Fiore is a very funny great teacher.. If you are late just once you will regret it.. Be on time and obey the laws that Fiore lays down. Or you like others will suffer the wrath of the Great Robert Fiore..He is a very cool guy... Likes to talk to the classmates all the time and we have a good time..

I had Fiore in high school and in college. First off, Math 145 is a pretty hard course that crams an awful lot of material into a semester's worth of work. You MUST keep up with the homework in order to do well. He is a just teacher and explains all of the material thoroughly. He is a good man.

very good teacher, tells you from day 1 show up, do your homework, and actually listen you will do good, if you still have trouble ask him IN CLASS to go over it he feels it is fair for everyone to hear what he has to say so just ask he WILL go over it and not just put it off, he seems laid back which is not a bad thing but dont get lazy!

HW + Attendance + classwork = success Be on time to class every day and do all of your hw to completion. HW is graded and doing all of it is the only way to do well in the class.

I can remmember the instructor saying numerous times to be on time to class. I do not remember the instructor being rude to any students, but I guess each persons perception is different and I am sure how they are doing in class plays a factor.

Fiore was an awesome teacher. Before I took his class I did terrible in math, and in his class i got an A and i got a 100 on almost all of his tests. Show up on time, do your hw and pay attention and it's an easy A.

I failed at math through highschool, so i did not have high hopes for college math. Somehow though, he taught in a way that was perfectly comprehensible to me! I ACED everything in his class! Very helpful, math has never been my strongest subject. Attendance is a must, don't miss classes, or you'll miss a lot of material. H.w is mandatory for this class bc there is a lot of homework quizes that are worth more of your grade than your exams. You can fail the exams, & if you still do your homework you can get a final grade of a B or ^.

I did not like Fiore. I felt that he was somewhat hostile towards me. He seems to play favorites. I thought this course was somewhat difficult. I hated that he made you do homework by having pop quizzes on it. Otherwise, he can be very helpful. Nonetheless, I definitely would have taken another professor.

I took Math after 9 year of no math! It was very had first 2 weeks to catch up but after that I felt so happy I took Fiore's class. I always thought that I'm not good at math and only my persistence helps me but this time actually I started to think about Math major:) Very helpful if you come over to his office, he even finds you if you are in Lab.

When it comes to grading he's probably the most fair professor for that class. If you do your homework and get 100's on all the homework quizzes you can do very well even if u bomb all the tests. Each homework counts as 16% of your grade. I don't really think he is a great teacher though, he kind of expects you to already know the material

Rob is a fast pace teacher. He moves through the material but is easy to understand. He is willing to help anyone out if you ask!!! Tries to make the class entertaining because he knows you don't want to be in there. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN.

Mr. Fiore is the best math teacher I've ever had. He gives you so much practice on the material that it becomes second nature. There are a lot of quizzes, most of which are homework quizzes, so it's absolutely necessary that you do all of your homework. Also, it helps that he's relaxed and has a great sense of humor.

Hands down a great professor. Fiore truly cares about his students and enjoys seeing them succeed. Pretty much explains math is just practice, and practice makes perfect. So he barely lectures, just has you practice problems-which does help! Do the homework and you'll do fine in the class. Highly recommend taking any of his classes!

he's super good at math, a wise ass, and tells it how it is. If you don't go to class, he will not care about you at all and he will even tell you that. Take responsibility in your work and you'll pass with high grades. He will work with anyone, but if you say something you didn't put thought into, he will let you hear it. Took him twice. awesome.

Calc II is no walk in the park. Do all of your homework for Rob will give quizzes on the homework questions. He's very willing to give you as much help as you need. a little on the rude side sometimes,but I'm sure unintentionally & he might call you out in front of the class. You need to do the homework to pass his class, the popquizzes are super easy if you do because... they're on the homework! You literally take the answer from one question and throw it on. He's super humerous and tells some funny stories, but his lessons are clear and he makes sure you understand it. He gives review packets, just do the work!

