Professor Keehn is so wonderful. She has the best sense of humor, picks reading you might not read on your own but are greatful to have read when you are done. Do the assigned readings and you will be fine. She is really nice, genuine and easy to talk to. Be ready to analyze, analyze, analyze!!!!!

Dynamite prof. The single best english teacher I've ever had. I learned more in her 465 class than in any of my other classes. She will teach you how to write and how to enjoy it too!

I love this professor. Dr.Keehn is amazing and I really want to take another class with her. This was one of my favorite classes and the discussion were never boring. Doing the reading and attending class is mandatory. The class isn't too difficult but you have to put in the effort.

This was my first college class and I loved it. Dr. Keehn made class time fly because she is made literature interesting. She made me love reading. Also unlike high school where I felt like I was given high grades, I earned my grades in her class. She has high standards and should because this is college!

Dr. Keehn is a really good and thorough professor but is an EXTREMELY HARD GRADER! She is very passionate about writing and being successful and she shows it through her grading process. Your papers will come back to you COVERED in notes. She is a very enthusiastic professor and if you have questions for her, just ask.

I definitely do not like writing but her class really changes your opinion on literature. She is really funny and has a great personality. Her stories are pretty funny and she absolutely cares about every student. Don't be afraid to talk to her for extra help because she does want you to succeed. Take Humor Literature!

LOVEEEEEEEE. Class was super funny (even though it was a humor class i can tell all her classes are funny because of her personality) Ask for help- extensions include. Let her know your struggles-she gets it. Highly recommend. You do need to buy all the books and take them to class. Mid term and finals are easy. Take notes!

Dr. Keehn is the funniest professor I have ever had. She is very thorough in her grading, she will read every sentence of your essay but I really appreciated her doing that because it made me a better writer. Her class was amazing. She really cares about her students. You definitely have to put effort in for a good grade but it was worth it.

Dr. Keehn loves what she does and she shows it. One would be too busy being captivated by her outgoing nature to not be interested. Her papers were tough, however, she knows exactly how to strengthen one's writing. She spends her time grading each paper, so you can rest assured the grade received is accurate. She's thought provoking.

I took her class two semesters in a row (LTWR 107 & GEW 101). I am disappointed that I will not have the chance to take a class with her next semester. She is blunt and honest, yet kind & radiates positive energy. She is funny & makes classes interesting. I went her office hours often. She happily offered tips to strengthen my writing.

I would definitely take this class again if I had the chance! I loved attending this class. She is a tough grader when it comes to essays but she tells you how she wants you to format your paper and what she expects in your paper. There were 3 essays and one mid-term and final which were a mixture of matching, multiple choice and short answer.

Dr. Keehn is an amazing teacher, just make sure to participate in class. Do the reading! She gives a quiz every day and uses that as attendance so you also have to show up on time. She gives great feedback, she'll tell you exactly what you need to work on! Hilarious, a little cooky, and very confident. Just take great notes and participate in class

She is a good professor. She grades hard and gives really good feedback on your papers. There's a lot of reading homework every night. There is a lot of work in this class but she makes it fun. She's blunt and sometimes can be rude and a little insensitive. I had a love/hate relationship with her. Her class is not easy but it is enjoyable.

Dr. Keehn made literature fun for me. She is a really great teacher and is super hilarious (and own it too). She's tough but she gives you the grade you earned and is helpful when you ask for it. If you get the chance, I recommend taking her class!

One of my favorite teachers. She really cares for her students and it shows. Hard grader but she's very specific on what you need to work on. May seem strict at first but Dr. Keehn is actually the funniest person. She wants everyone to succeed and is always willing to help, all you need to do is ask. Very inspirational. Dr. Keehn is a tough grader on essays so beware of her grading criteria. She is very engaging in class and has some hilarious stories. She will give pop quizzes every once in a while and expects you to be prepared for class by reading the books. I wasn't too sure about her at first, because of how tough she grades, but she made me a better writer.

Dr. Keehn makes her class a fun learning environment. She is hysterical!! (One of her storie ms about her daughter had me laughing so hard that I was crying). But overall makes you work for your grade but if you show her that you care, you will do fine. She loves when you go out of your way because nothing is handed to you in life

I am currently undeclared and I took Dr. Keehn's humor class as a GE. I liked it so much that now I'm in her Crit. Thinking class. She really is able to build special relationships with her students in a such a unique way. Her classes are NOT EASY but Dr. Keehn will make you a better and more inspired writer because she loves what she does.

