Nice guy, if you ask for one on one help before tests he is very helpful in those .... our class bombed one of the four tests so he dropped the lowest of your 4 tests for us

Bob is a great professor with a lot of Acct knowledge. Makes the exams almost too easy. Attendance is not mandatory but going to class will give you a good grade. Thanks Prof Kasmir

If you absolutely HATE accounting this is you GUY want to take for ACCT 202. He will absolutely make you fall in love with accounting! He explains everything so clearly in class that I almost never had to open my book. Just go to class and you will be fine. He provides all the notes you need to get an A in the course. Good luck!

This guy is as good as it gets. its like accounting for dummies and the most complex beginner acct becomes your daily bread.

Dude is the man, easy class, don't learn much but you will get an A if you show up and listen.

favorite accounting prof. emphasizes real world acct methods covered in book and makes hard stuff easy. tests are a little abstract, but if you can do homeworks 100% you can manage to get an A on tests. very nice guy and will help you no matter what. very down to earth guy. demphasizes some textual concepts, so you might miss out on those for CPA.

Lately it seems as though only extremists post on this site. They're either a little too smart or dumb. Kasimir is the epitome of an "EXCELLENT COLLEGE PROFESSOR" no multiple choice nor is there extra credit so its not a "give me" class, however he explains the material extremely well.Overall you come to class and LISTEN and STUDY you'll be fine

Very helpful. I have come to his office hours for help and with his help I'm getting a A-.You need to study and do the home work to get a good grade.The exams are problems not multiple choice. I'm going to take hime for accounting 303. He is very good and cares for the students. I have learned a great deal and thabk him for his dedication.

This class is really boring and to be honest, I never go because attendance isn't mandatory. But he is really nice, and gives you a lot of really helpful exercises that help you learn the material. I have a C+ in the class, but that's because I'm lazy. If you make a good effort, you'll easily get an A. Take Bob if you absolutely need accounting!

He's a great professor, very knowledgeable! Absolutly the best choice for acct classes. He's very helpful, explain everything very clear, and always trys to help you with any acct problems. I really love and enjoy his class!

NOT EASY!!! U HAVE 2 STUDY...however if you pay attention, work hard, do homework, take notes, you'll be ok...thats a lot better than some of the other "cough cough" acct. professors in towson

Very nice and helpful guy. His teaching style is straightforward. As long as you do the problems he assigns and master them, you will be fine on his exams.

Great teacher that really cares about the students. He's hard but knows his stuff and a great teacher.I recommend him highly and plan to take upper level accounting courses with him.

The class is super boring, but the tests are easy. There's one research paper due at the end of the term. You can get away with missing a lot of class and still do well.

Kasmir is an excellent teacher. I like how he explains the material. The tests are problem based instead of multiple choice or short answer. He lets you know the types of problems you need to know for the test. If you study everyone should get A's on his tests. Youtube him and you will find a funny clip.

Hands down the best accounting teacher at Towson! If only he taught all the accounting courses. Super easy. Heck, you don't even need to read the textbook that much because he gives excellent note sets. Tests are 2 problems based on the homework problems. Extremely helpful outside class and will help you on anything you need. Highly Recommended

the best accounting teacher i have ever had has an easier grading scale an 80 is a B not B- was very helpful as long as you do the work you can easily get a B or higher the only downfall is his class is very boring but if u listen to what will be on the test you will do great

Awesome professor, his lectures are dull as anything, but his tests are easy- all HW based problems. He makes sure you have the core concept of how to solve a problem and thats it, doesn't add any trick questions. No curve, but if you do the HW's you shouldn't need it.

I take this course in summer and have no time to review since I have 2 finals on the same day. Relatively easy exams as all problems coming from HW. Boring class, he just reads the slides and explains HW in class, I think you may need more to learn for CPA. But if you want to improve your GPA, he is a good choice

Dull lectures but very helpful when it comes to homework. His tests are very easy, only two problems based on the hw u did. If u do the hw problems, there's no way u will fail!

Lectures are dull, as with any accounting course. The best classes to go to are the ones where he goes over the homework; but make sure you do it prior to class or it won't be helpful! If you do the homework and clarify where you made a mistake the exams will be super easy!

Prof is nice and helpful. Subject is a bit tough, but if you do the hw you'll be fine. Take him

best accounting professor hands down. hes worth taking even if it means a friday class. he doesnt take attendance so most people didn't come on fridays. the homework problems are practically the same as the exam so go to class when he goes over the homework and youll easily get A's on the exams. i'd take him again if i could.

I'll just say it.. the lectures are super dull! However, the class is easy. Attendance not mandatory. Puts the homework solutions on blackboard to help you study. Tests are very similar to homework. Nice guy and very laid back in following the schedule. Definitely take him if you need to take this class, he makes it easy.

