She is so full of herself she fergets to teach. Try to avoid her at all costs.
Share notes, and do the readings, she gives pop quizzes. Wacky!

She is really nice and fun. If you do the reading you can get a good grade.
Hated the class, hated her, hated baby lab...she thinks her class is the only class her students have. She wonders why her book sales have gone up?---bc she makes her kids buy it! she makes you do lab hours so she doesn't have to pay others to do it.
She is good. Sit up front and do teh readings and you will do well. Her personality is off the wall but dont let that scare you she is very helpful if you approach her

I'm getting straight A's in all my other classes and a C in hers.I sit in the front,do the readings,and I find the subject matter extremely interesting.so why do I have a C, who the hell knows, she is so unorganized.Study key terms for the tests.
DO the readings!!! Lots of readings!! Know the key terms!! If you do this u will get an A! I promise! If you don't enjoy this class u won't enjoy teaching! I like the challenge it gave me
Very nice professor but a lot of material is covered so do the readings and you'll be fine for the test. Learn terms from readings for tests.
I hear she's really hard with her other classes, but she is an absolute blast with her independent study class. You read articles, write, and discuss things with her for an hour a week with a few other students. She's great and a lot of fun!

Are you guys kidding? She is the absolute worst teacher in the education department. The many readings she assigns have nothing to do with the test or her discussions. She is so unclear and so unhelpful. Asking her a question is like talking to a wall. Save yourself from boredom and pointless work and do not take her. She is a waste of time.
I really enjoyed her class. Theres alot of homework and alot of information to remember, but if you make good cheat sheets that your allowed to use for every exam, then you'll be ok!!

worst professor i've ever had. i would recommending doing anything not to take her class.
Honestly, this class was not bad at all...as long as you go to class, make good cheat sheets and read the text book you will do well on her tests and she genuinely cares about her students, so far its been my favorite education class
its SO much reading in the textbook i feel like i've read the whole thing cover to cover. her exams are all essays and she doesnt ever grade them the TA's do, and he doesnt let you use cheat sheets anymore...
Dr. Golinkoff is the most obnoxious, pretentious, stuck up human being I have ever met. She's a terrible teacher and person, her tests are completely unfair (like 20 essays on one test)..she's an incredibly tough grader..and the only people who do well in the class are the 2 people she favors...all in all she, her class, and her lab SUCK! AVOID IT!
She's really into human development and all the pysch topics but she's a little crazy. Work hard, do the readings, participate in class and you should be fine as long as you enjoy the topic.

I will say one good thing about her, she really does know what she is talking about. Other than that she is all over the place with her thoughts, she assigns homework every night and it is a lot of readings. Also stock up on ink and printer paper because you print out massive amounts of readings!
Prof. Golinkoff was one of the most "interesting" professors Ive ever had. Entirely disorganized and scatterbrained but is very knowledgable of her stuff. The most I got out of the class was an ok field placement(that was also entirely unorganized). overall, intelligent woman but horrible prof.
Confusing, scatterbrained, hard to follow. Picks favorites in class, if you're one of them you will be fine. Lots of textbook readings and things to print out. Wouldn't recommend taking her, but if you have to, just do the readings, take notes, and study really hard for the tests because they are tricky. The field placement is nice though.
Honestly worst professor I've ever had. She sucks. Do everything you can to avoid taking her. She is so unorganized, confusing, and thinks she's hilarious but she's really just annoying. Her tests are impossible no matter how hard you study. Everyone does bad on them yet she doesn't change them because she doesn't think it's her problem.
WAY too many ignorant, insensitive comments for someone that is so educated. Forced participation, pop quizzes, SO many printed readings for EVERY CLASS, impossible tests. An hour and 15 minutes of THAT. Do what you can to get out of it.
I hated this class and this professor so much. This class was absolute torture to go to. Gives pop quizzes almost every class. She absolutely CANNOT stay on topic for more than 2 minutes at a time. She calls you out for literally nothing in front of the entire class and embarrasses you for doing nothing wrong. DO NOT CHOOSE TO HAVE THIS PROFESSOR.
Professor G. is very disorganized, forgetful, and can sometimes be rude. Participation and attendance are mandatory, tests are very difficult and involve nitpicky questions, and there is a TON of reading for homework. Plus pop quizzes every week, so don't skip the readings. Avoid if you have to, but we did get a curve and she knows her research.
Professor Golinkoff is caring but I hate how she calls on people during class. The question is so random and sometimes people dont know what to say. She will call on you every class. Tests and quizzes are so tedious ! Attendance is mandatory. She takes 1 point off for every absence.
She will call on you often and randomly. she will just pick a random name out of her head. You will spend a lot of money on ink and paper you have to print out readings for every class. However I have never learned so much from a class before and been able to apply it as well. You will be stressed but I think the take away is worth it

Golinkoff cares a lot about her students, but the amount of reading and group work required is kinda ridiculous. She has a strong personality that van come off as rude, but I did enjoy her teaching style. Must be prepared for each class and she has random pop quizzes on all the readings every week
She needs to stay in her lab and stop teaching. She randomly calls on people every class then interrupts you and blames it on being from Brooklyn, like no you're just rude. You will spend hours reading the textbook and supplementals, and her test questions are extremely nitpicky. Her class is useless and class time could be used more effectively.
Just don't do it. Professor Golinkoff is insanely rude to her students and then laughs it off. Class is essentially pointless as it is basically another chance for her to test her students like she does in her lab, hardly any notes are taken. Exams are on minimal content for the amount of reading that's required. Save yourself the trouble.
This professor is the worst i've ever had. I wouldn't recommend unless you LOVE pop quizzes and disrespect. She is rude to her students and will call on you at random. Did I mention our only grades are these pop quizzes? I truthfully believe she uses this class to promote her lab and her books she's helped make.
Very rude to students and unclear in expectations/directions. LOTS of reading and group work for every class. Lectures are confusing and slides are never posted after class. Test questions are very specific. Minimal assignments, nitpicky with grades, and only gives feedback to one person for group work. Calls on students at random. Avoid if you can
