GREAT CLASS, VERY INTERESTING AND FUN. LEARNED A LOT

He makes the class very interesting and he is easy to take. Please note that he sense of humor is off but that is the purpose of the class.

He's a GREAT teacher. However, his jokes aren't always the best but we all work with what we have. I learned alot and plan on taking more from Prof. R. Wawee.

Took in summer -- went by fast. Hard but fair. a lot of writing. Really used the google it tool for clarity but class discussions helped a lot too. I think once I figured out his "style" the class was fine. I was concerned at first.

He's a great teacher but does assign a lot of essays, if you hate to write papers this is not the class for you. It can get hard and confusing buthe is always willing to work with you. Even though exams are open notes they are still hard.

This is a course that you must be ready for. Opens your eyes to a great amount of concepts/theories.

At first I was totally rubbed the wrong way, but as class continued I started to see a different approach in his teaching style. I would recommend this professor to others, but I would caution anyone to watch their opinions. They may be wrong!

I was very intimitaded by him on the first day of class. Overall, the class was interesting. He is very helpful and is a very good teacher. Make sure you do all of the assignment that is given out to you and you will do just fine.

This class was so wonderful. I have never learned so much in one class. This class taught me more about myself than any other class ever has. I am not saying Wawee is easy. He expects a lot from you but I got an A in argumentation and debate.

I love this teacher! he makes yuu see the other side on what comm realy is! at first u might think he is mean and demands alot,but not at all. Easy homowork and beyond a exelent teacher!!

Professor Wawee's class is what you as a student make it. I enjoyed his class but in order to make a good grade you must be willing to write essays and study for test. He has a nice sense of humor which helps to make his lectures interesting.

Very interesting and laid back. His opinion is the only opinion but as long as you remember that you'll be fine.

PROF WAWEE IS A VERY GOOD TEACHER. HE IS VERY DIRECT AND TO THE POINT ABT WHAT HE WANTS AND IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO FOLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS TO THE T. HE LIKES TO JOKE AND ACT SILLY SO IF YOU DEAL WITH THAT WELL YOU WILL SEE HE'S 1 OF THE BEST TO TAKE FOR YOUR COMM REQUIREMENTS.

I was thoroughly impressed with this professor and, in fact, am taking another class from him this summer. I believe I truly learned a great deal from this professor and I plan on taking as many Communications courses from him as possible. He is helpful, honest, knowledgable, respectful and an awesome sense of humor!

he's a good teacher. easy A if you do all your work on time and study for the test. we only had to do one speech so that was good. he knows his material and knows how to apply it to the real world. his classes were never really boring.

i guess it was me but i really disliked this teacher. he superimposed his one mineded conservative views on his students and demanded they accept his views.he was extremely self indulged and felt that the amount of money one spent on materlistic items measures how much a man was worth. also his assignments we corny and graded unfairy

Great Teacher!! Easy to get along with, funny, and very helpful, he is AWESOME!!!

The subject matter in Comm. Theory isn't easy, but Professor Bob explains it rather well. If you do all the busy work and actually put effort into your papers, he'll reward you for it. He's funny and cares about his students a lot more than he lets on! I suggest taking him. Go Prof. Bob!!!!

Be prepared to allow time to copmplete twenty-pages or more of chapter outlines and two-speeches. He test are trickly. Remember to leave your opinions at the door. All and all, you will need to work a bit to obtain an A in his class. Some students may get intimidated by his style and outlook, but if you apply yourself it all works out.

He's my favorite professor hands down. He teaches 5 different communication classes. Definately take him if you are a Comm Major. Even if the work he gives seems hard, you will learn alot of valuable information that you can use in your own life. He makes students want to learn. I took 2 of his classes and got A's in both.

Prof. Bob is as great of a person as he is a professor. I have learned a lot of information which I have actually retained and used in my life. He is extremely fair in grading and has realistic expectations for the many of us who have jobs, kids, and a life! One reason I say, "well I guess UHD isn't THAT bad!"

Prof Bob is the best professor I have ever had! He really makes you think. If you are a Comm major, he is a must to take. He will scare you the first day by saying that you will be "confused" the entire semester, but do not take him seriously. He grades fairly and wants everyone to understand and learn as much as they can. Great teacher!!!!

Prof Bob is a wonderful man! He goes beyond the course matter and discusses things that are enlightening for REAL life. He's totally understanding that we all have jobs, kids, lives! He treats people like people not just students, even though he really is a million times more intelligent than us. Linda rocks too!

He is very clear when it comes to preaching about his personal religious and political views of the world. His sarcasm was totally out of place and his grading system arbitrary! Get your money's worth. Take someone else!

good professor. he was open to discussion, passionate about class and teaching, which is a great quality. Not the easiest of courses, but enjoyable and learned A LOT!!

Held my interest for the entire semester. Must read the text but can use notes for exams. Grades written homework fairly. Test are straight forward. Excellent Teacher.

