TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He's the best!!!! need I say more? I'm not a U.S. citizen, so I feared this course. From the very first class I knew I would do well, and I pulled it off and was awarded an A+. He explains thoroughly, and constantly reiterates his points. I'm only sad I had to leave his class. CHOOSE HIM, and you wont regret it! I promise.

The most outstanding person that Osceola Campus could have ever hired. Dr.Rogers is a very knowledgeable,understanding, and charismatic person who loves the subject. This professor is a joke. A monkey can get an A+. He's a nice guy, but it's almost too much. This class won't challenge you at all. All you have to do to get an A is register for the class.

Robert Rogers is a very helpful, understanding, and charismatic individual who makes his class very interesting and easy to understand without sticking to the book. Dr.Rogers is humorous, helpful, and a very nice guy. You won't regret taking this class. I didn't even touch the textbook once and I passed with an A. All you have to do is pay attention and be prepared for the "celebrations," (that's what he calls the tests.)

Rogers is the sweetest guy. His class is super easy. There's almost no homework or work for the class period. If you're looking for an easy class, this would be it.

I HATED government before this teacher. He makes it easy to understand and remember. I have a 3 hour 2x a week class with him and I actually ENJOY going.I want to take him for the next semester so I have something to look forward to!

He is really easy. You have to show up to class in order to get a good grade. Every day he gives us a powerpoint and notes to take. There were 3 tests, all were off the notes he gave us in class. I never bought the book and we never needed it. He is really into teaching and loves what he does. Take him. He's pretty cool.

If there is one word to describe this professor, it is respectful. He puts so much effort into making sure that your learning experience is a good one that it sometimes becomes over the top. Regardless, I would recommend this man to ANY student for ANYTHING, a truly great person all around.

Professor Rogers had an influence on my overall GPA this semester. To prove it; I ended all my classes with straight A's. I have NEVER in my life made these kind of grades. He uplifts your spirit. Professor Rogers is a great guy! The class is insanely easy to pass, so long as you show up for class and take notes. He asks you questions from the test the day before, so you pretty much know exactly what is on it. He makes his lectures interesting, unlike most professors. I HIGHLY recommend him, he is awesome and a great guy!

Dr. Rogers is an understanding, extremely optimistic, and awesome teacher. He is clear, direct and always cheerful. His online government class is at your own pace and he's always ready to help fix any problems. He grades quickly and leaves feedback for every assignment. Dr. Rogers really cares about his students.

He is a blast to be around and learn from. Always has a smile on his face and always says hi. His lectures are interesting and tests never have surprise questions that you never learned. Just take notes, mostly listen, and you'll enjoy this class. Very understanding. I would recommend this class to basically any one!!

Prof. Rogers has a great attitude toward teaching and his students. Going to class helps you get a great grade because he teaches exactly what will be on the test, and you don't need the book. He gives BIG hints about what is on each test. Only 3 test and the final is one of them. the final is not cumulative. Only 3 little homework assignments

No book purchase is necessary at all, but you need to go class each time to take his notes because that's all what it comes on his tests. Two essay's in the whole semester, three tests are given;including the final and a group project done in class.Willing to help all and loves to joke around! Extremely polite person. Easy A+ if u take his notes!

Great teacher, he tells you what is expected in an assignment and if you do it you will get a good grade.I would recommend anyone to take him. Some of the class can be boring but that is small stuff and does not take very long to get through it.

I took the online class and loved this guy! Super friendly and helpful. Responded to emails quickly. He graded the assignments fairly. I challenged a few questions on tests and got credit for them after he legitimately wasn't able to find the correct answer either. He didn't just blow me off. Easy to get an A if you do a little work.

Dr. Rogers is by far the best teacher at valencia. He will tell you exactly what will be on each test and it is clear what is expected. Drop that other U.S. governemnt teacher and take this guy, I promise you will get an A.

Professor Rogers is by far one of my favorite professors at Valencia. He is very open, willing to help, and funny. He shows that he cares about his students. He makes it easy to get an A. He only gives three assignments and three exams throughout the whole term! If you study hard for the exams, you will definitely get an A! Take him!

EXREMELY helpful! You could ask him any question and he'd do his best to help you. There was an easy group project. He gives you the stuff you need to know for the test and the essays. Study that and its an easy A!

