He is a cool and down to earth kind a guy...loves his music
He is out there....great teacher.....knows his stuff when it comes to music
His music groups will leave you no time to have a life.
Awesome teacher, knows his music: interesting class
He is very nice and interesting.
excellent teacher. dont be late. excellent conductor as well.

easy class, kind of an odd fellow.
He is a little eccentric, however he loves music and loves to teach it. Class is easy to pass.
Good guy, loves to talk about himself and tell stories. its fun to pick his brain about various types of music.
Easy class, but boring.
DONT BE LATE. DONT LEAVE CLASS EARLY without letting him know. Kind of rude but knows his stuff. Easy B or A. Lots of questions about dates on the tests. Need to be there, a lot of info isnt in book.Has good stories though if you are a music buff
You are seriously an IDIOT if you don’t get an A in this class. Show up the day before the test and have someone sign you in other days.
awesome teacher and an awesome class!....he is a nice guy
Great teacher. Very enthusiastic and entertaining. Loves his job & makes you love the class. Great class with interesting topics.

He's fun, he's helpful, he's a good guy. There's not really more to say. If you need help with something, all you have to do is ask him and he will, at least, tell you were to go to get that help.
Great guy, knows his stuff, but he is a horrible director.
He is lame, every rock n' roll story always involves a "friend" or someone he has met. He pretends to be or have been a rock n' roller. The class was handled like a high school freshmen class.
Mr. Martinez is a wonderful teacher. His discussions are interesting and funny. He uses his life examples as a way to bring life to his class. His tests are not hard, it is just a lot of material to remember. He's Groovy!!! :)
the class was not at all hard but i often found myself to be bored during the course of his lectures and this made me often feel like not going to class, but on the days i was entertained by his lectures i was glad to be in the class
TONS of extra credit, textbook isn't all that great so attending class or having notes is important, study guides are given for tests, class is kind of boring if you're not into rock and roll, class doesn't cover modern bands, takes roll by sign in sheet
He is a very intelligent man for his age!I enjoyed his class a lot!He is a classy dresser. His class is way easy to pass if you show up every day and take notes, and he has a cute little pony tail!

One of my favorite classes. Kinda spends too much time on certain topics. Never did get to the metal/punk/hiphop section. kinda bumed me out a bit. but very cool nonetheless
Great teacher, very interesting class, very fun, u get to listen to GREAT music.

This guy is an idiot and generally full of**** in most instances! On the other hand, if you ever have a party, invite him. His **** stories, while complete ****, are entertaining. Seriously, he cannot conduct to save his life and is an example of
Easy A. Just know that when he is talling a story, he IS full of****. Do the math people, he isn't even old enough to have been an opening act for most of the bands he claims he's opened for!! He lies....FREQUENTLY.
he is a really good professor he knows alot and you really get into it, well i do. anything you ask, he just about knows. TAKE THIS CLASS
I know Martinez personally and have play music with him for a few years now. The people he claims he knows are real, I have met them myself. Fun class, EASY A!!! Great guy.
Annoying most of the time, but I can tell he has a genuine heart and really, really loves his subject. Music is obviously his life. Treats the class like jr. high students. He gets very annoyed if you're late.
He can be boring at times... buts its an easy A. just show up to class for all the notes. When he gives us a review for tests, i would make a study guide on what he said would be on the test. it really helped. Also, do the extra credit just to be safe... its way easy!!
Great teacher, fun to be around, great class. Will take for now on. Would recommend for all musicians.
Great, knowledgable professor. Loves the subject. You will walk away having learned something. Fun class.Must take!!
Easy class. I didn't even open the book, just attended class, studied my notes and the study guide and passed with an A.

I like Martinez, but then sometimes I don't. If you walk in late, he'll make a scene. (I don't like that.It turns people away from education.) On the other hand, he talks a lot about his own personal experiences with the music world, which is cool. If you attend class and take notes (he tells you what to write) you should be fine.
Best class. Best teacher. Best topic. Take it.
I really loved this class. You can tell by the way he teaches his class the love for music that he has. Not sure what grade I received yet, most likely a "B", only because the tests have a lot of dates to remember. Need to be there to get a good grade. Thanks for a great class Mr. Martinez.
