He wasen't a comedian in my class maybe in another class but not mine. he's a good teacher in my opinion but he doesn't really fully explain material as well as other teachers i've had. tests are difficult because they have a lot of word problems

Tests are really easy (if you do the homework he assigns - trust me, it really helps), and he gives good notes. He may seem a bit rigid and cold at first, but once you talk to him and establish rapport, you'll notice he's a cool guy.

I thought he was a very fair teacher. He explained the work very well, but I did have a hard time in his class because the tests were very hard. He also graded very strictly. But whenever I needed help he was willing to give it.

Math is not easy but he teaches it well. He reviews for the tests and goes over the homework problems. The tests are a little difficult but it's college algebra...what did ya expect? Absolute BEST math teacher ever! He's very clear and knowledgable and is more than generous with partial credit on exams. He also gives good hints to use if you are going on to the next math classes. Actuall made me like math.

If your coming strait from high school it should be a breeze. The material is not hard but if you psych yourself out you'll mess up. This teacher is very good at explaining any question you have. TAKE THIS TEACHER!

One of the best instructors I've had. I took him for Intermediate algebra and statistics. Before taking his class, I had no confidence in my mathmatical abilities.I frequently refer to the notes I took 2 yrs. ago in his statistics class for classes involving statistics at FAU. If you are willing to try, you will learn and do well in his class.

This guy rocks!!! I took this same class once before with O'hanion and bombed so bad I just dropped. (O'hanion doesn't give partial credit on tests, so a lot of people got about 8% on tests!) This guy REALLY wants his students to understand and does his best to explain it the way non-math majors will understand. Plus, he's REALLY HOT!!!

THe man knows his stuff. He is excellent at explaining and as long as you don't break his few pet peeves(leaving without telling him and such) you will get along fine. I took professor Fusco for statistics and business cal. He is a fair and caring teacher. He is always willing help his students. He makes his students earn their grades, but he does curve all of his tests.

Some tests are multiple choice and in others u have to answer all the problem step by step. Good teacher.

He only gives 4 test a semester, and they are ridiculously hard test that are just insane! my highest grade was a 60% and don't even try to leave his class early

Mr Fusco is one of the BEST math teachers I've ever had. Some people said he was "boring".. but I've never known math to be fun. He's perfectly clear when teaching and will go out of his way to help you. If you want to pass just go to class and do all of the homework. He's really a great professor.

I read a lot of comments saying he was a bad professor before I took his class. I was dreading him and then I went to class and he was awesome. I guess the people who wrote bad comments were lazy. I'm awful in math and I did quite well in his class. Like any college class you have to show up and do all hw, and you'll do great. Highly recommended!!!

I did math with Mr.Fusco during the summer of 2007. The time was short, hence it was pretty much a fast paced environment.My advise to any students taking his class during the summer is to show up at all th classes, do the assignments, and I guaratee that you will end up with atleast a B.

I am absolutely retarded when it comes to math. Come to find out you cant use a calculator in this class. I flipped. Mr. Fusco made it so easy. Made everything clear. I had him last year and he was kind of cool. Even though we couldnt use calculators he made it simple and actually made our mental math stronger. The only bad part is that you really have to pay attention to what he is saying in his lectures. But overall he is cool.

Probably one of the best professors Ive ever had in my life. Math has always been a long-time enemy of mine but with him as my teacher I could deal with it. He doesnt check HW, but doing it is crucial to succeeding in this course so make sure you stay on top of it. He's also really funny and makes the best facial expressions.

Everyone who has said bad comments about fusco is crazyyy or maybe just lazy..i have always been really bad at math and thought i would never make it..he gave five test and i got an "A" on every test. I loved his teaching style. He does move a little fast but anything you didnt catch, just ask and he will show you exactly what you didnt understand.

Professor Fusco is very nice and very helpful. He answers all the questions you ask. easy tests (+ extra points), very easy to get an "A" if you do all the homework. There's no tricky questions at all. Highly recommend!! I'm taking his STA2023 now. Remember, do the notes in class and finish all the hw at home, he will go over on it. ^^

Great Teacher. Pretty funny will keep you interested in it and teach you some good ways to learn math if you struggle. I highly recommend him if you struggle with math he makes it easier. You should do the homework but it isn't checked. The tests are great because he gives you credit for trying, math lab is required only for quizzes. TAKE HIM!!!!!

Fusco is AWESOME! He takes the time to solve any problems you're having and works with you. He offers many ways to solve problems and keeps things interesting. Just be sure to do the homework, take the quizzes, ask questions and you'll do fine!

Attendance & HW not mandatory but missing a day of class is missing 3 Chpts and not doing hw, you will fall behid! Funny guy and makes class interesting. I had him for MAC1105 and STA2023 and he's good at what he teaches. His grading is all tests. They aren't cumulative. He can explain things well and takes a lot of questions. I'd take him again.

Stats is a hard class. But this is a teacher who knows how to teach. He gives reviews and allows for HW questions in the beginning of class. As long as you put a good effort you will pass. And he is willing to help.

In ref. to summer C online course, there was an exorbitant amount of homework due weekly. 5 tests in all, inc/ a cumulative final. He gives practice tests, which helps; however, his actual tests will have a couple variations that aren't on the practice tests. An A is definitely possible for the student who doesn't mind and has time for hard work.