Went to office hours and help me make this a success. He is a great teacher and cares about you learning accounting. I will take him for managerial accounting.

Great professor. He teaches you what you need to do good on the test. 5 tests count 14% each with the other 5% being from homework. His tests are easy if you do the homework.

He is EXTREMELY helpful. I always went to his office or emailed him for help w no issues. The course is tricky for me bc im bad at acct but he made it as clear as anyone else did. Lectures are boring but overall I would take him.

Professor Kasmir cancelled so many classes I lost track. With that being said, I recommend printing out the powerpoints for each chapter ahead of time because he goes through them too fast to take notes. Listen to what he says is on exams because I over-studied. His exams are so easy as long as you study exactly what he says is going to be on it.

Comes off as a very boring professor, but accounting is a boring subject to start with. His tests are easy if you study exactly what he tells you. DONT over-study.. it will only hurt you. Attendance not mandatory. Do homework and study powerpoints for the tests and you will be golden. Take him!

Very helpful professor. He was in the hospital for a week. I emailed him questions and he was able to help me via email while sick. I recommend him for all. He goes over power points that are very helpful for my success in this course.

The best accounting professor. He teaches what is important and it is some what interesting for accounting. I recommend him. Just do the homework and stay up to date and you will get a good grade.

I can't stress enough how awesome this guy is. I HATE accounting. Classes are SO boring-he's a relaxed guy-gives you EXACTLY what you need to know. I did no HW, went to a total of 10 classes combined (201-202) and got nothing but A's. Attempt the hardest homework problems before exams because those same type of questions will reappear. Take him!

The tests are not multiple choice. Classes are spent going over PowerPoints and graded homeworks. You do have to study and do the homeworks because its the exact same as the test just different numbers. He grades tests with letters and not numbers.

Please go to his office hours for help. He cares and wants all to be successful.

Prof Kasmir is a really nice guy. He can be dry and boring but he teaches you what you need to know. His tests are exactly like the home works which makes them worth doing. Class usually gets let out early also which is nice. Take him.

I failed my first test in this course and thought I would never pass another one. The remainder 4 exams I passed with an A! I hardly ever did any of the homeworks and still managed to get a B+ in the class. I will say that understanding the homework is key though because it's the same as the test. Tests are usually 2-3 questions. I would take again

Professor Kasmir comes off as kind of boring but he is actually a real nice guy. Class got canceled frequently and most classes ended early. He collects the homework but doesn't give you a grade for it. If you do the homework you'll be more than prepared for the tests. Tests are only 2 questions. Overall its a fairly easy class.

Kasmir is a wonderful professor! If you're an acct major looking for a solid base, TAKE HIM. Theres only 5 exams, which you will guarantee do well on, as long as you do the homework. He's very helpful and doesn't move on until everyone gets the main idea. Class always let out early! Honestly, the best accounting professor i've had so far :)

So I'm an accounting major. I read the reviews on here for Professor Kasmir and that's why I decided to take the class. He's not inspirational and lectures are not amazing (he follows a PowerPoint all class and then does problem sets), but he is fair. I think the grading on exams are a little harsh sometimes, but it can go either way. Know stuff.

Great professor. I am an accounting major and he mentored me. Without his help I would have gotten a D or F. I came to his office at 7:00 am two days a week for his help. Thank you for your assistance.

Very good teacher, easy class. Test are very straightforward and he grades easy.

He averages five tests to come up with a grade and then says the department exam and homework can boost your final grade if need be. However, he is never clear as to how that works, and this vague grading policy can result in a grade a half-letter lower than expected. That being said, if you're just looking to pass ACCT 202, this is easy enough.

Professor Kasmir is a very nice guy,he goes over the material well and will answer any questions you have if you are confused. If you understand the HW, you will pass the tests which consist of 2 questions (you take one after ever 2 chapters). Don't hesitate to ask questions! Sometimes he has review a class before the exam, take advantage of this!

Was required to take acct202 for my minor. I'm not good with numbers, but Prof Kasmir tries to make things easy for you. Should've failed the course, but he passed me with a 70. Just show up and try in the class.

Professor Kasmir was an excellent professor. The PowerPoint reviews were excellent and helped me with the chapter readings and problems. In addition, PriKasmir helped me during his office hours. I strongly recommend him, but beware lots of homework problems.

Very easy class, literally goes over all the homework problems. There is a lot of homework but he gives you a dozen attempts and there are videos explaining how to do them all. He is very helpful with any questions you may have. Tests are a little difficult so you need to study.

goes over all homework problems during class, and the homework itself is really easy because it gives you vids on how to complete each problem. a few tests, easy A's with the help of my friend google. i honestly just join class and do whatever during it.