Math has always been my worst subject, so much so that I graduated a year late from high school because I was missing my required math credits. Rob took someone like me and not only helped me understand what he was teaching, but enabled me to pass a math class with an A. He's an amazing, funny professor, and I'll be taking him again next semester.

Rob is a good, could be great, teacher but his personality overshadows that. He is a very arrogant person who likes to call students out on their failures in class. He is very clear with what needs to be done to get the grade you want and assigns and grades homework every night. Overall, I appreciated his help but I wouldn't take again.

Homework takes quite sometime, not because he give you a ton of problems but because the material itself is difficult. do the homework, quizzes based on hw, and test based on hw/quizzes. overall a great teacher, willing to stay for extra help, pretty lenient. other than that, a class made easy by an awesome professor. i would take again.

I really have enjoyed this class, Robert is a very good instructor and won't stand there lecturing for an hour then expect you to know the material. What he does is 10 minutes of a lecture, max, and then you do about 100 problems of the subject, this helps so you can get feedback if not following. Rob is a caring guy, he will take time to help you. His stories are hilarious and they have a solid point. The class is progressive, at first it is easy so take advantage and score high on the first test because it does get a lot harder. The homework is intense at times and the extra credit for the test is overwhelming but worth the 6 points.

Rob is one of the 2 best math professors at brookdale (lincroft)! He gives a lot of help and wants you to PASS literally . Gives homework quiz's is an easy 100 as long as you do your homework, homework every night, doesn't take more then 30 minutes to complete. Doing homework is a huge part of learning for this course, if you do every homework its almost impossible to fail. Class is never boring, he tells jokes all the time and doesn't talk the whole class time.

The best math professor Ive ever had! I took him for 136 & 021 at the same time. 021 I failed twice before taking it with rob. I was horrible at math and he taught me that I wasnt. This man is one of the only professors here that I genuinely loved. I was admitted to a psych ward early in the semester, he was understanding and helped me in my first year. Takes no garbage from anyone, approachable, and full of stories. He wants his students to pass with an A rather than master the material, which is great if u hate math!

Second time taking the course. So much easier this time. Homework was the quizzes and tests.

I worked really hard to get an A in this class but the online content is AMAZING. The lectures have a lecturer writing on the slides to explain the concepts. There are step by step videos on how to do the labs. There's a lot of material to do and submit (including homework, I scanned in all of mine) but I felt very prepared for the tests.

Literally the best teacher ever! I wish he taught more classes because he is so motivating and supportive for all the students! You do need to do your homework and that was my practice and preparation for the test. I got an A in math015 and passed the bootcamp 021 mostly from what I learned from him. He might be the best online professor I've ever taken at BCC out of 10 online classes. He is so on top of everything. Great communication even during the weekend. He seems understanding for the hard-working students. However, requires a lot of HW but trust me its all for your own good. Do your HW and you will pass the tests. His feedbacks are great

Best math professor I've had at BCC. Really cuts to the chase and doesn't teach "fluff" and takes the exam problems directly from HW or class. A little condescending and defensive of a guy but very fair. No nonsense, uses 100% of class time, no surprises on exams. Do the HW for your own good. Would recommend.

Great Professor! Quick and very helpful feedback. Grading goes: Test 1 -15%, Test 2 to 4 - 20%, Quizzes 10%, 7 labs 10% and discussion posts 5%. Online lecture vids are straight to the point and the tests are so easy. No surprise questions. One of the best online classes I've taken at brookdale.

Didn't like Rob at first but as time went on I realized he really does want his students to succeed in his class. Work hard on all of your homework and you will pass. Plan and simple.

This class was all problems! I prefer to not have vocabulary be a main focus in math and Rob feels the same way so it made the class easier in my opinion. He always made me laugh he tries to make the class simple but if you do not do your homework and/or you choose to not show up you will fail!!

Tests were easy. Gives a test review to do for 6 points on the test. Test was way easier than the review, but the review got me ready. answered every email even on the weekends.

