Mr. Dwarika is very funny. He is quite helpful when some students DO NOT understand anything. I really am waiting for him to just freak out in class. Helps everyone understand the material which is always good in a math class.

Math isn't easy, but if you ask the right questions in class he will explain it very well. good teacher.

I cannot agree with the accent comment. He is clear in all he says and does. The only problem is that his class is incredibly dull which makes it difficult to pay attention.

He's awesome. I took him for 0024 and now 1033. He's ALWAYS willing to help. He's clear in how he teaches, and is willing to help a student whenever needed. I plan on taking him again in the fall. It's hard to find a good math professor..he's great.

He was very clear in his teaching and always had an easier way of solving problems. Didn't teach you things that wasn't tested or you did not need in the next classes. If you go to class,listen, and do your homework you will breeze through his class.

I have taken Mr. Dwarika for two math classes so far. He is a great teacher, very helpful and gives a lot of extra credit or bonus quizzes. This will help boost your grade a lot. I didnt really like math untill i took his class. He finds a way to make it interesting. Great teacher!!!!

He's an easy grader. Just put down any work on a test question and you'll get half credit. He also gave us 5 extra points on each test, if we did an extra credit assignment, very easy. He tends to go very fast in class. Make sure you ask questions.

Mr Dwarika is a great math teacher and is always willing to help you improve. I hate math and usually get a C in all math classes but I got an A in his. If he can see that you are trying to do well then you will get a decent grade.

Very helpful, reads body language and can tell when you aren' getting it and will ask where you got lost at. Gives extra credit on the test as in bonus question. Available after class to answer questions if needed.

he is a good teacher. if someone doesn't like his class then they are probably just REALLY bad at math! he can go through things a little too fast sometimes, but he knows that & has no problems slowing down if you ask. i had an average of 103 on his tests. always gives extra credit. though i did catch some mistakes he made every now & then...

Well i HATE math and this class was no exception, i struggled all the way through but he helped me, especially towards the end when i was almost sure to fail. He will go over any problems you have if you just ask!

Great teacher, he pays attention to who is there, even though he doesn't take attendance. If you never come to class and whine about your grade he wont have sympathy for you but if he knew you were there he is very understanding and willing to help. I SUCK at math and he made it simple for me to understand. I highly recommend!

This class is all about homework. If you are willing to sacrifice your personal life and actually do it, take him. If not, look somewhere else. Definetily not the easiest class ever; however, it is a math class.

BEST TEACHER EVER! I am horrible at math & after his class, i actually enjoy math. He is so willing to help you succeed, as long as you try. He always explains things in class if someone doesn't understand. AND he doesn't make you feel dumb or that your wasting his time. For once in my life i actually understood. I am taking ALL my math with him!!

Anyone who has rated this guy less than satisfactory has either not tried or not cared. I suck at math, and he was willing to take time out of his day to ensure that I understood the material better than ever. He is straightforward and doesn't take BS off of anyone, regardless of how pretty you may think you are or how much more entitled.

I think Prof. Dwarika is a good teacher probaby th I have evehad in math. I was not the greatest in math, but I got an A in his class. I attended class, asked questions when not sure and did all the homework. I actually started to like math a little. I think it is important to do homework and learn from your mistakes and don't be shy to ask.

Outstanding teacher, as long as you ask the questions he will do the best to his ability to help you understand. You get out of this class what you put into it. If you need to study, then study, and don't blame Dwarika for your failure.

Prof. Dwarkia is a solid instructor. He went through each section working problems step-by-step, explaining things clearly. He is by his own confession, "annoyingly detailed," which is perfect for my learning style. I recommend you buy the solutions manual! It was of great help while doing the homework! I'm taking Dwarika again this fall!

Prof dwarika is an amazing teacher. He explains multiple ways there are to solve an equation if there,is more than one... He is extremely helpful and approachable. This is the second class I have had him as a prof in and I will definately take my other courses w him as the prof if he's teaching them

Pretty easy class... didn't study and still have an 88. He is a great professor that shows every detail for each equation.

Best math teacher I've had yet! A nice and bright teacher who has great experience with helping to understand hard concepts and remembering formulas. I wish I could take him for every class! The only thing he asks you to stay on top of is attendance and not texting in class!

Very awesome teacher. To pass the class, just read up on the section he'd cover the day before, do all the examples as you're reading, and go to class. He explains the material a little different from the book, but it makes a lot more sense coming from him. He's a nice guy and appreciates people who actually try.

Good teacher, clear in his lectures, and fair in his grades. He's firm, but you know what to expect from him. If you do the odd numbered HW (optional, not required) you'll pass with an A. I had 100s on all my tests except one (97%) and on the final, I got a 96.6% instead. Easy A class if you do your part. Show your work on tests for partial credit.

I really enjoyed his class. As someone who struggled with math, it was nice to have a teacher that explained the material well. Just do your homework, study, and you'll do fine on the tests. I made an A, but I really had to work for it. He is one of the best math teachers I've had, and I highly recommend him.

