Pretty much the best teacher ever. Really relates to his students. I saw him at the midnight showing of star wars episode 3 opening night last year, he was there with all his punk rocker friends. It was good times.

Hes the friggin man basically.. he always tells stories that relate to his material so it makes it so easy to remember it. his tests are hard but he lets u make up for it...

Took him for 401 and 553.. love of my life. Best professor i have had. so easy to relate to and really explains the information so that you actually understand it, and not just memorize it for a test. take as many classes with this man as possible, he is amazing.

Bobby, like many have said, is a fun and engaging teacher. He has a tendency to ramble a bit, but that con is outweighed by all the pros of him. Defintely go to class and pay attention (with him, why wouldn't you?) because he DOES use lecture-only material on the test. If you study a decent amount, you should be okay.

Bobby is the man. seriously, i will take any class he ever teaches, he is downright hilarious, everyone loves him and all the girls think hes cute. He is an awesome teacher and his lectures are so much fun, I look forward to going to his class everyday. TAKE HIM!!!! hes the****. i wish all of my profs. were like him.

Really interesting class... I always looked forward to attending. Great teacher... explains things throughly and keeps the class intertained. tests are pretty hard but if you put the time in and know most of the stuff you will do fine

Most AMAZING professor I've ever had. He makes you WANT to pay attention and learn. He's brilliant. I could listen to him talk all day, all night. Study from his clear as day notes and you'll be fine. I wish he would teach all my Psych classes because he's amazing, incredible, smart and really really adorable.

Bobby is probably the best professor I have had so far! He is passionate about the material and really keeps the class interested and involved. He is simply amazing and if you havent had him...you need to! He makes the notes easy to understand and the tests arent hard, as long as you study.

counseling. really, its a little bit scary how amazing this guy is. i've never met anyone who didn't think he was the best ever. you learn so much from him because not only is he a super intelligent practicing clinician.. but he is tons of fun, so helpful, and so realistic. if you go to UNH, you need to find a way to take a class with bobby!

He's an awesome teacher, really easy to understand and the class isn't hard if you go to it and pay a little attention. The classes aren't that boring either, he usually does experiments with people in the class, so it's pretty funny. The exams aren't that bad either.

By far one of the best teachers I have had. He was extremely helpful and had a great personality that made him easy to pay attention to. Bobby made class fun and interesting and I looked forward to going to lectures. I highly recommend him if you have the opportunity.

Awesome professor. Keeps lectures interesting and has some hilarious stories to share. He's very helpful and available to students whenever. I definitely recommend taking a class with him whenever possible.

Fair and Fun

Bobby's the best PSYCH prof @ UNH hands down. Very understanding. 401 covers entire text (14 chapters) and he made it very easy to remember given such a large amount of material which at time can be dry. Gives great anecdotes and is very approachable. Tests are multiple choice but are doable if you study. I'd def recommend taking his class.

Bobby is the best professor at UNH hands down. I took 2 of his classes & would take more if I could. He believes in challenging his students while making his classes fun and interesting. I never wanted to miss a class! Forensics tests were not too difficult but did require a good amount of studying & he did not take attendance but did extra credit

best psychology professor at unh. and best professor i have had so far. makes sure you understand everything and is extremely approachable, funny, and makes class interesting!

Eckstein is the best PSYCH professor at UNH and probably the best professor at UNH period. He is funny and never has a dull moment in one of his lectures. I would love to take another class with him. Not to mention HOT!!!

best teacher i've ever had. friendly & helpful. class isn't mandatory, but some questions on the exams are from class activities. i never wanted to skip because he was so cute & such a great professor.

Bobby is the best of the best! He keeps your interest in class and is always willing to help you out. He supplements his lectures with real life stories from his experiences. He does take attendance, but I never skipped a class because I never WANTED to. Awesome guy. Oh, and he's beautiful too, just as an added bonus.

The BEST teacher at UNH, and I had a completely different major. I loved his style of teaching so much I took another one of his classes senior year for the hell of it. I was a PreVet & took Forensic Psychology with him, AMAZING PROFESSOR. Extremely intelligent, fascinating material, great story teller, fair grader, fair exams/assessment, a 10!

BEST CLASS EVER!! Bobby really enjoys teaching this subject and it makes it so much easier to learn. He uses modern examples that make studying really easy. There is 2 papers, 4 exams and the final is not accumulative. He is easily approachable if you have a question. TAKE HIS CLASS, HE IS AWESOME!!

Amazing teacher. I doubt I'll find a teacher that I like more than Bobby. He uses real life examples and tells funny stories. It's usually hard for me to pay attention in other classes but I have never had any trouble paying attention in his class. As long as you go to class you'll get a good grade. I highly recommend taking a class with Bobby.

Good class, covered material and switched up lectures occasionally to make it interesting. Sports references especially interesting.. T.O. Mike Tyson etc.

Bobby is a very cool professor, very fair with grading and funny. Just read chapters ahead of time just like he saids and he gives 3 exams and theres no finals. Final is count as one of the exam which is taken during finals week. Go to class, is pretty interesting&random labs which counts for 10% of your grade attend 2/3 of it and get full credit!

Bobby is the man. I would be amazed if encountered another professor like him. Even if the topic of discussion is boring, he will make your time worth while. I didn't buy the book and I got a solid B. Anyone reading this, debating whether or not they should take any class he is teaching...do it. You will not be disappointed.

