Robin is rude the 1st day, lays the law down. He tells us where he stand politicly--a liberal. He walks on few egg shells. But I must say I learned more from him than any other teacher at El Centro. He demands attendance, opens minds. I am a Bush backer and yet he gave me an A, so I can have no dubt he is fair, tho at 1st I expected he wasnt'. j2b

Fletcher IS AWSOME! looked forward to his class every day, laughed everytime while learing something new and interesting every day as well. EASY class only have 2 speeches the entire semester with LITTLE side class assignments every now and then. Highly recomment you take his class for speech. I got an easy A. Also i never opened my text book lol

At first he lets you know the rules of his class. Expectations seem high however, his class lectures and videos will guide you into 2 speeches with effort required. Counts off if not attending. Class is easy!

By far my favorite teacher. I learned more in his class then any other. As long as you go to class you will get an A.

Mr. Fletcher is a very charismatic, yet pessimistic, instructor. He often cackles maniacally when talking about giving his students extra or difficult work, though if the students meet his expectations (study, show up on time, be prepared, etc.) he will usually give extra credit. He's also pro-gay, creating a friendly atmosphere for gay students.

Very open-minded, smart, understanding, fun teacher!!! He will make you comfortable and keep you smiling and laughing! Love him. He is my favorite teacher so far! The class was very easy! All you have to do is show up and do the two speeches and thats it!!! Very easy A!!!

Very good professor easy going and very fun, as long as you pay attention and stay on topic with your speech you will be good. Be open minded :)

This guy is awesome. I did a fast-track class with him on the weekends. As long as you showed up, raised your hand every once in awhile, did NoodleTools and wrote your speech the way "he wanted" it done then your were golden. Did I mention he was awesome?

Robin is an awesome teacher. He's good at putting his students at home, so that you can feel a bit more comfortable in a class that is traditionally considered unconfortable. He's very forward, and can be very opinionated, but it's in a most delightful way, with respect at the front of his game. Probably THE most memorable teacher I ill ever have.

I was quite sad leaving this professor. It was a fast track class and it was only on weekends, saturday and sunday. But he made speech and talking in front of people alot easier. I will truly never forget this instructor and i highly recommend him to all !! :)

Professor made this class worth attending over the summer. Easy to understand, easy to work with, but he is not be messed with. Very entertaining and fair.

Professor Fletcher is so sweet! I am currently taking his Summer II class and I look forward to coming to class everyday! One of the best professors I've ever had! I despise speaking in front of crowds but he made it easy and enjoyable. We laughed so much in his class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Textbook usage is low, although you will need it to study for a chapter exam and final exam. No access code. The class overall is easy; you also get handouts with concise explanations on how to do your speeches. Watched speech videos for greater understanding. Instructor is helpful with a sense of humor. Highly recommend!

Any professor who chooses to lecture on the weekend is passionate about educating students. Show up, listen, and do your work, easy A! Not only did I earned an A, I also improved on my speech.

great speech teacher. If you can't get an A on your speeches then you can't follow directions. He gives you examples of what he wants. You have to read the book to pass the test. Love him

really good teacher in my opinion he doesn't like complaining, he gives many examples or more like outlines of what he expects so its not complicated at all, you will get like 3 tests the whole semester and 3 speeches that are super easy in my opinion. he has an office and you can go ask for help. sends out emails constantly

Great Professor! He's great at his job, he explains all of the work and content in the course, gives you many chances to "makeup" your work. Just follow his directions and you'll pass. I got a B+.

Professor Fletcher is an amazing teacher who is a outgoing, eccentric, and very opininoned movie lover who has interesting lectures even though he can go on a tangent every now and then.

Fun professor. Super liberal and very open and opinionated about it. If you're offended by lefties, you may have a problem with him personally, but he only does it to prepare you for a working environment where not everyone will share your opinions or have your desired personality. Initially comes across as gruff but he has a huge heart.

Funny Professor, I feel like his class is never bored. He has sense of humor and outgoing. I never seen funny professor like Robin Fletcher.

He gives you everything you need to get an A in his class. I took him during the summer, and we did two speeches, one quiz, his final, and a few assignments that are mandatory by the college. Like i said, he gives you everything you need to pass, just follow what he tells you, and show up for class, and you will be fine. He's a cool professor.

