Pretty hard teacher but not too bad
No Comments
Class takes a very in-depth aspect into the history of Latin America. If you do not like taking notes or reading this is not the class for you. If you keep studying(everyday 2 hours) you will come out ahead.
He is absolutely horrible and sends people to Honor Council for forgetting a closing quotation mark on a ROUGH DRAFT, even if the source is cited. He should go somewhere far far away from here because he is the worst teacher on campus by far.
He has been the worse professor I've ever had. His lectures are boring and he couldn't even keep me interested... and i'm spanish! I hope he doesn't come back here.. he should retire.
Liked him a lot. DOn't take the class unless you are a Latin Am studies minor/Spanish major. Goes very indepth. The papers will kill you if you don't cite them right, LEARN TO USE FOOTNOTES! Come to class and take notes-you'll be fine.
HE WANTS TOO MUCH FOR A 6 WEEK COURSE. THE ONLY REASON I TOOK 201 WITH HIM IN THE SUMMER IS BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY TIME I CAN FIT IT IN. OTHER THEN THAT HE IS A NICE MAN BUT NOT A GOOD TEACHER.
Very Demanding teacher. Take this guy if you want to improve as a student. He does not give away grades. They have to be earned.
do not take this professor if you aren't a history major. extremely demanding! but a good guy, and very knowledgable. still, most of the class failed, and these are aspiring historians in a 200 level course! a very hard grader.
I hated this class. He was an aweful prof i studied my ass off for the first two tests and made F's, on the third test i didn't look at any info and made a C.Tests didn't pertain to info.DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. #1 GPA KILLER!!!!!!! info was interesting but not a fair grader and not helpful.
An old school hard core professor...I hated him but I learned!...Tough love!...His other classes were okay..but damn he'll massacre your writing!

If you do not want your GPA to suffer, do not take this class. I had a 4.0 going into this class, I don't now. I am a very hard working and dilligent student. I studied like crazy for his tests, but the questions are VERY unreasonable. I don't know why he is still on the staff of ODU, He shouldn't be.

I am spanish and very proud of my culture, but he takes anything interesting about it and makes it the most boring thing you ever heard. Most of his lectures are irrelevant and he talks like he's doing a discovery channel special everyday. HIs quizzes are unnecessarily hard. He makes latinos look bad!
A TERRIBLE TEACHER ...VERY HARD AND UNFAIR
The most boring lecture I've had to sit through. All you do it take notes, so if that's your thing- go for it. He grades essays VERY tough. Not a fun class, I wouldn't recommend it.
Do not take this class! He is incredibly demanding yet incredibly vague as to what he want. His class killed my GPA. He also has this "high and mighty" attitude toward students and wouldn't help you out if your life depended on it. Stay far away from him!
I am a History major and I failed horribly in this class. He is very knowledgable BUT if you need help you can not get a straight answer. His test are very picky and hard to study for. Also his test or on the computer and he gives yo limited time. Be aware! If you can skip on taking his class....Do it!!
I took his class in the spring of 04... i think. All i know is that i failed. Along with the other 98 people who failed. The class total was 104. So i ask you ... Is it the students or the teacher? Basically, if you want to lower your GPA, take the class!
He gives assignments which are extremely dificult, that's fine, but then he gives you very little help in completing them. I needed help and he was useless, luckily I got a good grade, but it is only a miracle.
Teaches at a graduate level, requires excessive reading, writting, and WILL lower your GPA. Acts omnipotent towards students while at the same time promoting books from his publisher (Oxford) as mandatory readings, in which have no resale value to school. Unless you have no choice, avoid at all cost!Class averages and succes rates are terrible!
i immediately changed my major after failing this class. He is the most arrogant man i have ever met. I know this is college and you should expect more work, but this guy is freaking nuts. Speaks down to everyone and is an overall jackA**.
I took Dr. Holden years ago (class no. may be wrong)for grad level Modern Latin America - as well as independent studies. Be prepared to work hard, learn a tremendous amount & listen intently. ODU is lucky to have him & so will you be if you are a serious student. Get through the arrogance & ask him for help - his classes are worth the challenge.