"History of Rock n' Roll" is the most fun you'll ever experience in a class. Mr. Martinez is awesome and very interesting. Take this class. Easy "A". You don't really need the book if you take notes well, but it is actually a great read, I have kept mine on my book shelf and don't plan on selling it.
This had to be the wrost class I have ever taken at BC! I showed up everyday, and somehow I still was lost. If you dont know much about music I would not take this! He is so boring, and kind of rude! In other words, dont waist your time or money on this class!
Professor Martinez is awesome. Some people may think he is a bit rude but I just believe that he is just very serious about his teaching an di respect that. He wants us to learn and he wastes no time on people who don't want to learn. It's a fun class and I really enjoyed it. He was a good teacher and knew his stuff!
Very boring class. He is very full of himself and thinks he knows everything, yet gets things wrong. Makes a huge deal about people coming in late. He thinks everybody notices when someone comes in late, but the class only notices because he makes such a big deal. He should be more concerned about his teaching than what his students are doing.
THIS CLASS SUCKED. HIS LECTURES ARE BORING AS HELL AND MAKES YOU EVEN MORE CONFUSED. HE DOESNT GO BY THE BOOK. AND WANDERS IN HIS LECTURES. IT IS FUNNY TO WATCH HIM DANCE WHILE HE PLAYS MUSIC THOUGH...TOTALLY WIERD.HE GETS ALL NUTS ABOUT PEOPLE COMING IN LATE AND BOTHERING CLASS WHEN HE IS THE ONLY ONE BOTHERING THE CLASS.
SO BORING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT MUSIC IN THE FIRST PLACE! HAD TO BE THE WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN AT BC! HE IS SOOOOOO BORING, BUT HIS DANCING IS THE ONLY ENJOYABLE THING DURING THE CLASS! I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THIS CLASS TO ANYONE!
i never actually needed real help because the class is very easy. the tests are simple. if you love classic rock and blues music youll love this class. But if you slack off, dont take it early in the morning because he will make you feel like the worlds biggest slacker if you walk in late at all.
martinez is not a bad teacher. i still remember everything he taught me 2 years ago. he has style and great taste in music, really made me appriciate pop music
awesome
I thought this guy was hardcore ~ turns out he is a Cool Cat. If you are not lazy, can be on time, pay attention, take notes, there is no way to fail. He is teaching you to treat school like a job and help to get you ready for a 4yr college. I would take another class by him if I needed too. If you are really in school to learn, take this class.
The best professor i ever had!
Great teacher, really easy, makes the class fun with his stories and antics, you do need to have good attendance and take notes but it only makes you a better student in the end, cool person
great class, you really learn alot about music & grow a new appreciation for it. the professor is great, he has a true passion for it. you need to show up for every class & dont be late! hes huge on tardiness. the tests arent bad at all. very straight forward from the notes & text. i highly recommend this professor, you wont regret it.
I loved this class and Martinez is one awesome dude. He expects respect and it's not hard to do. Be on time and listen. He's got a lot of interesting things to say and he's a really nice guy. He's into what he's teaching which really helps. Expect to take a lottttt of notes (but it's all interesting stuff man!)
very easy instructor make sure you are on time and take notes. you will basically pass this class if you do not text in class
He's a great guy. Do the extra credit concert reviews, you're allowed 3 concerts for 6% each. 18% of you're grade! Other than that it's all notes and tests, but they're pretty simple. He makes a big deal about text messaging and being late, but he'll give you vouchers to see the Bakersfield Symphony for 5 bucks! How awesome is that?
Fun teacher & passionate. But a big name dropper of famous people/events, so much that you don't believe him, & it gets annoying. Take lots of notes and study for tests. Be wary of true&false - very tricky. He is sometimes confusing b/c he goes back and forth a lot. Gives good extra credit. Overall fun & interesting class worth taking w/ him!
Super easy class, all exams, but you need to attend for the massive note taking. His lectures are a bit scattered since all he does is talk with no visuals, but it's easy. Everyone already can tell the difference between country, metal, reggae, and southern rock. T/F is the hardest since the dates get a bit difficult. DO THE EASY EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!!
Great professor & interesting class. Textbook not required, but a good read. Attendence is mandatory. Just listen & take notes during lecture. Study notes or view them daily for about 5 mins. Tests are T/F & MC. Easy if you study your notes and pay attention in class. Do all your extra credit just for back up. Don't stress, I got an A.
