This is the best math teacher at QCC, he is very funny and teaches at a good pace so that you get everything, spends a lot of time teaching you exactly how to do things if you don't understand. Is always available for extra help and just a great man in general to even talk to. I would take a class with him again if i wasn't finished all my maths

I'm a math phobic and this guy was a dream! I worked hard and took this course becauseI wanted to see a visual end to all the math that I had taken thus far.He intuitively understands that most students have this phobia and he tries to release the pressure in the environment so that you can really learn. I wish that all math teachers were like him.

great teacher ever got an A on his class if you thinking that math is so hard, take him he helps you and give you easy quizes if you dont know the problem, he lets you take the exam or quiz home, so them when you return you have an A, he doesnt want you to fail his class. I took him 2. great teacher!!!

i had him for a fast track professor for precalc and this guy very leanient and laid back!he will help you throughout the 5 classes that we met during this fast track! no quiz,test,finals. ony graded homework which are so easy! some dumbass kid was complaining that he wasn't giving any test and everyone was thinking the kid was an idiot.

this is a fast track class and this is the best instructor that i have had for precalc 123. i agree with the person below-no test,no final,graded homework.funny guy! very helpful,very lenient!take this guy if you want to pass! very highly recommended!and that dumbass kid who wanted the quiz did a wrong problem on 1 of the graded assigned homework.

Good teacher, Fun guy, and he actully cares. It was a summer class, so a little difficult to pay attention, but he worked through it. Just pay attention and make sure you do your HW even if its not required. The tests are simple if you have been paying attention. All in all fun, solid class, and i actully learned things! i got a B.

He's a doll. Just a doll. I still remember the problems that I worked on at home from his Pre-Calc class and I'm graduating UMASS Amherst this semester. I wish more teachers would teach math this way.If learning is really the goal then his method works well at least with us phobics.

Bob does not always come off the clearest, but he never hesitates to go over ANYTHING until it is understood even if it take half of the class. Phenomenal teacher!

AMAZING MATH TEACHER!! Take him if you want to learn!! Seriously I am awful at math but he teaches it in a way that is easy to understand. He never makes anyone feel stupid and he will go over the material until everyone understands it. He is always making jokes too. This is my favorite math class I have ever taken :)

He is one of the best teachers i've had while being at QCC. He is very helpful and will do anything to help his students understand what we're learning. I loved being in his class, he always kept it lively. There was never a dull moment

Mr. Yosca is the best math teacher I've ever had in my life! He actually makes sure you understand what you are doing. He does "water down" the class a bit, but he's only trying to help those who are not very good at math. He is an honest and funny guy, his class is fun. I am taking him again next semester.

By far the best math teacher i have ver had my entire life. I couldnt believe was understand math!!!! I always hated math but he managed to make it good and i passed!! Its hard to get into any of his classes they are always full lol

Great professor. Take him for as much math classes as possible. You have to sign up early to get him because his classes fill up quickly. This was the only math class that i liked going to, very funny and helps you understand everything.

This Professor is by far the BEST math Professor I've personally ever had. I HIGHLY suggest taking Math 099 with this man! He fully prepares you for the final and Math 100, telling jokes along the way and being as helpful as possible for you to pass his class with flying colors. A wonderful human being!

This guy knows his stuff. This is the 4th time I've tried to take this class (from other professors/colleges) and the first time I actually understood the information. The only negative I can say would be "squirrel"

If you need to take a math, take it with him. He is smart, funny, and knows how to teach. He makes sure everyone in the class understands what he is covering before moving on. The only math classes I have ever enjoyed were taught by him.

BEST MATH TEACHER EVER!!! I wish I had him all throughout my school years. Great Guy! Class wasnt mandatory but I would not miss it. You really get your money worth. He is an example of how every professor should conduct their class. I would take him over and over if I could. He cares about his students and puts in more effort than required.

Tries to be funny even though he isn't. It will give you a good laugh. As long as you are personable, make a few jokes and understands the concepts; all you will have to do is pass a midterm and final for an A.

Bob, is one of the best professors here at QCC. I'd dead serious when I say this as a person who hates math, he made it fun. Along with this he moves at the pace of the class, not the outlined syllabus, and actually wants you to learn. I took him for MAT 100, however I'm taking pre-calc and he still helps me out.

Fab Professor! instruction is clear. He infuses humor in his teaching which helps a lot in this type of class.

OMG! i LOVE Mr Yosca so much, he is so so helpful, he takes his time to help everyone, i hate math so much but he made it so easy for me, i wish other professors were like him because he truly care about his students. Make sure you do the work he assigns, to obv know whats going on and ask questions, thanks to him i was able to pass the final test!

One of the best professor in QCC, was a pleasure attending his class. I started out poor in Math, but by taking this class with him. I learned that there is nothing to it.

