Funny and comprehendable lectures. Not easy but if you pay attention in class,as well as do all readings, you have an excellent chance of doing well. Make an appointment with him if you're writing his essays ( a lot of provable content necessary).

Amazing course - very thought provoking. Intense prof and although he's kinda strict he's very helpful and if you work hard, he'll go all the way for you

He is very clear, Julie Lalande was a great T.A., the assignment is time consuming but I actually enjoyed it. Exams are very fair!

Very difficult professor in terms of marking. Could have organized exams better -- exam essay questions are convoluted. Lectures are good, but do not adequately help for exam.

Heavy workload, most rewarding course you can take. If you want to get something out of your course take this prof. The absolute best prof I have ever had.

great prof. clear with lecture notes... has them photocopied for you before class so you can follow along easily. great with lecturing the material. concepts are easy to grasp. great class.

Cutest Prof I have ever had. He lectures so great and interestingly. I have never had such a great prof as him who cares about his students. He puts his students first and it shows the way he speaks to us. Greatest guy ever, so cute too.

The fact that he's a excellent sociology professor is a given, him being cute is an added bonus.

Professor Kenedy is the best professor you will ever have at York. His assignments are challenging, yet thought provoking and he marks rigourously, but very fairly. He encourages you to work hard and challenge the social isues encountered in today's society, and this in itself makes him great.

Professor Kenedy makes you want to continue to take sociology. The first semester of this course was excellent and so interesting. The assignments are not too bad and you actually learn something. Great prof, definitely take his course!

Actually knows his stuff and what he is talking about. He is willing to help you if you are willing to help yourself. His assignments are hard and challenging and good luck on the exam. This is one of those courses in which you work hard and don't see it refelcted in your marks.

If you actually do the readings and go to class, this class is very enjoyable. Always very entertaining this prof, tells you what he expects and its not too difficult. Keep up with the readings and go to class, honestly, its all you have to do.

awesome prof. EXTREMELY HELPFUL (dont listen to what others say) cares about ALL his students and will help you pass TRUST ME. however course is not very interested. he brings his own material whcih is VERY different from the book which kind of sux - DONT SKIP LECTUREs-- great guy!

Professor Kenedy is an AMAZING Professor. He always conducts a very organized and clear lecture. Professor Kenedy is extremely approachable and is always willing to assist you with any concerns you have about the course. He is the best Professor I've had throughout my entire education career.

Dr. Kenedy is not suited to big classes and first-year students. His knowledge is incredible, his teaching clear and organized, and he does care, but if you do not have the individual attention of a smaller class it is easy to lose scope and do poorly. All in all he does have much to offer.

Prof Kenedy loves his job, knows exactly what he is talking about, his education and experience stands out way in the back of his vari hall classrooms!! Highly enjoyed his class. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GO TO HIS LECTURES and take down very precise notes. And be careful with his T.A.s choose wisely.

Most possibly the most inspiring professor of sociology at York, Professor Kenedy brings life to the classroom. Constantly encourages his students to ask questions and willing to clarify if anything is unclear, he puts his students first and that makes him the best.

A great professor, he knows his theory like the back of his hand. He is very caring of his students and actually wants them to do well. He is very organized and treats you with respect. But GO to his lectures, you cant miss them. Probably one of the best professors I've had at York.

After being in his class you know why he won the University Wide Teaching Award! erhaps the most inspiring person you will ever meet, Professor Kenedy made this summer school course fantastic. A fountain of knowledge, he presents course material in a clear and succinct manner and is the best theory professor I have ever had. Great person and funny!

Loves his students & his job. Justifiably expects *high* standards from his students AND does everything in his power to help them meet 'em. I agree with a post below: you'll learn how to *EARN* a B+ and be damned grateful for a whole lot more than just a decent GPA. I speak as a Concurrent Ed. student - he taught me how to be good teacher.

made it an amazing course, really interesting material. exam wasnt that hard since he lets you know whast on it if u stay late during class...i never went to the tutorial tho lol...but really helpfull down to earth prof! would take course again or his other courses.

Robert was an amazing prof and his class inspired me to switch my major to sociology. All of his lectures were interesting and clear. Although the readings could be a bit tedious, i really enjoyed the course all around. His exams are tough but he provides a thorough review sheet that, if used properly, will ensure a successful exam.

This prof. is incredible.Can make the most boring topics interesting. Always available to help his students. You will look forward to attending his lectures. I have never had a better professor at York. If you expect to slack off all year and get a good mark forget it. You need to keep up in order to get a good grade. Very strong classroom presen

He's the best professor in Psychology by far. I think he should become the President of York University. He deserves it. He is very helpful and outstanding when it comes to teaching the theories and concepts. I wanna get into his class next year for sure :)...Keep up the great work!!!

He is my best professor this year, and I have four other ones who really aren't that good. It is not his fault the T.A. is really bad. Even though class is on Friday morning he makes it really interesting. It is nice to see a really intelligent professor who is considerate of his students and helps them.

Professor Kenedy is one of those rae individuals who truly challenges students and wants them to succeed to the best of their ability. A gem among professors, he is rare in his genuine kindness and compassion towards his students. He integrity is second to none and you will never be the same after taking a class with him.

His funny stories and ancedotes made the class pass by quickly and you actually learned something.By far the best methods prof in Sociology, Professor Kenedy deserved the University Wide teaching Award. The exams are hard if you do not do the work. Professor Kenedy's class is meant for students who want to learn, not those who come to university for a free ride. Just because other sociology profs give you a free ride and open book exams in fourth year, does not mean he follows their horrendous example. If you ask him for help he will help you!

The class was actually fun and enjoyable for an evening class. Being in the tutorial before the class was helpful because after you got to attend lecture and know what was really happening because the T.A. was the worst of the worst!Hopeless T.A.,lack of professionalism, intelligence and knowledge,but what else do you expect from York Sociology?
