Very good teacher. As long as you attend class and take some notes, tests are fairly simple. All mutiple choice tests, unless you do a makeup exam. Dr. Tague is always a very cheerful, energizing teacher. He loves his work and it shows. I HIGHLY recommend this teacher.

Very good teacher, very animated and loves his subject, but a rather closed-minded scientist. Does not appreciate nor encourage individual thinking or interpretation of the evidence if it is out of the box. Easy tests, you can pass them without studying or attending classes period. Highly biased book, expensive, a lot of useless verbiage.

No homework or mandatory attendance. Three non-cumulative exams that are weighted by the strength of your scores. Dr. Tague is so wholesome and the lectures are enjoyable. It's obvious that he is very passionate about what he does.

Dr. Tague taught this class really well. We got to hold remains and he always asked us individually if we understood everything that was taught that day. He is really accommodating and super nice! He is a sweet soul

He's an amazing professor who's very passionate about his job. I took this as an elective class but it was easily the most interesting. I would say attending the class is extremely helpful because the test is mostly based off of lectures. I do not regret taking this class at all.

Dr. Tague is an amazing professor! If you go to classes regularly and rarely miss classes, it is hard to not get an A. He is very clear about what will be on exams and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has time to copy down notes in class. He is so sweet and you can tell how much he cares about teaching. One of the best classes I've taken

Dr. Tague is such a caring and kind professor! Grades are 3 exams, your best exam weighted highest and your worst weighted lowest as well as an optional research paper. Very understanding if you are sick or have problems. He personally talked to everyone at the end of the semester to thank them for taking the class. Wonderful guy!

I took a freshman introductory course with Dr. Tague and I enjoyed it a lot, so I took his ANTH 4040 as a junior. He is an intelligent and caring man and gives great lectures. ANTH 4040 is both a graduate and undergraduate discussion-based class so the material is challenging. If you are able to put in time and effort, you will do well.

He is a great professor, but this class has been the most stressful class I've taken. I have been to every class this semester and I have had the hardest time understanding his terms when explaining. Lectures are difficult to understand once he uses unnecessary terminology. I took this as an elective thinking it would be something less stressful.

He's such a nice guy and thanked everyone who stuck around at the end of class. Somehow, he remembers me just because I kept going to class, but I never spoke or asked questions. Anyhow, he's genuinely caring. As for exams, I studied Quizlets and read through my personal notes. He does go on tangents, but just focus on the words on the board.

Bob is super sweet, and caring for his students, but his class set up is really hard to follow. I regularly attended class and took notes and still really struggled with the tests, the final was truly scary. The terms and material is all very similar in verbiage and his slides could include whole paragraphs of texts.

Tague is a great professor! He is the absolute sweetest human being and is so happy to teach and talk to students. His lectures are straightforward and he tells us exactly what will be and not be on the test by color-coding his notes for us. Go to class. He only posts slides right before the test. No homework, only 3 tests.
