, where he's a ****. Overall: GREAT!

I really did not like Diaz at all. He is excruciatingly boring and hard to understand at times. He tries to be funny... but it doesn't work out too well. I do have to respect the man, he tries hard. However, teaching might not of been a good career choice for him.

this dude is awesome. his style of teaching a subject is totally different. if u attend a class regularly and take all the notes.. then there is no chance to fail this class. most of the problems in exams, are from his notes. he is very helpful, kind and the best thing is his nature. he makes the suject very easssyyyy....

Upon first seeing Robert you might think he is another student.Great guy! If you are NOT a math freak, but like me, are actually afraid of math, Robert is your guy. He also keeps regular office hours. Two bits of advice~ Don't miss class, and DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Class was easy and enjoyable. Must do all homework(not much), be on time, and not miss any days. Exams are straight from notes. Again Easy & Fun!!! I strongly recommend him!!!

alright everyone is giving him pos. feedback, which is good here is some neg. feedback. He doesnt realy go over hw he assigns. And you realy must know all the tricky problems, but they will either be in hw, or the notes. Go to him during office hours for hw u dont get. I didnt do that and i regret it. Great guy, prepare to spend lots of time

If you are looking for a teacher then Robert is not for you. My class averaged a 65% on one of the mid course tests. He did not bother to go over the material again, just continued with the syllabus.

I was probably in the same class. No one really studies so I can't blame him for moving on. When I didn't understand something, I would see him in his office, and was always helpful. He would go over anything I wanted and more. Helped me on old tests and homework from the computer. I got an A in this class. Nice guy. I will take him for Math 40 too

GREAT TEACHER!!!!!!!!! his lecture and homework problems are resonable not too hard not to easy. very clear in explaining a problem and his tests are easy if you do hw and study lecture notes. take him for this class. very nice guy with a good sense of humor!!! material is not too hard and he explains in detail.

The tests are not tricky and hard as long as you study for your notes and homework. you might feel like homework is a little bit pressure, but remember that what he assigned for your homework is always important for your test also. He is a great teacher, you will enjoy ur class for a whole semester

For his class you don't need a graphing calculator. Attendance is mandatory and hw is mandatory and due every day. he's a great teacher, explains things clearly and follows the book exactly, but you should listen to lectures bc this textbook sucks at explaining things. he moves kinda fast, but that could be just for his summer course.

Expect Quizzes, but they are easy if you pay attention to the lectures. The test are not hard but all the material learned is covered. The teacher is so cool, and really helpful. I'm planning on taking his 250A class next seemster. Take his class if you are willing to study and to keep on track with the hw!

Robert is the man! I took his class during Summer 2007 at 7am. He's a younger dude that most students can relate to. If you're looking into taking PHYS222, be sure to take MATH250A first!

He says he is "as hard as the book." It's true. He definitely helps you learn the mechanics of calculus and not just spitting stuff out - you must know theorems for the tests. I would recommend him for those who enjoy math. You'll either love or hate him. If you can't stand him, get out of the class.

you either love him or you don't. dreaded this class and ended up dropping. boring as hell and he tries to be funny. exams are from his notes... but they are still tough. must do homework and must know all the really tricky problems by heart because they will be on the test. lots of homework.

He is straight forward. Nothing was ever tricky or somthing that was never seen before. He was always helpful in office hours and was willing to help. Very thorough. I was able to easily do the homework with just his notes. Like the guy below, a lot of idiots in his class that suck and can't do the hw. He's not to blame. I wish he is teaching 150B.

Took Mr. Diaz after a real bad experience in Math 40 in the spring. Mr Diaz is such a great teacher. He is real nice and listens even to those people that were failing the class. A lot of people were failing the class and dropped but it was not his fault. The tests were like the notes and homework. The final was easy.

Mr. Diaz is there to teach adn help you learn math, so he is a little strict but he is super sweet and understanding. I recommend taking Mr. Diaz if you are looking to learn and succeed. :)

This professor was one of the most interesting professors I've had. He notes were easy to follow and he kept his lecture interesting. Homework is a must if you want a good grade. Do the homework, attend class and you should pass no problem.

