He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I feel that he loves his work and cares about every single student in his class. His patience, especially with the older students is superb! I found his use of MYMATHLAB along with his style of classroom instruction an unbeatable combination. He is one of the reasons Bergen is such a good college.

He is great! I wish he taught 130 and 150. I'd take another course with him in a heartbeat. Use MYMATHLAB and pay attention to him in class and you'll pass without any trouble. His use of M&Ms kept our attention level high in my later evening class.

Mr. Fusco is a great teacher. Teaches at a reasonable pace and is always available for questions for those who need extra help after class. You will succeed if you do the work. Word of advice to slackers; don't come in asking a hundred questions if you haven't been to class in 3 weeks he'll get extremely annoyed.

Professor Fusco should be head of the math department. He knows how to teach, how to break it down, and how to get it across to his students. I took this same class with another professor and that professor he was the worst. Take this class HE'S THE BEST. Professor Walker was really nice and cool as well.

I took the computer Math class with Fusco. He was recommended to me. He let me learn how I learned best. Without giving me too many restrictions I passed the class within a month. He has a kind heart and super funny. If you are willing to learn he is willing to teach you until you understand it. That makes an amazing teacher.

Stats Summer 1. This professor is the man. Classroom mood is very light and warm. Doesn't bore you at all. Come in say "hi, hello, how are you" and your already starting off right. Down to earth person. Treat him with respect. The actual class? Come in, pay attention, and follow along. Easy stuff. Exams are easy. Homework easy. best prof hands down

He was awesome--contemporary math is an easy subject if you can get beyond how "non-math" it is. Fusco was really smart and didn't let anyone walk all over him, but he will give you a quiz if there's one idiot in the class who talks over him or asks questions that he already answered so you have to be a pretty good student to do well.

Math lab is where the work is located. Fusco is very understanding and helpful. He is willing to take time on making sure you understand the problem.

Took Professor Fusco for Statistics and he was great! Statistics is already a hard subject but this professor explained the material so well. He puts notes on moodle and you have to print them out for class. He does give a lot of homework but trust me it helps! As long as you do all the homework, you will do great.

Very great professor, would recommend everyone to take him for math. Have had other math teachers in the past at Bergen but none explain or teach the way he does. Fusco's class is hard. He doesn't give multiple choice tests and gives too much homework. Also, he sometimes gives pop quizzes that he doesn't even let you know in advance for. Group work is annoying as well.

Most understanding math teacher I have met by far! I'm going through some tough times right now. Its been a good week or so and I have missed a lot of work and he had no clue. Still took the time to e-mail me. I let him know whats going on. I thought he would of been like my last teacher. Not the case- its hard to find a teacher like that.

I had a real hard time in math, and his method of teaching that one subject most people suck at makes people appreciate math a little more once he explains it step by step. Great guy, always there for you, and NEVER sets you up for failiure.

Overall good teacher. My best subject is math but, this course is pretty tough Test are pretty hard if you do not review on your own time or show up to class. He makes you earn your grade, it is not given. The only problem I have with Fusco is the pop quizzes he threatens to give you if up ask too many questions or don't know an answer.

My rating is going to be strange since I didn't pass the class. It was an online class that I did not pass because I didn't keep up. However, I wanted to rate the professor because in spite of my negligence, he was so extremely helpful. He contacted me constantly and tried to get me into the next class. He cares and that is worth noting. Take him!

Im not good at math and knowing that I had to take Statistics scared me. However Professor Fusco is great! I took it over the summer and it was fast paced, don't fall behind on homework. Do it! Mr. Fusco is an all-around wonderful professor. I personally expected statistics to be a little challenging, and it was at times, but if you complete all your HW and attend class everyday (so you don't miss group work, which is graded), you'll be ok. As a person who's terrible at math, I'm really glad i took him for stats. he cares for his students and really wants them to learn. there are 4 exams and hw almost every night. No purchase of textbook required, everything is on moodle. his notes are very clear and helpful. and attendance isn't mandatory.

Professor Fusco is a fantastic professor. I have always been a C-B+ student in math, but I received an A in his stats class. There is a LOT of homework (be forewarned), but it really does prepare you for the tests and helps you to fully understand what hes teaching. If you are mature and self motivated, you will have no problem in his class.

