I think he is a great teacher. I learned a lot from him, he is very patient and will always take the time to help you. He does sometimes tell you one thing and then tell you something different the next but if you tell him he'll ok it.

He is a sweet guy! You gotta love someone with a sense of humor. And he takes this site seriously! LOL.

Take him for tech writing. It's pretty easy and you'll learn something along the way.

Every student should take technical writing, especially from Dr. Holderer. Whether it is engineering or fine art, he will teach you how to write good resumes, cover letters, memos and proposals. Very computer savvy. These skills are a must for ANY job!

Adolescent lit is the best. Holderer is a great teacher and know what you will need for a job in education. I am taking him again next semester for ENGL525 - composition theory. A must take professor.

If you want to learn with ease, no homework ever, no quizes or exams, and get some good and helpful information about the Univerisity take Dr. Holderer you will not be disappointed. Advise: come to class, do the assignments in class and it will be an easy A, plus he might test you out of Eng 101

Had Dr. Holderer for Composition Theory (a new class for English Education majors) this semester. All I can say is WOW. The knowledge and assignments we did this semester will make getting a job that much easier. This is a must take course and professor.

I think Dr. Holderer is a great teacher. He is willing to help any student that is willing to help themselves. Don't expect him to know you are struggling ask him. He is very kind to those who need help and ask for it. As for those who don't you're fault. He may talk a little to much, but that is besides the point. I recommend him to others.

Talks about random stuff that has nothing to do with the papers. Gets along with the non-traditional students. Easy, if your work is late make up a excuse he will belive you. Highly recomended. Have a friend go to class to sign you in. He will never know

I loved Dr. Holdere, He is helpful and understanding. I still have his class now and I recommend all freshman that have to take English 010 should take Dr. Holdere........Believe me......

Very easy class, no due dates just hand in when your done, can have people sign you in, all classes are work session classes, no quiz or test, easy A....just do the work. don't bother buying the book.

He is a very good professor. He is helpful if you ask questions and he is easy going. His class isnt very interesting, but as long as you do your papers and read the book material, you will be fine. There are 6 papers due throughout the semester.

Makes you write a lot, but it's worth it. He grades easily too, so it's hard to get a bad grade in his class. Good sense of humor, and a nice guy kind of professor.

Great teacher...really helpful with things...made an 8am class easy to attend!!! Dr. Bob is very easy on deadlines but if you don't attend don't expect to get an A on everything. Makes class interesting and has alot of information to give!! OVERALL GREAT!!

A very clean cut, well dressed man. He puts time and effort into making his class interesting and enjoyable. He does enjoying talking quite a bit, but he also gives students ample time to do their assignments in class. He is very helpful with assignments, and it's very easy to get an A if you do the work and attend class.

Highly recommend! He teaches english. Provides enough time to complete assignments, provides feedback and allows you to resubmit assignments to improve grades.

Dr. Bob is an exceptional professor who genuinely cares about the success of his students. Give your best effort and there is no reason for not getting an A or at worst, a B in his class. Edinboro doesn't realize the passion this man brings to his classes. His knowledge is exceptional. He is not afraid to share his opinion and listen to yours.

Dr. Holderer is very nice and is a great professor. He gives you all the chances in the world to get a good grade. If you have a problem with him it's because you aren't working. He really is a great professor. I would highly recommend him.

Nice guy. Paper is assigned on a Monday, rough draft is due the next monday, and final draft due the next monday. Gives you back rough drafts in time to make corrections before handing in final draft. Says he will give you class time to work on papers, but never does. He talks about random stuff and is pretty boring. If you want an easy A, take him

Dr. H is a great guy! He may go off on tangents from time to time but you can tell he really cares about his students. He assigns topics that are pretty easy to write about and gives you 2 weeks to complete them, which in my opinion is more than enough time! He is always available for help or to answer questions and you can tell he cares.

Great teacher, really creats an independence in the class. If you dont have personal motivation you should not take this class. You will love going to class, he is always warm and inviting.

Very nice man. Talks a lot, but cares about his students. Gives a lot of extra credit. Online quizzes are a breeze, uses email a lot, and assignments are not too difficult. Lets you resubmit your work and has flexible deadlines. No final. You will enjoy his class and learn something.

Took this class online over the summer, best decision I could have made. Dr. Holderer is extremely helpful, extremely understanding, and possibly the nicest, most dedicated professor I have had so far. He gives you many opportunities to succeed . His assignments are thoughtful and not busy-work. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Bob (as he likes to be called) is a very easy professor. Show up and put minimal effort into his assignments and you'll get an A. He is obsessed with doing things his way though, so be prepared for that. He will tear your work apart 3 times before just giving you an A in the end.

He blathers on forever but I do really like him. He's a genuinely nice guy who cares about his students. It's an easy A because most of the templates are online, you just need to follow the examples he gives. The only thing I don't like is that he tells everyone something different. He does give lots of chances for corrections, though.

Dr. Bob is one of the best professors that I will ever have in college. He truly cared about my writing and how I was doing as a person. He will tell you so many stories, but he uses them as examples to help you as much as possible. I really loved his class.