Mr. Diaz is a very good teacher. Apparently he has a problem with younger students complaining about his difficulty (might be why he was so mean to our class). The class is Calculus and if you are not savvy in math, sadly it will take some work to get it. That's life though, and you are going to have to work to accomplish anything worthwhile.

Diaz is the best, hands down. If you need to move onto higher math classes, Diaz will make it his duty to make sure you KNOW everything - while making it enjoyable. He explains topics very well. His tests are reasonable, and he will train you to dominate any class ever.

It will take you some time to realize this teacher's worth. At first, he will seem like a real jerk, but he will eventually prove himself. The class isn't necessarily EXTREMELY difficult, but if you don't try hard, he will definitely show you off. Attendance, punctuality, and a passion for math are a must in his class. He's a very good teacher.

Very down to earth. wants you to actually want to be in his class. drops people without warning if you miss days and misses 8 homework assignments. Kind of up and down with his emotions i guess. more of a friend than a professor. homework is all online so he doesnt make you buy the textbook. take him if your not lazy. i was and got a c.

This guy is epic. Super helpful, will help you if you go see him. Loves math. Make sure to talk to him about videogames. Dropped one test to replace with the final which saved my grade! I got an A thanks to his help. Couldn't recommend him enough.

bad bad bad he is kinda crazy and he takes off 10 points of tests is you write down the theorem but you forget to put a period at the end or capitalize the first word . if he is the only teacher in the world, then take him. all these other raters must be math geniouses if they said they liked him!

Seriously, dude is absolutely adorable but not the best teacher. He's more of a "just do what the textbook tells you" kind of guy than actually explaining WHY. Tons of homework everyday. He likes feeling like he's down with the students, so talk to him about street fighter 4 or whatever and he'll feel validated.

The class moved very fast and time was not available to answer my questions. When he did answer my questions he was very short so he could keep on lecturing.All homework was online no textbook.He loves video games and relates many math problems to his video games.If you are used to working out of a textbook, I do not recommend taking this class.

This is a teacher that seems he has just started teaching.. He needs to change the way he wants everyone to memorize theroems when he cant memorize them himself! he reads it off his paper... also he should stop wasting time telling stories and more teaching.. he is an okay funny teacher but i would not take him again

Mr. Diaz was very nice. He always signed his emails with "kindest regards." More recently, I had to contact him about something and he remembered me and asked how I was. That may not seem like it has anything to do with his teaching ability, but good teaching starts with caring about your students.

His technique of teaching is very different, everything is laid out right in front of you through the notes he posts on mygateway so ALWAYS reference them if you want to get an A. Its a lot of work but the more you do it, the more you'll understand. If you dont have time, then don't take his class.

Diaz is really a simple and approachable instructor. He expects a lot from his students and expects meticulousness in his exams.Homework is online and exams are from the notes. Lone thing i disliked about the class was his notes: he transcribed the ex. problems from textbook and redid them in class. Take him if you have the chance.

Book & HW online?do ALL the HW. Tests are hard but doable. Write out the proofs & show ALL your work. Diaz is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's passionate about math & truly cares about his students. Not an easy class but don't let that discourage you. I hate math but loved this class. Take him & put in the effort?you won't regret it.

This guy is not a good teacher at all! Goes too fast, is very offensive. I would NOT recommend him. When you ask a question, he will give you a 5 second response just so he can keep talking. Hw is all online and he gives hw for every class. Really rude man, no people skills whatsoever.

awesome! took his math 40 online class. so easy. homework not mandatory, all you had to do were quizzes and tests. you get 3 tries on each test to pass. i suck at math and also super lazy when it comes to it, and i got a c. always responded to my emails. take online!!

Im a skilled math student and not a whiner, but this is the most out of touch professor Ive ever taken. Unreasonable expectations for homework & studying (5+ hr hw). Obsessively meticulous. He needs to remember few of us are math majors and the rest of us (engineers/computer majors) will not be doing calculus by hand in the field. Not recommended.

