Professor Vitt is really passionate about the subject. I enjoyed the class, he is very clear, and engaging. The class is easy as long as you read, do the assigned work (which is not much) and participate. The class really feels like a college level course with open discussion, Prof Vitt is truly an asset to the school.

Professor Vitt is one of the best professors I have ever had. He makes the material easy to understand and keeps lectures interesting. He gives great examples and is very helpful to his students. He gave almost no homework and assigned 2 simple essays. I would definitely take another one of his classes!

He's the best teacher I've ever had! He makes things really interesting so you want to pay attention. Gives you exactly what he wants back, basically handing you all the answers. He uploads videos before the tests and gives you the test questions. Definitely taking one of his classes again.

I enjoyed this class! I had a lot of hw because it was 5 week class. Hhw and quizzes are easy if you read the book. I had only one essay out of two outlines. I had an opportunity for extra credit. I have to tell "big foot exists"!

He once said that if he won the lottery, he would continue to teach because he loves it so much. All homework was packets that you turn in online and open book tests online as well. You can't go wrong with Vitt.

I took Prof. Vitt in the Spring and he was freaken awesome but beware the 1st half of the semester you are going to hate it but later on the more easier it gets. Get ready for his interesting stories.

Enthusiastic and nice guy. Read the book- its actually pretty interesting and you will need it for the tests and upcoming assignments. overall, its an easyinteresting and i suggest taking it when you have a whole bunch of difficult classes. He quickly responds to emails within 1-2 hours if you email him during the day.

Professor Vitt's class has been my favorite at Long Beach so far. He's not boring and he makes you want to come to class because he prepares really fun lectures and activities and the time flies by. He's also very funny and seems to actually like his students.

He's the most genuine professor! Although logic (philosophy 1) is not the most interesting subject to some, Professor Vitt keeps it entertaining! And if you pay attention in class, it will be a breeze. He also post SUPER helpful videos on YouTube before exams basically giving away the answers.

Professor Vitt is awesome! He is super hilarious and inspirational, he makes sure that every single student in his class understands the material before he moves on. He makes mock exams and videos before the exam date and pretty much 80% of the questions are going to be on the exam which he also gives the answers to. I would highly recommend him!!

I have to say I really loved this class! Professor Vitt was always very clear on what he wanted and expected. Expect to do a lot of reading because although he does provide a video lecture for each chapter you still need to read in order to pass the quizzes. There will be one essay 3-5 pages and a presentation for the final.

You will not regret taking Professor Vitt, he is an person. His class was simple, all you have to do is follow what he teaches and you will basically get an A. The only reason why I say that it is mandatory to come to his class is because he always make learning interesting. He relates a lot of experiences with his students which makes us learn.

I was a little nervous about this class but it ended up being a lot of fun. Vitt is an easy grader and comes up with great assignments. His lectures are on YouTube, but you do need to read the book to get a good grade on the quizzes. The quizzes can be a little tricky, so look over your answers before submitting them. Fun teacher and class!

Professor Vitt's class was by far one of my favorite classes I have taken at LBCC. He is an amazing professor and you can tell he loves what he does and truly cares for his students. Online class & uses LMS website. Such a great teacher! You can tell he loves what he does. Our readings are very interesting. Clear grading: 7 exams (read a chapter take the test), 1 paper (midterm), & one power point presentation (very fun). Easiest class I've taken; there's no way you can fail. So glad I took this class! I was scared to take a class at 8 AM for such a dry subject but he's energetic, organized, interesting and funny. I really enjoyed this class and would definitely take him again. He didn't use the textbook much but it didn't really feel like we missed anything.

He's seems to truly care about the success of his students. There wasn't much homework, but there were several in class assignments, so good attendance helps. Prof. Vitt tries to make class as fun and interesting as he can, and he does a great job of doing it. This was one of my favorite classes and I would highly recommend him!!!!!!!!!

easiest class ever, all lectures were on youtube, but gives many retakes on the tests. I only missed one question on the last test with out even watching the video very interesting class though. only one paper, and a few multiple choice tests, and a power point project at the end of the year. (i did mine in less than 2 hours and got a 100)

I've taken quite a few online classes and Professor Vitt's class is one of my favorites! He does his lectures through youtube videos. There's about one video for each section and they last an hour. You can tell that he really likes what he does and cares for his students. There's one paper and presentation but nothing difficult. Easy tests too!

This was my second class with Prof. Vitt, He is super knowledgeable and inspiring, he loves to teach and it shows. He respects all of his students and makes an effort to create a class environment where everyone can learn, grow, and be heard. Existentialism is such a fascinating subject and he really presents a fair and fascinating survey of it.

Professor Vitt is the BOMB! Super cool, relaxed dude, took his online class. Lecture heavy, but you are just reviewing his lecture videos, definitely a few laughs in there. Provides you with lecture notes, points mostly based off chapter quizzes and a couple of easy projects. Multiple weeks to complete each chapter and fun quizzes for each.

