Excellent teacher. Does her best to teach you everything she knows in a fun way. Don't have to go to class to pass tests because all of her notes are online, but it is extremely helpful to go to her class...you learn ALOT more. Take this if you get a chance.

She is an awesome instructor. She tries her best to make everything as clear as possible. She gives random extra credit which is always a good thing! Her tests are not too easy but they are not horrible either. I would recommend her!

I liked Robin a lot. She is very nice + makes the class fun. Absences arent counted. Tests arent easy but not too difficult either. A LOT of extra credit is offered, and there is a quiz every Friday, but its easy if you pay attention. I really liked her and would reccomend her for a teacher. A+

I had seen her around campus and felt a personality conflict between us. When she walked into the class on the first day, I almost walked out. I'm glad that I didn't. She turned out to be one of my most loved professors. She's fair and interesting, has a good clear voice, and can interact with people from all age groups.

Intro to Psyc. Awesome teacher and funny! She does take role so dont think you can just come on test days. Most people can just go to class, write a word or two on the power point slides, and study a couple of days before test and should have no problem with an A. Give easy extra credit, and online quizzes.

The teacher had a late policy yet she was late every day. The teacher had mandotory attendance yet she missed like five days and skipped every day there was a test and let a proctor give it.

I had Robin for Developmental Psych. Teachers do not come better than her! She makes class interesting and is just plain hilarious. She is very straight-forward.. makes you feel at home in her classroom. Assignments were not too hard, but you do need to keep up with reading.

I wouldn't mind the absenteeism if I didn't have to walk up 4 flights of stairs. There are a couple sections we won't be able to get to because of snow days/cancelled classes/instructor no-shows that I was really looking forward to. Awesome teacher when she is in class though.

GREAT teacher. She makes the subject interesting and easy to understand (and since math and I do NOT see eye-to-eye, that's saying a lot). You do have to work for your grade, but she's willing to help every step of the way. Plus, she's personable and fun. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

She is very funny, however, if you are offended by profanity, you may not want to take her. Otherwise, I loved her and her class! I would definately take her again if I got the opportunity.

Leonard is a good teacher but if you do not study for this class you will not do well. She does curse alot so if that offends you DON'T take the class. She makes everything fun and excited and is good teacher. I didn't enjoy the class but loved her as a teacher. She does require homework but test scores are helped by a take-home portion.

Famous for her choice of words and blatancy, Robin is a woman who knows her stuff and lays it out. Don't take her if you get offended easily. She cancels class more than the usual professor, but she also has a lot of her plate. Study for her tests and you should do fine. Tip: DO the Sona extra credit hours and come to class.

Robin Leonard has been my favorite teacher in college so far. She talks to students like a peer and she always makes herself available to help if you need it. She's so good at making class interesting, even if the subject is not. I would definitely take her again. The class can be an easy A as long as you show up and do your work.

This was a pretty easy class if you print off her power points and pay attention in class. Just make sure to check your email to see if class has been cancelled so you don't make a wasted trip to class.

i thought this was a very interesting class. If you are easily offended then i would NOT recommend her classes. If i get the chance then i will def take her classes again. The quizzes and exams are online and timed but they are not bad at all.

Extremely easy class, attendance is pointless as she cancels class/is late all the time but she gives points for being there. Very nice lady who truly cares about her students (but not about being a teacher). Don't buy the book, if you can take it in the summer to avoid having to go to class to watch her read off a powerpoint.

She gave us all the questions that were going to be on the final before hand. She cancels class a lot. And she one of the funniest people I've ever met.

Robin is an AMAZING professor! For ElemStats she took a difficult subject and taught with such enthusiasm and clarity that not only did I fully comprehend and excel, but I enjoyed the subject. She truly wants her students to understand the material, and is willing to help in any way to make that happen, all while being laid back and funny as hell.

She is so funny, she could moonlight as a stand up comic. I have had her for at least one class every semester since I began at ETSU. I struggle with math- I am so glad I had her for psych stats. She made it understandable and really worked with me one on one as needed. MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR EVER!

Robin kept your attention during lecture. She always has a good story that ties into the subject, and she doesn't stray from the Powerpoint. All of her quizzes and exams were online, which meant open note. They were timed, so as long as you new a majority of the information, you could look up what you did not know. I highly recommend her.

I would recommend her for intro to psych. The quizzes and exams are online and are not that difficult. Her class is very entertaining and she does a great job of explaining everything. I bought the book but don't really use it except when taking the quizzes and exams.