First time I did well in math

Took MATH 151 didn't do well. They suggested 136. Intimidating at first, but met with Rob on zoom and he walked me through everything. Emailed him a lot in the beginning, always answered me even in the weekends. Tests were easy and so were the projects. Quizzes were tough. I got an A so anyone can do it.

I bombed the first test. Was going to drop. He said to wait grade is not just tests. Said do the hw it will match the test. Even with a bad grade on test 1 I got an A. Lot's of other stuff graded. Got 100's on projects and other stuff tests went ok, but I got an A.

First math course I did good in. Tests were right from the class work. Extra credit for every test. quizzes done in class

I hate this pandemic. I had to take all my courses online. Took a couple of courses online live, but it was painful. Figured I would try math fully online crazy and its statistics. This class was no problem. Lots of videos. He also gives a very short video for each section that covered all I needed they matched the tests really well.

My first easy math class. Each test was only like 10% of the grade. Tests were right from the hw. I bombed the first test met with him and did good on the next 3. Explained where grade for the course came from and I was fine. Answered all my emails and made me feel ok about the course he makes it low stress.

Was nervous about taking math. I failed it in HS and the first time I took it at Brookdale. Took Fiore's class my friend said to take him. Glad I did. Fiore made the class easy. Taught it real simple. He even helped me on Sunday night on the phone. I crushed every test. Don't know why I failed it with the other teacher they were good too.

My best math class ever. Stuff was real different, but pretty easy to do. Seemed real hard first couple of classes, but test was right from notes. Got 106 on my 3rd test. Rob seemed strict first couple of classes, but is actually pretty laid back.

Overall great Professor and class. Im terrible with math and I passed his class with flying colors. If you dont understand something ask and hell gladly go over it he breaks it down so you really understand. The way that this class is setup homework plays a major part in your grade so be sure to do it each week.

I was so nervous to take test 1. Just took it. I was surprised I did real good. He is a very fair grader. Homework was a lot harder than the test. I think that is what got me real scared. I took this class fully online, and I wish I didn't. I suck at math as it is, so stats was difficult for me. Kinda a heavy workload, but he lets you retake quizzes more than once to get a better grade. Tests aren't bad if you do the test reviews, because he gives you extra points for doing it. If I had to take him again, it would def be in person.

Rob only teaches what you need to know. Doesn't waste time going over stuff you don't need. Third time in the course and at last I get it. Stats isn't hard as long as you ignore all the bull.

Took this class with Fiore. He really wants you to pass. His saying is your success is my success. Didn't know if it was just lip service, until the tests came around. Tests were exactly what he said. Funny dude always cracking jokes. Kinda dad jokes but still pretty funny. Real patient with questions and makes sure you understand.

3rd times a charm. took him on my 3rd attempt at stats. Finally passed, he said teacher has nothing to do with it, I disagree Made it real easy. Told me what I needed to know and nottin else.

Struggled with math hole life. Struggled in this one to. Down to last exam met with tutors in math lab, met with rob and I passed. Not too thrilled about next math class can't take same prof class filled.

He had videos for each section. Was worried at first because videos were pretty short. I watched them did the quizzes and watched with the hand-outs like he said. He said you need to come to class or you won't pass. I missed like ten classes and got an A.

Very straight forward. Tells you what you need to know over and over again. Little redundant. Gives hw every night and checks and grades it. He does this randomly which kinda sucks if you miss an assignment. Grades hw like quizzes so make sure you do it and check that it's right. Class was weird but teacher was good. Wood def take again

rob was awesome. Materiel was straight forward he made it easy. Extra credit helps. Answered all my emails. Helped me whenever I needed it.

Took this as my second online math course. You definitely have to put some time in. He answered all my emails crazy quick. Tests were the same as the notes. Class was a different kind of math, but still not bad. I did good in both my online math classes. I think I liked the MATH 136 better it was a little easier than stats.

Class was easy show up and do the classwork and you'll pass. Online quizzes take until you get a 100 and the math lab will help do them. Tests weren't too bad for math. Class wasn't exciting but that's math.