I hated math before I had his class and now I love it. Amazing professor who really knows how to teach. He's comical, beyond intelligent, and an overall nice guy. I took him for 3 math classes in a row and am planning on taking him for 2 more.

He was a good teacher, although he taught 3 sections in one lecture. If you are struggling in math, probably not the one for you since he goes so fast. He assigns a ton of homework but only checks for completion. Skipping class is not an option but he does post all the notes online. He is not afraid to kick you out if you disrespect him.

Great professor. By far the best math teacher I've had. There is a lot of homework from your workbook, but it's required for all mat1033 classes at DSC. As long as you asks questions, do your homework, and study you will pass.

This professor was hands-down amazing. He didn't leave one bit of information out, and thoroughly explained how to work problems out. He added in how equations are used in the real world. Has lots of homework in an accelerated class, but it makes you fully know the subject. Exams are long, but easy.

He explains everything in extreme detail, without missing a thing. He usually posts his notes online on the same day of the lesson. He goes over the review with the students and always makes time for questions. I took Intermediate Algebra with him, which is an extremely easy class, and scored 100% on almost all the tests. Great teacher!

Great professor!!! He is very detailed in his lectures and makes sure that everyone knows the material! His tests aren't hard at all. The homework assignments are long and required for a grade but they make sure you know the test material. Chooses easier questions for tests. Always replied to emails right away and has great office hours!

Dr. Dwarika is great only for those who are very good in math. Homework is optional, but DO IT if you wanna pass the class. During the lecture, he explains only examples from the book. But on the test you will get anything from the homework, and they are a lot harder than the lecture problems. If you take him, be ready work a lot by yourself.

He's a really nice guy a very good teacher and explains things very efficiently. Attendance is important to him as well as homework. He's a really laid-back Professor but he does not like it when he feels the class does not care or is not giving 100% effort. If you work hard the class will be effortless for you and you'll enjoy his class.

dwarika is a great professor. would recommend to any engineering major. a little tough, but only because he actually wants you to be ready for calculus.

I took two classes with this professor and he is amazing! Very clear class schedule, gives participation credit on test/quizzes. Easy to learn the subjects for the tests and gives a lot of great advice and help when needed. Would definitely recommend for any math course especially higher level.

Hands down the best professor Ive had so far. He makes math simple, and thats coming from someone who has always hated it. He will anwser all of your questions and respects those who actually put effort. Show up to class and try your best and you will find yourself succeeding in this class.

Straight forward STA2023. The videos assigned in Pearson Lab were a bit lengthy but a quick google search + YouTube helped me find more to the point clips. Don't buy the more expensive TI-84 as the TI-83 works fine. Whenever I had an issue with the work I found Robert Dwarika answered the phone or replied and was super friendly and knowledgeable.

He was easily the best math professor I have ever had. If you have to take college algebra, I seriously recommend Dwarkia. I am not good at math and he helped me understand it so much better than anyone ever has.

Best math prof! He relates material to everyday life. Tests are from the textbook. Quizzes a bit hard but not too bad. Explains things in several ways and allows you to choose which one you like. If you don't understand he takes the concept back to middle school level. Don't interpret this as him calling you an idiot! He's trying to help, it works.

He's obviously very smart and good at explaining the material. There are a few group assignments worth a big part of your grade. The tests are fair; he doesn't put any surprises in. If you pay attention in class you'll be fine.

His pre-calc class is wonderful! I love his lectures. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I do know a few people struggling though, so I know he's not for everyone. Group projects are easy enough and tests aren't impossible to pass, just study and do homework. He also replaces your lowest test score with the final and offers extra credit.

He is the best professor i have ever taken for a Math course. Took him online and he was always available if you needed him. He responds quickly to emails and is very understanding. There is lots of home work and quizzes when you take the accelerated course but he makes everything go smooth. Highly recommend taking him.

Material was hard, but he made it fun. Made us answer our own questions so we'd learn, and he'd show us how the material's used in real-world situations. Four tests (lowest grade dropped), three projects, several untimed homework quizzes, and a final. Come to class! He will explain things and answer questions far better than the book!

He is a great professor and gives life lessons within the lectures, but if you are not strong in math, this course is challenging because of all the tests that make up your grade.

The course was super easy online but the tests do weigh very heavily on your grade. 100 pts for each chapter test and 200 for the final exam out of a total of 1000. Best advice would be to do all the homework as cushion and try hard to score highly on the tests. also he responds quickly to emails. good luck!

I had issues with the first chapter test which was out of my control - professor unlocked it for me as many times as needed until the issue resolved itself. He responds fast to emails about hw and offers resources to help. He genuinely cares about the success of his students and it shows. The tests look just like the hw so make sure you do those!

He is my favorite math professor! I've taken him for all my math since I started my degree. He is very understanding and is VERY willing to help. He will not move forward in the lecture until everyone understands

I really enjoyed this prof. I had him for every math class (by choice). Math can be overwhelming but he wont move on till you understand just make sure to speak up! very caring and funny man

The prof. makes it clear that this is an online course, videos are provided to help. He is not a tough grader at all for projects or discussion. Participation is most important and he makes that apparent!