Unenthusiastic,sarcastic folk, boring class. He doesn't do much at class; we do aleks. He brought the example of the final test at the last class before the final!!Useless; the point of doing a review test is to bring questions to him about the exercises you couldn't solve BEFORE the final. Dissapointing. Dont take him. You will learn nothing.

Never been good at math. We used ALEKS. Problem with the program, is you can't really fall behind, and if you don't know it, big problem. The final must be passed with a 70 or above to pass the class. I always floated away with a D in high school. I passed this math, he's a great guy, funny, and I had fun. I think my friends made it fun for me.

He has a very clear, organized and systematic way of teaching No confusion involved when it comes to his teaching. Great teacher, will take him again for MAC1105 if he is available. I really liked the fairly easy going attitude he had. He only took attendance once and that was it. As long as you aren't gone 4 days in a row you're fine. He explains well and takes things step by step but ultimately its up to you to practice so you pass.

I couldn't pass MAT1033... Had to take the bridge course that would allow me to take Statistics and Liberal Arts. Professor Fusco made it so easy to understand. It couldn't get any better than this. I got a B but it was my fault why i didn't get an A. Make sure you take him for any class he teaches I'm sure you will understand and pass.

I took him with Pre Statistics which I am glad I did because I am horrible in math and walked out with a B. Stats is hard but Fusco definitely did the best he could. Do your homework, it helps prepare for tests and work with him. It helps in the end if you struggle.

At first I was scared because of his rating here, but other classes didn't fit my schedule. All I can say is that he will help as long as you show your max effort. If you slack all term, and during the last chapters you want to put in the effort you didn't put all semester, he will be sarcastic. I got an A in his class because I asked questions.

In highschool I never made anything higher than C but Professor Fusco is a nice guy and he's a good teacher. ask a question and he will answer it and make sure you understand. Prof Fusco is a phenomenal teacher. He teaches you how to solve a problem several different ways and you can choose the method that works for you. He was very patient when answering repetitious questions and always answered questions for the first 15 minutes of class. You must attend class and do the assigned homework and non-graded questions.

Great Professor for STA2023. You can't be lazy or slack off in this class. You must practice and do the homework. He answers all questions step by step at the beginning of class and during the lecture. 3 tests, a final (not cumulative) and gives a fair amount of hw. He even gives review problems for the text. Overall I would recommend him.

You basically do one chapter per class, so it's very easy to keep up with. You take notes and then do the online hw that same night or at least before the next class so it's still fresh in your brain. You can take the online hw as MANY times as you want so there is absolutely NO reason you shouldn't get straight 100s. Focus on actually knowing it.

Took as 8 week summer course for college Algebra. The most important thing to do in this class is the ungraded homework. I didn't take it serious at first and didn't do it and got a 70. For the next two test I did the ungraded questions and got A's on both of them. DO THE UNGRADED HW. It's the key to passing.

had him for MAC1105. Great professor. Gives 4 tests. He teaches all the steps without skipping even though he tends to go a little fast. I would def recommend him because he does go the extra mile for his students. Attendance is important as well as homework. Gives pop quizzes but fairly easy.

At first, the class was pretty difficult as the class is more about concept than your traditional math. Make sure, you do his test reviews! again make sure you do his test reviews! Do those and you will do good on his tests. His final exam was very easy. His humor can be sarcastic at times which I didn't mind at all. Also, avoid Casio Calculators.

6 wk summer class.3rd time taking the class(diff. professors).Actually learned w/ him & I suck at math. Takes the time to teach step by step though he can go a little fast. 4 tests,final, & mylabs due 2 days after class usually. Pop quizzes first 15 mins, wont let u in till after & u cant make it up. Take notes in class & youll be fine. He's great!

Mr Fusco was great this semester Im not sure what all the reviews had an issue with. If I can think of anything its that he has pop quizzes almost every week after the first few classes but this is only because without showing up to class at bare minimum you will not pass the class. A great (and pretty funny) professor if you give him the chance.

He is a fantastic math teacher, I've never been more engaged in learning math before him. He explains things I was confused about in middle school and helps me to understand math completely, I highly recommend him if you care about learning.

He uses his class to prepare students for the real world, hence locking doors if late. He matches the effort you put towards learning the material and genuinely cares about your success. Take advantage of his office hours if needed. He taught me there's many ways to find a solution, which I've applied to every aspect of my life.

He is fast paced but he is open to questions and does want to help the students. The tests are hard if you don't study, but if you do the review on ALEKS you will pass. This professor is who made me like math again. He's really helpful but you have to be willing to ask for help. And dont expect an easy grade because you have to work for it. Very fast teacher, so be sure to study afterward. I was out of school for 3 years and returned, starting with calc, and surprised myself with a B. He will expect you to know things that have been taught in prerequisite classes, so brush up! Ask him to clarify things if you don't understand or you'll be lost. Great Professor whose goal is to TEACH math and not memorize for the test. He's genuinely funny as well. He likes to show real world applications of what you're learning. Only bad thing is that there is a lot of homework but he gives you a lot of time to complete it and no late work is accepted only early work lol

His class is more about understanding the concepts. A good professor. It's just that the class has a shorter session, so you have to learn quicker and be more attentive, but overall, you just have to give effort. The only thing I didn't like was the overlap of the lessons, but there was a time constraint, so it's hard to criticize.