OMG, I love his class. He is so passionate about his class and I've learned so much about different types of music. As long as you attend all the class and pay attention, you'll pass with an easy A. I didn't do the extra credit, but DO the extra credit people!
He's very passionate about what he teaches, which makes the class even more interesting. Not to difficult, but DO take notes. He gets on his soapbox a little too often about how students should take his class more seriously, but he just wants everyone to succeed. TAKE IT!
Take this class! It is interesting, fun, and informative. The professor is knowledgeable and you can tell he really cares about the subject matter AND his students. He is very strict about phones & tardiness but with good reason.
This professor is extremely clear with what notes he wants you to take, and he makes learning about music genres fun. Basically, you watch movies giving the history of different music, you listen to his music examples, and you get to watch him dance. It's an easy class, never used the book, and passed all the exams. He offers easy extra credit.
His tests are slightly difficult and he doesn't seem to care much for students' feelings. If you attend class, study, and possibly visit him during his office hours, you should be fine. Not an easy A, but worth it.
Show up for class and take lots of notes because all of his test are based on lecture notes. Miss a day and you'll miss a week of lecture. BOOKS ARE NOT necessary and his class is very entertaining. Study for the exams and you'll do perfectly fine. He also offer up to 3 extra credits @ 6% each if you meet the expectation he's looking for.
Really easy. Pay some attention, finish well. Has done a lot of cool stuff in music - if he hasn't played with somebody, he probably knows somebody who has.
great class. great teacher. super easy. talk to him if you need help or if you just want to talk. has somepretty great storys to tell. over GREAT!
Fun class. Great professor
Love love this class he makes learning fun really didn't use the book that much he gives u the study guides I would take this class again Mr Martinez is a very down to earth person and he cares for everyone ge meets
Awesome teacher! Very enthusiastic about music! If you pay attention in class and read the book the tests are easy. He gives extra credit for going to concerts. Very interesting class.
He is so annoying and full of himself. He always goes off track to brag about some band he almost met or something weird. We makes you feel awkward in his class withhis awkward dancing. Just show up and the tests are ok. But he thinks he needs to teach people how to succeed in college and belittles the class.
Professor Martinez is a strict professor with strict guidelines. He expects you to be organized and on top of things, but he is like that himself. He is somewhat arrogant though, but that doesn't matter. This class is so fun. It is so powerful in learning what a huge impact music has on our society. Great class & professor!
he wants everyone on time if not he is already mad. hes test are really hard. hes classes ar boring and confusing
He is very strict. Don't be late, don't leave early, & no phones. You are warned. For me, his class was easy because I already knew most of the things he was talking about. If you have no interest in the history of music, don't take him. His exams are a little difficult. Study your notes & the study guide he gives out & you should be fine. Study!
Warning: Do not be late, leave early, or take out your phone in class- you will be excused. It's a fairly easy and enjoyable class. My only critique would be that his tests are %75 True/False, and those questions seem like trick-questions at times. Take notes, use the study guide, and a decent grade is easily achievable.
I loved this class. I didn't use the book or even bother buying it and I still managed to get an A. Just go to class and take notes and you'll be fine. Mr.Martinez is hilarious but very strict. Some lectures can be boring but some are awesome, depending on what music/genre you're covering that day. I recommend this class!
Abosluetly loved this class! He spends the majority of the class speaking about the class material, I didn't even need the book, show up and he'll give you all the notes you need. Make sure to study! I would repeat this course just for fun if I could. It's also really awesome hearing about the music from a first hand experience.
You don't need the book, if you take good notes you'll pass. He is confusing at times and is very strict. His test are very tricky at times so you need to know your dates and names to the T. I honestly did not like him, but loved the class.
4 tests for the semester. Make sure to do the study guides. Acts like he knows stuff, but if you know a lot about the band he's talking about then you can tell that some things he says are lies. When it comes to the modern Rock bands. he knows very little to nothing about them. If you're gonna teach history, you gotta know current stuff too, DUH.
Knows his stuff. Eager to share what and who he knows! Sometimes he digresses a bit on how to be a successful student, but maybe he thinks it's justified. Class content was of high interest for me. Tests were fine as long as the study guides were studied. Very happy I took this class...
Martinez is strict, but he is helpful. He goes over everything that is going to be on the quizzes with a study guide. You have to read read read! And be up to date with the study guides. If you miss a class you will get behind. He is the first professor that I have had at BC that doesn't tolerate nonsense.
