This class is with the computer program. I actually liked Mr. Knight a lot, but he had to much work. There was a lot of homework and his lectures were boring. The computer program lessons are about 20 pages each and you 2 do a lot. He's really nice too.

he gives alot of work, but every exam he gives a pre-test for u to do..and goes over it in class. the exam is exactly like the pre-test, but with different numbers. i got an A!

Give out example exams before the mid-terms and final and they are exactly the same format. Very approachable and friendly. Have a great memory of his students coz he took pictures of his students @ the beginning of the semester. Got an A in his class.

Dr.Knight is great! He is actual a medical doctor, but he loved to teach so much he stopped being a surgeon. He is the sweetest guy, and he will make you feel very special. If you need to build your confidence in math Dr. Knight will do it for you.

If you did well in high school math, then you'll do fine in this class. You have to buy an Ebook online instead of a textbook. All hw is turned in online and that's a free 20%. The exams are alot like the practice exams. For the final, study all your old exams. There's and extra credit project worth 5%. I ended up with a 95% in the class.

his class was so easy, i showed up once every two weeks and still passed with a B, which is awesome! his tests are easy cause its just like the practice one he gave us, we didnt even need the book at all.

easy A. if you know simple math, and know how to operate a TI-83 calculator, you'll get an A. the exams are open note, and it's mostly from the practice exams. No books needed in his class.

For an older person, he seems very computer literate. Not a lot of teachers have his qualities. Dr. Knight has a great sense of humor. Some student it may be hard to learn certain equations, but he's there to show you the easiest ways to do things.Overall Dr. Knight is a very student orientated teacher.

Great instructor. I took this class on-line and whenerver I had a question on a problem he responded back right away. Homework assignments are due monthly and alot of the times he will extend the deadlines. I recommend on-line course with Dr. Knight.

Good class, but dont expect him to lecture very much. You work off of the computer and work at your own pace, but make sure you are self motivated and get everything done on time! Most of the work you do yourself, but if you ever have a question hes is EXTREMELY helpful.

Dr. Knight is by far the most helpful MATH teacher I have had. I have taken the Math 11A class (yeah, I know pretty bad!) 3 times and have not been able to pass it. I am very confident that I will pass the class with a B or C this time. His lectures are a bit hard to follow though. Overall: VERY GOOD teacher!

Took stats during winter intersession. Even though it was an online class, the online lectures and problem workthru videos he made are great and can always be looked up again. He must have spent a loooong time making those for the students. Rely on the example workthrus and you'll get a good grade for sure.

Never used the online book but HW an quizzes unlimited tries! All online easyyy material. Attended three classes whole semester. Explained well but I self taught everything cause I didn't attend very many classes. Do your work! Failed two inclass test an got a B in the class! Use the progress ?'s for quizz retakes! i love this teacher! Everything is mostly due online and you have unlimited tries to do the homework and quizzes, the midterm and finals online are not unlimited but you have 2 chances to get a better score. There are 3 tests in class. He is very clear on teaching and grades fairly! would definitely recommend this teacher to a friend

I think hes getting worse in teaching and enthusiasm. But he's still very good overall.If you take your time doing all of his HW, an A is very possible to get. In class tests, midterm and final are a bit hard but if you doing well in all online hw and midterm which is easy you still can get an A. If you wanna get an A,take him. highly recommended.

Really easy. Text book and homework all online. There is an in class midterm and an in class final and you'll need to study for both those, but besides that it's an easy class.

Dr. Knight's 2012 Winter Intersession Math063 Online Class was simple and easy to keep up with. Easy A (or B) depending how dedicated and patient you are with the work. He provides videos for all homework exercises which make the class easier!

Dr. Knight is the most compassionate teacher I have ever met. He cares that all his students understand and pass. Anyone who rates him unfavorability just wasn't trying. He recognizes effort and the lack there of.

He is a good teacher. The time I took him he was sick often so he couldn't help so much. Signed up not realizing the work was online. As long as you keep on track you will be fine. I had family issues and didn't drop so I failed unfortunately. Do recommend if you like online classes.

Professor knight created his own free learning platform called mymathtext and it was amazing. We didn't have to pay at all :) all the hw and tests r taken online through this website. He's a cool guy and I aced his class. Highly recommended

Very easy and helpful professor. I took an online class with not much troubles. You are required to do homework and tests (about 10-30 questions each) for every chapter. He does not set due date for every chapter, but for the entire class, usually 10 days after the semester ends. All are multiple choice. This is an easy class.

Coming from someone who put off taking this class as long as possible. This class is the best choice! All of Dr. Knights assignments and lessons were organized and straight forward. Yes, it was still hard but you can tell he really wants you to succeed. If you put in the effort you will. Even if you hate math like me!