Robin is absolutely hilarious. I'm currently in her Behavioral Analysis class and it is always so interesting to hear her lectures. She's very personable and explains everything pretty thoroughly. The quizzes are a little tough and so are the exams, but I think that's because I don't take great notes. I get caught up in listening so I forget. ;D

Extremely interesting! She is an enigma to be taught by; at times, you may feel additional stress, but it's nowhere near as bad as other classes I have had.

If you are going to take D&A 1 or 2 take it with Robin. She is an awesome teacher and she really cares about your learning. However, this is a class that you actually have to work in, there is a lot of homework and quizzes, but they really help for the test.

You should definitely take her class for Intro to Psych! Totally easy A-- she lets you use your notes on the test, kid! Just show up, halfway listen in class, and print notes so you'll get an A. She's hilarious and cares about helping students. LOTS of extra credit offered. Sidenote: she is kind of crude- she curses and talks about sex a lot.

Robin is hilarious, I've taken a few classes with her and I definitely will take more! D&A 1 is a tough class, there are a lot of homework and quizzes but they all contribute to the test not just busy work.

I really enjoyed this class, and learned a lot. Your grade is made up by a quiz for each chapter, 2 homework assignments for each chapter, and tests which cover 2 chapters each. You have extra credit opportunity for participation, but start the beginning of the semester and do it throughout to earn as much as possible. Just do the work!

She has her online class set up to run itself. She had minimal interaction with us, but it was an easy class.

I've had Leonard for two classes now and I think she's awesome. She cusses like a sailor so if that's something that you don't like, then I wouldn't recommend her. She does get off topic easily but she's hilarious during lecture. I have heard her get political before, too. Tests are hard so studying is crucial. Extra credit helped me out a ton.

Robin does a very good job at explaining things and adding lots of detail to lecture material. However, this class isn't something I would recommend for an online class. I believe that I would've been much better off taking this on campus.

Robin Leonard is a fantastic teacher, she is funny, smart, and cares about her students. With that being said she does make you work for it and the class content is difficult. She gives a lot of homework but she also provides a lot of extra credit. I would recommend going to class just to help you. you don't really need your book but it is helpful.

Hack for her class: don't buy the book, go to class everyday, DO the Sona credits, and take your quizzes and test. If you do all this I can almost guarantee you will pass with an A. Nothing about this class is that difficult, but you do have to show up and do the work

This class was superb. It had a low pressure atmosphere with clear grading criteria. Dr. Leonard is super funny and has a ton of amazing stories that she tells that tie in well to her lectures so it's hard to be bored in her class. She genuinely cares about you and is very understanding if you run into any questions/problems with her class.

I took Leonard in the Fall of 2017 for intro to psych and I loved her!! She is overflowing with knowledge and she never had an uninteresting lecture. She cusses a TON but it only adds to her very interesting class..

Took the online-summer Design & Analysis I and really enjoyed the class. She was very clear about the course schedule and it made it easy to learn. Uses quizzes and tests to build your grade up early. I had personal issues that caused me to slack off towards the end but still did well. She responds very quickly to questions and is super helpful.

I took Robin for Design and Analysis 1 and 2. She was great. She's hilarious and very nice. She is very serious about psych though and grades pretty hard but if you ask for help she will do everything she can to help you pass.

Robin is the best. She's funny and quirky, but does have tendency to go off on a tangent. She favors colorful, profane vocabulary which may be sensitive for some, but she truly is wonderful. Her tests and quizzes are online, and she has three discussion boards. She cares a lot for her students and will be there for you if you reach out to her!

Robin knows how to keep a class engaged and entertained while also teaching us important material. Sometimes she does go off topic, but otherwise she's great. she genuinely cares about our success and helps with homework and assignments as much as possible. I had Ms. Leonard for Behavior Analysis and I absolutely love her! She makes lectures fun and always makes sure to get her point across to her students. She tells a lot of stories and sometimes she may repeat them, but they're always helpful in my opinion. I built my next semester schedule around a class she is teaching just to be with her again.

Love Professor Leonard! She is a hilarious teacher who tells you upfront that she talks a lot and she does what she has to do. Tests and Quizzes are a little tough, but if you study, you're good. Ms. Leonard is the best Professor that Ive had at ETSU. Shes very funny and her lectures keep you engaged. The only bad thing about her class is that she gives 5 exams not including a final, and 10 quizzes throughout the semester, so you need to take notes in her class. Overall she is a great pick.
