He has been teaching for years so I'm not sure why he doesn't have any reviews? Anyways, first week into class and this is NOT a blow off class. By far one of my most involved online classes ever. Many assignments with 300 word count addition you have to responds to 8 PEOPLE weekly. All of my other participation is 2 people. good luck!

Great professor. The group projects were easy but only if you have a solid team. Discussion boards were relatively easy.. just put some thought into it. Tests weren't to tuff, but you want to study. I'd recommend him if you're willing to work.

Really good professor, class is relatively easy if you use common sense. Group project are easy just go in the Internet and pull the information.

This class is great! Just be prepared for a lot of assignments and a final assignment in week 7-8. No group projects. No weekly tests. Just 2 tests, 1 at the beginning and 1 at the end. He answered all my emails and answered all my concerns. Great professor! I hope to have him again!

Excellent professor, homework is fairly easy but there is a lot of it. only had to take 3 or 4 test that can be tricky. Always there is you need him. Gives extra credit. Knows a lot about the business aspect. He really is involved in his students and want you to know about whats going on in the world. took business 1010, the homework will save you

He is an amazing teacher. His class is not hard but you have to read the book for the exams. He will give you a study guide and he offers many extra credit as well. I ended up getting A in his class.

Great professor. Knowledgeable, and response to your discussing questions in a professional manner. Knows a lot about the industry of Supply Chain and wants students to succeed.

He is a great teacher! He explains everything in great detail, and tells you exactly what he wants on homework and projects. You wont pass the class if you don't read the book, and test are very difficult.

Professor James gives you all the tools needed to get an A; lecture PowerPoints and notes are downloadable from Canvas, along with practice tests and study guides. Tests can be difficult but he allows you to get 10 questions wrong before affecting your score. Regular homework, 4 tests, group project, and no final - overall a great teacher.

Online Class, Easy A but you need to work for it. Four Discussions/Assignments a week, Participation by responding to 5 classmates a week, two 10 question quizzes, 1 final project. The book is a must, one assignment based on the book each week. Do the work and you'll get an A.

Weekly 10 question Quiz which are relatively easy. Weekly Discussion question with 5 responses which is your class participation, Weekly Case/Video case study, weekly assignment. Do the work and you should get an A no problem. Highly recommend this teacher. I've had him 3 times.

Don't buy MCC edition book, its over priced when the author version is the SAME save yourself the $60 difference. Great Professor, Weekly 25 question quizzes in Mindtap, Weekly Discussion with 5 responses, Weekly Assignment, Weekly case/video case study. Do the work and you'll get the A. Highly recommend this teacher, I wish he taught more classes.

Really captures the attention of students during lectures because he is very passionate about business and makes it interesting. Hands down best professor I've had yet.

Professor James truly has a passion for teaching business. He really opened me up to the world of business. He is very knowledgeable about it and if you pay attention, you can really learn a lot. All assignments are submitted online through canvas.

Really nice guy, easy assignments, fun lectures, not a lot of work.

Few in class assignments that you work on with the people you sit by. Before every test, you get to take a pre-test online as many times as you want for xtra cred. His tests arent really hard, but they arent super easy. Listen and take notes, and you should have no problem. You get xtra cred if you never miss a day or if you only miss one day.

Professor James is fair. I am taking two of his online summer classes and though I am personally going through a lot right now I am still managing a B.. if you apply yourself you will do great. Its not an "easy" A but if do the work as it says on time you should be able to get an A or at least a high B

Every week is the same for homework. 1 current application, 1 case study, 1 discussion/web exercise, 10 question true/false quiz, lessons learned, and replies on discussions as well. I did the work every week and got 100's on everything. Very easy, just time consuming with amount. Quizzes opened Fridays and closed Saturdays, i didn't like that.

Cool dude. Keeps everyone engaged in the topic we go over during the class. Great teacher I learned a lot. He has great personal stories and I wouldnt mind having this teacher again

The best professor ever

BEST professor in the world. Super funny and nice. He makes lectures interesting and really wants you to understand the material . Homework submitted online, 4 tests, and a couple in class assignments. You need attend class in order to pass because his exams are super specific based on what he talks about. Strict on phones and sleeping in class

He is cool. Gives alot of extra credit and I guess that's how I passed his classes. The group project was alright. Overall he is a easy grader. Doesn't even check the work but make sure you do the work. Be sure you're on time to turn in your homework or assignments. Overall he is good man!

