I had Dr. Cravo for Anatomy & Physiology I and I highly recommend her. She is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. I looked forward to every class and it was because of her! She has an amazing attitude and she genuinely cares about her students. She wants you to succeed and she provides you with the tools necessary to be successful!

Dr. Cravo is a great professor. Anatomy and physiology is a difficult course, but Cravo explains everything in such detail that it makes the tougher material more clear-cut. If you ever need any help at all she is always willing to be available at any time. And she's a great person! Take her for A&P!

I had Professor Cravo for A&P 2401 lab. This class requires a lot of memorization. Whatever Professor Cravo gives on her test you'll find the answer in her power points. So study. She's makes herself available to students who needs help. I would take her class again.

Dr. Cravo is an amazing teacher. I took her for Lecture and Lab. She really works with the students and she gives out hints for whats on the test. Her tests are not hard but you do have to work for it since it is a college level class. I highly recommend her. She is from Brazil so she has an accent. but it is easy to understand her. LOVE HER!

Amazing professor. I was terrified of taking a class this hard, but she really gives you all the tools and helps you do great. The class isn't easy so make sure you STUDY a lot. Questions for tests come from a combination of the book, power points, and mastering questions. Also visiting the since room helps with lab.

She is a great professor she makes sure you understand things you need for the exams, A&P is a very difficult class but she makes it easier to understand. she is always available in her office hours which is great!! took 2401 and 2402 with her she is the BEST!

Great professor! Took her for both lab and lecture. She is always there to help you. For lecture, there are 4 tests which she gives study guides for and 10 online quizzes. For lab, there are 3 lab practicals, 10 quizzes, and 2 lab reports. She is willing to help as much as she can with the lab reports which helps a lot!!

Took her for both lecture & lab is very helpful, if you don't understand something just ask and she will help you:) She provides reviews for every practical and lecture test Lectures sometimes seem repetitive to what you will hear again for another 2 hours in her lab but repetition is key! Tests are not what you expect overall wants you to succeed

Cravo is amazing! This class is difficult period but Professor Cravo breaks everything down to where you understand it. If you study and work hard enough you can get a good grade.

I took Dr. Cravo for A&PI and A&PII. And I would take her again! And again! She is a great teacher and she is always available to help! The course is not easy, so be prepared to study! She even offered extra review sessions to help us! All lecture tests are multiple choice. Quizzes are online. She DOES NOT takes points off for spelling.

If you really want to learn A&P, take her. If you just want to show up and get an easy A, find another professor! She will make you work hard for your grade, but that is the kind of professor that you want if you are going into the Nursing Program! She is always available to help! This is a hard class, but you she will guide you!!

I only had her for lab. Really knows what she's talking about, always open to questions and will individually show you all of the structures on models, has clear pp's. She'll drop 2 quizzes and give an EC opportunity to add another quiz grade. Practicals are hard only because the labels on the models are worn off (but that's not her fault)

Had her for A&P 1. DO NOT TAKE FOR A&P 2. she will destroy you and your GPA. she's a tough grader but has good charisma. speaks VERY fast! Also super harsh grader on lab reports. Lecture exams aren't that easy. Great lab instructor (just study the minimal requirements).

I LOVED Professor Cravo! This class is incredibly hard but she's willing to work with you and make sure you understand everything. She does talk a bit fast, but all you have to do is tell her to slow down. She's so sweet and funny and you can tell she's very passionate about what she does. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Professor Cravo is the BEST professor I could have for anatomy! She does have an accent, but its not hard to understand her. She is very passionate and excited about biology that she will start talking a little fast, but just ask her to slow down and she will. (she knows she gets excited) You have to put in the work to get an A but IT IS POSSIBLE.

Dr. Cravo is the best, most understandable anatomy professor in the Collin College system! I took her for A&P I and A&P 2 and compared to Brown or Fanini, she's teacher you wanna take. For the tests, to get the best results, do the practice tests in the study area, aside from the usual studying! If you wanna get an A, take Cravo you guys.

Loved this class- A&P is intimidating but she made lectures interesting and gives you all the resources to get an A (I dont think theres anyway to get around studying a lot for this class). Provides study guides and doesnt try to trick you on exams. Tons of quizzes, tests and other assignments so if you mess up on one, plenty of room to recover

Easily one of the best professors I've ever had - she's definitely tough, but she goes out of her way to make concepts understandable and relatable. I took her for both lecture and lab in 2401 and again for 2402 lecture (her lab didn't fit with my schedule, but I definitely missed having her!). Very accessible outside of class and eager to help.

Took Cravo for A&P 1 & 2,WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Super nice, is always willing to help, and really cares for the subject and students. Regularly have quizzes and tests come from her power points that she makes available so attendance is optional. Attended half of classes and still made high grade although the difficulty reflects a science course.

This class was incredibly hard for me but she is a great professor and provides you with everything you could possibly need. If you put in the work and STUDY you will do just fine!

