Not only is she very nice but she's very easy and funny. Three test and the day befor the test, she gives you all the answers. I would totally recommend her as an easy A to boost up your GPA

a very nice, helpful, fair and understanding teacher. back when she was teaching PEB1151, her mandatory ab excercise was hard on everyone from the experienced to beginners. but, the result is great. she knows how to lead a class.

Really nice! Takes attendance at the beginning of class (even if there's 150 students!) Gives test questions the class before test. Sometimes says something that sounds like the answer to the test question during the review, but then after the test you get the question wrong. Makes things a little confusing. She's sweet so the class is fun.

My roommates and I took Mrs. Proctor Spring '06 and we looked forward to every class! She's loving, thoughtful, and runs 10 miles every morning! Ppt lectures, no-brainer exams, a journal assignment due the last wk of class,go to class do 300 sit-ups before 11am. She'll change your lifestyle if you care to apply it to your daily routine. :)

She is awesome and is the definition of great professor. She goes over pp, which have the info. that will be on the test. Is understanding, and a overall great person. She is very sweet... but by the end of the semester I was tired of hearing the same stories over and over again. Her class is easy... attendance, test and a short 1 page paper. She will give you a review sheet that is like the test but the only bad thing is that the answers you find isn't always what she was looking for as the correct answer.

Professor makes the class very easy. Three tests(3rd is final)and health paper all which are very easy. Gives the review which are very similiar to the test. Attendance is mandatory because she really cares about her student. Overall, great professor!

Did next to nothing at all. She lectures but u don't really have to take notes. Just show up, abscences affect your final grade. 3 exams with 3 reviews that have the exact same questions as the exams. multiple choice. 1 2page research paper on your choice of subject which i spent 2 hours on and got an A. Awesome teacher! She's kind, understanding, respectful, and fair. Attendance is part of your grade; she gives notes and reviews, helps you if you haven't completed it, just go over it and you'll do good on the test; one paper-easy; and she makes the class simple and easy to understand.

Attendance taken, easy paper as others said. Reviews before test, ask her the answers to all them if you can get her to because some are more off of what she says the answers are. No book really needed follow the ppts and make notes when she says "this will be on the test..." very responsive to email. Otherwise an older Ed. works

Very easy class. Power points are posted, lectures are based on book info, reviews for tests, takes attendance but not always, tries to be funny. A bit random but overall a nice professor.

Sweet lady! We didn't use the text book at all because she didn't like it. She only takes attendance the first few weeks of class and then stops. The two labs are easy A's and the exams aren't difficult either. I'd recommend attendance because she sometimes shows movies which end up having questions about them on the exams.

She allows you to take tests 2 times, highest grade recorded. 2 Lab assignments: read 2 files and answer 3 q's on each(easy). The tests are straightforward, you need to have read the material, as you don't have much time to answer questions. She answers emails in a timely manner. Easy A

Prof Proctor is def a major sweetheart, however I really wish this was an online class because it's pointless.. You get 2 attempts for each test (5 tests)and I rarely used the book and got an A on each test. I have a study buddy, which helped a bit. She's making us do a hlt fair by ourselves, which is useless stress, but I guess helps the resume.

Prof Proctor is a wonderful professor. She is a really sweet woman and actually cares about her students. Class wise i felt this class was fairly easy. I purchased the book which is very helpful for the tests, but attendance is not really strict. i would recommend others to take her class, you're learning but its also a fun chill class.

I took this course online, let me tell you she is a great professor clear and to the point. There is 6 exams in total and 1 health event that you must complete. Exams came straight out of the textbook so I highly recommend you rent the book for the semester since you will be using it alot. If you read the book, you should not have any problems

LOVE Robin Proctor. She is my favorite teacher at UH BY FAR. She has a way of being personally involved with her students. She is pretty funny too with her "Y'all!" and trying to be up on "the lingo." Great teacher, course content is difficult but she will go over test questions that are tricky and sometimes give you the answer.

(Fall 15) Very outgoing teacher. She's always in a good mood and happy to be in class. She did attendance most of the time in the beginning of the semester since it's part of your grade. It's not a pass around one, she calls your name to learn it. As long as you do your work you should be fine.

If you ever want to be surprised by a professor in a University, she's definitely one. Super sweet and takes an effort to know her students, even with over 100 in a class, she makes sure you can learn something and become motivated to learn. Highly recommend, if you have the chance take this class!

Dr. Proctor is very cool lady. She might not be the best lecturer, but the best friend you might have during undergraduate. She is VERY open to any concern you might have during class. She also goes out of her way to remember everyone's name. Her classes are also relatively easy.