WORST CLASS YOU WILL EVER TAKE! For the love of God DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! NO ONE CARES! IF YOU EVER READ THIS, NO ONE GIVES A**** ABOUT LATIN AMERICAN HISTORY! I learned NOTHING from your class. I HATED your class. I am not saying he is a bad person but GOD DAMN this class was IMPOSSIBLE to do well in. He grades everything SO UNFAIRLY...
very mono-tone. He did not care about the students. Had trouble with other issues and he could care less. And I am in the army so I am use to hard personalities...its a difference between difficult personalities (Iraq Veterans) and total apathy(from a pampered civilian). Apathy is never good, even if you have been teaching for a thousand years.
The Prof is hard no question. But he is willing to help if you go to his office and ask for it. And once he knows you are having trouble he is very good about checking up on you.
Guy is briliant, but a pain to deal with..way to hard for a undergrad, you will enjoy his class if you have a lot of time, if you are crunched on time..dONT TAKE IT
Don't be scared by a all the bad reviews. OK, so he doesn't believe in easy A's and there is a lot of work, but this is college! You'll learn a lot in his class and he talks about things that matter. Do the reading, come to class, and take notes and you will be fine. If you go to see him during office hours he is very helpful!
He's really not that bad. The people who said that he wasn't helpful were probably just too scared to go ask him for help. Don't take him if you are looking for an easy A or if you have no interest in history because it can be boring at times. He likes it when you ask questions and involve yourself in the discussions. He'll grade easier if you do.
This teacher suck ass. Yes, he try to help the students, but he is just a jerk. What I want to say is that I don't need his help. He give the student the impossible mission. I just want to finish my history lesson. I don't want to spend most of my time on this weird class and still fail!!!
Prof. Holden is a tough teacher especially for a 103 course. However, he is a wealth of information and very easy to talk to if you don't ask stupid questions. He's a good guy and will help you if you ask for it. It also helps to be prepared for class; this is college after all!
Lots of reading in this class. Good teacher, but hard and lots of work. You must go to class to pass. Test are 25 questions and you get one minute to figure out the answer. You will also have to do 2 essays
I was looking forward to this class, but was I in for a rude awakening. He's rather monotone and it's difficult to understand him sometimes. I studied hard for the tests and the best score I got was an 85. His tests are ridiculous, and he grades essays as if they were a writing exam! My gpa was greatly affected. I would suggest that you avoid him.
This professor is like a good doctor with HORRIBLE bedside manners. Sarcastic and cold. I would not recommend him to students who are new to college. Lots of reading. Extremely DRY lecture. You can study your *** off but still have a hard time passing quizzes and tests. Good luck to any who take this man!
Profesor Holden requires alot of background reading and outside learning though doe not make the extent of this clear, i.e. he won't tell you but you realise that you need to survive. expects people to have a good background to more advanced courses.
The negativity and arrogant personality is astounding. Assumes students are already experts in Latin Amer./Carribbean history beforehand. His expectations definitely are unreasonable if not insane. Someone needs to tell him that the purpose of college is to LEARN and NOT to fail students.
SMART PROFESSOR, BUT VERY RUDE TO PEOPLE. HE WILL MASSACRE YOUR WRITING. SHOULD NOT BE A HISTORY TEACHER, BUT A ENGLISH TEACHER. GOOD LUCK FOR EVERYONE WHO IS TAKING HIM IN OTHER CLASSES THAT HE MIGHT BE TEACHING IN THE FUTURE.
THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD IN MY WHOLE EXPEIENCE AT ODU. DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BECAUSE HE WILL LOWER YOUR GPA!!!!!
To say Dr. Holden is a bad teacher, or unclear, is wrong. The mans' syllabus is 7 pages long, and carefully delineates EVERYTHING he expects from his students, down to citation on his essays. If you can't suck it up, do your work, and write on a collegiate level, then please don't take him. For those who can pull their weight, his class is great.
Ignore the bad reviews, unless you're lazy, don't care about learning anything, and just want to get through the requirement. He is brilliant and you will learn a lot. He has high standards but lets you know what he expects and if you go to office hours he will help you. It's not an easy A, but this is college!
The Worst Teacher Ever! Do not take him if you are not a history major, he sucks.
Most of the negative comments you are reading are from slacker students. He makes everything clear from the very beginning what he expects and what you can expect. Go to class, do you work and you'll pass. If you think he's tough, you'll never be able to deal with a boss. I'd take him again.
