Really good teacher! His study guide is really really close to the actual test.. impossible to fail if u give a little effort! he is always open for discussions and his lessons and stories are very interesting.. never once fell asleep in this class!! take this class if you have the chance!

I have Mr. Moyer for Critial Thinking. He always came up with some great topics, and made us truly think about subjects that we would never think about. He modivated us. His study guides were very helpful for the test that he gave us.

Mr. Moyer was such a nice guy! His class was extremely boring but it was easy. He gives you all answers to test questions so study that and do the weekly assignments and you'll get an A.

Mr. moyer hands down is the best teacher iv had at GCC. He makes class fly by and he is a funny guy. He is the best teacher to take for any class he teaches i guarentee!His class is easy as long as you pay attition and take down the little notes you might have. His study guides follow his tests to a T. He is also very understanding and personal.

Mr. Moyer is a phenomenal teacher. I really can't say enough good things about the guy. He clearly puts a lot of time into constructing his lectures and always takes time to explain himself very clearly. I wish he taught more classes because i would surely attend.

Excellent, kind, smart, and overall fantastic professor overall. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any course you're taking. Isn't hard, understands if your in a predicament and can't get to or make it to class, he'll help you the best he can, and makes the topic very fun and interesting. Perfect for the job and for the best grade.

Absolutely fantastic! Moyer is a nice, fun, spontaneous, and very smart guy. He is one the top 3 best instructors overall my whole academic career overall. Let alone Soc. take Moyer for any class I'm sure he is just as fun and interesting. Point being; take Moyer no matter what class, of Robert Moyer is an option, TAKE IT! You'll get a great grade.

Hands down my FAVORITE professor at GCC! This class is an easy A; do the worksheets, study guides, and précis and you are set! Also attend class, but if you miss a few it's not a big deal (just make sure you e-mail him before hand so he can send you the notes!) He is seriously just the best!!

Tests looked exactly like his study guides. He let us use partners on tests. Every question on the test, he went over during lecture. If you write down everything on the board, you're set for the semester. He's pretty funny too.

Mr. Moyer is by far the best professor ever. his classes are really interesting, the study guide is the test, you can use a partner on the test, and if you miss class he will email you the notes no harm done. he is also really funny and lets you leave early almost every class

Great teacher.

Great teacher, tied with one other for my most favorite. The class is always full of jokes and stories. Everything is explained as he writes the notes up on the board. Full notice is given for tests, as well as a study guide that is a near match of the test itself. He also returns work promptly. I would definitely recommend Mr. Moyer.

Mr. Moyer is my bestfriend and I love this guy! He is funny and always tries to make the class enjoyable, while the subjects he teaches are boring, and sometimes he can be too. He is a lot of fun to have as a teacher

Overall, his class is very easy, with no big assignments and easy tests (he gives you a study guide which is a near match, so if you fail, it's on you.) he's a jolly guy, but his humor wasn't for me and his lectures are often long and always boring. He likes to subtly share his political views in his lectures.

Mr. Moyer is an incredible teacher! He's thorough, hilarious and truly cares about his students. He is clear in his expectations and if you do the required work his class is an easy A. Some of the curriculum is pretty heavy stuff, and Mr. Moyer is exceptionally open-minded, which really made me respect him. 10/10 would recommend.

Mr. Moyer is AMAZING! Best lectures ever, always accessible through email, always lets class out early (but he's so good you want to stay), 4 tests, gives study guides that are harder than the actual test and always gives EC Qs on the tests. There are 10 precis with an easy speech on 1. Group assignments are easy in class but do require the book.

Easily my favorite professor!! I have taken him twice and gotten an A bith semesters. He isn't too boring & genuinely cares about your personal life. Always asks me about my hectic work schedule. He gives you the test as a study guide & then gives you all the answers, then the same sheet of paper for the test. Easy A, super nice & personable, fav.

Moy-moy!!! Best professor by far at RCGC. I took him last year and loved him! Very funny and open. He makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. I did miss a class or two, but it didn't affect my grade; however, I suggest you attend all his classes. He's not boring/hard so you will want to go to his class! I took professor Moyer twice & loved it!

Retired high school principle, he is a great guy with a ton of jokes. I took his sociology class and he doesnt seem to care about the material, he just relates it all to his own life and the whole class gets caught up in his stories. Theres a test/quiz every couple weeks and 10 short papers due throughout the semester. One of the best prof I've had

One of the best classes I've taken. Very simple and easy, yet I still learned. No pressure.10 simple one page papers on topics from your notes. 3 or 4 exams that are exactly like the study guide and you have the option to work with a partner. There are riddles after every test and if you get the answer correct you get extra credit. Nicest man ever.

If you don't like hearing about your professor's personal life than this class isn't for you. He relates a lot of the things he discusses to things in his life, which I liked, but may not be everyone cup of tea.

So easy. Go over two chapters and test which is so easy. Just show up. write 1 page essay each week, only need ten altogether on anything and it doesnt have to be good and you will get an A. And hes the sweetest professor ever

This class was extremely easy and very enjoyable. I looked forward to his classes each day I had them. He keeps you interested in the material and relates to his own life. He makes some great jokes and is an amazing character. There were only 4 exams and 10 short papers throughout the class. Please take him if you have the opportunity.

One of my favorite professors I've had. I have his class twice on the same day, and I love it. The stories he shares with his class are inspiring and hilarious at the same time. You can tell he really cares about his students. Instead of buying the textbook, he provides notes using information from the book. I hope I have him again.

His class is very simple, the note's to the lecture are already provided. He goes in depth with his lecture and gives stories about the topic he's discussing. Enjoyed taking his class, and having him as the professor.

Fall semester fo 2022. Great class. Super nice professor and keeps lectures entertaining with stories and jokes. Not many assignments, just double spaced 1 page paper every week about your opinion on a topic. Study guide exactly like quizzes (only about 4 quizzes in total for the semester). Attendance counts. Would definitely take class again.

Mr. Moyer is one of the best professors l've ever had. He is so caring and I loved talking to him every morning. He gets to know all of his students on a personal level and makes class fun and enjoyable. If you have the chance to take him, PLEASE DO IT!

I absolutely love this man. He is so sweet and feels like a grandfather telling us stories. His coursework is easy as long as you pay attention and he is very lenient with work and attendance. There is a textbook, but you don't need it unless you want to do some extra reading. He provides notes and study guides and overall he is so sweet and kind.

Mr. Moyer is a charming and kind man. The countless stories he tells take up the majority of the lectures. At times, it almost feels like he's doing a stand-up routine for the class. The homework is incredibly easy, and the tests are the study guide verbatim. He gives off a lot of grandfather energy, and if you like that, he's a wonderful teacher.
