Stark is a great professor but man does he know alot! Stark talks super fast so lectures moves very quickly, nonstop typing all of class! 3 online exams that cover alot of material, but not awful. Grade also comes from lab and quizzes so can earn points from a variety of places. Not an awful class just a TON of information!

Exams are now in person;however,if you learn and can apply the material from lecture(which is ALOT)you will do fine.GO TO CLASS!A lot of material is covered and moves quick.Stark is willing to help in any way if you are putting the work into the class.Grade is based on 5 exams + easy prepu assignments.Overall highly recommend, but don't try to cram

Horrible professor, I attended ALL the labs and lectures and still did horrible on the exams. I barely passed the class, he will belittle you if you try asking for help. He feels so entitled. Terrible professor. He literally belittles anyone and everyone. There is no doubt that he knows his material, but just because he knows doesn't mean that his students do. He literally expects you to immediately understand and memorize the information he gives out. I wouldn't ever want to take him again.

His lecture exams are crazy hard, and even if you attend all the lectures and labs, the class is so fast-paced and material-heavy that you get overwhelmed. He is very familiar with his material, but if you ask him something of common knowledge, he will humiliate/belittle you. I don't think I want to ever have a professor like him again.

Professor Stark is a good professor considering the course he has to teach. He gives plenty of mnemonics and ways to memorize concepts. About 95-99% of questions will be found somewhere in the slides so he won't try to trick you too much. Just attend lecture and listen. 9 times out of 10 what he says is something you should study. Also funny too.

The class had 4 exams, the lab portion was easy and straight forward but lecture was very difficult even if you study. He does not give extra credit anymore and will throw a tantrum when you ask for it or any type of grade boost. When he's in a bad mood he will humiliate you. I managed to get a B but the class average was a 71% and he did not care.

This professor has literally no chill at all. He will yell at you in front of your entire lab section for the smallest thing ever. Also literally only grades exams. I will say that the exams are mostly on the powerpoints, but even with studying the way he phrases things on the exam makes it difficult. There's not really a choice on who to take tho

His lectures are fine but even if you do study there's no way for you to get an A in his class unless ur actually insane. His exams are literally phrased weirdly and you can't even comprehend it sometimes. I would not take his classes again if I had the choice.

Super rude teacher. He belittles everyone; his students and his instructors. He does not care about anyone but himself and just because he has a PhD, he thinks it gives him the right to talk down on people. His lectures are insanely boring and he talks too fast. His tests are so difficult and tries to fail everyone. I wish there were more options.

Genuinely had the worst experience with this professor, sure I had an A in the class, but this professor is just ridiculous. He only has exams and quizzes as part of the gradebook. He tends to look down upon students, almost made us feel as if we're beneath him every single lab/lecture. I'm warning you readers right now, take a different professor.

Though I managed to get a decent grade, I would not take his class again. He is very arrogant and puts students down with intimidation. His exams are hard and most of the time still confusing even if you study. Few things in the grade book so little space for error. My tip; study a ton, go to lecture, be on top of the assignments, and study more.

Yes, he is sarcastic, yes he makes you feel like he's above you but cmon he has a PhD and he knows what he's talking about. Overall the course was a breeze if you take the time to study. Lecture exams are heavy but he has everything recorded for you on canvas. Lab exams are straightforward. He is the only option so you better study.

He can be rude sometimes, but it's okay. The thing that I liked about him that he posted his lectures , so if I missed the details during the lecture. I can go watch those lecture videos. The exams are hard tough, some questions are tricky, just try your best , you'll be okay.

Avoid this professor at all costs. His exams are deliberately designed to fail students—confusingly worded biochemistry problems disguised as physiology, with trick questions on topics never taught. He demands units in lectures but bans them on exams (marking correct answers wrong for formatting), and punishes for minor typos like spaces or commas.

Dr. Stark is a professor I'd hope no one had to take a class with. His lectures have an overwhelming amount of information. He talks very fast and if you ask a question, he will belittle you rudely right away. Like I understand he has a Phd and knows what he's talking about but that doesn't mean we will get all the material in an instance.

Exams are absurdly wordy/tricky, clearly meant to filter, not teach. Prof's "fix"? Turn in a blank final to retake (yes, really). Top 20% thrive; the rest fight for Cs you can't improve later. Unfair system, zero support. Avoid unless you love pain. King of YAPPING. Lectures drag forever with pointless rambling.

Lots of resources for lab exams, but for lecture all you can really do is watch his lecture videos- videos are very similar to in person lectures, like he runs on a script with the same jokes and everything. He's pretty accessible during his office hours and he'll answer your questions, but comes off as condescending.

He's honestly an OK professor, but he has this attitude where he thinks he's always right, and he gets mad when you're not doing something right in lab when he doesn't explain it very well. He also marks off points for just little mistakes like commas, numbers (e.g., if the answer was 93.65 and you put 93.7, it's wrong), spaces, etc.

Spends 20+ minutes on one slide. Some lectures were required to be watched on Canvas, and some of them are 6+ years old, dating back to 2019. His tests are really difficult and most times do not reflect what was on the PowerPoint. His Canvas is the most unorganized and difficult to navigate I have ever seen. Talks about his sexual life in class...

After taking Stark for Physio and Patho, I can say that overall, he is a great professor. His humorous stories and teaching methods help digest huge amounts of material. Tests can be hard at times, but doable. He can come off a bit condescending and petty. Sometimes he teaches info. that is blatantly incorrect. But for the most part, he's great