He is a great guy! If you take him surely you will love him. Give a lot of extra credits opportunity. Test are kind of tricky, but if you study youll do well for sure. He answers every single question form outside of class. Cares about students future.

Mr. James is a wonderful teacher. I took my first college class with him and it was easier than I expected. He cares about his students and wants them to engage in the subject. He makes learning about business kind of fun, he knows what he's doing and he's doing it well.

He was ok! Not a hard class, but you need to have your camera on the whole time. Only problem I had was the tests where kinda long and not enough time. Thats it. Over all Id take him.

Great teacher. He gives real experience to class and the hot dog stand was a great project to do for the class. He helps teach people skills and that's something we all need.

I took the class 100% online and it was fairly easy. Homework and participation heavy, but the outlines that he provided helped and a lot of the work was based off definitions. Overall, not too terrible of a class.

Great professor, just be prepared for heavy load of hw it can take up to 3-4 hours. Those assignments are due before each lecture, if you gonna take this class online GOOD LUCK the reading activities are LONG! Attendance is mandatory. Exams are on proctorio awful spy system! You need to do the work to pass, extra credit opportunities available

Professor James is a great educator and does a really good job lecturing on topics that honestly are super beneficial for the real world. Youll definitely learn the basics of business in his class. Only down side is that he assigns plenty homework that can take HOURS to do and theres plenty of reading. The tests are just like his homework though.

Never had a professor whose lectures were as interesting as his. In every class, you actually learned something new from someone with experience who knew exactly what he was talking about. If you put in even a small bit of effort you will come out learning a lot.

Professor Bob is such an amazing teacher. He truly cares about his students and is so helpful. He responds to emails in a timely manner and if you need help he is there. One of the best teachers I have ever had. I would definitely recommend him. He is very straight forward about what he wants and expects from students.

I really like Professor James. He gives lots of opportunities for extra credit, and he always responds to emails pretty quickly. You do have to read the textbook, but if you do the homework your grade will be fine.

If you do what you're supposed to do you will be fine. He is very understanding and forgiving. The only thing I did not like about this class is how hard the chapter exams are. There are 4 exams throughout the semester and they are very difficult in terms of understanding and memorizing the chapter content.

I am shocked by all the bad reviews. His class is pretty straight forward without too much homework. Assignments are well explained and he is great with answering questions. I learned a lot from his class and look forward to taking more of his classes. Very knowledgeable in business topics and ideas

This was my first class I ever took as a first year college student in August 2022, and I absolutely liked the professor. I like is teaching style, and he was chill. The only downside to that class is that the test is very hard to do, the paper he gives us we have to write 500 words minimum, and the reading homework took forever to do.

This is not a difficult class, you just need to be prepared to spend a lot of time reading, but even without putting in the best effort that I could have because on top of school, I work full time and have other responsibilities. I still got a B. Read and do the assignments and you will do decent if not great.

You have to be there every day for pop quizzes and in-class assignments, or he will deduct those points. Be on time or you will not be able to take the pop quizzes. Pay attention to canvas for everything too. The chapter assignments are very long. Exams are easy. Pay attention to everything to make sure the syllabus is being followed.

I was originally intimidated by the class but if you read the notes and skim the text, you'll do fine on the tests. The connect assignments are easy and fully credited just by completion, he offers extra credit as well. The worst part was the weekly discussion boards, but that's only because I don't enjoy writing.

Very shocked by the bad reviews, one of the best teachers I've had, would 100% recommend taking this class with him. Great teacher and even cooler guy. Assignments were long but easy. 10/10

At first, I was very interested in the concept and description but the orientation of the canvas page was a bit confusing for the first week. I then caught on and found that the page allowed me to follow a consistent weekly routine. Professor James HEAVILY promoted collaboration and would add insight which is very important in a business class.
