great teacher. very clear, very helpful, was always willing to stay after class to help students out. he's also hot! it wasnt hard for the ladies to focus in the class because he's so freakin gorgeous! too bad he's not teaching calc 1...lol

He's a good teacher, although it's not quite fair to students to not let them make up any tests or quizzes. Other than that, he's excellent.

This was a really difficult class but he is an excellent teacher and explained things really well. He was interesting and personable and a good teacher.

As for me the class it's self was hard but he was awsome in his style of teaching. very comfortable with asking him questions. showed concern for students highly recommend him if possible.

This guy is so into himself. I dislike this class very much. This class is hard enough and it is even more diffuclt that this guy is teaching the class. The only people that he pays most attention to is the "stupid dump women" in the class or the people that laughs at his lame jokes. He thinks that he is so funny, but he jabbers about non-interesti

When he sees that you're trying to learn, he takes him time, just to make sure that you understand the work.

Mr. Hatcher is incredibly down to earth and seems as if he loves his job. He is incredibly sexy and that helped keep my attention and focus. I give him 5 stars. To bad he cant date students!:(

A wonderful instructor! He explains everything in perfect detail. I don't think he's cocky at all just funny. I wish I could take all of his classes and I hate math! Highly recommended

Mr. Hatcher is a great teacher. I think he is a little bit too fast but he will stop and help you if you ask. He wants his students to succeed. I had to Drop because I haven't had Math in years so I needed a teacher that went slower so I could understand. I took Mr. Abella he's Awesome, he went slower and went more in detail so I could understand.

Great teacher. He made you feel comfortable asking questions and didn't mind doing it. I would recommend him to all math students!

Mr. Hatcher is an excellent instructor. He explains the material very well, and is always willing to answer questions. However, he is an extremely harsh grader. I'm a 4.0 student, and this was one of the most difficult courses I've taken. Though, if you put in the time, it's possible to get an A. Overall, very good, but be prepared to work hard.

Hatcher is great!Because of his teaching style he made it easy for me as a adult student to lose my fear of math!LOL.I teaches progressively,starting in a place that makes it easy to comprehend the harder things as you get to them.Exams rewuire that you do the homework,some questions come right from the homework!He has a great sense of humor too!

harsh grader?? homework isnt graded so i never did any of it and got a 96% in the class. he goes a little fast but will take time to explain anything both in and out of class if youre not getting something. i think hes great!!

Mr. Hatcher is a competent instructor. Considering the material, he did a great job of explaining, often in several different ways, so that everyone could understand. Only beef: his failure to manage the disruptive, attention seeking behavior of another student, which was taxing to the learning environment for the rest of the class.

Mr.Hatcher is a very nice professor. His lectures are clear, funny, and informative. He's always happy to help (take advantage of his office hours)and never makes you feel stupid if you don't understand something. Hard tests--make sure that you always study everything that he says will be on them and more. Good class, good professor.

The best math instructor I've ever had. He completely changed the way I learn math and because of him I was able to go on to higher level math classes, taught by horrible instructors, and still learn. He is awesome. (And funny and cute.)

Took him for a MM clas and only met once a week. Pretty sure if I had him more than once a week the subject would be must easier.

Best Math teacher I have ever had. He is sweet, understanding and he made me enjoy math for the first time! I passed with an A. Attendance is mandatory and essential for passing. Take notes, ask questions, do the homework and you will be fine. 4 exams, maybe 6 quizzes, and homework almost every night. Homework is easy, just pay attention in class!

He is so smart and funny! You will find calculus so interesting! He never care about late homework or take attendance or ask students to answer question. You will feel easy and comfortable in his class and motivated to earn your grade!

Rob was the greatest math instructor I've ever had. I came to his office hours nearly every week to ask questions and I ended up acing the final. So kind, and always willing to help!! Take Rob or you'll regret it

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Very nice and caring outside of class, I was always able to approach him and ask questions to him at his office. I would highly recommend taking his calc one class.

Really good grader, I'm not particularly good at math yet I managed a B-. Just make sure not to fall behind and the tests matter WAY more than the homework. There are only three chapter tests and a single final, he's a great professor!

Mr. Hatcher's class is pretty tough, but he's a wonderful teacher that does his best to help his students do well in his class. Unlike most teachers, he takes the time to make sure you fully understand what you are doing instead of just giving you a bunch of equations to memorize.

Very good lectures, and excellent feedback. When you ask him a question, he provides answer to that question as well as ensuring that yo understand the reasoning behind the answer.

Mr. Hatcher is super nice and really wants you to succeed. He's responds fairly quickly to email, gives out a study guide before his tests, and really tries to make sure you know what to expect. Webassign homework and quizzes aren't my favorite though, but I'd take him again.

Prof. Hatcher is a very enthusiastic lecturer and is invested in student success. The homework he assigns is a lot tougher than the test material, which makes it super easy to ace them. He's super responsive to e-mails and accessible during his office hours if you need any extra help.

Robert is a very good Calculus professor and his lectures are interesting (sometimes funny). The main issue is he is not very accessible, meaning emails get a slow - or sometimes no - response. Left with the impression that he's too busy for his students.

I loved this class. Hatcher is hysterical while still staying on topic, and he knows many ways to explain problems so that everyone can understand. Homework isn't graded but you really need to do it to understand the material well enough to pass his exams. He gives great practical advice for math courses up the road, too. 10/10

Mr. Hatcher is a great Professor. Make sure to attend lecture and ask questions and you can do well. Calculus can be very hard but he was accessible and made it easier to understand. He gives quizzes to help prepare for exams and offers examples and online help. I'm glad I had him as my Professor.

Hatcher was a great teacher all around. Receptive and respectful of his students! Math is by far my worst subject but he made it understandable. The course does end up being more expensive than usual because you have to buy cengage, but better than other wcc math professors. I took him as a guest student from umich and loved him. quality teacher.

He is very helpful and its clear he cares about his students and wants you to pass. He offered homework helper videos and the lectures are useful.

He is a really cool guy. I had him for Online Calc 1 and the homework you could do anytime before the quiz, although he has due dates for them. The homework has to been done in order to take the quiz which is really no big deal. As long as you are trying in his class, you will succeed.

Imagine Keegan-Michael Key teaching Calculus LOL. good personality and enthusiastic, clear lectures. my advice for students is to be serious about doing your homework and the class is easy. you have to at least try. calc1 is really an intro to more advanced math. and i appreciate how well organized the class is

I rarely feel inclined to fill out course evaluations, let alone teacher evaluations, however I feel obligated to speak on what an excellent professor Robert Hatcher is. I took Calculus I (MTH 191) through Washtenaw CC because of how horrific math is at UMich. Robert is caring, considerate, and always accessible! He truly wants students to succeed.

He is my most favorite Professor ever! He takes his time and explains things as many times as needed and is very understanding with learning accommodations. I loved his style of teaching and he's very fun and a rly chill person. I miss him

He is such a great teacher!! I came into this class having dreading algebra because of the pandemic's impact on my education in high school. However, Hatcher made algebra so easy to understand and I'm super thankful that I took his class. As long as you pay attention, take notes and do the homework you'll do great. He also provides textbooks

Helped me in mth 168. He will go out of his way to help you learn if you don't understand something. He's a great professor. He gives lots of extra help.

I took Professor Hatcher's calc 1 fully online class, and I would highly recommend it/him. Along with his amazing lecture videos, he made an effort to reach out to his students and provide extra assistance through videos on difficult topics. You will not regret taking him!

Mr. Hatcher is my first college math professor, and I couldn't ask for anything better! Show up, pay attention and do your work. you will get a good grade!