His class was great! He does expect students to be on time and on task. And forget leaving early unless he clears it ahead of time. Extra credit opportunities available. A pleasure to hear his personal experience as a studio musician!
I took one of mr. Martinez's classes which was history of rockpop music. I absolutely loved this class. I am a classic rock fan so it was so fun learning about the music I love. Great professor! He is so funny and really inspiring.
took history of rock and roll. Best class by far, if your in need of a fine arts class this is the one. Never gives homework. he does expect you to take notes that is very helpful for the test. test are based on his lectures. does gives extra credit. have to have some type of interest in the music. doesn't like people to be late or leave early.
Mr. Martinez treats his class as if it were everyones major. His exams range from 60 questions and up. Final exam was 200 questions. He treats the class as if he were teaching children. He provides so much information during each lecture at a fast rate that leaves little time to jolt all of it down. He is a hard grader. Would not advise to take him
Professor Martinez is an amazing teacher! Don't be put off by the first few classes with him, hes just trying to get everyone used to his teaching style. Don't leave early without speaking to him and for the love of god - NO CELLPHONES! He'll kick you out immediately. Don't bother buying the textbook, just take good notes. He grades on a curve too.
This professor is a prime example of someone you NEED to have as an instructor! Learning about Rock and Roll from Professor Martinez was one of the best decisions I made at B.C. If you're looking for a music class, this is the one to take! He's awesome, funny, VERY wise and all around a cool dude! Just make sure you don't have your phone out...
He has a lot of knowledge and experience and is a very nice man. Hes a stickler about attendance and WILL drop you if you dont follow his rules. His class is solely based on lectures and if you dont show up you WILL far very far behind. He gives all the answers to the tests in class during lectures which is why hes so strict about attendance.
He's a great professor, I really enjoyed him. He practically gives away answers, just study and take notes.
I would NOT recommend taking his class unless you are a music enthusiast. He takes the history of rock and roll way too seriously... as if it were astrophysics. He's very condescending to say the least. I would suggest taking this class with a different instructor.
He's a sweet little guy with majestic steeze. His lectures a real treasure. I sleep with my notes tucked under my pillow every night just to be comforted by the sweet reminiscent thoughts of what my 9:35AM mornings used to be: gettin up, gettin bucked, goin to history of rock & roll. YEAH BABY. Don't let the croon of his voice lull you away. Peace
Professor Martinez is an amazing professor and his lectures gave me life! Sad to say the semester is over. I'll really miss this class; It's been my favorite this past semester. You hear a lot of great music and he also has a lot of first hand personal stories. I definitely recommend this class! You wont regret it, trust me!
He loves his job and wants everyone to succeed. He gives out multiple extra credit assignments because he wants you to pass. You need to study for his exams though and I mean STUDY. He is a great teacher and I would love to take him again just to see his face light up about bands, music, and more.
This guy deserves a Grammy for teaching no lie! He opens up your mind and tries hard to prepare you for what's next. He may be a little strict about being late and phones but this class is a mind and eye opener. Honestly I didn't need the book to pass his class but I'm sure it woulda helped. Take really good notes to study. And listen to audio
He is a great teacher as long as you are willing to behave like an adult and listen to what he has to say. He does command respect and a certain level of maturity.
For the most part, I enjoyed this class. However, I would just recommend this course to people who are serious about passing and are good at taking notes because it is always just lectures and can get hard to keep up everyday. You don't need the book, just study hard for the (four) exams. There are possible extra credit options too!
Good teacher, definitely knows his subject in and out, and was a part of it while it happened. His personal stories were often, but not necessarily bad. If he talks about his personal views though it can get boring and preachy.
This is a great class and very interesting, but there is one thing to keep in mind. If you take History of Rock N' Roll with him, it will be tougher than you think it will be, so don't come and expect it to be like a party. Just get a good grasp of the material and what he says while lecturing and you'll have no problem getting a A in his class.
I love this guy I love this guy! he was one of my first professors at BC and he made coming to class everyday something to look forward to. If you really want an A do as much extra credit as you can, it really helps! I got a B on every exam and did two extra credits and ended up with an A. btw he really cares about his students. We still talk!
Professor Martinez is very passionate about the subject he teaches. His grading is pretty easy going with a curve given to his students for the exams. If you like rock at all you'll probably have fun with this class.
