Econ is a thorn in my side, but the class was actually okay. Ms Biby has a way of keeping your attention. work is okay if you read and ask quetions.

Really fun course, she teaches it in a way you can understand. Take ECON 200 with her, much easier than anyone claims.

She always smiles, tests are not easy but not hard, she teaches almost everythign you need to know, suprise questions on tests, so read the book. overall great prof.

Mrs. Biby is a great professor who respects everyone and tries to keep class interesting. I would recommend her to anyone. Her class is not really easy, but you can easily get a good grade if you put a little effort into it. Two thumbs up!!

I hate economics, but with Prof. Biby I'm getting a decent grade and I don't have to study too much With anyone else I'd probably be failing. She is a good prof, gives extra credit, is easy going and flexible. doesn't give a ton of homework. Gives full credit for in class quizes and assignments.

Fun stories & made it interesting. I stink at word problems but I think I'm getting a decent grade. Test are difficult but there is an opportunity for extra credit.

She's really nice and explains in depth. She's always willing to cover something again if you didn't understand and tells you what's going to be on the test pretty much. She does get off on tangents but it doens't take away from learning. They're usually at least decent examples.

She has a lot of great stories to tell you about herself and her kids, which makes the class more interesting. The homework is not too hard if you pay attention in class and take good notes, you should probably read too, it is a pretty easy read actually. I really enjoy the issues that we talk about, it's interesting. I recommend this class. :-)

Easiest teacher I've ever had. She makes it interesting and her tests are pretty simple. She spends a lot of time preparing you for the tests and final exam. Just come to class and take notes and an A is almost guaranteed.

She's nice and seems to be a good teacher. However, she doesn't make it interesting enough and quite often I leave the class confused on what I was supposed to get from that 50 minute period. Make sure you do the homework and listen during class and you should be alright on a test.

The class concepts are a lot harder than eco 210 but professor Biby does a good job explaining things...the tests are tricky and require a lot of reading and studying...going to class is mandatory because you can miss a lot from missing just one lecture!

Pretty easy class...classes can be a little challenging but if the whole class does bad she tends to curve it

I thought she was great. She gave helpful examples that we could relate to in order for us to understand a concept. Her test were Multiple choice and a few short answer which were usually problems or graphs. She used power point and posted them on blackboard at the beginning of the semester. I would defenitely take one of her classes again!!

What a great teacher. She bends over backwards for her students and works very hard to keep constantly improving. She checks understanding of students every few minutes, even just by looking for the "lost look". Very well organized. Even for the phobic, this class was great. If you DO the WORK, you will be FINE! The book that we used was online. We did 3 current events and another was offered for extra credit. The lecture is through a powerpoint that has many examples, which is why it is important to go to class! The final exam is all copy and pasted questions from the previous tests. Very good teacher, approachable, and nice

Class was kind of boring. Book is online and so is the homework. Need to go to class for most of the info that is on the test. All of her power points are online.

Prof. Biby is a sweetheart. Go to her office hours she is willing to help with anything. The tests were rather challenging. Go to class and study the powerpoints. Online hw is nice. Final copy and paste all of the old tests, took me thirty minutes.

Prof. Biby teaches very laid back in class. She likes a lot of discussion over topics. REading and/or taking notes is a must. Final exam is all the old tests put together. That sounds mighty fine to me, eh?

Probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. Even though I have had this class early, I found it to be interesting. She isn't biast at all with her opinions and is willing to hear out both sides.

Professor Biby is a sweetheart. She's fun and really laid-back. If you read the book and do the homework you'll be fine. She doesn't take things too seriously and isn't opinionated at all. She likes to tell stories about her kids sometimes but its not a drag to go to class.

Prof biby is by far the easiest professor ive had. She understands that as a gen ed class, it should be easy.. and it is. i just took my final exam today and all the questions were copy and paste off old tests and she even told us thats what she was doing. however she does take attendance so you have to go to class. still- very easy A!

She is such a sweatheart and she is so willing to help you. She takes attendence randomly and she can tell if you've been going to class. If you plan to skip then don't expect her to bend-over-backwards to help you catch up. Her lectures are funny and she uses her family as examples which helps you remember main points. I would take her again!

LOVED this prof. She inspired me to change my major to economics. Extremely nice and makes very clear what you should be studying. Read the book, it's easy reading but random questions from it pop on tests alot. Definitely try to get her as a prof.!

By far, the easiest teacher GV has. I read the chapters once and sort of payed attention in class, and i still got a's on everything. Also, VERY generous when it comes to grading. had to write a paper at the end of the semester. I wrote it the night before and even i thought it was awful, but somehow i still got an 100%. Easiest teacher ever.

One of my favorite professors. Off the wall nuts and uses alot of real life examples. Easy enough concepts and extra credit on exams is stuff in the book she didn't teach. Offers alot of extra credit and hw every week to boost your grade up. Def recommend.

She is really nice and is willing to help you & answer questions or go over if you don't understand. MOst homework is online as well as the textbook, tests are not too bad, final exam are questions from previous tests. She uses powerpoint and puts the slides on blackboard so you can print them.