I took calculus at my highschool and got an A, yet Im having trouble with Mr. Diaz. He is extremely meticulous on his tests with format. I feel like he doesnt give enough points for actually understanding the concept. Offencive, no concern for a students individual situation and extremely short responces with questions. NO graph calc allowed :(

Diaz is a very straightforward professor. If you work hard you will do well, if you do not do the work, then you won't pass. At least he says from the beginning that it won't be easy and that you will have to spend a lot of time studying. Don't be surprised at 4+hrs of homework a day + study time when each day is like a regular week (Summer class).

Robert Diaz is by far the WORST PROFESSOR I have ever had. He doens't take time in class to go over problems, he's very fast paced, takes up too much time talking about his health problems, instead of focusing on math problems, and very disrespectful. I will never take his class again.

Robert is different~ I seldom talk to him but feel he tries to help and encourage his students without words. Tests are not difficult and he grades fair. You can "double" the final to improve your whole grade a lot.I always guess if he is an artist-typed person although he likes to repeat it's hard for him to draw a PERFECT line when graph~

I think his lectures and note sheets are tremendous, however more in class interaction with the students, i.e. letting them try examples while they are still in class, would be beneficial.

Diaz is by the far most the meticulous and competent of FullColl math faculty. I like the fact that he enjoys teaching math (may be a façade) and is approachable. I don?t like his exams. I have picked up a pattern: he plucks problems identical from his class notes and throws them in the exam. I feel this does a disservice to students.

Robert Diaz is my all time favorite professor. He is unique which makes class fun! He is more than helpful if you take the time to approach him. Robert knows when you put in the extra effort and it will pay off in the end. The group work helps to so you understand the material and his lecture notes are wonderful! He is adorable and funny

He's a poor teacher. He would go off topic frequently to talk about his personal life. He failed at communicating the concepts and class notes are all examples done by him, with no time taken for the students to try problems individually. He was somewhat hostile to questions.

Pretty good teacher he enjoys math and what he does.The class can be pretty hard because theres so much material to cover,but thats only because he knows you have to have a good understanding to move on to Calculus. Tests consist of slightly modified problems from the notes so listen up If you ask, he'll tell you what you need to know for the test.

Professor Diaz seems to enjoy what he teaches and although he has a keen sense of humor and often sidetracks during lectures, he still manages to lecture pretty well. This class is somewhat difficult and you might have to allow more study time than other classes. His tests are usually predictable if you do homework and notes thoroughly.

I've never been really good at math but he explained it in ways that I could understand and would gladly answer questions. He did sidetrack from lectures at times and said some innapropriate jokes but I did learn a lot from him and recommend him. All homework was online so you could try a problem again if you got it wrong the first time (awesome!)

Diaz is great. He types out notes for you and doesn`t grade hw. Your entire grade is based on exams and the final. BUT...he prepares you very well for the exams. He offers extra credit and makes learning fun. Attendance not mandatory. Class is relaxed and enjoyable. He is helpful with questions. Will take again for 250A.

Took a hybrid class with him and it ended up being pretty much entirely online. He is very laid back but I do not have much clarity in going to the next class, even after ending up with an A. I do not understand why he has so many good ratings. He is not fit to be a teacher... He's good with e-mails...

DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is honestly gets so off topic that you cannot even focus on the math lesson. All his jokes are very inappropriate, and he will get on your last nerves. He is so strict when it comes to attendance. He teaches well, but assigns a lot homework and attempts to tell so many jokes, that you will get unmotivated quickly. SAVE YOURSELF.

I'm taking Math 20 online now. (He DOES give a lot of h/w for Math 20 online.) Only taking this class, my hands are full. Had a tutor since Sep. Exam are every 2 wks. You DO need to be good at Math. Pearson Math Lab has a lot of errors, my tutor caught them & she is a retired teacher. You don't want to take his online class if Math is challenging.

Diaz really helps you understand math and explains clearly. Tips: ALWAYS do homework, it's online, you can always try again if you get it wrong (easy points!), ALWAYS come to class or you will get dropped, and ALWAYS study for everything throughout the semester because the final is cumulative. If you aren't a math person, take Diaz. He's the best!