Really difficult. Not a freshman class!
EXTREMELY HARD! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! As an engineering major, I couldn't care less about history, but Holden made it possible. He is extremely cruel to his class, he doesn't post notes and he requires you to read too much. Did he forget that this was a 100 level class? AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COST!
Extremely hard class in regards to it being a 100 level course. I've take 300 and 400 level courses that were not this strenuousness. His Online test mess you up the first time. He lectures but provides no notes. He will report you for plagiarism without talking to you and does not really make the course interesting. Avoid him if possible.
He is a great teacher. He gives you a very specific syllabus and tells you exactly what you have to do. If you follow the syllabus exactly the class is a breeze. You do have to read though and go to class but he uses power points so its easy.
Professional Professor: does not take crap. Come to class, read & think. Really silly for people to expect the notes to be posted or for him to teach History different because it isn't your major. Also, if you plagiarized it isn't his responsibility to tell you before reporting. Do you expect him to contact you about your final grade before due?
GO TO CLASS. I cant stress this enough. He assigns huge amounts of reading; from the book and primary source documents and it is impossible to cover it all every week for class. His lectures are very organized and helpful. Plus most of the questions that are on the exams are discussed in class. He is very serious about plagiarism so dont attempt it
Very difficult teacher! Lots of reading! have to go to class to get background information to relearn the information. Tests are on blackboard but are timed and are difficult. If you have a lot of time to devote to this class than take it but if not take another history because it will hurt your GPA. Paper topics are broad but expectations specific
PLEASE AVOID TAKING THIS MAN'S CLASS!!! His class is extremely hard and very difficult to understand. You must go to class EVERYDAY!!! And his test are online which timed and you can not go back to change your answers! He has two at home essays for you take, he act like he's an English teacher. And you must be in class on time he locks the door!
Dont Take this class with this teacher if you have other classes. A whole lot of work and extensive reading is required! Go to class or you will fail!
Be prepared for A TON of work. You have a textbook, primary documents, and powerpoints to read everynight! His tests are HARD! You will be spending a ton of time doing homework and writing essays. I would choose a different professor for this class.
Do not take for Gen. Ed.
He is the worst professor I've had at my time at odu. He degrades his students and makes you feel like an idiot. He revels in sarcasm and is useless when it comes to helping you. Avoid his class at all costs if you want to keep your gpa up and be successful.
He was extremely hard. It was a lecture and you have to sign up for another discussion class for this class. He lives out of the book that you need to purchase and he grades relatively hard. There are some exams but they are all on bb. The papers are very strict and have to have specific sources. Attend class and READ!..youll get a good grade!
hard class, lots and lots of reading. the book he chose was very boring and hard to understand.
Do not tke this class. It is the least interetsing class ive ever taken. The material is dry and he takes it way to seriously for a 100 level course.
I wouldn't take this class if I knew how it would be. I didnt do well in the class. Got a D. But thats cause I didn't read or go to class. If you do read and go to class you will get a much better grade. The material is not very interesting and he's not the nicest guy, but then again he's not paid to be nice
He gives 100 pages a night to read and if you dont put in atleast 9 hours a week into studying for the class you won't get higher than a D-.
Horrible professor, not helpful at all. I went in for help on a paper he assigned and followed his suggestions he gave me, still received a C-. Lecture and notes are very bad. Not a likable person and assigns redundant readings and papers.Do not take this prof. you will regret it.
Terrible class. By far my least favorite class I've taken at ODU. His tests and what he expects on papers are tougher than every 300 level course I was in. Avoid taking any classes with him.
this dude was HORRIBLE. he assigned more reading for his 100 level class than i have had in all my other classes combined. his ta's are pretty chill and even they say this guy is an ass and a bad professor. his lectures are so boring. if you take his class, may god have mercy on your soul...... and your gpa
Holden was way too old school, tests online but even if you were to cheat and use your notes youd get c's or d's. way too much information to grasp, lecture style was him up there talking, not outline,TA's in discussion portion graded hard.DONT take!he grades very hard, tests very hard, expects way to much for a 100 level course.
reading for this class was out of a novel like little text book that made it impossible to grasp information from. WAY too much information to go through to study for tests. tests were hard everyone failed, i spent so much time on this class my other grades dropped, had to focus ALL on this class to receive a solid b, i wouldn't take him
DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN, if you can help it! Hes MEAN, and For a 100 level course he was extremely hard. Tons of reading, Test are difficult, Textbook is long and takes tons of time to get info from it. No study guides, no extra credit. Manged a B- after working my Ass off. If you don't want to struggle and go thru hell, take someone else!
