Dr. Sinn is a great Stat teacher and he makes it really easy to get an A. If you do your homework and go to class, you should have no problem.

Dr. Sinn is a great teacher!!! He is always willing to help his students. Go to class and do the work, and do any extra credit you can and you should be fine! Two thumbs up for Sinn. I would recommend him to anyone interested in stats.

Dr. Sinn is wonderful. If he is rude-it is because the smart ass college students in his class provoke him. He goes out of his was time and time again to make sure everyone understands and gets it all done. Everyone should be as luck as to have Dr. Sinn as their professor.

Dr. Sinn does not have an attitude problem! He is simply very opinionated. He tries to make a hard and boring subject seem interisting. The only problem is those lazy bums who fall asleep in class and give him a bad rating. Fall asleep = fail the course!? Duh! Hmm.. that's a correlation there.

Well, what can I say?.. I think that Dr. Sinn is an outstanding individual whose example in life is worth taking note of.. He is very peppy and jovial. A fine speciman, in fact, I'm still waiting for him to come to class naked-as promised Dr. Sinn!!!

Great professor. I hate math but his class was actually enjoyable. He allows you to use that expensive calculator you have to buy (even on test). He enjoys teaching math and it shows in his class. Take if you can.

AWESOME!!!! So easy and likes technology. Kind of lame jokes that keep you awake in the morning. I made an A on every test. He is really helpful. I would take every class with him if I could.

Statistics with Dr. Sinn is the easiest A I have ever made. He doesn't assign homework and compared to other professors assigns the fewest number of projects. If you go to class everyday or make As on all of the test you will be able to exempt the final!

Nice guy. Really attempts to keep you awake in his 8 AM classes. You have to do practice problems often in order to make a good grade on his tests. He expects you to practice. YOU EXEMPT THE FINAL IF YOU COME TO EVERY CLASS!!! Yay!!

Most fun I've had in a class. Likes to teach from PowerPoint, not my style, but it is effective. Gargantuan statistics project for the semester, but he is very helpful in and out of class. Tests are long, but doable. HINT: Don't call him a statistician... he's not, and he will let you know that! Highly recommend signing up for any of his classes.

Dr. Sinn makes any subject relevant and gives you all the tools you need for subsequent courses in math and science. He's very helpful outside of class and takes interest in students overall success in college. Great Professor, all around.

Doctor Sinn is pretty cool! Sure he is hard, but he makes himself available to his students and he definitely has a good feel to remain on a subject if students aren't picking it up. He's a regular guy, very good teacher, and very excited about what he teaches. I may not have much interest in the subject, but he works hard to help me understand!

Best math teacher ever. Very entertaining. I highly recommend taking him for statistics. It was very easy to follow him and he doesn't demand too much of you. You use the calculator for all the hard stuff and get to have a notecard for the tests. I had this class at 8 a.m. and got an easy A.

I hate math and Sinn made it understandable and interesting. Examples were applicable to real life. You get notecards on the tests and can exempt the final. Most importantly to me though, he actually cares about his students, he's an awesome guy and I'd take him for 10 more courses if I wasn't done with all my Maths.

Dr. Sinn is the best math teacher I have ever had in my life! He made Calc 1 so interesting, it seemed like a story, and the plot unfolded a little every class meeting. His explanations are CLEAR, and he always has time for his students. Super professor! He'll make you love math!!

By far the best professor I've ever had! I didn't know a thing about Statistics before his class and now I love it! He uses real world examples, his tests are straight forward (no surprises), and he genuinely cares about his students! I wish I wasn't done with my maths! He is certainly a valuable asset to our school.

Dr. Sinn is an amazing stats teacher! His class is easy and he's very helpful. You get to use a 3X5 notecard on all of the tests and he changes the weight of each one in order to help your grade. And if you have an A and have not missed alot of class you can exempt the final. He loves his students and takes the time to try to get to know them.

I'm not so great with numbers, super helpful, has different ways of helping you understand. Great energy, fun, he's funny. You can exempt from final by showing up everyday, maintaining a good grade. If you have problems with Math, he's a great teacher to help you through it, if your real good at math, you will enjoy the enivronment. Great teacher.

Best college professor I've ever had. We don't cover a stressful amount of material but does a great job at making sure you actually learn it. Very funny. come to class with jokes! I hate math and loved this class. Take Dr. Sinn!!!

Entertaining and easy to understand. A very effective speaker and teacher, good at guiding you through not only concepts but also the underlying purposes behind those concepts. Class was heavily hands-on, and student-led, with a large number of projects, presentations, and independent research.

I loved this class and Dr. Sinn. Most 8am classes are a drag to go to. Game Theory was a highlight of my day. He made the class very interactive and encouraged creative thinking to come up with and prove our own theorems. Didn't know what to expect signing up for the class but I would take it again if I could.