Took Math13 and enrolled for Math63 next semester. Online textbook $ reasonable. He is very accommodating if needed. Faildon't do HW, quizzes or attend mandatory sessions (wo good reason). Plenty of chancesprobability of passing if you just put forth effort and are an independent learner. Timely responses to questions.

Took his online Stats intercession class, he provided so many resources (ex. FREE online textbooks) to help that it was easy to understand and pass. Dr. Knight really does want all his students to pass and will do anything he can to help you succeed. Great Professor in general but especially if you are taking an online math course!

Very easy A! I don't think I learned much however. You can just watch his solution videos on how to do the hw and the quizzes and midterms are just from the hw problems. You can retake the quizzes and midterms so no reason why you cant get 100%. Don't have to score high on in class final to get an A, if you did well on online component.

Professor Knight's Stat class is very EASY and helpful. Professor Knight posts many things on his website, so you do not need to buy anything for the class. The homework has many examples and video to help understand the material. You can complete the class fast if you work diligently, but do not try to procrastinate because the work can build up.

He's very clear and helpful. I took him for as a hybrid class. Once a week there was a lecture to cover that weeks work. I will take him next semester. His class is a pass or no pass course so with at least 70% you pass.

easiest class ever. everything is online on mymathlab. there is a lot of homework though so try to keep up with it but unlimited tries to get 100% on hw. quizzes are unlimited tries to get 100% . Doctor Knight is the most forgiving math professor you will ever have in college. The only way you can fail is if you are never in class AND never do homework. No deadlines. Work is completed at your own pace.

I took Professor Knight for online Stats, and I loved it! I learned so much. He created videos that teaches you how to solve problems. His videos were so helpful to the point where I knew how to solve problems without relying on them. Quizzes were similar to homework. He also gives opportunities to retake homework & quizzes.

A teacher who goes out of his way to help students succeed. His online website provided multiple videos and links to help students learn math. Some of the videos are also ones he created himself too. Homework and quizzes are similar, so the only way you can fail his class is by not trying.

You have to manage your time adequately-- even though there are no assigned deadlines because it is easy to fall behind. Each quiz has 25-30 problems. The midterms have 10. Lots of work, but easy! Don't lax off

I had Professor Knight for the hybrid statistics class and I really enjoyed it. If you manage your time his class is pretty easy since he gives extra chances for quizzes, test, etc. Take notes because since it is an online course you can use it for help.

Gives you a lot of time to do the homework, which you need because there are almost 50 to 100 questions per section, plus a midterm and a final. Manage your time correctly and you can do this! It's math so it is hard but you get what you worked for..

Dr. Knight is very kind and knowledgable. Homework assignments and quizzes are quite long and take up a lot of time, but it's understandable since it's a math course. Since it's an online course, you work at your own pace which was great for me. The only way to fail this class is by not putting in enough time and being lazy.

This is the easiest class I've ever taken at EVC. Online classes have a reputation for assigning tedious work, but Dr. Knight was the most flexible professor. I finished his class in 1 week since I planned to be gone all intersession. All the work are very doable within 1 week and he extends the final deadlines, too. His resources are also helpful!

Professor Knights class consists of hw, quizzes, midterms & a final. You get multiple attempts of improving your score on all assignments so its easy to get an A if you put in the work. He's a very nice professor! His online course requires you to learn on your own through a program called mylab, but it includes tutorials. He also responds to his emails right away so that's what I like about him. He also gives extra credit by participating in a forum on mylab.

Highly recommend this class!! He uses MyClassText and he posts everything at once. I spent the most time on homework, and sometimes the quizzes and tests have the exact questions as the homework problems. There are also unlimited attempts on the homework and ten attempts on quizzes and tests. I finished this course in less than three weeks.

This class is completely online through a website where all of the assignments are given, you have to teach yourself as he does not give lectures. There is a set due date for each assignment, but you are allowed to turn in your work anytime and are given an unlimited amount of attempts on homework, quizzes, and exams. Plan on taking him for stats!

I am really thankful that I took my Statistics class with Dr. Knight. He is indeed a very student-centered professor! Dr. Knight is a good professor. You get unlimited retakes on homework and 10 retakes on quizzes and exams. But if you want to genuinely learn statistics, look for someone else. This class is very autopilot, you won't really learn stats. But he responds to emails in a timely manner.

Honestly, take his class. I took it this summer, and it is time-consuming but can be completed within a few weeks. It's mostly independent, but the quizzes+hw allow unlimited attempts. Absolutely doable. If you just try and follow instructions, you will get an A. He's a nice professor, not a tough grader, and constantly checks in with reminders.
