He is a funny guy who brings a lot of wit into the classroom. Makes taking pages and pages of notes a little more bearable. Funny lectures, if you follow the grading criteria for the written assignments it becomes super easy to get above an 85% otherwise if you deviate from the rubric its super easy to fail as well. The midterms aren't that bad either. Would definitely take him again

Prof. Oxoby was probably my favorite prof of the semester. I will say, some of the lecture slides were a bit confusing at times, but when you start understanding the concepts, the lectures are actually FUN to attend. Midterms and finals were MC, and very fair, and writing assignments were easy grade boosters. Overall, great class, and great prof.

Professor Oxoby is great, his lectures are informative and entertaining. All of his tests are very fair, his grading criteria for essays is clear, and he even let students re write one of the essays when the average grade was low. I recommend taking his class.

Great lectures, breaks down the theory to make it easily interpretable. However, none of the exams or assignments are based on the theory at all; exams are very math/algebra heavy, and Oxoby goes over none of it in the course lectures. Inexcusable to teach one thing and test on another IMO.
