She is a really nice professor. Just follow her instructions and you will do fine. She can repeat her self often but is worth it. specially for people who work full time and have to take weekend classes. She brings food and lets you eat in class. Fun

She was excellent. The class was not easy, but she was more than willing to help you out. Everything is laid out, very straight forward. If you take notes and skim through the book you'll do fine. She curves big time. I pass the class with an A and didn't even have to take the final.

Ms. Kessler was very professional and was willing to help students with interviewing and resumes. She has extensive experience and help me improve my resume

Great teacher. She encourages you to think outside the box, try new things, and assigned a cultural presentation that sounded scary but turned out to be the best assignment I've ever had. Her real world experience brings a lot to the class. Don't be afraid to ask questions...she'll answer every one. She has a fun teaching style.

I truly enjoyed this course. Kessler challenges you to continuously think outside the box. Very straight forward and expects adults to act like adults. She does not hold your hand through the course but if asked will answer any questions presented and will stay behind to clarify. Good teacher in my book and can cook a mean Banana/Oreo cheese cake.

She expects you to work hard. Tells you what to study, gives you all info in the syllabus, day one. Interesting, informative class. Good teacher.

EASY CLASS! 2 tests, with questions straight from the book website, a couple of easy exercises from the book and a cultural presentation powerpoint and speech. As long as you show you put a lot of work in your presentation (i.e. pretty powerpoint, good photos etc.) you will get a good grade. She makes is clear what she wants with all assignments.

Professor Kessler is a great professor - I wish I can get more passionate teachers. She is particular about the process and responses. I took it as a Saturday morning class - and it went by quick

I was scared totake her class after reading these post, but I had no other choice. The class was super easy/fun about 4 papers due all easy two exams you must have book to pass exams bc lectures are nothing like exams. I suggest forming study group before exam and you will pass. easy a or b just do assignments

I do not recommend taking this class online. It took over 30 days for grades to post for assignments. There is a team presentation that is difficult to coordinate with online students. The first three weeks were spent on 'completion grade' assignments (this is not elementary school). Take a different professor if possible or practice patience!

I took this teacher for a summer class. Two exams, two papers, one memo, and one group presentation. She is easy as long as you follow directions. She is always willing to work with you and help you. also, she is a tutor in the writing lab and if you need help she is accessible outside of class and over the phone.

All assignments are writing assignments, except for the group presentation. She's a hard grader on writing and grammar specifically because she is the writing tutor for college of business. I've worked very hard on every assignment, never missing a class, but still border lined A/B. The final grade will have a curve depending on your effort.

I loved her class! She knows her subject very well and offers great advice especially if you are wanting to become a manager. She also makes you pay attention to current business issues that is helpful for the papers she will assign. The class is not too difficult and there is a presentation that she grades in detail. Take notes of her tips!

Class is based on writing assignments, 1 group presentation, and 2 tests with no comprehensive final, and one Connect assignment. Tough to make A's on writing assignments, but she is accessible in the Writing lab. Go to her for help before turning in assignments. I was scared to take her at first, but I got an A because my writing skills are elite.

Being the writing tutor and an author, I appreciate how tough she is. For those interested in learning and really applying themselves, I recommend Kessler. She is direct in her approach and gives great feedback on papers. She could be a little more clear on assignments, but I imagine, researching is part of the learning experience.

She definitely grades tough on papers, but if you follow her directions the T and show up to class you can do great. Had to ask for clarifications on the assignments as they were vague, but if you show up to class she will tell you exactly what she expects which was helpful. Let us go early most of the time so just show up to class and listen

The lectures in this class were very informative. She is a tough grader but it is worth it. She takes her time to review every paper that gets turned in. I appreciated her feedback and it made me a better writer. Be prepared to work for your grade, no extra credit will be provided.

I had a good time in the class. She has a history of working in human resources, so she is great when it comes to the subject.