I LOVE BOBBY! He was such a great teacher! The class was always interesting. You don't have to come to class all slides are online but, after a test he usually has "in class assignment" and thats when he takes attendance. He has 3 or 4 the last on is extra credit so keep going to class, you should be going anyway. All around a GREAT PROFESSOR!!!!

Young, intelligent, entertaining teacher. He's also enthusiastic, which makes students excited to learn. Very interesting class, helps you understand psych on another level. Chili pepper because he looks like Ezra Fitz. Take any of his classes, he'll be a new favorite!

Bobby is great! He explains things so well and clear and keeps me so engaged. His examples are really great and keep me interested in the topics. I already feel prepared for the first test just by listening to him lecture.

After many other classes, even though Psychology is not my major, this remains one of the best classes I have taken at college and it is because Bobby is such a fantastic teacher. I took this class my freshman year. The readings are helpful, but not always necessary. His lectures are fantastic! If you have a choice, take it with Bobby!

One of the best professors I've had at UNH so far. His classes are not boring, he does post lecture outlines which are SO helpful when it comes to taking notes in class. If you miss a class you will miss a lot of information, but totally worth going. Beyond helpful, and wants his students to succeed.

He is honestly a great professor. He's pretty easy and will clarify anything up for you. He makes sure you understand the material. Doesn't take attendance except for 3 times throughout the whole semester. He is the reason I am minoring in psychology and I want to take more of his classes. His exams are multiple choice and pretty straight forward.

My favorite teacher out of all the psych professors at UNH. He explains everything so well and is wicked helpful. I would definitely recommend him

He's a great professor but very dry and sometimes his "college aged" jokes are a little over the line. I get the feeling he thinks he's overly intelligent and LOVES using uncommon words that are unnecessary. Great guy when you talk to him. He's very willing to help, he's just hard to listen to.

I absolutely love Bobby, he is such a good professor and is so helpful!! I am in his Personality class now and I love it as well. You have to work hard and pay attention in class, but he makes it easy with his awesome lectures. LOVE HIM

Took PSYC401 with him and would love to take another class. Great professor who really cares about his students and wants to help them succeed. Always offered after every test to go over individually with students if needed. Take a class with Bobby and you will love it!!

My senior year at UNH and Bobby is my favorite professor I've ever had. I'm taking Forensic Psych with him currently and also have taken his Personality class. He is passionate, knowledgeable, engaging, and hilarious during his lectures and shares his own experiences. It's important to go to class if you want to do well but he makes it worth it!

Bobby is my favorite professor at UNH. If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes, I would highly recommend it. His lectures are always interesting and he's a great guy. For just591, there is 2 exams and a paper, no textbooks. Amazing class if you are into psychology, criminal justice system, and forensics.

Bobby is wicked cool and I learned so much about myself in his personality class. This class will change how you see the world and Bobby is the perfect guy to teach it. Definitely use your computer for notes though because he doesn't use lecture slides (only lecture outlines available on canvas).

I had Bobby for Intro to Psych, Abnormal Behavior, and I will have him for Personality next semester. Honestly the best teacher I have ever had. He has lots of experience in the psychology and mental health/illness field so has great knowledge. He is very funny and engages the students. I would take classes only with him if I could.

I LOVE HIM. If you ever need to take a class and he's teaching it, make sure you get it with him. He is so nice, understanding, accessible outside of class, and he actually cares about you and your grade. What's even more great is that he is passionate about the subject he teaches, and has so much experience in Psychology already. Lots of stories!!

LOVE HIM! He is one of my favorite professors by far; he's a great guy, the class was the most interesting one I've taken (abnormal psych), his lectures are incredibly interesting too, and you'll do well as long as you go to class and study a normal amount.

The literal best teacher i have had at UNH, i look for the classes he is teaching every semester just so i can have him again. He has some really awesome stories to tell from when he worked in prisons, hospitals, and as a therapist. Really fun class, the highlight of my week

His lectures are the best, super engaging, makes it entertaining, tells lots of stories about his life, and he shows that he really cares. You could go to this man with anything. It's 2019. I'm 33. The last time I had a class with Bobby was in 2007. I still think about this guy and his classes. He's part of the reason I'm in the field of psychology today. His lectures were amazing, he's a great teacher, and I genuinely looked forward to his classes. Take any classes you can with this guy, he's a gem.

easily my favorite professor at UNH. bobby always makes lectures fun and interesting, just wish he used slideshows instead of a printable note outline. overall, abnormal behavior with him was a great class and i definitely will be taking another one of his classes.

I took Psych401 asynchronous and Professor Eckstein's lectures were still very enjoyable to watch. He is also very accessible by email & happy to help students. He is passionate about what he teaches and teaches the information in a very clear manner. Exams were not too bad but you definitely need to study a good amount to understand the material.

Bobby has been my favorite professor so far at UNH. His lectures are interesting and he makes going to class fun. Your grade is based off of a midterm, final, and some group activities, but they are all easy if you pay attention. He is very understanding and willing to work with you if you approach him.

I created an account just to say how incredible Bobby is. Counseling has been the best class experience ever, and it is largely due to the style and structure. More discussion than lectures, 3 papers, no exams/final, and only a few quizzes on the readings. It was a 3 hour class at 9am, I hate the mornings, but I was always so excited for class

It's safe to say that Bobby is my favorite professor I've had at UNH. Being a psych major, he taught me so many useful things related to what I want to do and gave some useful life advice along the way as well. Would 1000% recommend taking a class with him!

Although it was lecture heavy, they were really interesting, and he explains things very clearly despite not using digital presentation materials and lectures on technology. He is extremely responsive and helpful with feedback, especially for papers!