WONDERFUL professor! Very knowledgable, he makes sure you know exactly what is going on before having you take the test, and he holds review sessions with the answers before every test. He makes the subject enjoyable and fun. There's minimal work for this class, just stay awake through the lectures and you'll be fine!

One of the sweetest teachers I have ever met. If you like interactive lectures, this is definitely the teacher to take. He has outlined the entire book and will only discuss relevant information. We review everyday what we learned the day before and at the end of class what we have just learned. No need to buy the textbook (Thank God)! :D

Took the class online. He was very clear on expectations. Test are open book BUT reading and taking notes of the material beforehand is recommended. The projects are fun but take some time. He is a very understanding and encouraging teacher. I highly recommend him.

Professor ir very knowledgeable in the subject. Class is very clear, and it is very easy to follow the powerpoint. Tries to make the class fun. Make sure to take notes and review them the night before test, and before class. Test are pretty straightforward and easy if one reviews. If any help is needed, the professor is willing to help everyone.

Best prof you will ever find. He is is so sweet and adorable but doesn't like if people talk or text in his class ( but that should be most prefessors). Anyway he reviews the exact things that are going to be on the test. just a couple of assignments and one group project. He makes the class be so much fun.

Took the class online. There is ALOT of reading if you want to pass. You will definitely need the book. There were 5 assignmentspapers and 5 tests. Tests are straight from the book. You have three hours for the them but if you didn't read, the 3 hours aren't enough. The assignments are straightforward and he gives good feedback. Great professor.

Dr. Rogers is a really good professor and if you have the chance to take him i would recommend him 100%. He makes the class fun and easy to pass, telling you everything that is going to be on the test. The class is not hard to get an A and he makes it really interesting.

Lecture Class, No need for Textbook, Taking notes is very helpful, gives you an outline for each unit. Reviews test questions the class before test day, makes it almost impossible to fail unless you simply don't try. Dynamic speaker, truly knows what he is teaching.

1st semester of college. took online (flex start), and it was fairly easy to me. 5 assignments. 5 test. His learning modules didn't help for test which is really important for knowing whats on the test. I just did my own thing. I read the chps, took notes, and immediately took the test after I finished a chps. You can use your notes. B+ for me.

Robert Rogers is is extremely helpful! There are only three tests and three assignments. If you pay attention, take notes, and ask for help when needed it's impossible to fail. He tells you EXACTLY what is going to be on your tests. He even offers to help you on your essay questions beforehand. Definitely recommend him!

Professor Rogers truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. He replies quickly and explains all assignments carefully. Truly has the students best interest in mind and is so genuine. Tests can be tricky, but you have 3 hrs to complete them. Amazing teacher. Highly recommend!

Great professor. His lectures are super long, but they're in-depth and fun to listen to, so you won't be bored out of your mind. He's super helpful before exams because you can have him review your mini essays. It's so obvious he cares about the students. He's also a very nice and understanding person. Take whatever he's teaching.

Here is a great and extremely kind professor and he looks out for all of his students if you need any help. His lectures are long but he makes them interesting and relevant for us. He does get frustrated a bit if the class gets distracted so make sure to pay attention! I highly recommend him and I hope to take him again for any other class.

I know he wanted everyone in the class to pass with an A because he told us everything that was going to be on the exam and he made sure that we all understood what he was speaking about. You do not need your text book at all. The only think you need for this class is to study. Compassionate & great teacher.

PROFESSOR ROGERS IS SO SWEET & ADORABLE! Honestly one of the sweetest instructors I've ever had! Whenever I had something last minute come up he was always very flexible & understanding! Just always be sure to take notes during the lectures since there is a lot of info to know for tests. Tests are fairly easy only if you study! I would take again!

This guy is the best. I personally messed up by saving my work until the end of the semester (don't do that) but he is very organized and spreads out the coursework throughout the semester. Follow the reading and turn in work on time and you'll do fine. Excellent professor. Would him take again.

Professor Rogers was a great professor. I took him for US Government and he was awesome! You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and is passionate about government. The only downside is that his tests are the majority of your grade, so you HAVE to study.

