One of best teachers I ever had. 4 courses, all A's. Not suited for BCC, should teach graduate level. Course's hard and complex. Need 2 hours of homework for every classroom hour. Made students cry with his sharp wit! Normal student should avoid him!
I don't like him one bit. As someone else stated, he does indeed have a snide side to his personality. His homework assignments are vague and confusing.

He's the only teacher I've ever had that gave a quiz on a chapter, then a test on that chapter, then assigned a group project where we pick our own groups based on our strengths and weaknesses by talking to each other. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Bad teacher

I graduated from bcc and I realized that everything Prof. Saldarini said and did was correct. He makes his classes hard for us, so once we go to another college we are ahead of the game. Of course hes not easy, IT is not easy.
If you r ready 4 a BIG ASS load of work, take him, otherwise don't cuz it'll mess up ur GPA.

I took this professor despite his 'bad' ratings. Why? There is a lot to learn from this professor. He teaches real world applications and scenarios and teaches you not only the subject but work ethics as well. Pay attention do you work and youll ace!
Leadership bootcamp was real tough at first, but at the end of it all it was worth it. Great professor, knows his stuff, may come off a tough and sarcastic, but if you make the effort and study, you'll make it

Speaking technically, engaging in technical conversation, happened once within Prof Saldarini class, that was at the end of the semester presenting our presentation on any technical topic, to me that is not learning a lot about technical communications!

Im suprised this guy is still a teacher. Tenure should not apply to this guy. Thats the only reason Bergen has to keep him. He is RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND A DOWNRIGHT BORING.Bergen is a great school, but this clown takes away from Bergens overall rating.....Make him teach underwater basket weaving.

Knows his stuff BUT some of the examples he uses sometimes sound ****. Whenever he brings up the topic of being responsible and how if you're not, you'll be working at Wendys or Payless...for some reason he looks at the minorities in the class. He should act less as a robot and more as a human being...
He is very emotional and has such an easily bruisable ego,therefore weak at judgement, not professional enough. He tries too hard to be tough yet he cannot succeed, ends up being rude.He's not so bad actually,just not good enough.He probably hates teaching or is just lazy because half of the class, he just sits there which, is amazing.

I hate this guy. Not only does he not help you but when he gives his 2 cents he is very unclear. This pompous ass wouldn't give me an extension on my exam when my grandfather died suddenly on the week I was to take it. I don't know why Bergen keeps this guy around. What an ass.

Ok ok so he is a tough one but I gotta admit I learned a lot from this class and if you take the class seriously, you won't see him as bad as everyone else in here...he has a weird sense of humor but it still made me laugh!
All i can say is STAY AWAY from this Prof he is very rude i had to take late withdral from his class he was failling half of the class this semester he is the worse Prof i ever had he will fail you very easily STAY AWAY from him he will mess up ur GPA!
its so sad to see how many people dislike professor saldarini. this guy is amazing he is soo helpful and writes some amazing recommandations. The reason all of these kids are giving him bad ratings is because they are immature and probably alot of them are freshmen and dont know what to expect from a REAL college professor. Hes Amazing!!
This Professor has so much knowledge to share. I was actually impressed with his presentations. He is willing to help those that help themselves first. His preparation for the real world is raw but true. Effort is what gets you a passing grade.
Aced this class but seriously no thanks to him. He knows a lot but he's no help. I'm a straight A student and I had to kill myself to ace the class. Definitely try someone else. He hated questions and would answer by telling you to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS even if you still had doubt.

Have the on line class now all you do is do the stuff and it ain't that hard. graded project for each lesson instead of in the class what has lab tests for each office part. sample tests are exactly the same kinda questions as real ones. Guy always answers yer email fast if you have questions.
Just about to finish his online MS Office class with an A. Textbook and software assignments are dead easy but his assignments really lack clarity. If you're emailing more than a simple question, good luck-his email responses suck. He also has a big ego. Still easy to get an A doing your practice exams; they're nearly identical to the actuals.
If you do the training you gotta get an A on the test, he posts just grades and percent of training. all the people who did the training got A. Always answered my emails.
Prof Saldarini has a reputation on this site as well as around the college that is entirely unwarrented. He simply treats his students as if they are actually college students. He expects performance at the level of higher education and nothing more. He is understanding, helpful and direct. His classes prepare you for the job market. A+ Prof.

Prof S will keep you laughing. Take his class. He makes Tech Communications very interesting. He's fair and very knows his subject. Do your work and you'll do well. Expect to be treated as an adult and to be on time. Some assignments are a bit odd, but you'll learn to appreciate a good professor. WYSIWYG. He's great!

