Very energetic and alot of fun. Made the dreaded speech class a breeze. Would totally recommend her for any speech class.

I took classes with her couple of semesters ago..and wow she was awesome. we worked hard but she made it fun. She didn't even act like a teacher..she was very down to earth

The class was fun. Not a "textbook" instructor. Some notes and a few tests, nothing too bad.

I LOVE YOU ROBYN!!! The class was the best. Its great if you are afraid of public speaking because you break the speach up amongst a whole group. I miss you guys

Robin is a kind-hearted teacher that is not difficult at all if you come to class on time and give your speaches without cursing. Her personal convictions are monumental and inspiring.

If you are going to take speech 8, her class is the best one. It is a political based them, but she makes it fun. there is a solo speech in the beginning, then the rest are all group speeches based on your political group. She is a funny, awesome teacher.

Robin is the coolest teacher that I have had! She is so understanding, she makes going to class something not to dread. She's good at what she does. Not only is she great in the classroom but she is always there for you if you need someone to talk to or advice about anything. I recommend taking her class/es!!!!

Robin is one of those teachers that you just feel connected to right away. she makes her classroom a comfortable atmoshpere and says pretty funny stories. we only did one oral presentation and it was very easy. it is not a difficult class and almost anyone can get an A

Awesom teacher very laid back and understanding. As long as you do all of the (very easy) assignmentS you will get a good grade! Uses more real life experiences rather than textbook junk

Very clear about how to get points. Keep your work when she passes it back because she lost some of my grades. Easy class as long as you attend. Very approachable.

If you aren't good at public speaking she'll probably go easy on you grade wise, but if she knows you can be a good speaker she'll be tough on you and give you good advice on where to improve at. You never need to use the book, just make sure to take good notes on the days she has them up in case you need to use them for the midterm or final.

If you're terrified of public speaking, I would def recommend her class. Always willing to work with you and super helpful. Doesn't use the textbook much though so don't bother. I'm not a fan of public speaking but she actually made it fun!

Easy class.I highly recommend students to get organized and be prepared for the speeches.

Great class. I missed a few classes so it affected my grade. But I loved her class, and all of her lectures. You learn a lot and I HIGHLY recommend this class to everybody. Also, I didn't ever use the book.

This was an extremely interactive and relatable class. McGehee makes this class easy to understand and uses real life stories to grasp the concept of communication. The test are fairly easy if you study your notes. We analyze movies and write papers regarding what we found. I highly recommend her class! :D

Hands down one of the best teachers at COS. Wish more instructors were like her. Her class is so fun and you seriously learn a lot from her. Enjoying her class and she's just an all around great teacher! Definitely recommend her! You will not regret it. She literally tells you what's going to be on the test so you have no excuse not to get an A.

She was great but after a while the media group ran the class and she tends to grade late. Still haven't got my final grades for the class

Robin was one of my favorite professors at COS. Her lectures are entertaining and the information she gives you is applicable to your every day life. If you attend all of the lectures you should get an A on your exams. There is quite a few assignments, but they are very interesting to do. Great class, great teacher.

Mrs. McGehee was awesome. When I first went into her class, was nervous about doing speeches, but she was supportive and easy to work with. Just make sure speeches meet her rubric and you'll do fine.

Expect to be there for note taking on how to write your speech. you don't have to be there on days you don't go up to say your speech. but expect to be there after all speeches are done to get the notes for the next speech. gives great feedback with your grade on the speeches. Easy A. Ask for help if needed, she gives plenty of it.

Great teacher. Best lectures, you can tell she really loves what she teaches. Her lectures are engaging, and entertaining. Very reasonable. Accessible for questions/or help. Overall great teacher, would take her again.

She is super nice and her class is super easy. I went most of the time but not all the time. Very little homework, just a couple papers really that are only a page long. Highly recommend her to everyone.

Robin is awesome! She's explains everything that you need to know until you understand it. She makes our lectures easier because she's always telling stories to show examples of what she's trying to teach us. She's caring and hilarious! Only 1 page papers here and there. Every assignment in the class is so interesting to work on. I recommend her.

Best teacher for public speaking! I had a fear of public speaking but she will make you feel comfortable with it!

Awesome instructor! As long as you attend and make an effort, she will help you out. Just be real with her if you're struggling. Assignments are not difficult, but thought-provoking. Find a buddy in class and go 1/2 in for the book. Don't need it much, but for the chapter presentations it's essential.

Love her personality! you enjoy lecture with her. She is very outgoing and does not grade hard! You don't have to show up every day for class but just make sure you get the material that is covered in class from someone else!! RECOMMEND FOR SURE!!!!!!

Shes and awesome human being! She really taught topics you can relate and apply in your life. Multiple short papers but they are very easy. There are 3 tests which arent bad either. If you take comm 4, take it with Robin. You wont regret it!

For most people I think this is an easy class to pass. For me as someone who is super self critical I had a hard time. Very stressful knowing you have to give speeches every week, but she makes it fun and definitely encourages all students. Very understanding that we were beginners.

Definitely a great teacher to take. Makes you feel welcome in the class and shows that she is passionate about her work. She helps you improve on your craft and it pays off. Very friendly and hilarious. I took the class because it was a requirement, but now i want to take it again! I implore students to take her COMM classes!!!