Prof. Wawee is a wonderful teacher. He not only knows his material, he lives it. I took him SUMM I, 2 regular exams 1 final and 3 papers due at end of semester. Gives you plenty of time to do all work. No homework. We studied from review sheet and he gave us the lecutre notes. I made an "A". I loved his class and will take him again.

This class is TOUGH! You have to do the work, but it is worth it in the end. The debate is actually fun! You won't make less than a B on your debate.

The worst professor I have had at UHD. He thinks nothing of busting his ego at students expense. A student asked him a simple question and Mr. Wawee blew off on her face. I do not recommend him.

Professor Wawee was hands down the most influential in my college career. He is also a priest, although very down to earth, and has many real and interesting topics to share. I would recommend him to anyone. If I wasn't graduating in May, I would take everything else he teaches!!!

I took him during the Summer, easy A as long as you do the work. He's a very laid back, enthusiastic and an exciting instructor.

Dr. W. is great. He's excited about the material, he is knows his stuff, and he engages you in the topics. Exams are a little difficult, and you have to be careful to listen to HIS definition of terms because they don't necessarily match what you think they mean. Feel free to argue your point but don't expect him to agree or give in . VERY FAIR

Bob Wawee is GREAT, the entire class loved him... very easy to understand, makes the subject easy to understand and very open and honest with his students... all the assingments are easy and there are writing assignments, but GREAT ones. I highly rec that you take him... I had a great summer with him.

The most interesting class I've had yet. He is straight forward and understanding. I'd love to take him for more classes...

Wawee grades on merit which means if he dosent know you and you fail his test but pass everything else you will get a C and ofcourse you dont deserve a C never aging will I take a class from him

I thought this teacher was great. I was not interested in this course but I had fun in his class. I was busy planning my wedding and he knew that. I did my best and he passed me.

Took this class Spr'12 and got an "A!" If u read and interact n class & w the professor U WILL get a good grade. Met some awesome people, too!!! He's knows his stuff...he has great analogies that relate to the course. Took similar class at UH-Main and didnt learn CRAP!!! Loved this class...learned a lot about self/others...take this class!:) S.y.C

Professor Wawee stepped into our classroom halfway through the semester to fill in for another instructor that could no longer be with us. His level of flexibility while providing a thought provoking curriculum was among the best! I would highly recommend Prof. Wawee to any student, just be prepared to think a little outside the box.

HE IS VERY EASY, VERY HELPFUL, VERY SIMPLE, GRADES REALLY EASY AND HE IS CLASS IS VERY FUN!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!

He is an awesome professor. He tells it like it is without being too politically correct. Just do what you are supposed to,PARTICIPATE IN CLASS, study and you should get an A. He loves students that participate in class, learn the material and shows interest. That is how you get on his good side.

Great teacher. Very informative, easy course. If you enjoy learning about diversity then you will enjoy this class. He is very helpful and will work with you if you are having any type of issue. The workload is very manageable too! Test are 80+ questions but are super easy. Group work can be a little annoying.

Despite some of the negative comments, my experience with Professor Wawee was pleasant. Theory is not the easiest of classes, especially during May term, but he was clear on expectations and quick with responses. If you are willing to do the work, you'll get the grade. Simple! I earned an A; therefore, it's obtainable.

Dr. Wawee is a really good prof. He is not going to GIVE YOU A GRADE IF YOU DO NOT DESERVE IT. I took him in COMM 3330 and COMM 3320. My grades weren't super high but I didn't really study as much as I should have. Give him a try #toughbutunderstandablegrader #lovestoteach

Hey is an amazing teacher!! Don't be intimidated by first impressions, he is a very funny and insightful teacher. You will have to work for your grade and read! There is a group debate, midterm and final (easy)! The information that is learned in this class will be used in daily lives, TRUST ME!!

As long as you participate in class, and complete the assignments, you should pass. I received a "B" in his class. I was late on a speech and pissed him off by not coming to class.

Easy course

Professor Wawee made this speech class mean something to me. He took the material and related it to each student. He is really passionate about his work and is a great professor. His tests are difficult but if you read you will do fine. His speeches are easy but can be difficult if you have trouble speaking. Be prepared to be a better speaker.

He has been one of my favorite professors so far! He truly has a gift for teaching and wants his students to be successful. Only 2 test in the course a couple of reading assignments and a interview project. I would recommend him.

Mr. Wawee is super funny! He will make you talk as in Begining to public speaking requires you to do 3 speeches and a group speech plus a few random speeches. He's very funny and willing to help you if you seek it. He teaches you how to speak correctly and shows criticism but for your own good. Totally recommend

Professor Wawee is really a great professor. He is not mean like some of the comments on this website say. You can get along with him just fine and he really does respond quickly with emails students send to him. You will really enjoy this class. Don't listen to negative or moderate comments about this professor.

Dr. Wawee was easier than he seemed. All you had to do was participate and turn in work to pass.

You really need to work for your grade. There were many assignments but if you pay attention it should be easy. He is kind and willing to help you.

Thoroughly ejoyed this class and Prof Wawee. He's very fair, gives great feedback and I would take any class he teaches without thinking twice.