This class is an "A" if you do the SAM stuff. The practice exams are exactly the same format as the real ones. The guy always answers your email the same or next day.
I am taking this class online, and his directions a confusing. Then i can send him a 3 paragraph email asking questions and get a 1 line useless response. This has happened like 4 times. He does not seem to give 2****s about this class.
The class has a lot of stuff. The guy always asks us to post our stuff if we get a good grade so others can take a look at it. This helps alot. Not sure what the other dude means cause the teacher always answers my emails pretty fast.

Prof. Saldarini is college professor, not a high school teacher. He expects you to do your work and do it well. I took this class online. If you do the trainings you'll get a good grade. If you're looking for an 'easy' class where you do nothing, learn nothing, look elsewhere, but if you're willing to work for you're A I wouldn't take anyone else.
Professor Saldarini gave us real lessons to prepare us to lead. The class taught me alot and will help me go where I want to go professionally.

I take his Internet App. course. There's no doubt that the man is an expert in his field. He doesn't explain the subjects clearly to people who are beginners and the book doesn't help either. When asking questions, he'll avoid giving a definite answer just for you to figure it out. When it comes to tests, it's clearly meant for intermediate people.
The best thing to take this course online with this guy. He like lives out here and answers your email fast. The problems are not hard, stupid software gave problems but the teacher gave us paper tests plus extra points cause of the software problems.
His lectures are OK and he knows a lot about the material however he expects too much out of his students. His lab assignments can sometimes be OK but sometimes impossible and he is a very hard grader. Take him only if you have to in your major.
His lectures are funny and he seems to know the topic well. His labs are mostly pointless research assignments. The tests are worded to confuse you, with options like All, None, and A and B. If you ask him for help he will tell you that you aren't trying hard enough. He teaches it once and expects you to be an expert. Requires unused lab manual.
There is alot of stuff in this class to cover. The professor will get you ready to go to work. Labs are okay. I always finish them in class. I really want to work in computers so I took this guy.
I took this teacher for Tech com and then dropped it. He isn't teaching it this semseter and they have an India woman teaching it. Do matter what you say, take him if he ever teaches it again!!!!!
Great online class. No discussion board like some of the others to answer all the time. Do the projects and stuff ontime, all is good. He always answers your email fast. Took the course on campus first, hours on stuff that can take you a few minutes if you know your way about on a computer. Dropped it and took it online. U'r best bet.
he's a great teacher. very professional. gets you ready for the real world. he has a hilarious sense of humor. he describes his class room as the mecca, and the internet as the cyber god. and when its time for a lab every1 must prostrate before the cyber god "puts arms in air and brings them down as if he's bowing". lol.
Because of him, I believe I am not going to consider taking an online course, ever again. Although, he responded fairly quickly to emails, his responses never helped me. Labs were fairly easy if you knew your stuff. Pretty hard Tests considering it was suppose to be an easy class to receive an "A".
Course is just what it is, just do the lessons, the labs and know how to get around Office you can't get lower than a b-grade. The guy always answers the questions. NO awful discussion groups where you have to participate. He gives 10 free questions on the exam which is cool, cause you can get 10 wrong and still get a 100.

Although responsive with his emails, they are about as cryptic as chinese arithmetic, he gets too shakespearean with his emails and he is clearly in love with his own writing. The guy is great, teaches you real world stuff in marketing. Tells you how to market since the crash, the book sure doesn't. The ads and commercials he uses are funny and sometimes way weird.

Best online class I ever took. Everything is right there from the first day, just go about your work and all is well. Not easy but you do the work you get the grade. He gives 10 point curve on every test!

He is probably one of the most useless, careless, selfish, self-centered professors I've ever dealt with. He isn't helpful when you need assistance and his assignments are extremely cumbersome and sometimes inconceivable, its absolutely ridiculous. Even talks down to students.

Please do not waste your time with this professor!!! This is the first time I had to withdraw from a college class. He doesn't explain information thoroughly and goes through one chapter in 2 classes then we had a test =[ . It was just plain horrible !

Excellent professor, probably the most difficult at BCC. Brilliant business man with extensive knowledge. You will walk out of this class a professional if you take it seriously. Tests are very difficult and this class is not for the non studiers or people looking for an easy A. If you are lazy, don't take it and miss a great opportunity.