Awesome professor! I did not get the desired grade but definitely would take him again. you can tell he loves doing what he does. Always available to help his students succeed.
I liked Mr Martinez as a professor. He does take the class seriously, so if you're looking for an "easy" class, this might not be for you. If you have a passion for music, you will probably love the class, though. Tests are lengthy, but if you like the material, it shouldnt be a problem.
Prof. Martinez is an amazing Professor. His lectures are very heartfelt and I can hear through his words that he is speaking through his own experience and knowledge. His lectures on the genres of music and the history behind them are mostly talked about as parts of his life. His respect towards students is so admirable and he wishes the best.
A really easy class you can tell he loves teaching BUT he is really annoying. He name drops all the time and Im pretty sure half the stories he tells are made up or embellished. Dont show up late and he wont call you out hes so annoying when it comes to someone walking in late as if its the end of the world. Youalso need to be in class to pass
BEST MUSIC PROFESSOR EVER!! yay would take his class 1000x if I could! no papers, just tests, movies shown, of course music everyday. amazing class, loved it to the fullest. great person, someone very mellow as he says haha. explains things and repeats without hesitation!
Hes the best.
He was amazing. His lectures were very informative, and he let's you know what is useful to know. He has many personal stories that bring the class to life. He curves test grades and offers extra credit. He doesn't use canvas, but he gives you a grading scale.
Incredibly annoying when it comes down to attendance/cell phone policy. I believe if Im paying to take the class i have a right to miss if necessary. Other than that good lectures and cool stories, not sure theyre all true..
Martinez is a interesting professor. You only take 4 test and that's it. He gives you extra credit, I would 100% take all the chances he gives you. If you study really hard you can pass the test especially since he grades with a curve. Do not talk or pull your phone out during class that's the one thing to do to get on his bad side.
So. Seems like all the stories he tells are lies. He literally will make up a story to prove his point. Irritating class. Also very anal about how he thinks you should organize for ALL other classes. Instead of focusing on his class and what he needs to teach he will lecture on common sense. Can't Express enough how strange he is.
He is difficult, petty, annoying. Ridiculous when it comes to clearing absences. Doesn't use canvas or allow any use of technology in his class. Also rude to a student that is DSPS. I really should have looked on RMS before enrolling in his class. It's going to be a long semester. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!
I would not recommend taking this class. He is very full of himself and makes up stories a lot. The tests are pretty hard and the only reason anyone in our class passed was because of the curve. Makes a big deal if you walk in late or miss class. Can be extremely rude at times. Fortunately, no homework just make sure you study for the tests!!!
Great Professor! His lectures are always colorful. He loves teaching and it shows. He has a tough no phone and no talking policy and he will dock you points if youre late, so dont use your phone in class, dont talk and dont be late. Its really that simple. Easy A if youre willing to follow his class rules and listen.
He took a while to grow on me, but overall, he is a fantastic professor. He will get super strict if you use electronics, and as a digital learner this was a challenge for me, and he would get furious if you're on your phone. However, his lectures are incredible, fun, and the class is only graded on the tests which are easy with note cards.
Honestly best professor ever! He never really gives homework (usually reading chapters), he offers extra credit during the tests, amazing stories about his experiences with artist and music concerts, trust me he is not a normal boring professor!
Get ready to pop out your recording device! He's an awesome professor his ways will benefit you on the long run, I am use to taking professors like him. Your answers to the tests are in his lectures so be prepared to write great notes. He is very strict no phones, no tardys, no drinks, no interruptions! He is a well respected professor.
Very strict on using phones during class. Exams are basically everything he gives on the study guides so its easy. Pretty fun class if youre interested in rock and roll
this was his first online class itook him summer 2020. we just met 4 times on zoom, he only has 4 test not other assignment other then the 3 extra credit papers he offers. he gives you a study guide before each test, includes some youtube videos and audio, but the majority of the test questions are form the guide. he grades on a curve!
Okay so i took the 6 week summer 2020 course & it went by smoothly. Grades are solely based on tests. he curves each test, so the score you see after you click submit, is not your official score. Basically you study the study guides he provides for you and read the chapters of the textbook then take the test. He also offers extra credit every test.
The test are ridiculously long and it seems as if he is purposely trying to slip small pieces of bad information in each questions to trip up the student. There was no HW other than reading, but I did not appreciate the repeated trick questions. The extra credit reports are not difficult and will help you pass the course.
