Really interesting class doing experiments and activities. Fair exams and assignments. Dr. Paley really knows psych and makes it fun to learn. If you have a chance, take her classes.

Very intersting class. She does experiments and as long as you are in class and take good notes and listen well, her tests are a breeze.

Very funny woman. She made class not-so-boring, and her tests were extremely easy - as long as you took good notes, and listened in class. The papers are easy as well! Just try and do them all.

She is a good teacher but sometimes drags on with lectures. The class is pretty easy with only a couple assignments outside of class.

Very smart. She knows her stuff. The assignments are easy and she is understanding and willing to help anyone if they need it. The tests are generally easy too. All in all an interesting class.

she is a nice professor. very profesional and funny..but she sometimes ignor the questions that she doesn't know or not interested.the class is moderately easy.

AMAZING TEACHER!! she gives out 5 homework assignments and you only have to do 3. The other 2, are kinda like extra credit. She takes your highest homework assignments if you choose to do all of them. Her quiz and test are very easy as long as you go to her classes and take down notes.

She has a sense of humor. I like her lecture a lot. She knows what she's talking about, and present them in a very interesting way. I'm surprising I didn't need to suffer psychology cause I'm afraid i won't understand most of them.I think she gives too many assignments in my graduation semester, that took me a lot of time.

take a lot of notes, lets class out 15 minutes early, hw assignments are semi easy but only requires to do 4 out 5, tests are very hard study a lot, hw assignments make sure there are NO GRAMMATICAL errors because she acts like an english teacher and takes off so many point for every error it will lower your grade dramatically, dont buy book

She is a bit difficult to keep up with. Could use some more organization in planning exams and due dates for papers. over all an interesting class. and ok professor. not the best, but by far not the worse. she is a nice lady though. just review the chapters after every class and take A LOT of notes, and you should be fine

I really enjoyed her class. the information was interesting, she showed us very short video clips almost every class that relates to the info she's teaching. it made me look at psychology at a whole different light. take good notes! 3 tests, not cumulative, no final. a few papers here and there. easy A!

I found this teacher rather interesting. I learned a lot from her class. Everything she said was rather interesting. She does really fun class activities and only assigns 3 essays.. and has 3 tests. The tests are really easy.. just write down everything she says. I loved her!!!

If you're taking an online class, drop immediately if you're seeking an easy A. Compared to other online classes, the work load here is very high, you'll be writing at least 2 essays per module. She knows her stuff, but if psychology bores you to tears this class is not for you. Fair grader and very insightful.

Obsessed with this psych class! Prof Paley gives the most interesting assignments.The online class is a bit demanding but as long as you keep up with the due dates you will be fine.Make sure to answer discussion posts! They are worth 30% of your grade.

Fun teacher; shows interesting YouTube clips in class. I learned a lot and liked the teacher and the class. I'd take her classes again

She was an ok teacher, not particularly organized with her lesson plans (we had 3 tests during the semester but they werent even spaced throughout the course) with 2 papers (extremely easy and short) with one powerpoint on a topic of your choice. Not particularly interesting but a nice/fair teacher and an easy A

I took her online. Can't really rate her teaching style but the online course is a lot of work. You have to write several essays each week and post to an online forum but she's flexible. If you miss a deadline she won't penalize you. Overall not a bad online class I got a good grade for it.

Professor Paley is a really good professor! I had her for a online class, and the work was straight forward, and really interesting! There were no tests/quizzes, and she was really helpful when you had a question about anything. There is also a lot of writing for this class, but if you like writing, it will be easy! Would take her again if I could!

I loved professor Paley and honestly don't understand why some people were so harsh. Her lectures were clear and she really prepared you for the tests which weren't that hard. There's also two essays and a project (topic of your choice) that are easy to do! I definitely recommend her.

I liked this teacher. Topics in class were interesting. You'll need to make oral presentation.

She knows her material well. Knows how to teach psychology . Prefers students to write notes on notebooks then laptop. Her assignment are easy. The test are not hard if you study for it.

I LOVED this class. I went in the first day expecting to learn general Psychology and that is what I received. I have truly learned so much from this class and I can not stop talking about it since. Prof. Paley is a great teacher I just wish I did the last assignment. DO ALL ASSIGNMENTS! I did not complete ONE and my grade is now a C+.

I really enjoyed this professor's lectures (the class is very lecture heavy), all of the information was presented in a clear and understandable way. I would definitely take her class again.

The year consist of two papers, a case study presentation and three exams ... her lectures have no PowerPoint and I think she over explains simple topics and if youre not a good writer then you should be careful with the essay because she grades them harsher than a regular English class SHE KEEPS YOU FOR THE WHOLEEEEE 3 hours

Such a great professor! Some papers and a presentation you have to do yourself but it was pretty interesting and short. You have to really study for the midterm and final but its not hard! She doesnt like seeing you on your phone or not paying attention so she will call you out, however shes super nice and chill!

Every other week the chapters assignments are due which consists of a discussion post, topic review, and sometimes an additional assignment. It feels like a lot of work but if you manage your time well its fine. She didnt seem to be a tough grader and just wants you to prove youve learned the material.

Excellent lectures that are always very interesting! Love going to her class, no real need to skip just show up and listen to interesting psychological topics. Very intelligent and explains very clearly. Just take thorough notes and you'll do good on tests! Also very understanding of art school work loads and gives enough time for projects!! <3

Professor Paley was my favorite professor of the entire semester. She makes class very interesting and really cares about the wellbeing of her students. The semester consists of 3 exams, 2 very simple papers, and a class presentation on the topic of your choice. Just pay attention in class and you'll do great!

She is very caring and knowledgable. Her syllabus clearly outlines your requirements for the semester. There are 2 papers, a presentation, and 3 exams. You need to take good notes or it will be very hard to study for the exams. There are no slides. She prepares the class well for the exams. She's a harsh grader in my opinion, but I learned a lot.

every other week u get a topic review, discussion post, and sometimes an actual assignment. She makes the class interesting and it's really easy. Even if you procrastinate u can get the homework done in 1 day. She gives good feedback and wants you to do good! Take her if you want a good grade and not do too much work

Dr. Paley found a way to make each class engaging and enjoyable every week. She is a very fair teacher and grader and respects the opinions of her students. I would highly recommend taking her class!! She is awesome.

Professor Paley did a great job of transitioning our class online and was really generous with assignments and their deadline. She can be a tough grader and expects really detailed responses so actually put in effort into your work. She is really sweet and chose interesting topics to discuss in class.

I loved Professor Paley! She made me fall in love with psychology, now doing it as my minor! She encourages her students to have discussions and is very clear when teaching the information (I know I will remember what she taught for years). Everything she assigns is useful there is no busywork. Tests are tough but if you study you will be fine.

Prof. paley is a really genuine and nice person! she has super long and boring lectures but the class can be engaging sometimes. she has a few essays and discussion assignments throughout the semester but she gives plenty of time for them and they are fairly easy. and you have to do one presentation of a psychology topic of your choice.

I had Prof. Paley in the Fall of 2022 and she is great. Her lectures were straightforward and as long as you pay attention and participate, you will be fine. Easy A. She is very friendly and respectful.

Professor Paley was my first online class in FIT and was also the most straightforward class I've ever had. The reason I didn't score higher was fully on my part---I forgot to submit work. However, Ms.Paley clearly outlined what work was due, when it was due, and even accepted late work and gave extra credit in the end to boost GPA's. She is great.