I took her hybrid course and honestly her class is easy as long as you do all the work. Be prepared to write 4 essays. Midterm and Final are online; you can use note. Her grading criteria is very unclear. She is a TOUGH GRADER!!!!! She has VERY VERY high expectations for the writing assignments and for the group presentation.

This professor will teach you many things, for the better. Do the work, turn your papers in on time, listen to her instructions, and do your best and you will do just fine. She will be tough on your papers, she wants to see her students grow into our fields. Tough, but super fair.

Professor Kessler was an amazing professor. I like a challenge and this is definitely what I received from her. You will WORK for your grade in her class but will learn so much that will help in your career. Thank you, Professor Kessler!!!!!

1 easy assignment on connect (completed during free trial access), 2 easy papers, one business report, & team presentation. She grades all these 4 tough but fair, I got 85+ on all and Im not a good writer just make sure to proofread your papers. 1 test & final on lockdown w/o camera. She let us take the final hone which was a pro & open book. Easy

I took her 8-week class, and it honestly wasn't that bad. Now the instructions are unclear, and she doesn't give the answers fully when you ask questions. She extends due dates and that helped a lot. There are 3 easy papers, 1 hmwk assignment on connect,1 group project & 2 tests." Book required" didn't purchase book test questions are all online.

I don't know why she only have 2.5 stars. She does called people out, but she is so nice about the assignment. For example, I requested her to extended the deadline for the class, and she did it. She is nice. :D and there is not much assignment. a 2 page report, a business report that only about like 4 pages. And only 2 more assignment after that

There are about 5-6 assignments in total, midterm, and final. She is somewhat a tough grader but I did the bare minimum in my essays and got Bs on all of them. She is very picky about sticking to either MLA or APA format. Overall the class is an easy A as long as you try and turn your assignments in on time.

This professor is a tough grader but she does give a lot of feedback, will call you if you need help. There are mostly written assignments but they are very specific on what she's looking for. Will take her again!

We had 2 tests and a final with Lockdown browser and no camera. When she assigns papers she's looking for a business style of writing. For our class she didn't explain what that meant until after we turned in our first paper but after that it was easy. Group project is easy if you're teamed up with good people. I really liked her class.

I was skeptical about taking her because of all of the negative reviews however, this class was NOT bad at all! Two papers, two exams, one group project. She is very clear with what she wants. I like that she was very thorough with her feedback on my papers.

Took the 4-week winter mini. From the beginning of the semester, she is clear about her grading criteria. Your grade in this class is earned. First prof that took her time to give extensive and thorough feedback on papers. Listen to instructions, put in the work, and take the notes she gives on papers. Professor gave very thorough feedback on papers, read instructions carefully. She is a tough grader on papers, but if you follow her criteria she will give a good grade. Tests are on lockdown with no camera, final is not cumulative so you don't have to go to testing center. Class is challenging but assignments are clear early on in class.

I believe the negative reviews come from lazy students who want to do the bare minimum for an easy A. This professor gives thorough feedback on your writing to help you become a better writer. This is an easy class if you put the effort. Listen to her lectures and take notes and you will do just fine. 2 papers, 1 group project, and final. Take her!

She gives EXCELLENT professional advice. Some students complained that she was off-topic, but IT'S NOT off-topic to give prof development advice in a junior-level college course! She was VERY helpful if you took it seriously. Nobody likes grammar, but you better know it. She teaches business communication, those same students needed her class!

Ms. Kessler is very experienced, and I really respected her opinion on many matters. I am glad to have taken BA3350 with her. She gives great feedback on how to improve and is no nonsense.

Tests are open book and open notes. However, she only allows 1 minute per question, so studying is still necessary. There's no final exam. She provides a lot of useful feedback on papers, but grades strict

Professor Kessler has a lot of assignments, and at times, she can be a bit unclear on instructions. But, she is very helpful and attentive. She is also quick to respond to any questions you may have in class or outside. There were several times in the semester where I needed to reach out and she was quick to respond.
