He is a good teacher but you need to apply yourself. Alot of people want a free ride and its not like that. You can stop by his office and he will sit down and tutor you! If you try you will make a good grade.

Honestly he is a very good teacher. He cares alot about the students and will do what it takes to allow the student to pass. He is't the most exiting teacher but he is one of the best math teachers. The thing is that you have to apply yourself, he helps you alot but you still need to do the work.

One of the things I loved about this tetacher was that he used examples that were fun. If you do the homework it's a big help. The way he teaches is scattered though so be prepared to follow along. Other then that, if I could pass the class without taking the final he's awesome.

He explains EVERYTHING thoroughly and if you do all the homework, you'll ace the class. He is hilarious which makes class go by quick. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes he will take too long answering homework questions, that he will rush through the day's lecture in 20 minutes. Other than that, he is a GREAT professor!

I took him for MAC1105 and MGF1106. At first I was overwhelmed by his teaching style and I wanted to drop, but I stayed on and quickly got used to his style. I used the math lab for MAC but not for MGF. He is a bit messy but very forgiving, gives extra points for doing HW, and is very amusing. His class is never boring. I got an A both times :)

Math is easy if you study and get into study groups. It's important to have a good professor, Bob is one of them. Take the class and study a lot. He'll help you as much as he can to understand and pass his class. Always an interesting class and actually interesting. That's pretty much it.

griffiths is not that bad, i cant say he can not be a lil confusing in certain topic he talk about in class, his there to help you in general, he has his own funny jokes. i do recommend him and he try his best and his not there to fail you but for you to learn and every one has dere own way of understanding things when it comes to math.

Mr. Griffiths is a nice proffesor a little bit crazy but If you need help he is there to do it. He gives extra points for homework but you have to do it no just copy from the back of the book. the class is not that hard but you have to study. His exams are little bit difficult and wordly, but if you study you pass.

He must have extreme ADD and, since I do as well, it was very counterproductive. If you are good at math then take this class. If not, try to find somebody more... grounded! i had mr.griffiths for mac1105, and mgf 1106. He is very helpful!! you just have to put effort and ask when you need help. he is unorganized on the bored but he compensates for that by caring about your grade! you just have to show him you care as well. its not an easy A. but it is very possible to get an A. when you study and ask questions

I absolutely loved this teacher! His class is very easy to pass if you pay attention! Do your homework for those extra points and pay attention to the work you are doing on the test and you will be fine. He does go a bit loopy when he is teaching but if you are paying attention and taking notes when you should then you will have no problem.

I had this professor for mat1033, as well as 1105. LOVED him in 1033 (simple class), but took 1105 in summer b, so it was very crammed. very helpful, and gives extra points for homework. I was struggling, but he saw how hard I was trying and how well my homework was done, so I passed with an A :)*not for slackers* (NEVER take math in a short term!)

I had prof Griffiths for mgf1106 and thought he was the best math professor I've ever had! Do the homework its e.c and HELPS! He will work with you if you dont understand and use good examples. He also teaches at reasonable progressive speed, but when his students' are stuck he slows down and links what he is currently teaching with something you already know. HW is extra credit.

His teaching is kind of unorganized but he's willing to help & answer questions, as long as you ASK! Walks around during test & gives you hints.. Binder checks the day of each test. I would only recommend if you are kind of good at math already though..

GREAT PROFESSOR! He is extremely helpful, answers any questions you have. Tests are easy if you actually do some studying. He gives at least 6 extra points on each exam if you do all the homework. The people who complain about this professor are the ones that expect to have everything handed to them. Everything on the test is based on his review in class. Very misunderstood. The people leaving reviews are butthurt and clearly do not study enough. I nearly failed math all through my highschool years. But I took MAT1033 and MAC1105 with Robert, and he made everything so clear to me. Do the HW (which is worth extra credit), go to class, LISTEN, and study. His tests are not so hard as ppl say. I got As.

I passed his class with an 87% , but had the opportunity to pass with an A. He drops lowest grade, offers extra credit, HW isn't necessary but those are your extra credit points. 60 pts in total for extra CREDIT. Any math that goes from MAC1105 and beyond will not be easy, algebra is one of the most failed classes, so just be ready.

Griffiths is quite quirky but hilarious. If you're struggling with a topic he'll give as many examples and methods as possible until you understand it. He tries his best to help you out with grades but there's only so much he can do. Home works is a must but very easy.

This is the 1st prof. in a VERY LONG TIME that actually helps his students to the max of his capabilities to pass. Such a sigh of relief with how nice he is & how much he's willing to do for the struggling student. You failed a test? He will replace your worst test grade with the final exam grade, if it is a better score. He's great with h.w. also

This dude is hilarious. I took him my first semester and had no problem with his class though I already kind of knew the topic. His homework gives 15 EXTRA POINTS ON THE TEST; 75 + HW 90! I didn't get an A because I was lazy but it really isn't hard to get one.

Professor Griffiths covers a lot of material in the classes; be sure to attend them. He thoroughly understands the material he teaches, and is intelligent. He is quite eccentric and also rather disorganized. If you want an A without doing any work, this is not for you, but if you do the homework and attend class, it isn't difficult to receive one.

Final grade 4 exams and an optional final. Homework is not mandatory/graded. 10 points added to your test grade if the HW is turned in and at least 90% correct. Lectures are boring but effective. Lots of examples. He's very understanding. You can be late to class no ques asked. Will need textbook or access code for hw. All in all very nice guy.

One of the most underrated professors in my opinion. Hw is optional, online hw is +10 on the exam and book hw can give you anywhere from +4-8! He is funny and super nice, and if you visit during office hours he will help with any questions you have. His class has 5 exams and a final that will replace your lowest grade. Really happy I picked him!

I admit that I was struggling at first because I wasn't doing my homework and I was slacking off and also having personal issues in my life. I spoke to him about it and he helped me go over questions I was confused about. Gave me a chance to make up work.

He lectures every class you dont have an exam and gives you resources to study for his proctored exams. theres no textbook but you have to pay for access to homework on aleks. he seems to be moody on exam days but if you set your camera up properly and show up on time there shouldnt be a problem.

you are only graded on (non proctored) exams and attendance. he does present an opportunity for extra credit. homework wasnt mandatory just recommended for practice. he offers more sources to study before exams. final exam optional to replace low exam grade. sarcastic and funny guy i would take him again.

Good teacher and has fun in class. You can replace your lower test score with a higher one and have the opportunity to earn additional credit. You should also study a little of course.
