The best professor i've had. He's a great teacher and keeps things very interesting. DEFINITELY worth taking one of his classes.

Hes a very helpful teacher and he explains everything well. He really goes out of his way to make sure EVERYONE understands everything. He gives little quizes for each chapter (multiple choice). You will have to stufy a bit, but usually he explains everything in class.

Really nice guy, best professor I have had so far. Tough class, must be willing to do the work, come every class but he is a very fair grader. He makes the class very entertaining and funny, barely any notes, will go completely off topic, just as long as he feels your learning something. If you dont mind doing some work hes great

Very smart man. Psychologist and lawyer, damn. Class isn't very easy, you really have to work for your grade but he's very clear, helpful and nice. Quizzes, midterm and final are tricky, STUDY YOUR QUIZZES! Take him if you can and if you're a good student, really enjoyable class and man.

Professor Meyers will blow. your. mind. Your brain needs gyration. Your brain needs Social psychology with this man.

Extremely charismatic man. The class is very entertaining and fun! Do not wait until the last minute to study, gives quizes every class which will be on final and midterm. Tests aren't insanely hard, but dont expect to just get an A without studying.

Very intelligent, but you NEEEED to work for your grade. For some reason, everyone had a hard time passing tests. I believe it was because he never let us keep quizzes to study from. FUN CLASS. You'll learn alot about psych in general. Don't take if you're not up for reading the textbook though. That would make it difficult.

Awesome professor - not too bad to look at either. Helpful. Funny. Smart. Easty to talk to. I took 2 or 3 of classes; definitely lost count. Would love to have him again. A class where you must earn your grade.

Despite the fact that this was possibly one of the hardest classes I took as a freshman it was also the most rewarding class I have ever been part of. This class was an experience and I highly recommend it. He really is awesome

Professor Meyers has changed my way of thikning. He is the best professor I have ever had. Yes the work load is a bit more than what we are used to, but you get SO MUCH out of his classes. You would be stupid not to take his class just based off the low "easiness" level. But if you're lazy then dont waste his time...have fun going nowhere in life.

Dr Meyers is awesome! You will learn more from him than any other class. He spent 3 classes discussing how we are surrounded by racism without even know it and what we can do to stop it. Hard class - need to do the work but its worth it.

He is awesome! You will learn a ton in his class. I even kept my notes for the future. Gives quizzes every week, (99% of material straight from slides) This guy has done everything, listen to him. Has an afterclass club which is full of discussion. Get involved in class and you may get an amazing recommendation letter. 1 midterm 1 final and 1 paper

Awesome professor. DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE OR EAT IN CLASS, he will ask you to leave. This is the only class i dont mind waking up for even when im hungover. You need to work in his class, but its really interesting. Pop quizzes almost every week, TAKE HIM! OH& it doesnt hurt that hes kind of hot !

He's an awesome professor. If you have the chance to take him do it! He's extremely helpful and makes class interesting. He gives quizzes at the end of the chapter but gives the exact same questions on the midterm and final. Not the easiest class but you will definitely learn a lot.

I absolutely love Dr.Meyers. I took him for Social Psychology and Forensic Psychology. He taught me so much. The class isn't easy if you don't work hard and follow directions. I wish he taught more Psych. classes. As long as you pay attention, come to class, study, and participate you'll do well. He's also really funny so that helps! (:

He's sort like of an actor, role playing by himself every illustrations, which sometimes are criminal cases he had in the past. what do you know, he's also a TV show host. I love his presenting style. Take his class, learn a tons from it, and take advantage of all his experiences and wisdom. he sounds intimidating in the syllabus but he's not!

Very interesting class and awesome professor. However, you cannot be a lazy student. You must read text book prior to class and be prepared for "pop quizzes" . Also make sure to read the syllabus before the first day of class or you will be sorry .

I feel as though this is by far the best course I've had at St John's. Every class I learned so many new things. I actually enjoyed coming to this class because I knew that I would learning new and interesting material every meeting. Not only did I learn in this class but what I did learn sticks with me. It' not just in one ear and out the other.

You must take Dr. Meyers before graduating . I took him for soc psych too. Awesome professor! He will make you work for your grade but it is worth the experience. Dr. Meyers is one of the best professors at St. John's University, and he's only an adjunct. Having said that, make sure you are willing to dedicate all your time to this course, and then some. I've never felt so stressed out in my entire life. I'm a straight A student and I got a D on the midterm. Hardest semester of my life

Dr. Meyers tells you exactly what he expects on the first day and how to do it. Its more work than other classes but he really prepares you and you learn alot. Dr. Meyers is a great professor. He is very organized with his power points and you want him to know your name so be sure to participate! HOWEVER, if you're lazy and aren't willing to work hard for a good grade you will fail. If you don not read you will fail. Be sure to take great detailed notes. NO LAPTOPS OR PHONES IN CLASS. He's great tho lol

Dr. Meyers is like no other professor you will ever have. His class is challenging, and extremely demanding. You will most likely walk out with a decent grade, but will have to work your behind off to get it. That being said, his lectures made every second worth it. I promise you it will be an experience you never forget.

He was one of the best professors I've had at SJU! While it was very hard and I didn't get the grade I would have liked, I still would take the class again! He is very helpful and was even willing to help me with a situation which was unrelated to school. He is very respectful of students situations and looks to make the class reflective of that.

One of the best professors I've ever had! If you do not care about your work, do not take this course. This is not an "easy A," and you can not "skate by." That being said, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had as a student.

Caring is another description I would add. I am a senior (age related) that registered for this class as an auditor. In all the years I spent in school, from grade school through college, I never had a teacher like Professor Meyers. He made learning so interesting, exciting and so much fun. I would register for any course that he taught.

Dr. Meyers is the best professor at SJU. Only two tests but he tells you that on the first day of class, gives examples of the questions types and tips about studying. I failed the midterm but then followed his advise and got a B-. Dr. Meyers lectures are great - I never learned so much. I signed up for Social Psych in the fall.

Dr. Meyers IS the best. You'll never have a professor like him - his classes are life changing. I took him for Forensic too. You will never learn so much about the subjects and about life. Tough class but a MUST. No phones allowed and only two tests but he tells you that from day one. TAKE HIM!!!

One of my favorite professors at SJU. Dr. Meyers tells you on the first day exactly what he expects of you and what you should expect for the semester. His lectures consist of slides on the screen but he doesn't just read off of them. I actually looked forward to going to his class. DEFINITELY take his class if you can.