Dr. Cravo is an amazing professor! She tells you what you need to know/remember for AP2 and most importantly she reads the room. If she sees a lot of blank looks, she explains the information in a different way. So important in any science class but especially in AP. My only complaint is that I couldn't get into her AP2 class as it filled up fast

I loved taking her class! The class itself is hard but she made it so much easier. She does not take attendance but if you dont show up you probably wont do well. She has a Brazilian accent but is not hard to understand. She makes concepts easy to understand and uses great examples to explain things. One of my favorite teachers!

Very sweet professor who cares for her students. Gives many extra credit opportunities. If you are confused she was will stop and help you understand in explaining things differently. If you're an honor student I would definitely suggest taking her for honors. It's really nice because you can work in groups. Definitely need to study a lot for an A.

Professor Cravo is the most amazing professor I've had, so far. I took both of her 2401 and 2402 Honors Class. She makes such a tough subject so easy! She gives a lot of extra credits and is very flexible with quizzes and homework schedules (as long as the whole class agrees with it). She would also make time for you even outside her office hours!

A&P(online)sounds scary but Cravo made a hard class easy to understand. I recommend Cravo if you are taking A&P, she didnt make it confusing or intimidating. Dont get me wrong, I took this class w no job and no kids and it was still hard. I recommend taking this class when you have a lot of free time for studying, Im talking weeks of studying!

content heavy, lots of HW, most of them are quizzes on which you don't get more than 1 attempt. written HWs don't have a rubric so it's hard to understand what she wants. yes extra credit, not that helpful for your grade. exam questions were from the PPTs and HWs. Start studying for muscles and bones right after lab exam 2. SA/MCQ on exams.

Dr. Cravo 100% cares about her students, always takes time to explain & is available outside class/responds quickly. A&P pre-req for nursing & other medical degrees. If you don't come to class prepared, complete readings, & plan to self study you have unrealistic expectations. Take her if you want to LEARN & SUCCEED! Makes learning fun: THE BEST

Taken Spring 2021. Professor Cravo provided us with ample opportunities to succeed. She is engaging during in-person lectures and provides us with Pearson study resources as well as her own recorded videos over the textbook. We did a lot of group activities and games to help us learn the material. Highly recommend her in-person class!

Very caring and accessible. Willing to host extra review sessions via Zoom. Take advantage of her reviews! And I highly recommend her Honors classes if available!

TAKE HER CLASS!! AP is not an easy course at all. Dr Cravo is absolutely wonderful though. Work hard, and it'll fly by. She makes the class so much easier and you'll find if you take her lab too, it goes so much smoother. She warns you in the beginning about the workload, and she offers study plans. 3 lab practicals require full memorization. There are 4 lecture exams, with Lec #1 being the easiest Lec #2 & #3 are the most challenging if you don't study enough, Lec #4 covers just 2 chapters. She's a very tough grader for LECTURE homework & LAB REPORTS. Study hard, and you'll pass :) I recommend her 100%

Dr. Cravo is HANDS DOWN the best professor I've had at Collin. If you are a visual learner, her teaching style will work really well for you. Plus, she cares a ton about her students and helping them to succeed. She is 100% reasonable with grading, tests, and assignments, and will answer any questions you may have.

I had Dr. Cravo for both A&P 1/A&P 2. She was great. The course content is hard, but she teaches really well. She expects you to listen in class, study on your own, and actually learn---not just get by. She knows most students are future healthcare workers, so she treats the class that way. She is definitely the best A&P teacher at Collin College.

Dr. Cravo is very sweet and very knowledgeable. A&P is a hard class, but she's genuinely a nice person who wants you to succeed. She's very open during office hours, but you need to study hard. As someone who has taken a lot of the A&P professors, she's one of the best. I found her tests hard personally, but a lot of others did not and made As.

A&P 1 was my first college course in eight years and first science course in ten! I enjoyed her class so much and would take her for 2402 if I could. It's not an easy class by any means, but I am so glad I took it with Dr. Cravo. Show up, study, and she literally provides all the other resources for you to succeed.

She was an AMAZING professor. She made the very complicated class easy to understand. She also made connections which made it easier to remember a lot of the names. This class is a lot of memorization so it's really helpful to have connections to remember the names. If you're taking A&P1 I definitely recommend for sure!

Had her for AP1 during Fall 2024. She is straight to the point, and she will answer any questions you have during office hours and in class. Utilize Ballard's sites for lab, and make sure to read/skim over the slides and textbook before class so you can ask anything you are unsure of. She offers 1-2 extra credit assignments, so make sure to do it.

Dr.Cravo is the best A&P professor EVER. Take her for lecture!! Her criteria is concise, she grades quickly, and most importantly, her lectures make very difficult topics so understandable. She's also very kind, and you can tell she really tries to cultivate a relationship with her students. BUT, sign up fast for her as her class fills quickly.
