explains material very clearly, interesting subject, very good at teaching it
excellent teacher, but hard class
Well-structured lectures, good outlines, very interesting and knowledgeable
Always willing to help her students... very personable and a wonderful teacher
she thinks she's all that...talks about her dogs too much
interesting insights-- shes fun-- open to class discussions- Memorize notes= A+

boring and repetative at times, but she's pretty good
Not boring, very nice and personable
very smart, fair grader, always open for class discussion
Phil. is like a foreign language to me, but memorize notes, it's not too bad
She does a good job of presenting the material, really nice, interesting, funny
GREAT PROF! I hate philosophy, but makes material clear. go to class, ull be ok
One of the best teacher's ever!!! Material is hard but interesting. GO TO CLASS!
easy class memorize notes=A
Organized, Friendly, Study Notes and Read Text for Guarenteed A
Nice teacher, tests sometimes tricky, only 30 questions each
Easy, true 100 level class, cute professor!! Tests easy!
nice prof., easy class->pay attention, understand material and get all the notes

Go to class, memorize notes, easy a
BEST PROF EVER!!! Was scared as hell to take philosophy, now declaring the major
shes cute and easy class take it
Never went to class; memorized friends notes = A; all about memorizing notes
Class seemed to be in Chinese, attended every class still got D, lots of reading
Enjoys teaching, funny, and energetic, go to class and memorize notes for an A
Best teacher ever. Great class. Very clear. Very nice
exams right from notes..nice, funny and helpful
Great class, easy and fun. Likes what she's doing and makes it easy to understand.
Funny and cute.. lets you leave class early sometimes.. memorize the notes and thats all for an A
She's theeee best professor ever! I highly suggest taking any class with her.
Very cute, funny sense of humor, offers help and clarity. Lots of notes - go to class.
straight forward easy A, just study notes, nice, easy to understand and cute for a ud prof
You must go to class and get her notes. Tests are mult. choice, 30 questions each, all on her notes. Easy class, great and funny professor.
go to class and take notes and you should be ok....tests can be a little confusing at times...but not super hard....good intro level course
Exams tricky. Can only get 3 questions wrong out of 90 to get an A in the course. Nice and fun lady, just wish her exams had an essay portion or more questions.
She's a great person and a very nice lady. Class is not as easy as some may lead you to believe, however.
Watch out for the first exam! The other two are easy. Don't buy the books, exams are right from the notes. No FINAL!
You can't test philosophy with MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS designed to trick students. There are only 30 so getting more than 5 wrong will screw you.Not helpful, Stupid, and Uninterested in class.Cries like a baby if anyone (with common sense)leaves class.
O-ver-rated. She puts up notes on an overhead. I could do that. The exams are ridiculous. They are designed to trick you. The way she tests students is unacceptable.
I don't understand why people think this course is easy. Notes are directly from overheads and the tests are absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
Listen to what these people are saying! Yes, she is hot, but her tests are absolutely designed to fool you. Her lectures are super boring and her tests are just sickening. Would highly NOT recommend.
Nice teacher but grades hard in this class. Lots of information and on essays expects you to understand the readings which is very hard to do.
I think that she is an awesome professor!! I dont know what the rest of you are talking about..shes a very easygoing professor and keeps class interesting
Her teenage vernacular endears her to the students while she bores you with personal anecdotes and boring overheads. It is regurgitating banal facts that verify what you already know. True and False questions in philosophy? No free-thinking.
very sweet, excited, and zany. sometimes gives way to much info for students to remember and is soemtimes hard to follow. she is very fair though, and understanding. go to her for help and/or concerns. she cares!
nice lady, good teacher.. little wierd and funny at times but over all a good class.
Nice class, caring teacher. Go to her for help if you need it. I found her to be pretty clear in her lectures, and the class was interesting. Not a hard class, but tests can be a little decieving. Study the notes, and you'll easily get a decient grade. No need to read, unless you need the help.
this teacher is boring and made the class very uninteresting
Easiest class I've taken so far. Subject material isn't overly exciting, but not hard to understand. Tests DO NOT trick you, they are straight from the notes. Memorize and you'll be fine.
