Passionate professor. His tests are a little confusing, he words things weird. READ THE BOOK!! I can't stress it enough. You don't have to know it word for word, but a general idea of the history in there will pay dividends. Listen to the areas he covers in class and read up on them in the book.

if you love BORING then this is your professor! his tests do not make sense at all! i have no idea how i passed! each test question has three multiple choice options. one is totally wrong, one is his opinion, and one is the correct answer. he does not use powerpoint or anything! he lectures all hour, very boring and hard to pay attention

Overall the funniest professor I've had. His lectures and little comments and sidenotes are hilarious. I already went into the course knowing everything there was to know about it, so that might have helped. But if you already likeknow history and need to fill some credits, he's your man.