Rob gives an outline for each week. A list of to do items made it easy to know what was due each week. I would take the quizzes until I got a 100. tests were pretty much the quizzes. I did talk to him on the phone once to go over something he seemed pretty chill..

fiore is a nice guy, there is a decent amount of homework, quizzes can be retaken until you get 100, he compresses the lessons into only what you need to know for the exams and gives handouts for it, complete study guides for extra credit, exams overall can be hard but if you study for them with what he gives you'll do well; great teacher

Rob really helped me out. I had some stuff going on and he sat and helped me with my math after class and listened to me. I still don't like math, but he was awesome.

3rd time was definitely the charm. I failed stats twice, figured I would give it one last try. Took Rob this time, I not only passed I got an A. Very straight forward tells you what to know and that's it. I have no Idea why I failed with the other teachers stats is not that hard. Maybe I changed.

This guy is great!! Very friendly, knowledgeable, professional & down to earth! I highly recommend him!!

Took Rob cuz my friends took him. First class seemed a little strict, but not really, he just tells it like it is. Only teaches what you need to know, no BS. Still don't like math, but I will take them with Rob, Highly recommend him.

Took stats this summer online. WATCH the videos. He says it and I tell you it is exactly what you need nothing more nothing less. Quizzes were do um till you get a 100. Tests were like the quizzes except only 1 try. Hw kinda sucks, but it always does. Definitely recommend this course. Very straight forward.

I was very nervous to take math. I haven't had math in a very long time. He makes me feel smart. I have never felt comfortable asking questions until I took this course with Rob. I know I can do math. I always could, I just needed a little confidence.

Just took my test 1. This is my 2nd time in this course. I was so nervous, but my friend said take Rob. I am so glad that I did. Emailed him Friday at like 12, he called me Saturday morning, at 8am, is he crazy some of sleep. He made me feel better for the test and I crushed it. If you read these wait till like noon on weekends.

Took Rob in the spring last year. Straight forward and friendly. Math aint my thing. I felt like I was pretty good at math in his class. I wish he taught my next math class. Needed 145 he wasn't teachin it, not doing great in there. If I don't pass this semester, I will see what rob is teaching and hopefully get in his class.

This is my 1st time in college. Always hated math and sucked at it. Feelin pretty good now, understanding everything were doin and doin pretty good on tests. Rob is pretty chill, he wants us all to pass. Hopen I get him for my next one to.

Rob's class is so organized. He spells out what you need to do each week. His videos, well I wouldn't say they were fun to watch but they were easy to follow, pretty short too. Took quizzes until I got 100, loved that. Tests not bad at all as long as you watch the videos. HW sucked, but his tests were way easier. rob get rid of the hw. M

Liked the class as much as I could like math. Taking him again this semester same kinda stuff not too bad. He is laid back for a teacher.

I have taken most of my classes online. Prof Fiore's was by far the easiest to follow. Videos were spot on. The quizzes and tests were not bad at all, but be warned the hw sucks. I only emailed him once, but he responded right away. Email was kind of sterile just answered my question. Was told stats is really hard, no big deal at all.

Professor Fiore is a great Professor. He seems a bit harsh in the beginning, but is pretty laid back. Always answered emails quickly, let us take quizzes till we got 100, and showed us exactly what will be on the exam. The test review was identical to the exams. By far one of the best professors, as long as you put in the work.

Can't believe I made it through stats with an A. Looks hard but Rob makes it so easy to understand.

weird class. not like real math. Hard to describe logic and set theory as math. Rob made it interesting for a math class. Not too hard just, but not sure I'd call it math.

Liked his class. Spent most of time practicing. Did like a million problems definitely helped. Nice guy

Class was definitely different. Lots of working in groups. Material seemed really hard but rob made it super easy. Videos were great and having my notes typed up for me was a winner all day long. If I need more math gonna take rob

Professor Fiore's MATH131 class is well-organized and straightforward. The videos are easy to follow, and the quizzes let you practice until you get it right. While the homework can be tedious, the tests are fair and reflect the material covered. I found unstuck ai really helpful for practice and review.