The tests are so hard. She claims the tests will be easy but they are really not! The lectures are somewhat boring and the text is hard to read.
People are idiots, her tests are tricky as**** and she's never there to help you. She dumps you off to her TA and if you have a crappy/****y one like I did, its no help. Mult. choice questions, only 30 so you miss a few and youre already down a letter grade. take with anothe prof.
Tests are multiple choice and very tricky. She is a nice lady and a good professor but the tests are rediculous.
good professor, tries to make things very clear and is usally successful. not too much unnecessary work involved. tests are all multiple choice and can be tricky, but overall it's not too difficult. interesting material.
Tries her hardest to explain things, but lectures are confusing as are the tests. she doesn't post the grades online or shows you in class what you got; she makes you go to the department building to look them up. I was confident in getting good grades on the test but only ended up with a C- as a final grade.
nice lady, easy class, tricky tests.
I can't remember what the exact name of the calss was. It was race/gender science, or something like that. But anyway, she is awesome! I wasn't interested in the subect at all, but she made it interesting. She is soooo helpful if you go to her office, and a really cool person.
She is really nice and her overheads are clear. Her exams on the other hand are not so clear. Some of the questions are extremely tricky and there are only 25, so if you miss 3, you are down to a B.
I should have taken Laberge in stead of this class. the dicussions and readings were clear. However, her exams were not. If you miss 3 or more questions, you are down to a B.
Professor gets really excited about the topic, discussion encouraged, review sessions are helpful, need to go to class to do well on the exams
Class material was clear and somewhat interesting, though the exams were inordinately tedious to do and require the student to simply memorize the text book. If attendance wasn't necessary, there would no be any need to attend. If you lack a photographic memory then avoid PHIL/WOMS 216
Honors level class. VERY hard. Took as a freshman, the topic is not at all what I thought (looking for a psychology related class). This is almost more of a graduate level topic. She is great. I would take her again, just not in this class. It is also very controversial in the sense you can disagree with the basis of the class. I did.
I also thought that this class would be related to psychology. Honors class and took is as a freshman. This is by far one of the hardest classes I have taken at UD. I suggest taking it only if you're required to or if you're very interested in the subject. She's a really nice and fun lady though. There were 4 grades, two tests and two essays.
As a senior I feel confident in saying she is one of my favorite professors. Definitely my favorite outside my department. She is so excited about her topic it is hard not to share her enthusiasm. Hard work, but nothing that shouldn't be expected from a 400 level class. Would take every class she teaches if I didn't want to graduate on time.
She is very enthusiastic and passionate about the subject, so class is almost always interesting. The notes can be very disorganized so you have to figure a lot out for yourself. Assigned a lot of articles to read, half of them she will say she doesn't like them or doesn't agree with them which can be frustrating and sometimes confusing.
Extremely hard class. Don't take unless you have to. I took because I thought it looked interesting, but I wish I hadn't. Tests are on stupid details that we hardly talked about, and she grades unfairly. Seems nice on the surface until you really get to know her
I took this class honors and it was a very hard class. She is enthusiastic and made the content interesting but did not test on what was taught in class. Gives numerous on your own assignments and hard paper topics, but grades pretty easily.
She takes attendance daily, which sucks because her class is a complete waste of time. All she does is go on and on about her family and pets, making the material confusing; wasting time. I did the readings on my own and it was so much easier and simpler. Take the class because it's interesting, but be ready to bring your computer and ignore her.
She is one of my favorit professors. She makes the topic interesting and is very excited to teach. She takes time to answer questions and is very kind. Your notes might get a little sloppy, and the tests are pretty straight forward.
She is the greatest professor I've had in 3 years of college education. She makes things interesting and fun. I would recommend anyone to take this class.
Most helpful teacher and advisor I have yet to come across at the U of D.
Professor Andreason is so nice! She's a bit quirky, so if you don't like goofy professors you might not like her. She is very enthusiastic and interested in the material she teaches and is more than willing to go over info until everyone understands. The tests are pretty general, not hard if you study. Not much homework either. fairly easy A
Prof. A. is really perky but also kind of ridiculous. The tests were the whole grade and they were the most random questions. I don't even know what the point of this class was, but it wasn't much work - just show up and take detailed notes.