Do NOT to take him if you struggle with Math. He doesn't "teach," anyone saying he does is providing false info. I took his online class. The Pearson book, My Math Lab & my tutor taught me. He might be a good teacher for on campus but not for online. Plus he paces during the midterm and final which is very nerve racking.

Most teachers have a teaching degree and know how to teach. He is very very very very passionate about math but expects you to know the material rather than teach you it. If you aren't good at math don't take him but if you are good at math and googling stuff take him.

Robert is my all time favorite professor. I've always hated math and he made me believe that hating math was a choice. Every time I had a question he answered it. The lessons were to the point and the worksheets he made for us made for really great notes. Ignore the bad reviews TAKE ROBERT.

Diaz is an AMAZING professor. Goes above & beyond to help students understand calc. Notes are thorough so NEVER miss lecture, & take note of every detail. Exams are very difficult, but possible to complete. Really funny- WARNING: some find his humor off putting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you plan on taking higher math. Be prepared to work your butt off!

Very passionate. Time consuming work so just start it right when it's assigned and you'll be fine. Tests are pretty easy if you understand what's going on in class. He goes over what will be on the test so write it down and study. Provides textbook online free. Just take notes in class, do homework, study, get help when needed and you'll be fine.

He gives random group projects. Lectures are not clear and he'll give homework for sections before he teaches about them! Also for our tests he didn't have them made in advanced so he could only give a "rough estimate" on what would be on the test. Who does that?

Robert is everything. Without a doubt he loves being a professor. Everyone that is hating on him expected a good grade with little effort. Robert expects your best, and gives credit where credit is due. Taking one of Roberts classes will leave you with more than math skills. I recommend him 100 percent! Take him as many times as you can!

He expects you to automatically know the answer to a question he gives you. When and if you see him during his office hours to get help he says to go to the tutoring center, and even if you do that he still will not help you. What notes you take in class is on the test but is almost never like the online homework. He is a hard and pickey grader.

Robert Diaz is a great professor for the math department. His notes packet really helps student in understanding the lecture. Very brilliant and loves his job. BUT he is definitely a weeder professor. Very hard grading. Makes you work for it, but all in all he's a great professor. Recommended if you take school seriously.

Assigns homework for chapters before he teaches it. Frequent tests. Random group projects that don't count for much, but are incredibly time consuming. Lecture incredibly NOT HELPFUL, skips over things saying "you don't need to know this" but then it shows up on the test. Tried my hardest until I had no choice but to withdraw. Worst math class ever

Overall he's a good guy who really does have good intentions. He's quirky, funny, and really chill about stuff. If you have any questions, you raise your hand and he'll explain to you to his best of his ability. Typically he does a good job in explaining, but sometimes he can kind of confuse you. If you use MyStatLab, it comes with the textbook.

He is not a bad guy. He gets off topic at times and he is such a dork. He gets mad at himself and embarrasses himself which actually made the class a bit more funnier. He does offer help actually just go to his office hours he will help! I would not take stats ever again, for me it was a bit hard, but I pulled through. Good teacher.

Really great class, Diaz explains the material thoroughly and clearly. You'll work hard for your grade, but it will be worth it. Homework isn't gone over in class but he is willing to help in office hours. He likes to joke in class, though his humor is a bit random. Maybe not for everyone, but one of the best math teachers I've ever had.

Not very helpful, lectures are short and often end an hour early. Material isn't very hard but he is awkward and lectures are boring. He offers extra credit homework assignments that count towards tests, in addition to a sheet of notes on tests / final exam. Tl;Dr: Will you get a high grade? Probably. Will you learn anything? Nope.

Diaz's class was sorta slow, often ended early (which was great if you were getting bored) but the explanation of the material was clear. The jokes are often awkward, and I think the students laughed more to the awkwardness than how funny the joke was. Put in effort, do the homework and extra credit, and you'll be okay in the class.

