Professor Z is a wonderful instructor, and willing to help anyway possible if he can. But the best quality about him is he acts as a person, not as someone better than his students. If at all possible, take every course he is instructing/teaching.

The information isn't hard to begin with... but he makes it easy with everything he does. By far the best teacher i have ever had. Easy to talk to in and out of class. Could be the best teacher on campus.

Comment below is completely off base. Z did not "push" anybody along, in my opinion. In fact, he frequently gave long-term applications of concepts taught. As for having too much fun . . . give me a break . . .

Dr Z is the man; what a great prof. Take him if you can; he is always ready to help a student out. Pretty easy quizzes/exams and his HW is really easy. Great notes/lectures, and always give plenty of time for exams.

GREAT teacher!!! knows what he's doing, and gives the book definitions then his definitions then examples! bring your notes to the tests! he's such an awesome professor and you actually learn things in his class, plus its easy!

Dr. Z was the man! I wish he was teaching Math 22 cuz he's such a great prof. In 021 we didn't need to have the book. Goes through every thing you need to know by giving notes with "dumbed-down" explanations and lots of examples. Easy class, plus he's a cool guy. I Learned alot.

Dr. Z rocks. Take him if at all possible. He is very willing to help you out, and he does it well. Great personality. One can go into his CSE 103 class with no programming experience and can still ace the course, because he does such a good job of teaching.

Probably best teacher I have had at Berks. He is the nicest guy in the world and really tries to get everyone to do well. The class is very easy, not much homework, fun experience.

Read the book, go to class, copy down examples, and bring EVERYTHING to your exam. Very nice guy.

Very helpful teacher. Teaches exactly what is on the tests and doesn't waste time on trivial issues. Recommened the course book, but didn't force us to buy it. Printed out all the notes so the class lectures were extremely easy to follow. Great professor!

If you are interested in learning basic programming techniques, he is the professor to learn from. He's incredibly helpful, and is very easy to get along with and understand. Doesn't waste time on things that are trivial, and provides great notes. Tests are easy if you read the notes and can program fairly well. A GREAT professor.

Dr. Z is awesome. He is my adviser and my friends come to him for advice now because he is just incredible. I have him for Engineering Thermodynamics and he is the pinnacle of professors.

Awesome class. Very clear, he prints the notes for you and its on line, and is very helpful. Honestly if you do poorly in a class like his, it's probably your fault. Btw, he loves it when you use "goto"s in your programs.

Dr. Z is interesting. He is very emotional. He likes to waste class time, so don't bother showing up for the first 15 minutes because it is all BS. The guy has great notes. You don't belong in college if you don't get A's on the open book multiple choice exams. If you fail his class just give up on life. I learned a lot in his classes. LOL ROFL

Dr. Z is a decent professor but he wastes a lot of time during class. He also talks to his other students and professors during tests inside the classroom, which is quite annoying.

Dr. Z is the most helpful and curtious professor i know. he gives you all the notes and lets u use them during the test. the best part is that he hangs out with u during the first 15 mins of class

This guy is very funny, and a great teacher. Once he brought in a cooler with hail from the storm the night before showed it to us and then started to eat it and said it tasted like roof shingles. Great Teacher and Person.

He is a cool guy, but waits till the end of the simester to give big projects and then he takes forever to grade your work.

Whomever thinks that Dr. Z's teaching methods are poor should either start listening or ask questions during class when Dr. Z has an open discussion. I personally think Dr. Z is a great professor that teaches the material both efficiently and adequately.

I had him a few years ago, and enjoyed the class.

Dr. Zambanini, or "Z" as we call him, Knows how to teach. His examples are clear, he offers help to every student, and he makes sure his students understand concepts. If you can choose him over another professor, especially for Calculus or any kind of Physics, DO IT.

I'm going to sum this class up in one rating. Dr. Z will bend over backwards to make sure that the entire class gets A's. This seems nice but its hes only hurting his students. He LIVES for his students. If anyone decides they don't like him its practically Armageddon. While you will definitely get an A in his class you will not learn much.

This guy is nice to a fault. It's almost impossible not to get an A, and it a differential equations class. Not everyone should get an A in a differential equations class. I think his greatest fear on earth is having a student who doesn't like him. Easy A for sure.

Someone who actually cares about the subject and understands students. The material isn't hard for people who are interested but he always takes time to explore ideas or experiment with concepts when a student asks. Its hard to tell hes not a computer science degree holder.