Dr. Holden is a wonderful professor. He assumes you will read the required material, complete assignments, arrive to class prepared and on time, and actively participate in discussions. He is not employed by ODU to distrubute A's to students who do not deserve them. If you want to be challenged and learn something, Dr. Holden is amazing.
AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COST!!! FIRSTLY LATIN AMERICAN HISTORY IS HORRIBLE AND PROFESSOR HOLDEN ONLY MAKES IT WORST! THE DISCUSSION SECTION IS COOL BUT THE ACTUAL CLASS IS AWFUL! HE'S VAGUE AND DOES PURE DICTATION AND THE TEST ARE CONFUSING! THE BOOK IS NO TEXTBOOK ITS A NOVEL! HORRRRRRRRIBLE!!!!!!!
this guy is the worst teacher i have ever seen. the way he speaks during lectures remind me of the actor ben stein because he is so monotone and boring. i hate this class and i especially hate him. he is a terrible teacher and goes through his lectures too fast to take detailed notes. i ditched his class in the first 3 weeks of classes. BEWARE!!!!!
Take this class if you want to fail. This is the truth way to hard for its level 100. I failed can't wait to take it all over again YAY!!!! NOT
I had a terrible time taking this class. Many people fail his class. The quizzes and test are very hard. This class is waaaay to hard for a 100 level class. Avoid at all costs!
Professor Holden is demanding but you walk away a stronger historian and better student. Lazy is not an option and lots of reading is expected. He is a great professor and knows his stuff. Recommend for those who are ready and serious to grow as a historian.
Not sure how this is even considered a 100 level class. Very difficult to follow and boring to the point of exhaustion. I don't recommend this for freshmen
If you are looking for an easy "A" for a GenEd course than this isn't the class for you. The class is challenging and has alot of information foreign to most. However, Professor Holden is upfront and tells you exactly that in the syllabus. He is demanding and expects you to work hard but he is more than willing to work with you. Learned alot
If you are just looking for for a Gen. Ed. Requirement, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I am an international studies major with a focus in Latin America with a prior interest in this subject. Dr. Holden is tough, the tests and quizzes are certainly not the easiest, but he will work with you and if you come to class and study, you will do well.Good class
The absolute worst teacher I have ever had. Unless you are obsessed with history and want to be challenged, you will hate this class. This was the worst mistake I could have ever made as a freshman. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! I am trying to save you all! Be prepared for a novel of a text book, and impossibles test/quizzes.
He's not good at feedback. Really tough teacher and his TA gradesmost of the work so if you do take it meet with them
Professor Holden is very intelligent, knows the material really well and is helpful when you go to his office hours. However, as an undergrad student who took his class I felt like I was in a PhD program! The amount of reading is unbelievable!!!
Taking him right now. He is super hard. You always have to do your readings out of 2 textbooks. Williamson (the textbook) is really hard to read and half the time i dont grasp anything. Lectures have like 5 pages of notes ESSENTIAL TO PASSING! His test are essays and short answers so they require you know your stuff.
Terrible professor. Not very helpful with much. Missed a few classes and he wouldn't tell me what I missed.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! Especially if you just need it for a Gen Ed! He assigns alot of reading and his lectures are boring. I took him for Historical Methods and he did not even teach the objective of the class. I HATE THIS CLASS and I am probably going to drop this class.
I LOVE PROF. HOLDEN !! He has awesome lectures that you feel that you don't even have to read but it helps a lot to read. He is incredibly helpful and one of the very very few professors to give a study guide for the exams! I would totally love to have him again and I hate history but he made it fun!
Do not take this class if you are expecting an easy A in history. He is very passionate about what he teaches and you can tell he knows a lot about it. The reading is a must! And attendance is key to not failing, missing a class is missing five pages of notes. There are only about 4 or 5 grades in the whole semester so be careful.
Holden is a tough professor. You should not take this class if you are looking for an easy A. This class will require a lot of your time to be devoted to reading and studying. Tests WILL require you to know your stuff. It is very helpful to go to lectures, although they are boring sometimes. He will do his best to help you if you ask.