Each lesson was backed by notes and videos. Tests were not a huge part of the grade, but were not hard at all. Study the hand-outs and videos and the class is a breeze. Rob is very friendly and answers emails even on the weekends. Definitely would take him again.

Took this class in person and failed it and retook it online with Professor Fiore. Easy to follow. Quizzes were taken until you got a 100 same as the hw. I was lost emailed fiore and he called me up and walked me through how to use canvas. Glad I took him and glad I used the math lab they were great. Most of all glad I am all done with math.

Rob is an amazing professor. He is very clear on how his class runs. He cracks jokes and is overall a good energy to be around. If you are bad at math I would NOT recommend a hybrid class. You definitely need the extra class to do well (my mistake). He is accessible outside of class. Great guy.

This is the most different math course I ever took. Never thought Logic would be part of a math course, felt more like English. Rob made it very easy to understand and gave interesting real-life applications. rob tells you what you need to know and nothing extra. Felt like he really cared if I did well. Glad I took him

Tells you how you doing and calls you out for not doing stuff. Dint like him for like the first half of semester, givn me a hard time about not paying tension and work stuff. One day he asked me to stay and we talked for a while, he told me I was smart, but needed an attitude adjustment. I was pissed. Made it thru and taken him for 021.

Rob is chill and makes statistics very straightforward. Listen to what he says, especially when it comes to what to study, and you'll do great. He wants his students to succeed.

Prof. Fiore is great at explaining complex topics in simpler yet still correct terms. He has great recorded lectures on class topics on his canvas. homework and quizzes can be redone until you get 100%, tests obviously not. If you submit Lab assignments early and ask for feedback on what you did incorrectly, you can resubmit with corrections.

Professor Fiore is the BEST. I took him for 021 during my first semester of college this fall. I have always loved math and if you love a teacher that gets you out of class early, isn't lecture heavy, and has personality, he is the one! He genuinely wants you to succeed and makes sure you do by constantly reviewing problems. I got into bootcamp :)

Prof. Rob was a great and friendly teacher for Math 131 in Spring 2024. His tests were tough, but all four came from quizzes and review sheets. If you take notes and study the reviews, you'll do well. I've finished my associate degree from Brookdale, but if I get a chance, I'd definitely take another class with him—he makes math easy.

I will retake Professor Fiore anytime; he's such a fantastic teacher. Don't miss his class

Took this course because they make me take math, which makes no sense for criminal justice. Class was not hard at all. notes and his own videos on canvas. take quizzes until you get a 100, hw same thing, not great at math but still got an A. Can't imagine anyone thinking this is hard to pass. wish i could say the same for all my classes.

Prof. Fiore was a great and friendly teacher for Math 131 in Spring 2024. I would recommend taking him. His Test came mostly from his quizzes. Again, you have to study and ensure you get the HW all 100 and the quiz.

Took rob because my girl had him said he was good. I am glad I did, real friendly dude. Class was not bad last test was tough for me, but I still did real good. Glad done with math.

Lets you take quizzes as many times as you want, same width hw. Tests was like the quizzes, i just watched the videos and did the quizzes and tests were eezy. answered all my emails like fast. Writes nice comments on my test, little silly, but I got an A.

Took this class online. Lots of quizzes and hw. Kinda got a bad grade test 1. Emailed prof asked him what to do. Dude called me up and showed me the test was just like the quizzes. Told me study the quizzes, crushed the next two tests.

From someone who's bad at math, Rob makes this class as easy as possible. He has a true no BS mindset. Listen to what he says and you'll do well. His quizzes come straight from handouts, tests come straight from the quizzes. Can redo quizzes and HW's till 100. Just don't be lazy, do your work on time. With out a doubt one of the best Profs at bdale

10/10 recommend him as a teacher he is very caring and ask each student about how they are doing and really does believe in every student and it's very hard to fail his class.

Great professor. If you struggle with math, this is the professor to take.