Dr. Andreasen is the quirkiest professor I have ever had, but she is a very good lecturer, she's clear and she understands students very well. Attendance is not mandatory, but don't expect to do well if you don't go to class. The exams come straight from the lectures and homework, no surprises. I do recommend.
She's a great professor, but this is not an easy class. If you want an easy breath requirement, don't take this one. If you need it for the cog sci major/minor, it is an extremely interesting class. Exams are basically all lecture-based and they are all blue-book. You'll need the textbook for homework assignments - about 8 for the semester.
A good professor, but a little crazy. Makes herself laugh but she is funny in a quirky way. Great professor, but the class isn't that easy and it's difficult to get into.
She is a nice person, but so scatterbrained it's very difficult to follow most of her lectures. Don't bother reading the text book the tests are all memorization of specific words from the notes. really hit or miss, requires more effort than other introductory classes.
Absolutely adore her, best prof I've had so far. She is very passionate and excited about the work she does, and that's always refreshing. Her attitude inspires students to take an interest in the material and ask questions. Her tests are not easy, but if you attend class regularly, pay attention, and take good notes you should be just fine.
Fantastic professor!!!! Best professor I have had at the university so far. She is very enthusiastic about the material which helps student find an interest in the subject matter. The tests are not difficult, they are mostly reiteration of material from the readings/notes with a little application. Overall a great course with an awesome professor!!
Honestly the best professor I have ever had. She is engaging and interesting. She does go on tangents about his children, but it keeps the class interesting. If you go to her for help she is extremely helpful and sweet. She is obviously very smart and I feel so lucky to have had her. Study all your notes and ask questions and you'll do great
Don't take the honors section of this class. There are only 2 tests and a paper. It is incredibly difficult. Dr. A is confusing and jittery and jumps all over the place. I never knew what was going on in class. She goes off on tangents a lot and it's hard to know what is and isn't important. The tests were hard. Don't take this unless you have to!
AMAZING PROFESSOR. She is so engaging in her lectures. She curves her exams, they are free response but if you go to review sessions and study they're manageable. She's one of the best professors I've had and she's a professor I wouldn't mind talking to outside of class. Always offers help ad updates syllabus to keep it up to date with readings
Really enjoyed her class, she's very likable and doesn't give a huge workload!
I really enjoyed this class and the material, but I will say that her exams are pretty hard. You have to work really hard for an A. People did really poorly on the first exam, so she curved it and began giving out extremely helpful but extensive study guides that directly correlated with the exams. She is also super sweet and caring.
I really enjoyed the class and loved Dr. Andreasen. I would honestly just take the class for her. She's a lot of fun, caring, and helpful (the type of prof everyone should have at some point). She also keeps the material interesting and I left actually knowing the material. Make sure you go to class, participate, and take notes and you'll be fine.
This is for the Social Cognition class. 90% of the grade was made of 3 tests, which puts on a lot of pressure. They were open-note, but timed, and the questions were tough and specific. She assigns a lot of scientific articles to read and helps you understand them through the lectures. She cares about the well-being of her students and is friendly
This class is already hard and Andreasen does not help much. She doesn't have a clear plan going into each class and goes off on a lot of tangents which makes it really hard to know what's going to be on the exams (which are really hard). Only take this class with her if you absolutely need to.
Do not take her!!! She never comes to class prepared and literally just writes on a google doc as "notes" for the class. She is never focused and goes off on tangents instead of teaching people what we actually need to know for her tests(which are very difficult). If you cant get out of taking this class with her then good luck.
Dr A is easily one of my favorite professors. You learn a lot in her class and she also keeps it fun and engaging. If you pay attention and take notes, the exams are easy. There's like 3 homework assignments where you read articles and answer questions. It is graded on completion and always reviewed in class.
This class was the hardest I've taken so far at UD, but the work I put into it paid off. Your grade is only based off four exams that are all written (explanations of processes, definitions), so you really have to study for them. The material can be heavy, but Robin makes it fun. You HAVE to pay close attention to the lectures and take good notes.
Dr. Andreasen is not nice. She will not help you when you need the help. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