He was literally the worst teacher that I have ever had in my entire college career. His lecture style is dry and boring. He doesn't clarify during in-class "study sessions." He has a weird rule about not using the restroom during class, otherwise you will lost points for attendance.
I took this class as an easy A to fill my schedule in my last semester. He was very understanding when things come up but this class is hard. Tests are all written. Attendance is mandatory. He allows two absences and after that you lose 2 points from your final grade. It is a very good class if you want to learn a lot but you will work for it.
Yeah I just finished my freshman year and I took him my first semester. It' s true that once he starts lecture you can't use the bathroom or you will be marked absent. :/ Didn't hate him I'm just used to challenging work (was homeschooled a few years) so I found it hard but I put the time in. Don't take for Gen Ed. THIS IS NOT AN EASY A. Good luck.
This has literally been the hardest class of my whole life! You must read the book entirely! He expects you to read the book before the second class. Take notes and always date them! He doesn't give any sympathy and attendance is mandatory otherwise he will take off points! Always pay attention. This class is honestly going through hell!
Professor Holden's class is not so tough if you do the assigned work. Two kinds of people take his class. Those who want to learn and those who want to pass. He is strict but fair. Those who appreciate his style understand that he's trying to bring out the most in our abilities. Those who don't think that a degree is automatic with any effort.
If your'e taking this class just to fulfill a history gen ed, don't bother. Prof. Holden is strict but rightfully so, I appreciated his passion for and great knowledge of Latin America. This class is difficult for a 100 level course and his lectures are boring and long but he says good stuff.
He takes off 2 points from your FINAL GRADE: for every time you're late, absent, leave early, use your phone, or talk. He grades hard, lectures are long, monotone and boring. only take if you have to - if you wanna pass read the assigned stuff/skim do 3 out 5 quizzes all onlin, midterm/final STUDY!! go hard on analysis. speak in class 3 ec points
His class is very hard for an introductory class. He's dry and talks in the same boring tone of voice in all of his lectures. Yes he knows much about what he is teaching about, but his class is hard. I would not recommend this professor at all. There is a lot of reading involved. I want to punch my past self for registering for his class.
I'm a history major and I love history. This professor takes everything that is interesting and beautiful about history and strips it away to bare, dry bones. The book he uses is somehow worse. If you are kinetic or visual learner, you will die in this class as his approach is old-fashioned, ineffective rote memorization.
Ive had abysmal professors, and Dr. Holden is not one of them. He is a scholar through and throughI dont recommend this class if you yourself do not have a love of history. This class is difficult because it discusses a region that does not have cookie cutter origins. It is very diverse and it can be hard to summarize in one semester. He tries.
Be ready to read the book, the online quizzes he makes them very difficult, and you are graded from two in class exams, five online quizzes and one country essay. Lectures are long and boring.
Tough grader on essays and very long, uninteresting lectures. The online quizzes weren't really that hard as long as you have the notes and the textbook & you could take them as many times as you like. but the problem was that I couldn't see which questions I got wrong which defeats the purpose of learning from them.
terrible teacher. It was an Absolutely miserable time
The entire class is based upon the text book which is very difficult to understand. There is no outside help for his class, and offers little to no clarification. I would not take his class again, his lectures are dry and difficult to understand.
You are better off picking a different history class (Like European History). He is knowledgeable about Latin American history, but the way he presents it is not that great. A challenge is awaiting you if you're really want this class, so you need to think carefully before taking this course.
Each class is a lecture. Powerpoint heavy. It's a little hard to stay awake. You may not want to but the best way to stay alert is to participate. He seems to appreciate students who participate and you never know how that'll help out . He also docks letter grades for repeated offenses of missing class, phones out, misbehavior, etc.
There are lots of reading assignments for this class which is to be suspected in a history course. The exams aren't too bad. He is just very particular in the content he wants. I suggest that he provides students with a rubric and more academic support, especially since this is his first time teaching this course on the undergrad level.
3 tests which consists of essays (topics given before exam) and final is not cumulative. He expects you to at least be familiar with required readings each class, so I would highly recommend doing the homework! It is a lot of reading for a 100 level class but it was worth it for me and my interests!