Without a doubt the best professor I've had, and probably will ever have. He truly cares deeply for his students and their academic performance. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone understands the material. The tests are open-note and very easy.

Awesome professor. Easy class. Lets you use notes, laptops, and books during tests, without any time limit for the test. You can take as long as you want and finish it whenever you have time throughout that day.

Dr. Z is, by far, the most motivational professor I've ever had. He makes you WANT to learn ; and, never is unapproachable, even in the hallway on the way to class he will stop and answer a question. Other Prof's should learn from him.

Dr. Z is the coolest guy ever. He also cares about his students and wants everyone to receive the best grade possible. The classes are fun and interesting and he is a major sports guy. You can also talk to him anytime and he is super approachable. The only way to fail is to not show up during tests because they are all open note.

Sometimes I wonder if he is too lenient on the students, but then I remember that I want a good grade. Definitely a cool guy, choose this professor over anyone else.

Dr. Z is one of the finest professors at PSU Berks. Lectures are vital to understanding the vast amount of knowledge that is being taught. Z manages to keep these lectures upbeat through his comedy! Tests are fair and so is his grading. A true gem to the Computer ScienceComputer Engineering students at PSU Berks.

Dr Z is great. He makes the class go by really quick and if you follow along and pay attention, you won't have any problem passing the course. His tests are a lot, but when you get them back, he welcomes discussion about the grade you received and if you respectfully talk to him about a point being taken off, he might give it back to you.

Dr. Z really cares about his students, and if you care, you will get a great grade. He provides examples for all material on the test, so it is best to attend class or if you miss, he is willing to meet with students. I felt he was a bit too quick for my learning style, but meeting with him after class mitigated that. He gives a lot of extra credit

Dr Z is great. Really funny, doesn't care about much in terms of what you're using the computer for, but still does a great job in covering the material and making it understandable. Would definetely take him again and again. Gets to know students on a personal level compared to other professors.

I love this man the nicest guy Ive ever met. Really cares about his students. Hes funny cares about you in and outta class and he wants to help you in every way he can to make sure you know the material. I wish him the best of luck best college professor ever!

I love Dr. Z. With my previous experience in computer science, I have been able to connect with him dearly. He named one of his class rules after me, and knows me pretty well by now. I have enjoyed his class the most out of all my classes as I always have a fun time. He loves to joke around and smile. He also tries to include everyone in the class.

I failed calc twice before I had Dr. Z, now I have an A+ because he made the material interesting and easy to understand. The movie references are great too!

Math classes for engineering students can be challenging to say the least, but Calc with Dr Z was a world of difference. Dr Z took the time to explain concepts while making learning enjoyable with Dad Jokes and Movie References. I've had other math profs at Berks and he puts them all to shame.

Dr. Z is a very fun and caring professor. He is a very easy grader. He moves very quickly through important topics and gets of topic VERY often. He is super nice, but I came away feeling like I learned more about his personal life than thermodynamics. He gives you the tools to learn, but it is a lot of self help learning.

Dr. Zambanini is the best. Hilarious guy, who makes every lecture and lab funny. I took CMPSC 131, intro to compsci, and as my first computer science class im glad it was with him. His lectures are really clear, and his labs are helpful for learning how to code. Tests are very easy, and you should have an easy A if you pay attention, I reccomend!!!

Nicest dude, but now that I am about to graduate from CS at UP, his classes were really easy, but at the expense of critically under developing my skills to succeed in the 400 level classes.

Dr. Z is great, He seriously can take any subject and make it entertaining. His classes are very easy and the tests are a walk in the park. There is a good amount of homework, but they are fairly easy and he will help you with absolutely anything you need. He is a really relatable guy and fun to talk to, definitely recommended professor.

Dr. Z is a great professor, he really has all the materials and information that you need to learn as a student. His honesty, kindness, and overall effort is respectable to me as a person. He is the kind of professor that makes you want to keep going to class and brightens your day.

Out of the six classes I took last semester, CMPSC 131 with Dr. Z was the one I always looked forward to the most! He's a funny guy who anyone can approach both inside and outside of class, and his lectures are simple and concise, translating into his exams as well. Overall, had a very nice learning experience!

Dr. Z is a great professor. The midterms aren't too hard and they are open notes. He explains the material well and is funny and engaging in his lectures. Attendance isn't required and the lectures are recorded but I would recommend going to class to hear him explain the notes.