Best teacher you can ever have if you struggle with math and want to pass the class. He's a caring, and carefree guy that'll teach you what you need to know and guarantees you'll pass the class. TAKE HIM, WORTH THE MONEY. Also, the textbook isn't needed, he makes up problems of his own and gives you those problems for homework.

Stats is not a subject I was able to pass nor understand the first time taking it. I was told by another student to take Stats with. Professor Yosca and you will get a better understanding. Im so glad I did take this with him, made sure that ever one of his students had a clear understanding of each section before moving on.

This man is the only reason I stayed at Quinsig, he actually makes learning fun and interesting. I actually looked forward to his class. Absolutely love this man.

Amazing Professor

What can I say about Professor Yosca? He's a genius, very flexible, he embraces and really care about his students. I cant learn math, i completely hate, but somehow, he made a math class fun and easy to understand, the entire class loved him! I'll definitely recommend him! Thumbs up! 5 stars teacher!

One of the best teachers I've ever had in my entire school career truly cares about his students. Though he does get off topic he does such an amazing job at teaching you the criteria. If he misses something or doesn't teach you enough of something he may even just take it off a test or quiz. Gives very clear hints as to what will be on the final.

One of the funniest teachers I have ever had. He is very engaging and made math fun and easy. The only negative was he forgot to enter some of my grades into the grading system and it affected my grade.

If math isn't your strong subject this teacher will work closely and slowly with you. I hate math but I liked it because of him, it wasn't a struggle. Hope to find him teaching for my next math requirement!

One of the best professors out there! A truly hilarious guy that makes you want to learn whether if math is not your strong suit or you dislike the subject in general. He cares about your questions and wants you to pass. He notifies you with plenty of time if there is going to be a quiz. The homework load is moderate, definitely nothing crazy.

Might be a little tough if you don't like math because a lot of the material he covers he simplifies, and using a textbook is like reading another language, but you can figure it out if you put effort in. He's super funny, tells long tangential stories - in a math class, everyone is going to be bored, but he finds a way to make it fun.

The best teacher he makes you happy all the time

Great teacher. Will be taking another class with him in the spring. Makes sure everyone understands topics. If you cant do an assignment he will extend the due date for you and everyone else. Makes sure even in the middle of class if you are struggling he explains everything for you. Not a lot of class work or homework. 1-3 assignments a week.

Yosca's a good guy. Watch videos before lectures and it's great reinforcement- it's a little confusing if you go to lecture first. Grandpa type who calls everyone sweetheart (in case you're easily offended ). The only problem is grades are based almost completely on the final, so its easy to have a gap in knowledge you don't notice until then.

Coming from someone who failed math twice in high school and retook algebra 1 and 2 and passed with Cs for both classes and I come here to this college, take this professor, and I did much better at math here than I did in high school. Hes a great professor and hes helped me understand math better and taught me things I never knew. Cool dude too.

Professor Yosca is awesome. You don't even need to show up to his online classes if you know how to do the work. And if you struggle, his lectures are pretty funny and fun to listen to. He gets students involved. Also, all of his tests and homework on Mathlabs is redo-able if you mess up. No excuse not to get an A in here.

Great Professor, he chooses only the easiest examples out of the textbook. Has creative methods of solving problems. He has a sense of humor during his lectures. His (Mid and final Exams) are composed of few questions.

This dude, is one of my favorite professors I've had. That's coming from someone who hates math. pros: funny, not judgemental at all, understands students' stress, made work due at the end of the semester, genuinely wants the best for all students, and the final had extra time. cons: rambles a lot (antivaxx), and not as accessible out of class.

Extremely funny and charismatic, makes every class fun to watch and dont just talk about the content. understand student's struggle and dont waste time with useless stuff. maybe the only con is that he raambles a lot but it just makes classes easier and more fun.

Bobby provided the single best part of my education at QCC. He should really look into stand up comedy; he'd be incredible.

Knows everything front and back. Very light homework load and willing to help on any assignment. A bit scattered with lectures, but super kind and funny and quite engaging and always makes exams the same thing taught in class.

If I could say anything about this professor is that he will make sure you have a good time while still learning and retaining all of the information. He is kind and enjoys teaching. Anyone who gets him as a professor will learn a lot but will have to deal with him talking about his life along with a lot of references from different movies.

Prof Yosca is the easiest professor in the BUILDING. Super duper flexible. Graded take home quizzes. He's super funny too and kind.

Professor Yosca keeps things fun and engaging, even for a math course. Textbook is optional but the lectures are worth attending. unstuck ai was a lifesaver for practice problems. Overall, not too difficult if you put in the effort.

He's incredibly laid back and cracks more jokes than math problems. Super easy class, but you do have to practice a bit on your own time if you don't know it if you wanna do good. Outside of the final, he gave 4 graded homeworks and thats it; no tests or quizzes