Terrible feedback, doesnt know what hes talking about majority of the time. What he says is different than whats in the textbook.
To start the semester, we had 15 students, an average size for an upper level history course. In the end, 5 five were left. I stayed because of the challenge, and he does challenge you to become a better historian. He grades tough, takes off points for absences, but if you study hard you'll be fine. Not an easy class, but I'm glad I stayed.
To be conpletely honest he is an awful professor he grades really hard to the point you can answer the question fully and he will still take points awful DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS
He is extremely sarcastic. He also doesnt give extra credit or second chances, during class he is very mono- tone. Also the notes and dates do not match his online quizzes or textbook.
rude and unhelpful.
What's supposed to be maybe 3 hours of work per week turns into 10, all just to scrape the bottom of the barrel for a C. This is a 100 level class that he treats like a 400 level and teaches it with the most monotone and unhelpful tone. There is no room for error and he assigns LOTS of reading from a very difficult book to grasp. Beware.
Worst professor ever. The textbook he uses is so long and dense its hard to grasp anything and he doesnt give ANY guidance as to what we should write for notes or what we need to know. He deducts points for nothing and then wont tell you what you did wrong. HE IS A VERY TOUGH GRADER! His midterm and final are timed essays
Very harsh grader. Takes off points for petty reasons.
Dr. Holden is definitely very knowledgable and I'm sure if you are a history major with an absolute LOVE for the subject, you may enjoy his class. However, I am not a history major. Tons of reading, very difficult quizzes, and long lectures. TOUGH GRADER. Like I said, if you love history, you might like his class, but otherwise trust me and skip it
I highly suggest you rethink taking this course. He is a very tough grader and there is plenty to read in this course. What should only take 3 hours to do at most, takes much longer, and even if you believe you're doing well and are using your skills and applying them to the hw and exams he will take off points for petty reasons. Also very RUDE
Worst professor ever. I spoke to him about getting my grade up very early on, I listened to everything he told me to do. HE STILL FAILED ME. He only gave me feedback on my forums twice and the readings took way longer than they should have to find the information needed. The midterm, final, and quizzes are extremely hard.
Pos:Not essay heavy. quizzes get 2 attempts. Negs:He's very critical of your forum posts, midterm and final essays. His lectures are long and boring. He speaks with a monotone voice. If you dare fast-forward through the lecture you may miss something he says for 4 secs that he will put on the quiz. Class is doable but wouldve preferred another prof
Majority of assignments are discussion posts which grades overly harshly and has extremely high expectations of. He expects you to be able to give extremely detailed and thorough responses to multiple weekly study questions, which would be completely fine if he didn't have a hard cap of only being able to write 150 words per discussion post.
I have taken over 70 credits for my degree and he is BY FAR the WORST professor I have ever had. He is an extremely difficult grader, has one assignment per week, is not lenient, and treats every class like a graduate course. If you are a history major, he is good, if you are not, RUN!!!
I dropped this because I felt like I would fail. He's rude and doesn't explain how he wants things. He told me I was not citing and using the book for sources when I would state the authors name and the page number and quotes of what I was using and it was not good enough.
There is way too much reading for the little information you need from the textbook. The only grades are tests, quizzes, and discussion board posts. Don't expect to be successful, because it isn't possible with him. Somehow using groupme is cheating, even though exams are proctored... The most burdensome professor at odu. Take another class!!
Like the rest of ODU's history dept, neurotic and tends to treat students with disdain and/or suspicion. Lenient grader, but tough commenter (weird, right?) Will take issue with things that are matters of interpretation as if they were cut-and-dry facts. Glad this was an online async class. Can't imagine what interacting w/ him in person is like.
If you value your grades- BEWARE. Discussion boards are impossible even if perfect by criteria. His class is by far the most time consuming of any class I have ever taken, be prepared to spend 12+ hours on his class a week, and the requirements are impossible to meet. He managed to ruin what might've been a fascinating class. Don't do it.
horrible Midterm and final are two essays 500 words and you only have 60 minutes have to know each lecture very clearly. lectures are hours long and there's more than one video for each module You HAVE to read the book or not passing. For majors who only need one history credit like me this was an awful class to invest in too much effort for 3 cred
the things he puts students through will get him a striaght trip to he!! save urself before its too late i promise dont make the mistake of taking him.