Very understanding! I most likely would have passed with a low grade if i didnt have Mrs. mcgehee. Makes everything super easy mostly one page or two page essays on self critiques on how we and as a group did in our presentation. We did have a midterm but let us use our notes, bought the book and didnt need it. If struggling just talk to her!

took her group communication class for the fall semester of my first year of college. It was really fun! loved her class as a whole and found her really endearing. the projects were also fun to do and i enjoyed that most of the grade was based on the projects instead of homework. would recommend taking this class if you're a jour or comm major.

Fantastic professor! I took her for COMM 4 and she was very welcoming! Very caring and hilarious! Work load is very manageable and she is very understanding with late work. I highly recommend!

I took this class during the summer semester. She was a nice teacher, the work was not overwhelming, theres plenty of time to research and practice for your speeches. I would take her again, she did give me a lower grade on like 2 assignments and let me resubmit it for full credit.

This professor is supportive, inspirational, caring, and simply understands the kinds of courses she is teaching. She knows most people dont really want to take the courses, and are just taking them because they are required. However, by the end of the course, because of her lectures and great feedback, she gave me reason to respect it.

She really helps you do great in her class and learn a lot. Makes it really interesting and easy to learn. There is reading to do that helps with your midterm and homework for your speeches but its not too bad

She was very understanding when it came down to speaking in front of class and getting the jitters. Always made sure we felt comfortable and her critiques were never rude. The environment in her classroom was very chill and the assignments were easy. She also gave us the students the opportunity to choose our topics for our presentations!

Professor McGehee is very understanding) gives great feedback on speeches! About 4-5 speeches during the semester. Definitely would recommend!!

Mrs. G's class was not bad at all. She is very helpful. Make sure you do the assignments she gives and practice your speeches. This class seemed so scary but once you get your speeches done (4-5) it's a relief at the end.

Robin is very chill, gives you plenty of time to work on your papers, you can hand them in way ahead of time & be done. No speeches in front of class, class is usually shorter than scheduled, lessons are also online in case you miss class. She's easy to reach & gives you feedback & answers questions. Really nice & fair teacher.

Gave great feedback to all of us and I enjoyed the class a lot (took it over summer and it wasn't too much). She's a great teacher whether you just want to get it out of the way or you're interested in this area.

McGehee is such a fun professor to have and she's genuinely passionate about what she talks about. She gives us a lot of room to speak about our passionate topics and the summer class was well focused. I would definitely have her again and she's fun to talk and listen to. Outstanding.

I took Robin's comm1 class during the summer, which was super easy. If you have trouble with public speaking, Robin's class is suitable for you. She's very helpful, although she does take a while to answer emails. Overall, I recommend her class!!

Very clear with all of her assignments and gave good feedback on grading. I felt like I learned a lot in this class. It's a lot to keep up with over summer, but it was much easier than over a regular semester.

McGehee is an amazing professor! I took her hybrid class for intro to comm and it was fairly easy. We had a couple of online speech's and one in person speech. She is goes out of her way to help students and works with you on missing assignments. The final speech is mandatory but she works with you for the date that you are able to give it!

I took her class in Fall 2021 and I loved her class, very chill professor the movies that she gives us are very good but overall a very good professor.

Honestly the best professor I've ever had! Robin is inspirational, funny, and really helps out in class to get you to understand the lessons. I took this class as part of general ed but I would take it either way, the assignments are clear and concise, and she is easy to reach outside of class if you need extra help!

Robin is an amazing instructor! Her assignments are posted every Monday morning. She clearly states what her assignments are, she grades generously and gives great feedback on each and every assignment.

I enjoyed taking Comm1 with Professor McGehee. She was very helpful throughout the semester, and responds to your emails very fast. Any extra help you needed, she was always available. Assignments were clear and simple.

I wish I would have taken her in person. She is so funny and down to earth. I really enjoyed her online course. It was very manageable. I didn't feel like I was drowning in homework yet still challenged and learning the material. A tiny bit of extra credit was offered, and assignments were graded very fair. She's wonderful.

I took the class thinking it would just be another one of the required classes- something to get out of the way, but I found myself looking forward to a public speaking primarily because of professor McGehee

I loved Robin's class! Comm is a scary class, and she made it very comfortable. 4 speeches online, and 1 speech in person. Gives great feedback and is very clear of her expectations. A few papers were assigned but they're easy. She's funny and very straight up. I was dreading this class but ended up loving it. I highly recommend taking this class.

Robin was awesome! She understands that people have a life outside of school and is very understanding. Just complete your assignments, try your best and you will pass the class. She made this class enjoyable and less nerve-racking! I would recommend taking her class, especially if you have a fear of public speaking!

Online class was great. Had to watch lectures and complete speeches. Only bad thing is how slow she grades work, and she does not post the submission assignments on time. Speeches are easy if you know good topics and speak well.

Nicest Professor hands down, She was very understanding and was so so so helpful. Robin Helped me become a better speaker and use my voice when it matters most. We prob had like 20 assignments in 6 weeks but they were so easy. like 3 recorded speechs and speech critques for celebs at graduations. But other than that, she was super sweet:)