He's a very sweet guy and supper nice just has very long exams that are lecture based
THIS PROFESSOR KNOWS HIS HISTORY AND HE HAS HE HAS A DESIRE FOR EVERYONE TO LEARN I NOTICED THERE WAS NO FAVORITISM AND HE MADE IT VERY PLAIN AND SIMPLE HOW TO PASS HIS COURSE TO THIS DAY I REMEMBER THE WORDS THAT HE TAUGHT ME THAT'S WHY I'M SUBMITTED AND GIVING HIM A FIVE STAR FRIENDS CONGRATULATIONS PROFESSOR ROBERT MARTINEZ YOU ARE INSPIRATIONAL
Professor Martinez is very caring and understanding if there is something you need help with he is there to help you out. . As long as you study the study Guides you should be able to pass the class, His extra Credit Reports are fun and very easy to do. Overall he is Definitely one of my favorite professors!!
Professor Martinez is amazing! His lecture have a lot of information that will be on the test. He gives you study guide which are very helpful especially for test. Long test but just read study guid you will be fine! And gives extra credit! READ STUDY GUIDE
All based on tests! He times each an every question. U get 1min per question and test are 65 plus questions. I was excited for this class. Was expecting music to be fun and informative. These tests are too much for a music class.
Professor Martinez was one of my most memorable professors because of his attitude towards life and his students. He knows his stuff! He cares about his students and wants to set them up for success. The whole class is a lecture and the tests are big on what was said in class. Take notes and study a little each day and you'll be good.
Prof. Martinez is strict with his grading and his policies, but also doesn't create overly difficult exams. Everything is straight forward, covered in class, and pretty interesting. He has some real-world experience with the music industries all over the place and this course is well-known, mentioned by other professors with reverence.
He is older fashion, but he was a good professor, lecture is just going over the study guide. There is a textbook that he expects you to read on your own, without the book, you could get a solid b/c on the exams. You can go to office hours and go over your exam.
I was very excited to take this course and was very disappointed. He would tell made-up stories and gloss over the truth on controversies and crimes committed by musicians. He spends half of his lectures babying and telling students how they should be studying. I would say that if you want to learn the real deal take another professor.
He is a great teacher all you have to do is go to the class and you will be fine, the tests are pretty easy and the lectures are interesting to listen to.
I will not recommend this teacher again, the way he grades is ridiculous. if say you get a 65/70 he will mark your grade down to a lower grade if you dont answer the question fast enough..
Great teacher. The best I've had so far. Book was needed for the class but I didn't buy it and I ended with a solid B. Study guides help a lot and he gives answers during his lectures so don't miss out on them. Passionate about his job and explains things extremely clearly.
Great Professor. The class was well organized and easy to understand. The study guides he provides are very helpful.
The professor is engaging, though strict on attendance. Tests are challenging but manageable with the study guides provided. unstuck study was a helpful tool for test prep alongside the textbook.
I was initially worried he would be uptight and unreasonable, but Mr. Martinez is just a super sweet guy who's passionate about music and teaching young people. His lectures were interesting and filled with stories from his youth. The only semi-downside is not being able to use tech, but his lectures were fun and easy to sit through. 10/10 imo.
This is a perfect class to take if you've taken a break from school or are transitioning into college. History of Rock was my favorite class this semester. He is strict on technology, however I found his lectures to be enjoyable so I never found the need to be on my phone. I don't believe the textbook is necessary if you attend all lectures.
Prof. Martinez is an amazing professor and is passionate about what he teaches. Lectures are extremely interesting and engaging. Tests can be a challenge, but his extra credit assignments add up to 18%. I personally wouldn't take again, but the class was not bad at all.
Easy A if you need the credit. Lots of reading. Just follow the reading schedule and syllabus and you will pass
I personally loved having Professor Martinez as my professor. He genuinely cares for his students and has the most interesting and entertaining lectures I've ever seen. He can be a tough grader but if you study what is on the syllabus and don't miss too many lectures, then you should pass with flying colors.
Extremely lecture and attendance heavy. Very strict on technology and phones within the class. Makes a huge deal about being late. Lectures are confusing, boring, and spends 90% of the time talking about himself and made-up stories. Didn't enjoy my experience and would not recommend this class unless you already enjoy the subject