He is an amazing professor and lays everything out for you at the beginning of the semester. Your grade consists of 4 exams and two or three assignments. None of the exams have due dates and everything is work at your own pace. He is very caring for his students and the exams are challenging but all open book. I took online and I would recommend!

First impression: I HATE Gov't, didn't wanna take it at all. He is making me enjoy politics it's magic. Reasonable amount of work and lectures make you wonder if it's a lecture or just a conversation we're having.

Great professor! Dr. Robert Rogers cares about his students and you can tell he loves teaching. The lectures are a bit boring, but he is funny. His grading criteria is not super clear, so if you don't understand something ask him. He is super nice and will answer all your questions. You do not need the textbook at all.

Professor Rogers US Government course is the best. I loved his lectures and learned so much. He is very polite and never calls on anyone unless they want to speak. The reviews for exams make it impossible to fail if you study. Also these is a group project that was fun.

Text was interesting. Assignments are worth a total of 105 pts but you only need 90 for an A. Assignments have a due date, but tests don't, which can actually be negative if you're a procrastinator (like me) but otherwise, a solid plus. Asked for feedback on a grade & got a kind and thoughtful response, overall all recommend this class & prof.

Excellent, on occasion inspiring, lecturer. Lots of history combined with government made the course interesting.

Great professor! Tests don't have a due date, but other assignments do. I enjoyed his assignments, although they were long. They were very interesting and easy. Tests are based on the textbook.

Super sweet guy. Class is an easy A because he doesn't need you to remember a million obscure facts. He just wants you to learn, and you will! You can tell he loves what he does, and it makes his lectures really easy to listen to. I have a BAD memory, and his tests were so easy for me because his lectures were so great and fun that I retained them.

There are a two group projects for this class, a few homework assignments, a midterm and a final. Dr Rogers is a great guy, he makes class enjoyable and is sweet and understanding. He is very knowledgeable about international politics and government. He will give you good feedback on essays and anything you have to do for his class. I enjoyed it.

Had him for US Government and Internatioal Politics. Dr. Rogers tried hard to make the courses interesting. The College seems to be flooded with dual enrolled high school students who use their cell phones and talk a lot in class. So happy he did not allow it.

I love Dr. Rogers IP class. The lectures are great! Great powerpoints and vedios. The assignments are long but not hard. You know from the first day of class exactly what they are and when they are due. He is a really nice person!

He was the sweetest! Knows the material he covers isn't always the most exciting and tries super hard to make his lectures enjoyable. There are only a few assignments and he does a big review before the mid term and final which are carbon copies of the actual tests.

Have Dr. Rogers for US Gov this summer. He is a very nice. Always quick to answer my questions. It is a super course and he is a very fair grader. But watch out! He checks for plagiarism and will reduce your grade if he finds it!

I just read the last review and it is a lie. For every exam he always gave the class all of the essay questions and the answers and GIANT hints on the multiple choice questions. He is an excellent teacher-explains everything again and again until everyone understands it. Friends are taking him now and they say the same thing.

Had him fr US Government and now for INR. Great Professor. Messed up that people would say things about him that are not true just because they were called out for disrupting class or they got a bad grade.

Prof. Rogers gives 3 assignments and 3 tests. As long as you take notes and pay attention to the lectures, you'll pass. There's always an in class review before the test and he goes over the important parts so many times that they're practically imbedded in your memory. He's cheesy / funny when giving his lectures so paying attention isn't hard.

Honestly, his class contains material you can find online without the book. Don't bother buying the code because its all online. He gives you resources for the assignments you have to do. His class consists of five multiple choice "exams" as well as four easy written assignments. He's also quick to respond for any questions. I took it online. :)

Really learned a lot about International Politics-opened my eyes to problems I never would have thought of. We switched from classroom to online and it was smooth. Dr. Rogers tried hard to make everyone comfortable. He is a very fair grader and the requirements for assignments were very clear. Most of the students I know got an A.

I think Professor Rogers is a solid choice for a professor. I will admit that International Politics as a course was a let down (material wise bc it was very boring), but Professor Rogers is so kind and made it worthwhile. His assignments are very detailed and he's very approachable if you're ever confused. He also goes over the midterm and final!

He was the best professor at Valencia. So sad he has passed away. The school and students were so lucky to have him.