For the student to succeed, it is essential that teachers can work in collaboration with them and this professor does it 100% he is just amazing, he cares and helps you to understand the class I will always be. His class is SUPER easy if you are mathematically inclined, yet he doesn't gloss over the concepts. He has mastered the art of making a class easy WITHOUT skipping concepts or expecting any less of us. Statistics is NOT easy whatsoever. He assigns a lot of homework but it's all needed to help you understand the concepts. Probably around 10 quizzes and 4 tests. You need to pay close attention and put in the work. He is such a sweetheart and is so caring - always there to help you. Not an easy A, not because of the professor but because the class.

Prof Fusco is strict with deadlines. I can tell he cares that you understand (Algebra), but not enough weeks to learn for someone that doesn't understand Math too well. His final review is 85 questions, and you must show your answer and submit it before he gives pw to final (respondus exam). Stricter than other Math Profs. but good cause he cares.

Prof. Fusco is empathetic w/students and wants you to learn. The secret is to ask questions, be engaging in fact everyone should, what you put in is what you get out of it. He is by far the best professor that I have ever experienced at BCC. He is cool, chills, one of a kind, and he for sure knows how to teach students in a reasonable way. 4 exams, 1-2 quizzes depending on schedule, and lots of homework, but those are just helping you to understand the concept better.

Professor Fusco is a really good. He is extremely patient and wants his students to learn. For someone who is AWFUL at math working with him was really nice! I totally recommend, he is also a very fast grader when it comes to exams and quizzes which is really appreciated! Definitely take him if math is not your strongest.

Took Stats I with him during the summer and was worried that I wasn't going to be able to keep up but he was great. He keeps things simple and teaches what you need to know. He doesn't overcomplicate things and helped with any questions we had so I genuinely enjoyed this class. Doing well in a class you thought you wouldn't be able to is the best!

Professor Fusco thoroughly explains lectures, and sets aside time to discuss difficulties on any homework assignments and quizzes. He spoon feeds the information, and it is up to you to stay on task, do homework assignments, and participate in class. Take him in person, you won't regret it! Took him over the summer and it was alot but he makes it okay espically if you such at math. If you ask a question he does make you feel a little dumb and compares you to his kid who can do the problem at a elementary age. This professor was the only reason I passed stat. Stat is a really difficult class and it follows a lot of arbitrary rules. I don't think it's an actual subject. It feels like a fake class made up to squeeze money out of college kids. Show up to class. Do the homework. Ask questions. Using a calculator was really hard.

Each week you had a reading, lectures, and a homework assignment. Lectures are taken from Youtube or the textbook, but are still helpful. Lots of self-studying. There are four exams and seven quizzes, along with a final project with instructions, but no rubric, so grading was unclear. Exams require cameras and lockdown browser.

I took this professor a few years ago and I just had to leave a positive review. His class was fun and easy and as a new student it was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. He also taught me about this website and encouraged students to use it!

He is an interesting teacher. It is crucial to go to class because he does a lot of group work and explains the material. He allows a lot of questions which is really nice. Make sure to print out the notes, watch the videos, and the online homework. Only bad thing is that he has messy handwriting and sometimes could not be understood. 10/10 teacher

Fusco is 10/10. I was convinced I hated math my entire life, taking his class I actually understand. You will have to apply yourself if math doesn't come easy to you. I legit hate math and am terrible with numbers, but fusco is one of the best professors out there. Ask questions and do not be afraid to look stupid, no question is ever stupid. Despite sitting through lecture and sometimes being lost (because this is not an easy class) if you need his help, he is there to give it to you if you ask.

For algebra go at your own pace accelerated 6 week course. the quizzes were just like the test just know the material.I got a B+.I had stats with him and subject itself is difficult not him. Prof. Fusco assigns a lot of homework and tests but if you manage your time wisely, you'll be able to pass with a flying grade. The amount of homework helps with understanding the material. Tests&exams are with lockdown browser and webcam. He is a strict grader, and make sure to submit all your assignments on time. I overall enjoyed the class.
