A good teacher who is also alot of fun. You will definitely enjoy his class and learn alot in the process. However, you must do the work to keep up because the material is demanding.

He was a very good professor. Extremely understanding and helpful. Even if you don't completely know what your doing, he will work with you, and tries to give you a decent grade. If you pay attention and do the work to the best of your ability, he will not let you fail. Take all your Accounting classes with him.

He is probably one of the most difficult teachers ive ever had, but very funny and fair. The test are difficult. And a word to the wise, dont ever talk about the Yankees. Also it would be helpful if you wore a costume on the day of the test, i sure am regretting this. overall excellent professor, take him if you want to learn....

This is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken, and I can honestly say I have never worked harder for a grade. But this professor is just amazing, and really inspires you to want to do the work. If you are an accounting major, he is a MUST to have, he will really make you love accounting!

This class was one of my easiest class. YES, the material gets harder and harder with each test, and by the time the final is here, you just want to cry. BUT he's willing to work things through with you. Goes through everything you don't understand. I had fun and learned a lot. I can honestly brag that I got the HIGHEST grade in my class.^_^

I graduated from a 4 year school and Weinstein is the best professor I have ever had. He wants you to do good and will go out of his way to help you out. If you like math definitely take the class with him. The material is difficult but as long as you study what you do in class you should ace the exams. NO homework ever!!!!

I took Professor Weinstein back in 1991 through 1993. The best professor I ever had. I got into Penn, an Ivy League school because of him. His teaching style is unbelievable and he will get you to love accounting.

Great professor, pretty funny, class goes fast, he talks about how much this study will make money and it will. I love him as a professor, definitely my favorite. He looks to see all his students do well and become successful in life. He wants to see that you work your butt off and that will determine your grade.

I took Professor Weinstein this semester; while he is a good professor and a nice guy, you have to be willing to work in order to do well in his class. If you are looking to slack off do not take his course because chances are you will fail.

IMO, between him and his son, they are the best accounting teachers in SCCC. He's very friendly and a very generous grader with lots of extra credit given. You still have to work hard if you want a great grade. The only drawback is that he doesnt use Excel which is important

He was one of my best professors besides Pace. He would always tell us funny stories about his family. He didn't care if you didn't show up for the lecture just as long as you showed up for the tests he would pass you. He did use the textbook but it didn't have to be the one from school it could be from an older edition.

you really need to show up to class on time otherwise you're going to fail. he's a great teacher, but you really need to pay attention and don't be afraid to ask questions. he will answer them without a problem. also, if you wear giants, yankees, or rangers gear, he will rip on you. but he's very funny and will keep you engaged.

The most amazing professor I have taken by far at Suffolk County Community College. He is a great professor that cares and shows interest in his students. The A is NOT given! YOU MUST WORK HARD FOR IT!!! If you show that you are working and show interest he will take notice, and that's the routine! Best professor in my opinion. MUST TAKE HIM!

Absolutely loved Professor Weinstein! He makes the class fun and actually cares for his students. Don't come in thinking it's an easy class; you definitely need to do the work and put in the effort. Definitely need the textbook. Grade based on his tests, doesn't give any homework. If you need to take an accounting class, take this guy!

Weinstein is an AWESOME professor. I'm taking him next semester for ACC102. Definitly a guy who is passionate about teaching. Knew everyone's name at the end of week one. Genuine guy, if you fail it is your own fault. Study wekly and read chapters before coming to class and you're guaranteed an A. Love this guy man, truly one of my favorites.

This guy is hands down the greatest professor Suffolk has to offer. He teaches you more than just the material. Weinstein teaches you how things are done in the real world and is very inspiring. He makes the whole school worth it. I hope he is still around teaching when I have kids... seriously.

Honestly Weisten is awesome. I had him for 201 and he thought me so much I don't even think he realize it he really helped me become a better student. I passed the class, YOU MUST STUDY. I didn't study for my first exam and I didn't pass. When I started studying I started passing. I had him from acc101 all the way to acc201 because he's that good.

Professor Bob is one of the best professors on campus. He teaches well and really and truly cares about his students. He wants nothing but the best for all of us. He also grades very fairly. Work really hard, especially for Intermediate Accounting, it is really hard!! Weinstein is the best!

Professor Weinstein is one of the best professors at Suffolk. He makes you work really hard for your grade (especially in ACC201). His lectures are engaging and fun and he's always available for questions. Be really thorough when you study. If you're an accounting major there isn't anyone else I would recommend for ACC101/102 and ACC201.

Professor Weinstein is hands down one of the best professors at SCCC. He cares about all his students. He's a fair grader and he considers all the effort you put into the class. As awesome as he is, don't expect his classes to be easy. Study and ask questions. But if you need to take an accounting class, take Weinstein!

Weinstein is the absolute best professor I have ever had. I was unsure of accounting, but once I took his courses there was no way I couldn't. He ACTUALLY prepared us for the real world, cuts out all of the nonsense & has outstanding lectures. Weinstein knows what is important & makes sure we really know the material. So genuine. MUST TAKE !!

I have taken Weinstein for 101,102,218 and will be for 201. I have learned so much about tax from this professor. Absolute best teacher I have ever had. If you actually want to learn, take Professor Weinstein. He knows what he is talking about and is so hilarious. I have gotten so many life lessons from this man. Loved every single class with him!!

This is my 3rd time taking professor Weinstein, and I'll be taking him for a 4th and final time next semester. This class is NOT easy at all. Study about 50 hours for your first test and 30-50 for the following two. Homework is literally like 2-5 hours every weekend. It's a brutal class but you learn so much it's worth the headache. STUDY.

Professor Weinstein truly cares about each of his students individual success. He is a very easy grader and attendance is not mandatory although not attending class would cause you to fall behind quickly. He teaches accounting in a way that really makes you understand it well and he works with you one on one whenever you are having a tough time.

He also will pick on you if you wear Yankees/Ranger attire in his class! He also tells you to become an account at least 10 times a class.

Weinstein is a great professor. Talks about being an accountant ALOT!! Which he is right if you are willing to work its worth it. Some test questions are different then the ones you practice. Overall pretty alright class, you need to study but accounting is hard and if you cant make it with Weinstein or Pace chances are you shouldnt do it.

Professor Weinstein is great. If I am going to be honest though, his online class is very lack-luster and way more challenging compare to person. He has a date set for his class but oddly there is no zoom meetings it's only lecture write ups. I feel he is way better in person, though he was super kind and an email away. VERY understanding! online class was great never saw him but came across as a cool dude via email. no mid-term / final. access code not needed for textbook. class consisted of a chapter outline with an assignment due every 2 weeks. very straight forward. he will let u know abt errors on ur assignments and will let u resubmit. doesn't use blackboard.

class consisted of bi-weekly assignments. he's a very nice guy and replies to emails quickly. The work was more challenging than the examples in the textbook. it really forces you to understand accounting