She is definitely one of the best professors here! She typically never gives out 100 unless your work is practically flawless so you have to work for your grade! Her lectures are funny and interesting. Make sure you buy the required book for her class! IF you don't have it, then it will be extremely difficult to get an A.

She is a really hard grader and she makes you work for an A but there is nothing more rewarding than when she approves of your work. If you want an easy A i wouldn't take her if I were you. FMST300 isnt easy but it sure isnt difficult. Nearly half of the class got an A on the midterm, so I dont know how anyone could complain that the class is too hard. Plus Dr. Keehn is entertaining, shows great movies, and cares about her students. Great teacher. Great class.

This was a cool class, I found some of my favorite movies by taking this course. She is very knowledgeable and thinks highly of herself. Easy quizzes every class for attendance. Book and study guides are needed. Do not underestimate the tests or papers! Tests are hard and she is a lit professor so she is a tough grader on the essays. def recommend

I LOVE PROFESSOR KEEHN. Honestly, the best Literature and Writing professor in the department. She's a tough grader but only wants to see the best out of her students. She is by far the sweetest woman I have ever taken a class from but really pushes you to succeed. You definitely need to read the books in order to do well in this class.

My first film class was with Professor Keehn. She thinks very highly of herself but its fitting, she knows her stuff. The class is easy, credit every class normally just for being there. Two papers and two very hard tests and thats it, studying is a must. Great movie choices also!

She's hilarious! This Jane Austen class will surely make you read A LOT since we read all 6 (or 7?) of her novels; gave us two weeks to read each novel and there were quizzes after each one. She is a tough grader when it comes to papers and expects quality work. She gives great feedback and is available to help.

Im currently taking this class, and Im loving it. Dr Keehn is super funny but she also takes the time to mark all our work. Her comments on my writing and her help during office hours has helped me improve my writing so much. And now my grades in all my classes are better. Great class.

Had Dr. Keehn for LTWR 115 and LTWR 107. She's wonderful! Funny, caring, approachable, and tells lots of fun stories in class. Textbooks are cheap. Not lots of homework, but assignments require thought and effort for good grades. She believes "A"s are earned, not received, but participate in class and do all the assignments, and you'll do well!

This professor really made me enjoy reading. She is super funny and makes even poems interesting. If you pay attention in class and do the readings, you will be fine. I highly recommend getting her as your professor!

I was dreading taking this class when I signed up, but it ended up being my favorite class because of Keehn. Literally the best professor i've ever had. Dr. Keehn connects with her students and she believes that grades are earned. As long as you do your work and show up to class, you'll pass. She definitely has a heart and cares for her students and notices when too much is too much.

You will read every day. But the readings are usually very short (maximum 1 chapter). They're usually interesting articles that will spark peer discussion. It is a critical thinking class, after all. She is super funny and she really does care about you. As long as you read and participate in class discussions you'll get a B at least!

I used to hate reading books but every since taking her class it has became more fun!! I HIGHLY recommend her, she was so cared so much about her students stress during the COVID-19. Her lecture was always really fun and she made every story we read fun!!

Dr. Keehn dedicates herself to every class and every student willing to accept. I took her class twice and the first time, I failed miserably. She was a "tough grader", "there were too many assignments", etc. But, taking her class again I realize she just wants a good amount of effort from you. Read your assignments and prepare thoughtful responses

I personally hate literature and large amounts of reading. Yet Professor Keehn made this class doable and even fun for people like me. She is a little excessive on participation in which she monitors if you've opened up every single document in the course in order to give you credit. Otherwise this online class was worth it and I recommend her.

Took this class as a hybrid class. The teacher was super caring, really funny, and is willing to take time to give feedback on work. This semester, she didn't incorporate her final or midterm. Due to this, the quizzes were worth more. But the quizzes were not as hard, as long as you pay attention during the lecture. Would take this class again.

She is an amazing professor. She doesn't assign like 100+ pages to read every week, which is so refreshing. She actually puts thought into the pieces she assigns and makes it enjoyable. No final, just 2 easy quick essays. Highly recommend her class

Out of all of my courses this semester, I created notes that I will use as an educator, thanks to Dr. Keehn. Her stories incorporated into her lectures helped me grasp the content, and I enjoyed how PURPOSEFUL her essays and quizzes were. I included one of my essays from this class in my educator portfolio because I was so proud of the outcome.