This class is boring in geneal, but she's an amazing professor. Upbeat and extremely helpful if you go to her office hours. The exams aren't bad, and the final is based off only previous exam questions so it was very easy! Take her if you can.

To sum it up, I hated econ before this class, but she made it so interesting! I loved having her. I think that's saying something since it was in fact a 6-9. Great professor.

Biby is really nice, I've had her for Micro and Sports econ now and I'm not a big fan of economics. the Hr and 15 min class does seem to drag on most classes, but everything is relatively easy to learn from her. Usually has 4 tests and some online homework which is easy points. Doesn't take attendance always but will notice if your out alot.

Professor Biby is awesome! I retook ECO 211 because I did awful the first time around. With my las professor, I felt confused and lost. It was completely opposite with her. She takes the time to explain the material and if you go and visit her before class, she is more than willing to help you. I highly recommend her!

If you don't like econ, you will after you have this prof. She is so amazing at what she does, and really makes this subject interesting. She is one of the better profs at gvsu. there are no quizes, the tests are easy if you look at the slides, and you understand the information in and out. There is no book just online homework. if you can take her

Biby is a very, very nice woman and is generally a good teacher. Her tests are hard though, a lot of application of ideas in the form of graphing, calculating, etc. You have to prepare for them.

Great Professor

Awesome professor!! Would take her again if I could. She explains everything you need to know for the exams very well. Makes you work for your grade and will not give you a "A-," even if you had an A the whole semester. I ended up with a B+, though I believed I should have gotten an A. Awesome teacher overall!!

Even though I've only completed one year, Professor Biby is the best instructor I have had a GV so far. She is an extremely nice and helpful lady, but at the same time makes you work hard and think about the concepts. I would highly recommend her.

Honestly, Professor Biby is my favorite professor. She was so clear in the class and made it enjoyable with her awesome personality. I would recommend her to anyone. I was not looking forward to this class seeing as I do not enjoy anything math or economics related, but it was very fun and easy to follow with her!

Professor Biby is a GREAT teacher! I really appreciated that she used Aplia for homework assignments because it gives immediate feedback, in most cases. She checks all the boxes I need, clear grading and due dates, entertaining lectures, and accessible outside of class. She is extremely helpful when doing the info lit. I looked forward to her class, and will take her again if I need another econ class.

Professor Biby was very energetic and upbeat for every single lecture. She does read straight off a powerpoint, but takes the time to discuss things other than just Econ and form a relationship with her students. She is very to the point with her assignment requirements and is always willing to do additional help. Would recommend for sure.

Professor Biby was always available and helpful during her office hours. Many times I felt that additional help was needed after watching her lectures. There is quite a bit of time involved in completing assignments and quizzes. Be sure to start the literary essay as soon as possible because it's time-consuming.

She's really sweet and understanding. Took her accelerated course and she was quite thorough with the amount of time she was given to teach. Accelerated course was very homework heavy only because it was done in 8 weeks. One big project thats easy, just don't procrastinate on it. I loved this professor's personality. She is very goofy and out there for sure, she also uses good examples to explain things. However. this class (ECO 211) was very difficult. I have never struggled in Economics, and I'm an economics major, but she didn't provide good study guides and her tests are very difficult. She is very tough grader.

I had Biby for ECO 211 and she was super friendly and cares a lot about her students. I found the class a little bit difficult and the tests were kind of hard but going to class and really working through the homework helped a lot. The workload was not bad at all, only 1 homework and 1 quiz every week and lots of extra credit opportunities.

I have taken Prof. Biby for both ECO 210 and ECO 211 and loved both classes. She is super caring and really wants to see her student succeed. Her test are fair and she will always let you know what to look out for on the tests. Would take her for any ECO class!

Bobby Biby is one of my favorite professors at GV. She lectures all class, but the lectures are very interesting. Exams are challenging, but open note. Weekly assignments that are not too bad. One big group project at the end with a paper and presentation. She has a great personality and is very enjoyable. Would love to take her again.

I was 5 weeks behind at one point, and Biby allowed me to make up all of the work. I had an issue with my technology and she completely understood. Later in the semester, none of my work submitted because I was unknowingly working offline, and she completely understood. She gets frustrated but is willing to bend to help her students get on track.

Bobbie is so kind and her analogies for lectures are so thoughtful and she tries to be relatable for her students. She will give you extentions on most anything. Very kind person, not hard to do well in the class if you put the effort in.

Biby is a wonderful person, very caring and outgoing. You can tell how much she knows about econ and how much she cares for sports, but a lot of her lectures are very dry and she says a lot of words with not much meaning. Group project is not bad, not all members have to present to the class. Exams are a little difficult but are online.

Professor Biby was awesome throughout the semester. During the spring semester she allows an extra credit opportunity during march madness. This extra credit boosted my final grade for the course by 1 whole letter grade. Overall the class is a great upper-level elective and Bobbie does a great job of creating a fun atmosphere for her lectures.