Prof. Diaz is a very helpful either inside and outside the class. You need to approach him. You have to do each homework practice in the math lab and you will be fine. I got A in each of the exams because I practiced all the questions he gave us to practiced.

Prof. Diaz's class isn't hard, but you'll spend a lot of time looking up how to do things because he's not always clear. He gets off topic a lot, is beyond awkward and can be pretty offensive for the sake of being funny. It's been difficult just to attend class, but I do it. If you take him, be prepared for a lot of secondhand embarrassment.

By far the most frustrating professor that I have had yet. He dropped over half of the class, is very strict on attendance and isn't clear in explaining concepts. He made me and my group start our project over because he said our topic wasn't acceptable and told us to look at the project outline for ideas but our topic was something that was listed

Not the worst professor I've taken, but not the best. He's awkward and gets off topic most of the time. Tries to make jokes, but falls short 90% of the time. His notes aren't always clear so it requires you to use the functions in mystatlab to help. Tends to not teach everything on the homework, but never puts anything he doesn't teach on the test.

All of those looking for Easy A's, he's the one you're looking for honestly. What I suggest is doing a problem or two each homework. I would do the first couple of chapters since they're the easiest. The first two exams were at home. He drops the lowest one. You can write a whole cheat sheet. I got a B but literally did nothing towards this class.

Not clear on material, so expect to self-learn all material. Also expect 60 problems a week of hw and each of those questions have 3-10 parts.(will take you hours upon hours) Worst class. Avoid if you can. He will drop you 3rd week if you don't well anyways. I don't think he cares about the class.

I'm sure Professor Diaz is a cool guy one on one, but in the class he's extremely frustrating. His teaching style is just to watch him solve a problem versus teaching you unless you ask him to explain. In various cases he tends to advise you too "youtube it" because "our generation" relies on youtube. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER!

Odd class. It's true, he does not have us use graphing calculators. We use the app "R Studio" which, if you miss any notes for the commands, goodluck. There is 0 information to help you on the internet OR through tutors. Also had to remember the commands for the exams. BUT, he dropped the lowest exam and 4 homework scores. I was failing and got a C

Prof Diaz is quirky--his humor made stats a lot more entertaining! But I struggled so much in his class. There's a LOT of homework required so if you're taking a demanding course load reconsider taking him this sem. He's a good teacher and if you go to office hours he can help a lot, but the tests are pretty hard. If you're not a math mind beware!

Please do not take this course. He is the worst professor on campus. He was fashionably late, didn't teach, and when questions were asked he asked "its so easy, what's not to get." So many people complained about him that he got moved to another campus and the last three weeks of class were canceled. I don't know why they are bringing him back.

Teacher gives long-winded lectures that are quite frankly boring. There are three tests that will make or break your grade, I found the first to be the hardest. The class is tough but I found it to be fun being that I enjoy math. Everything is online so access to a computer is important. Don't take the class if you aren't motivated to pass.

He has office hours and if you never show up to class it will get harder over time. if someone failed his class it's because they stopped coming to class once a week. He is available too

I'm fine with statistics but he uses a software named R that's really hard if you've never coded .You will spend hours just tryning to figure out the right codes to put in R. There is no how to , just videos that dont pertain to the actual topics were working on very vague.

He understand not everyone is a math major and makes math easy for everyone. Has weeks built in semester to catch up, really wanted everyone to pass. He really asks for the bare minimum. You can use cheat sheet for exams and he uploads textbook to canvas/no homework so you dont need to buy anything. Super caring. Highly-HIGHLY recommend

One of the best professors I have taken. It was an online math class due to the pandemic, but he really helped his students pass. If the student did not pass, it was due to not doing any homework, reading the textbook, or just staying stagnant. Homework was not turned in or graded, which I really liked because it was less stressful + learned more.

Professor Diaz is an amazing professor of probability and statistics. He uses a software name r studio and it is not for everyone but it's very easy if you practice it more. He is understanding and makes math easy for students. Our final was a group project easy A in his class. Take his homework is only two assignments per week.