All I can say is that there is not one good reason that you will fail the class. Show up to class and you will easily make a good grade. He is very open minded and respectful if you are to him. Easiest class ever!

It's an easy class as long as you show up and follow his specific instructions. Most of the class is him talking about his life experiences. He'd make a good drama teacher.

Classes are fun, you will not get bored. It was very easy but if you don't understand something you have to be honest with the teacher so he can help you. This man is very accessible and goes the extra mile for his students.

Amazing professor!

He is dedicated, however I think he bite's off a bit more than he can chew. I took his online class for summer II. The class was very disorganized and due dates were rarely clear. He is very specific with his assignment criteria so be sure to follow directions 100% . Good person & very accessible, seems flexible w/students. Be ready to work!

Great professor! Take him on Saturdays since he allows you to come any day of the week. He's awesome, great person and happy character.

Love, love, love this professor! He one of those professors who care about you doing well and helps you understand the material. He even sends out examples of works that are assigned to you which is very helpful! If you don't do the work, then that's on you because it is quite easy to earn an A in this class!

He was such a funny guy, a bit tough, but honestly if you did your work the way he tells you to do it you'll get an A. He was fine with me being late by 30 minutes and leaving early because at least I came to class every day. Allowed me to turn in an assignment assigned on the first day to be turned in late (But only once!)

He is a very approachable teacher, will always try to help you out in order to succeed. His lectures are enjoyable and straightforward. Speaking in front of an audience was a necessary in class, but he gave great feedback.

I was out a semester on probation for failing and decided to take the flex term. I already doubted myself in the beginning but honestly he made everything so clear and constantly checked on us. He's seriously one of a kind. Passed his class with an A. Just show up to class and do the work.

If I needed any help on the work he was more then willing to work with me.

I took his SPCH1311 flex class, and yes it's a lot of work but manageable. VERY descriptive with assignments; pretty hard to fail. JUST SHOW UP TO CLASS and ASK QUESTIONS!

Mr Fletcher is the best professor I have ever had. As Im an international student I was so scared to take this class but I loved his class . You just have to attend his class and ask him questions. He is always available outside the class. There is lots of extra credit opportunities to get an A.

I took Prof fletcher during maymester and it was the best decision ever. It was so easy and he was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. He went over with us step by step what he wanted on our papers and made class fun.

Makes sure everyone is keeping up. Accessible outside of the class. Alway there to help. Just follow whatever he says to pass. Very clear instructions

One of the best professors I've had -- clear instructions and always willing to help. Took this class online over a Wintermester, which I highly recommend. MUST TAKE PROFESSOR FLETCHER!

He showed more genuine care for his students than most of my in person professors. He makes this course almost impossible to fail, and I really did enjoy his course. He curved many of my grades, and accepted my late work. I had got strep during this course, and he did not penalize me for my poor speech since I could barely talk.

He was super easy going I took his online class during summer 2018 you basically just have to do the assignments he will tell you topics to use if you need

I took this class summer 1 2018 and it was awesome. Had several assignments but were not impossible to complete. very genuine and funny teacher. highly recommend!

Great time in his class. Laughed everyday. I came to school just to hear him talk sometimes, because the things that came out of his mouth were just GREAT! I wish all teachers were like him. Take his class, show up, do his homework, and you'll pass for sure.

My favorite proffesor by far. Lots of talking talking tlking. If your a boring, quiet person this isnt the teacher for you. He says the funniest things, and you never know what's going to come out of his mouth. He looks like a mean teacher, but he has a big heart, and cares about peoples opinions. Come to class and get ready to have a great time

Fletcher's class is really easy to understand. There are 2 speeches that are due on a YouTube platform, which are easy A's if you follow the outline and templates he gives you. There are due dates that you also have to be aware of, but for the most part, it is spaced out. Discussion board posts participation matters a lot over the whole course.

A stress free class! I was so close to receiving my associates when I realized I haven't completed a speech class! Taking the online class with Mr. Fletcher was a breeze! It is a handful of writing, speaking, and typing BUT literally do your work, try your best, and turn assignments in on time and you'll be fine! :)

Professor Fletcher is fantastic!! He always responded and graded very quickly. He obviously cares about his students. This is the first maymester class I have taken and he made it so easy. Always willing to help and went above and beyond with his responses to help you understand. Best professor I have had thus far!