Very fast on emails. The class is broken into 40% of the course was participation, 60% 3 Exams plus an about me paper at the beginning of the course. Easy A! Take Her!

Proctor is the sweetest lady. I have a lot of respect for her. She has been teaching for so long though so her methods are a little out of date (she still takes 20 minutes to call role). Her tests weren't related to her lectures so that was difficult. I thought the class would be easier than it was.

I took her in class lecture and I truly did enjoy going to her class 3x a week. She's super caring and funny. Her lectures go by the book but are kind of all over the place so do own reading and notes. She likes to spring up random group projects not mentioned on the syllabus but she's not a tough grader.

Took her on campus spring'18 and she's honestly the best!!! The sweetest and most caring. 4 online open book exams, no final. she assigns small projects a few times but they're fun. One health event paper- nothing challenging. she's super helpful for everything and wants to see you succeed. if you're looking for an easy A class, take her!

Grade is composed of 4 exams, 1 paper about a health event, and discussions (no final). The discussions and exams are based heavily on the chapters. Access code for the book is not needed, so you can buy used or rent. Easy class, just read and you'll be fine. I took her online.

Proctor is an amazing professor and really cares that you will pass. There are group projects towards the middle of the semester, so find a solid group that you're comfortable with. The textbook can be found online but most of the information, in my opinion, comes from her lectures/powerpoints which are available on blackboard. Exams are online.

What can I say other than Proctor is amazing? I have taken her for so many semesters and have never met a professor as kind and caring as her. Assignments can be lengthy, but she's very to the point and responds to questions. I wish every professor was like her! Take her for any and all health courses!!!

I LOVED PROFESSOR PROCTOR!! She is the sweetest person ever and truly my favorite professor as of now. She truly cares about her students and her assignments are not difficult at all. It is a time-consuming class but doable at all coasts.

Shes simply the best i don't know what else to say. Her TA this semester was not all that but Proctor came through each time. beware of the due date its easy to mix up 11:59pm or am which a couple students did. 2 major essays, 2 test (fairly difficult) discussion questions every 2 weeks or so.

I've taken Professor Proctor for 2 semesters in a row and she's been great. She grades in a timely manner and responds to emails quickly. There are discussions and essays due about every other week, which take maybe an hour or 2, and only 2 tests. Very clear grading criteria and due dates, follow the syllabus and you will more than likely get an A

For the introduction to public health, there were 4 exam and 4 discussion paper. She grades the paper pretty easy and the textbook helps with the exam. She is very caring and understanding when you talk to her in a nice way. I would take a class again and she gives EC without asking sometimes.

Shes a really good professor! Easy class! Theres 5 discussion papers which are 300 words minimum. 2 papers which are easy topics. 2 exams that are really easy.

Proctor is a great professor. I had her for HLT 2320 and she is so caring, understanding, and kind. My advice: go to class because attendance is taken, participate, and pay attention during lectures. Discussion board posts are easy and tests are open book. 10/10.

Truly loved Professor Proctor. She was incredibly sweet, always had the best outfits on, and truly wanted you to succeed in class. Exams are open note but specific. She often gives the questions to the exams during lecture, so make sure you come to class. Attendance was extra credit. Discussion posts and essay were fairly easy.

The course consisted of 2 exams (50 MC and T/F questions and 1 matching question on Exam 2 worth 40% total) , 2 discussion questions (40% total) and 1 essay (20%). She provided a rubric for both the discussion questions and essay. Exams were taken from the textbook and were non-proctored open note exams. Went fast due to the Summer 5 weeks term.

The professor herself is really sweet, but the course was organized in a confusing way and the discussion posts and tests were pretty strenuous compared to other online courses that the HLT program offers. Sometimes, assignment instructions would conflict with syllabus instructions. She responds to emails really quickly though!

Honestly the only thing I can complain about is attendance is kind of mandatory. She takes attendance on random days and participation was 10% of our grade but its not really that bad. 4 exams, 3 discussion boards with 1 big "project" with some assignments mixed in-between. She's super understanding and is an easy grader.

Mrs. Proctor is one of the best teachers I had. She is the sweetest and very understanding. Her class mainly consisted of 5 quizzes taken at home with no proctorio, 3 groups projects with clear grading criteria, attendance, and a final paper. The quizzes are 50% of your grade, and the health paper was 24%. Take her, shes so easy going and so caring

A very caring lady with such grace and class and is also very easy to talk too. She claimed the class was going to be hard but it is an easy A. All her quizzes were online and we only has one final essay about an health event we attended with proof. She also provides volunteer opportunities with her present.

Attendance is recommended since she gives test answers and an easy extra 100 points. She is completely understandable, respectful, and caring. She is there to make a difference in both personal and academic lives.