One of the best classes I ever took. Helped me get a job because I was able to ace the interview. You must read the book and attend the class. He is very fair because he lets you throw out any five questions you don't like on his test.
I'm a good student, always on time always paying attention and let me tell you this guy is worthless. He just uses the powerpoints that come with the book, sort of rereads them and just spews nonsense for 90 mins. The best piece of advice I can give you is, find out what chapters the test is on and read. But your actually better off not taking him.
He uses the book a lot so just keep up with the reading. He gives good insight and has real world experience in marketing. As long as you pay attention keep up with the reading and shiwbup to class you'll be alright. Attendance us not manditory butbif you dint go to class you won't make it. Prof. Saldarini is a great professor. He lectures in each class to enhance what is written in the required textbook. His instructions for projects is clear and concise. You are required to work for your A, but that if for your benefit!
Honestly, the class is not an easy A. He is extremely helpful, and is willing to go over the test with you during office hours if you did poorly. You MUST read the textbook BEFORE each class. If not, you'll be lost and due terribly on the tests. He offers extra credit on the tests to students who are on time. Tests can be hard. Optional final exam.
Professor is EXTREMELY critical with all work submitted, to the point of being rude. I took him online and would not recommend using this professor online. Course content overall was good if you are a business major.

Absolutely terrible teacher. Extremely rude and demoralizing towards students, also could not care less about how students perform in his class. Unclear about what is needed to study for tests. Stresses being a good leader and supportive but he is the complete opposite.

Regardless of what anyone says, this professor is one of the best you will find. He is in no way easy but he is 100% fair.. He is not rude, but it is bluntly honest. Alright, here's how it is. This is probably one of the hardest teaches you will ever take, but he is very smart. His test literally have nothing to do with the lecture, you need to read the book front to back and take notes on the chapters. You will learn so much in this class it's ridiculous but it will be very challenging. Would take again.
Okay so if you are stuck with this guy, good luck. BOOK IS MANDATORY TO GET AN A, but not needed in class. This Professor is TOUGH, MEAN but if you show him your dedication to hard work, he may be nice to you. In order to get an A: Ask him what chapters from the book the test will be on. Outline every chapter and teach yourself. Listen in class.
Lectures account for five extra credit Q's on each test. The rest of the test is strictly textbook. Does not give tests back or review them. Does not actually teach. He's definitly not a peoples person, he comes off as a jerk. He mostly uses powerpoints. I took him for marketing and management back to back. Worst thing ever. there's a big project for each class, presentation included, exams are long, you always need to be on time. For exam day, if you're on time he gives you extra credit questions.
Online is A LOT more work than in class. Expect to study least 8 hours a week. This class is built to make you professional, you are expected to act the part. Multiple exams (5 point curve), weekly quizzes and discussions, and a final project. Google doesn't help. He is critical, don't expect babying. An interesting challenging class, I enjoyed it.

This was my toughest class in BCC, however; it was the most rewarding. This professor really prepares you with the truth of the real world as well as the difficulty of business school in a university. Yes he may be hard, but he gives priceless advice and insight to what's really important in succeeding. Eternally grateful for his teachings.

Took online Summer class because I wanted to finish my degree ASAP. Look, not an easy A by all means but not impossible. He does give a good amount of essays and criticizes them, I got all B's and an A though and i hate writing. Tests arent too bad just know your stuff. I would take him again if I absolutely had too.
I read the reviews here and thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. It is. I've had enough of his rude, sarcastic, and pedantic demeanor. All it takes is one glance at the Moodle page, with pages of diversity notes, PowerPoints & grammar quizzes. This was barely relevant to my major. Take it with ANYONE else.
this class has to be by far the most unorganized disaster of a web based class that I have ever taken. This is my 4th online class i have taken and none have come to so much struggle and hair pulling out. his quizes and assignments are only open for 12 hours so if you are a full time worker, you are screwed. very tough grader, expects MBA type work

I never truly felt the need to even bother to write a review, but this professor truly is the epitome of a sad, sad old man. From the start of the class I could tell he was a reject through his whole life, and it shines each and every time I visit his moodle page. Only take this class as a resort, and hopefully he gets fired soon enough.

I took him back in the 90's. Sorry to see he hasn't changed. Marked me wrong on a test because he said that my position wasn't responsible for a task. My boss wrote him a letter stating he was wrong. Still wouldn't change it.
Thanks for absolutely nothing. This class didn't enrich me in any way, instead he made me feel dumb and I felt like anything I would post in a discussion was wrong, or not in his favor. Do not take him!!! I tried to warn everyone in my previous classes.
I was curious to see if this professor has changed at all and it seems to have only gotten worse. Wow. I was one of those students who didn't believe it could be that bad and not was I wrong.. I passed his class by the skin of my teeth. He is educated but absolutely NO teaching skills whatsoever. Prepare yourself. Good luck.