Professor Fletcher is EXTREMELY FAIR! He gives you plenty of chances to correct your work if it is incorrect. His assignment have clear and understandable directions. The work load is a little on the heavy side but he gives you plenty of time in which to complete the assignments. He is always available to answer questions and to talk if necessary.

I was super worried about taking speech considering many professors required an actual audience for speaking. I was relieved when I found out that Professor Fletcher did not. Grading criteria was very clear. The work wasn't overbearing. There was at least three speeches to be recorded.

If you stick to the flow of the syllabus and follow the instructions on every unit you are guaranteed a good grade. professor fletcher makes sure you know that you can contact him whenever. you have 4 recorded speeches due including your intro, but they are easy to do if prepared. great class, great teacher! 10/10

After two years in college, professor Fletcher is by far one of my best teachers. He's patient, down to earth, and understanding. He really allows the student the ability to conquer their fear of public speaking. He does an excellent job at responding to emails. I highly recommend him as your next public speaking professor.

10/10 recommend! At first I was pretty scared to take this class, I was worried about the work and giving speeches overall, but it was NOT bad at all! I was in my last weeks of pregnancy & ended up with an A+. If I can do it, so can you! I submitted a video hours before going into labor & passed! Take this review as a sign to take this class!

Truly one of the Best professors I have taken so far, he is very strict on homework deadlines, but the deadlines are very fair and the homework is really easy if you don't procrastinate. He is very approachable when it comes to needing help if the grading criteria isn't clear enough. His class is very easy and you are bound to learn lots of things

Took the class over the winter easy A if you turn everything on time. Class only had 4 db, 3 speeches (not infront of an audience) and few small assignments. Doesn't allow late work but fair grader.

This class was a breeze. His grading is also very lenient. I took him for an 8-week course and this class was very worry free. Of course there is work to get done but you don't need to stress too much about it. Totally recommend!

Fun class. Professor Fletcher is great at communicating when you have questions and is quick at responding emails and makes class lectures fun.

Professor Fletcher's online class was very easy and straight forward to understand just make sure you turn everything on time. His assignments for the speech videos don't require you to have an audience. He also responds to emails pretty quickly so don't hesitate to ask him any questions. There's no reason to not get an A in his class.

As long as you follow his clearly outlined instructions and keep track of your assignment due dates, you will pass the class!

I took Prof Fletcher for an online 8 week course. While it was a shorter than a average class, it was completely doable in that amount of time based on how he structured it. Just always check into the course, keep ahead of the due dates and you will pass this class with flying colors. He's a great and caring professor. Take his class for Spch1311!!

Lots of work, doesn't give xtra time for makeup assignments. No excuses not even a death in the family. However the course is so easy just do ur work & participate in discussion boards. Don't wait last minute to them trust me. Easy but don't procrastinate.I missed 2 assignments I got an A. Speech need to be recorded thankfully u can do them alone.

There were about 10-15 assignments, and what drew me to his course were the DBs about book banning. I earned a 100% final grade since I checked Announcements and assignments daily and turned them in as soon as he posted them. He even wanted me to consider being a Speech prof since I enjoyed the course so much! A little too late for that career :)

He seems real mean and strict at first but he's actually really funny and chill. Encourages discussion and asking questions outside of class via email. Only way to not pass is if ur a procrastinator or consistently turn in assignments late or not at all.

He is the best professor for speech. He is the best if you are ready to do all the assignments on time and want perfect grading. I did all my assignments and received straight A. The last thing is that you have to submit assignments on time, and he is strict regarding due dates.

I definitely would recommend this Professor. He does not take long to grade assignments, and he is good on feedback. Responds quickly to emails. He is strict on due dates but just do everything on time and do work early and you will pass the class. He does not accept late work. 10/10!

Received a perfect score, nicest professor I have had so far, lectures are mainly js talking. Most of his assignments were online. It is extremely hard to fail. Responds emails quickly. 3 speeches and extra points were awarded. I will definitely miss this class! :)