Took this online class over summer. He posts lectures that are VERY long, but don't worry you don't even need to listen to most of them because he posts his lecture notes online. The class is all quizzes/tests with 1 paper, and 1 powerpoint. Use CTRL +F to look up answers to the quizzes in his lecture notes!!!! Very easy class with a light workload

Professor Vitt was amazing! I took his class online in the summer. He makes it very easy to follow his online course. He allows retakes on quizzes and you are allowed to use the notes for the quizzes. You really have no reason to fail. Also he is always willing to answer any questions immediately!

Professor Vitt brought such a wholesome attitude to Existentialism, which can be kind of a cynical subject. His lectures are fantastic, I thought I knew a lot about Nietzche before, but I was missing some important basics. The lectures on Kirkegaard were the highlight of my semester!

Make sure to complete ALL quizzes at the end of each week! they are fairly easy. theres one course paper, and One power point presentation, 100 points each, also very easy!

I took Professor Vitt for the Introduction to Philosophy online for spring 2020. He makes the modules really easy to follow. He's there if you have any questions. The textbook he supplies you with comes in handy but it's not used for the class. The lectures are what you need to follow. As long as you do the work. You'll pass the class!

Professor Vitt is by far the best professor I have taken. He explains the material very clearly and genuinly and his passion for the field is contagious. Small quizzes that are easy A. Weekly discussion board with 2 papers that you can write as many times as you want to get the grade you want. Material points you in direction to do own research.

Professor Vitt's Philosophy 11 class was EASY, fun, and educational. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his class. The quizzes are super easy because we are allowed to read his notes during the quiz. The discussions are fun and easy. There is one final powerpoint presentation that you create and a short midterm paper that are both easy. AWESOME CLASS! :)

Professor Vitt is hands down my favorite professor at LBCC. If you need to take critical thinking take his class! He makes it so much fun and interesting. He is so passionate and is super funny. My only regret about the class was I took it in winter. I wish I would have taken it in fall or spring because it was so much fun.

My only regret is not taking this professor when schools were still open. Prof Vitt is so funny and easily understandable. All lectures for this past Winter were YouTube video lectures he uploaded years ago and they were easy to understand. The workload is easily paced and grading is fair. The assigned work for the class is very organized and detailed. The only way you would fail is if you do not do the work. It is vital that you listen to the video lectures and read through the notes. Alongside video lectures, he also records himself explaining the instructions for assignments if it was not clear on the module summary. Easy credit.

Professor Vitt is amazing! He is such a funny and caring teacher. I have taken multiple classes with him and loved every single one. Some philosophy content can be confusing, but he makes it relevant and interesting. You will never get bored during his lectures and most of the time he will send out the PowerPoints he uses.

My only regret is not taking this class in person. Since we had no meetings, all of his lectures were recorded beforehand, but even then he is hilarious and makes this class interesting. Some concepts may be hard to grasp so it helps to communicate with him. Would definitely take it again!

Great lectures about critical thinking, about 7 quizzes but werent super difficult, 1 slide show and 1 essay about a conspiracy theory. Also hilarious. Pay attention to his video lectures because the questions will appear in the quizzes.

I highly recommend this class with this professor. Very responsive, information clear and concise while also having fun. I am not sure if he still is backing the philosophy club but I admire that. The information was also eye opening that I took outside of class although it was just for GE credit.

I just took Professor Vitt's Philosophy, Critical Thinking class as a Winter class. He was wonderful. The lectures in this class were absolutely awesome! Taking this class made me appreciate how different views and bias' affect more serious subjects in today's world. After taking a deeper look into these controversial topics, I feel that I have a better understanding of how my personal opinion can affect the way I see things around me.

What else is there to say about Professor Vitt except that he is an extraordinary lecturer that will keep you captivated and (and chuckling at certain points) with his unique approach to the subject material. The only critique I have is that perhaps his courses are a bit too easy, but highly recommend for his enthusiasm and knowledge of philosophy.

Nice and funny. For online, lots of hw but fairly easy & short. First paper, you work on throughout the course and by the end just put it together from those previous assignments. Understands test anxiety and adds quirky questions to laugh at. Unit exam super easy, just all previous quizzes in one big exam.

He is fantastic; the work isn't so much, yet it's short and brief enough to understand the concept presented in the course. He is very quirky in that he would brighten your day with funny answers in quizzes, but I think that also helps steer you in the right direction.

Watch the lectures, and keep up pace with the assignments if you are online. He isn't too strict and gives good outlines and rubrics, especially for the final paper. I never met him but you can tell how kind he is through his video lectures and emails.

Five-week summer course provided great lecture videos! I wish I had taken Professor Vitt in person, as he seems like a great professor who would provide a great experience with the subject. Although the coursework was loaded in the first weeks, it became manageable toward the end. His class isn't meant to trick you; he wants to help you pass.

Easiest class I've ever taken. Took the class online for 8 weeks and honestly it was the easiest class I've ever taken. quizzes are easy if you watch the lectures and papers are not hard at all he helps guide you through them if you pay attention.

Eight-week course, LOTS of homework with assignments of 12+ each week. However, he is an easy grader and will except late work. Quizzes are easy and so are assignments, the final is also a consistency of what was taken throughout the course. There are two papers, but they are managable.