Dr. Sinn made this class interesting and fun. As long as you show up, participate and put the time in, you should get an easy A. The tests are easy if you study, if you don't know the stuff you can't pass, because it is all figuring out problems and if you don't know the material you will fail. He is a very fare Professor - I highly recommend him.

I took Dr. Sinn during a summer semester and learned so much! He was really approachable to help out whenever I needed anything and I understood his teaching with no problem. Practice with the subject helped me earn my A in the class and he provided great materials on d2l. Great professor!

Great class! Professor Sinn gets college students- and his lectures show that. I struggle with math, but he taught clearly and in a way that we all understood. Never a dull class with him, he makes lectures fun. More quizzes than tests, but they actually help your grade. Prepare to put in work, but it will pay off at the end of the semester.

I LOVE HIM. I took his class late in the day and he understood we were tired but he made the class fun. He tells you exactly what to expect on tests and gives guidlines on how you should respond. You're allowed a notecard on tests so thats a plus. Oh, final exam exemptions are possible!!!

Dr. Sinn has to be one of the best professors at UNG! He's so funny and nice and does a great job at teaching statistics. He uses actual data from your own class to use in the problems. Easy A, you should definitely take him!

I usually struggle with math, but Sinn knows how to make a class engaging and he teaches the material in a manner I was able to understand. He's a funny and chill dude who likes to tell jokes in late classes to help break the monotony. You'll have to purchase an online book, but it's really just for the Launchpad program.

Very fair. Lets you use a notecard for formulas, and gives an exemption option for final. Takes attendance with app on your phone that is used throughout the class to take polls from which he takes data to use as examples. Take the class.

Dr. Sinn is NO DOUBT the best professor I've had my entire college career. He cares deeply about the subject matter and his students, and does everything in his power to make sure everyone understand the material. I made a C in my algebra class and am terrible at math, but came out of this class with a 96 because of how well Dr. Sinn teaches.

Easy A! Sinn knows most are only taking stat as a major requirement so he doesn't take it to seriously. Material isn't bad because of how well he organizes the info. Allowed a notecard for each test & you know exactly what to expect. Does his best to make lectures more enjoyable. You can exempt final with a high 80 or above. Only 2 tests and a quiz

He is a very cool professor. His class in lecture heavy and he doesn't really give any online way to access notes. SO you have to pay attention in class if you want to know how to do the work. He gives study guides for test and you can use a notecard worth of notes on each test. The tests aren't too hard so the class should be an easy A or B

Dr. Sinn is one of the best professors I've ever had! He explains things very clearly, gives plenty of study material that is exactly like the tests, and allows you to use note cards on each test. There was rarely homework in this class so it's more lecture heavy, but he's hilarious and makes it fun! Go to class, study, & you should be just fine!

He is the best professor I have had on this campus so far. He cares about his students success more than any professor I've known. He puts in a lot of work to make sure the students are prepared for exams. He is so helpful if you do not understand the material. If you want the best chance of getting a high grade in stat TAKE HIM!

This class is not a typical math class because there is coding instead of math. As a Comp Sci major, the coding was not difficult and I had friends who were not Comp Sci majors and they could grasp the concepts easily. Make sure to join the lab sessions because they offer great help for assignments

The class is pretty boring, but it is not hard to get an A because there are a ton of assignments that are relatively easy.

Had homework, video quizzes, labs, and a test every week, so it is a lot of work if you have other classes. Multiple Tries on the quizzes and tests! Midterm and Final (lockdown/cam). He likes to joke a lot, is very helpful, and takes a long time to grade things. He canceled class a lot. Passed with an A and didn't pay attention at all *Hint* *Hint*

Professor Sinn is entertaining. This class is done through Python, and is mostly coding. As long as you attend class and participate in online zoom help sessions, you will easily pass. He directly gives you the answers for most Labs and Homework during the help sessions. Exams are proctored but are incredibly easy. Just participate!

Class is a lot more coding than expected, and uses python. Even if you do not know coding, it is still very easy to learn, since it is not an actual computer coding class. Most of the actual coding is already done for you. Lots of homework, but be sure to go to the online help sessions. They are not too long and help A LOT.

This class is not what I was expecting and is not just normal statistics. It is all coding and is very hard for those that are not good at computer coding. If you join the online help sessions the homework is bearable, I could not do it without joining. There are a lot of video quizzes at the beginning of the semester, and a lot of homework at end.

He's great and hilarious. He always cracks jokes in lecture and keeps it interesting. However, he uses Python to do the problems and it is used HEAVILY. I was lucky to have a little coding experience beforehand, so I had it fairly light. But if you have no experience with code or hate it, do not take him.

Sinn is utterly and totally goated. This guy loves math and stats, but also understands hating either. If you are not a STEM major, this guy is great. Despite popular belief, you DO NOT need to be familiar with python for elementary stats, all the coding is done for you, you just have to deal with the statistical coding, numpy, scipy.stats, etc.
