This is a great professor. Everything he covers is in the book. Quizzes and exams are very easy. the only thing that could give your problems are the research papers. You must do 3 in the semester. Besides that, great opportunity to get an A.

Easy class. Can get boring at times especially if your not interested. With half an effort you can pass with at least a B.

He is an absolutely great teacher. I would strongly suggest speaking to him after class if you're looking for intelligent conversation. He can talk about any subject from astronomy to cooking to economics. If ever have any difficulty or issues with your grades just go up to him and he'll help you out. He also offers a lot of extra credit.

I would take this class 10 times if I could! If you have to take HUM1020 I am highly suggesting Prof Henry. The class is very easy and you don't really have to try, but if you give 100% you will leave the class with an A. His quiz are 5 questions each, 2 exams 25 questions and then 2 critiques that are 500 words each so there's no way you can fail

This is a very easy class. He is a very laid back professor and if you get lower than an A in the class, you didn't try at all.

He always makes time for any questions, and although he may go off on a tangent from time to time due to a question, they are interesting tangents to say the least . He really cares about his students and the subject he teaches. He will also edit your essay before it is due, which is a giant help! RECOMMENDED

I don't understand why so many people are complaining! He is literally the best professor at Dade- take him!! Very knowledgeable about his subject; yes, he grades the essays quite strictly, but the majority of the class is definitely based on online vocabulary quizzes!!

His class is basically him lecturing about the subject, but he is really nice and doesnt make it boring. The quizes and exams are online and its only vocab. I never took any notes, i just wrote down the vocab words and when I did my exams i would go to the book and get the definitions from there. Do the papers carefully and you will succeed.

Glad I took this professor for humanities. He's class is an easy A. If you fail it's because you didn't do the work. All you have to is the quizzes and exams are online and they are vocabulary based. There's only two essays which are very easy. A very simple class just remember your deadlines and you're good.

I took Professor Henry for Summer A. The class itself was very interesting, however it was a lot of information to grasp in such a short period of time. Professor Henry was my favorite professor this semester. Though attendance is mandatory, if you have a good reason to why you couldnt show to class you wont have anything against you. We did have one 750 word essay and two 350 word essays. I liked the class and he encourages participation.

Professor Henry is a respectful professor, and never takes it out on his students. His class is generally easy, and Professor does want all students to pass. However, I see that many students have the same problem I did, he waits until last minute to grade essays, which are a heavy component of the grade.

Prof. Henry is a great teacher who gives super interesting lectures. Class is very easy, and he will send vocab word lists before quizzes. This makes them very easy as long as you check your e-mail. Professor Henry is great. He has really great lectures and you really learn a lot of interesting things. There is an art and group project that I really enjoyed. Most assignments and quizzes are simple except for the midterm and final which you really need to make sure you study for. Each assignment counts and your grade can very easily go down.

Amazing professor, the way he gets your attention and tells the stories from the textbook is just fascinating, it feels like while listening you can imagine exactly what is happening in the story. If you take it I recommend do all the extra credits because the assignments are tricky and it's easy to lose points by not paying attention.

Other than the fact that he leaves most of the heavy assignments to the last days of the semester, he is one of the best professors! Super chill lectures and he cracks a bunch of jokes. 2 major exams (including final) and some general projects, such as a food project. Assignments are not hard at all. Very doable. If you're a freshman, take him!

I learned what artifacts are, the importance of materials used for engineering inventions, and prehistoric civilizations in the world. I have already had a major jump in productive artifact review based on his emphasis on sourcing material. He also emphasized the geographical source of the artifacts. I 100% recommend. Take accurate notes!

He's a cool professor you can tell he likes teaching. He never replies to emails though. Group projects and essays but they are pretty easy. Only a few things are graded and 3 of them weigh a big part of your grade so be careful. You can take his tests and exams at home. Pretty easy class if you learn all the vocab and write notes though.