Provides note packets each chapter that show you exactly how things work. He likes to use R Studio which will do any statistical problems for you if you follow the packet instructions. He's a goofy guy, and you can tell how much he cares about his students. We had one in person exam, an online exam with unlimited retakes, and a final group project.

He is really easy for online calc1 if you can teach yourself through the book or youtube. examples from the book/ given homework questions are quiz and exam questions. even if you suck at calculus you can get at least 50% on the tests just by doing the homework ( he inspects all of it at midterm and final) and he adds that to your actual exam score

Took Calc 2 online, the best way to describe this professor is fine. Weekly check ins and is responsive to questions. The online exams are simple so long as you are up to date with the readings. The in person exams are extremely difficult but he is generous with points. My biggest complaint was that it did feel like I was mostly teaching myself.

Took him in-person for Trigonometry. Make sure your math skills from previous classes are not rusty. Homework is very light; however, he places a clear emphasis on making it look neat and with proper notation, formatting, and neatness. Don't be afraid to correct him or ask politely for clarification if he makes mistakes in lectures or notes.

Very nice and intelligent, but a terrible teacher. Has a packet projected onto the wall and simply underlines definitions, and does maybe 2 problems. No explanations or examples in class, just makes us follow along with the packet. Tests are extremely difficult, and his class is not for anyone who expects the 1st year math they signed up for.

Took him for my stats class and passed easily, he is super nice and seems like a quiet person but is very knowledgable of what he teaches. Everything is on the projector and board that needs to be done so nothing is confusing at all, it's pretty simple. Professor Diaz has a unique teaching style that takes some getting used to. The R Studio software can be tricky, but the note packets are very helpful. With practice and using Unstuck ai for study prep, the class is manageable.

Professor Diaz was great! I took 120 online over Winter Intersession. The quick pace was a challenge, but having a friendly professor made it a lot more pleasant. He cares and was very personable. The course was well organized and the grading criteria was clear and fair. Pro tip: check out a calculator for free from the campus library.

Math classes are typically easy for me. Even calculus which I'm taking now is easier than this professor. The lectures consist of confusing lengthy definitions of theorems without any explanation or many examples to illustrate theorems. Homework is a 26% of grade but is difficult to complete on time. Class was self taught, often times would over complicate a problem and take at one point 20min to complete a problem. Ton of homework, exams are on the easier side however ended up taking the first exam by the time midterms were going on in my other classes. 2nd and 3rd exam were a week apart.

It's easy to get lost during lecture because he goes examples and proofs quickly. But he is a great professor that clearly wants you to succeed. Expects you to give it your all, will call you out if you don't. He would also highlight the sections in our math handouts that will be on the test. Lots of HW. He's not for everyone though.

By far the worst professor I've ever taken. Around 150 daily homework questions, constant sidetracking and awkward personal stories during already confusing lectures, and then being uncertain on what he'll even be testing us on. He knows the subject well, but teaching is not his strong suit.

He knows a lot but can't teach he goes of topic and as much as you pay attention he just doesn't make sense. You have to attend class and even if you have a good reason for missing he will still tell you that he can drop you when he wants. Very sarcastic and he is nice but honestly I wouldn't recommend this this professor at all for stats.

Prof is nice but extremely awkward and weird. Always goes off topic and makes weird comments about himself. Attendance is extremely important, he pays attention to it and will drop you if you miss too many classes. Exams will affect your grade a lot. Overall I wouldn't recommend this professor especially if you struggle with math.

Every time on the way to class I would hope the bus got T-boned so I would not have to go calculus with this professor, terrible at teaching and terribly long workload, This is the only math class that has made me cry MULTIPLE times, gave up with less than a month left in the semester and dropped, life was significantly better after, DO NOT TAKE!!!

By far one of the worst professors I have ever had. Doesn't teach at all. His posted lectures aren't even him teaching, and he assigns a bunch of homework, which doesn't help for the exams. I thought was one of the worst classes but looking back, this prof is ok compared to some other math professors. Lecture sometimes go off topic. Covers a lot of sample problems which is good. You still need to constantly practice though since its a math class. Staying on top of homework is important since it piles up quickly.
