SHE IS SO AWESOME

It is Dr.Roys first year of teaching she is still adjusting to the whole thing but gets the material to u has like 5 homework assignments. Quiz's are online and two exams Midterm and final. She is the the sweetest will never hesitate if you need any help bless her hard but her class can get boring. If you go to class pay attention and study easy A

Her class can get REALLY boring and can get you to sleep. Classes are mostly lectures, quizzes are on blackboard, a midterm and final, and about 6 hw assignments. She's a real sweetheart though and is more than willing to help you in anything you might need. Try to keep up with the work and you'll pass.

She is the nicest teacher I have ever had! You can tell she really wants everyone to do well in her class. Her class is pretty easy and if you miss a few its no big deal. She is really understanding and it is pretty easy to get an A in this class! I would definitely recommend her!

Robin (she says you can call her that) is a great teacher. She was sick a lot this semester - not her fault. Material is clear. Tests are on B/B. There were about 5 H/W assignments. 1 Mid/1 Final - both essay style. She never gave back most of the homework, but she is always there and willing to help if you have ?s. Also, you can do 2 extra credit

Robin Roy was one of the best teacher's I have ever had. She is very sincere and caring about her students. She has a lot of class and respect. I recommend her more then any other techer.

Robin is an excellent instructor. She truly cares about her students and seeks to help the class understand the material. Her lectures are clear and concise and she encourages participation and discussion. All of the questions on the exams come from her lectures - be sure to take notes. I highly recommend enrolling in any of Robin's classes.

So sweet and helpful. Takes into consideration the fact that you have other classes and a life. Good speaker. Her lectures are very easy to listen to. Very laid back but organized.

She's exceptionally nice and so eager to help. The class bordered on dull at times, but it was very easy.

She is a nice teacher, but the class doesn't move forward. We are in the same topic for almost 3 weeks. I fell like I am in middle school instead of college.

She is amazing. I hardly went to class because I was sick all the time and I passed with an A. She has online quizzes that are really easy.

She is very understandable of situations, very easy, her homework is not loaded, very nice. I passed with an A and I always waited until the last minute to turn in work, if not late. I highly recommend Prof. Roy!

She was one of the easiest teachers i have taken. She makes things very simple and to the point so that there is no "busy work" and easy to follow. She is also very understanding because i missed a quiz and i asked couple days after if i could retake it, and she let me. She's very sweet. A little too lenient with the people who don't really care about the class. She'll have spent 2 days going over something and then someone who wasn't there comes back and she catches that one person up using our time. It could be a really great class if she enforced the fact that it's a college course.

Very nice person, but not the best teacher if you actually want to learn something. Most of her classes don't include lecture, just class discussion. Don't bother getting the book. She never posts grades or assignments on time. Again, she's very nice, and it's an easy class. Just not the best teacher.

Ive had her for a few classes, she's super sweet! It's a really easy class and you'll definitely pass it, not exactly the best class if you're actually trying to get a thorough understanding of psychology, but if you're looking for an easy interesting class go for her.

I've had her for two Psyc 1 & 13. She is an awesome. Very laid back and works with you if needed. Her classes are easy and interesting. I recommend her to any student.

I agree with most others in that she is a nice person and very helpful but her lectures are DULL. She repeats herself constantly and even the most interesting subject material comes off as boring. Very easy, quizzes easy, there's no classwork and attending class really doesn't matter all that much since she posts lectures online.

It is a super easy class and there almost isn't enough homework assigned. Cancels class a lot and takes forever to grade. ZERO text book use. Heavily lecture based class. We spent the first 4-5 weeks covering the syllabus + blackboard and as a result didn't have time to cover all the material. She is nice but the class is a disappointment.

Roy was very informative, but explained things in too much detail. She did not show up to class very much, and this class was a breeze. Take this class if you need an easy A.

This is a very nice and caring teacher. Unfortuately she has a cronic illness that makes her so sick that she has to miss class frequently. This was a simple course with interesting material and I harly had to try for an A. She does like to be verrrrry clear when she explains things which can get annoying but thats not so bad!!

Took her online class and unfortunately, she was chronically ill and unable to teach. The class had a lot of potential, but I believe it should have been taken over by another teacher (we didn't have any assignments for weeks at a time). The material was simple & I wouldn't recommend purchasing the text.

SUPER EASY! only 2 exams and little open book quizes and very few assignments. she's so nice it'll make you feel bad. very very sweet and understanding teacher. the way she explains the content is crystal clear.

Mrs.Roy is very kind and understanding. She suffers from some kind of illness so she is absent some times but always emails to let you know. Easy A!! Book is not necessary at all. Online quizzes very easy. midterm and final easy. Two papers easy! Take her class

I fell asleep a lot in this class, but it is an easy A. No homework. I didn't even bother to buy the book. She is actually a very sweet teacher though and you can tell she cares about her students. I'd take her again

The class was super easy. Class was constantly canceled. So easy the I never paid attention. We had a special needs student that the prof seemed to tailor the whole class around. I learned nothing and found the class to be a waste of time and money. I would not recommend her if you actually want to gain an knowledge at all. I never opened the book.

I found this class to be very interesting, especially after the first two weeks. Ms. Roy is incredibly knowledgeable and qualified. Her communication is clear and her grading fair. If you are test-a-phobic like me, there are lots of assignments and extra credit opportunities to pull your grade up. I would definitely take another class from Ms. Roy.

Super easy class. Also really interesting. Tests were only what was covered in class- don't need the book except for maybe 1 or 2 quizzes. Quizzes are online and super easy if you were in class. Term paper, mid term, and final were super super easy. Teacher misses a lot of class, but changes the schedule accordingly. Super accommodating.

Great teacher! She is willing to help you out in any way possible. Lectures can sometimes get boring but overall a great class.

I felt that her online class was pretty straight forward, none of the directions were confusing and she offers help. I learned a lot actually.

She is a sweetheart and very understanding through email. She did not always have a quick response time, but it doesn't take a genius to come up with a good estimate of what their grade will be. No real test, just do your work! Take it to improve your GPA!

She is super sweet and nice. If you try at all in this class, you'll get an A. Personally, I think she is way too easy on her students and I almost felt like she was teaching to 12 year olds. She missed many classes, but if you check your email beforehand you can save the annoyance of showing up to class only to find that she is sick.

Very nice teacher! she had to miss a lot of classes due to illness but always kept her students up-to-date and was very understanding. her lectures are easy to listen to and she uploads her power points online to help study for the test. Def would recommend taking her.

Robin Roy is extremely helpful in teaching you how to understand psychological studies. She is informative, encourages open discussions, and paves the way for you to understand college systems. I loved her helpfulness and her organized methods.

Awesome teacher. You can tell she's passionate and knowledgeable about psychology. She's really good at explaining things and giving examples that'll help you retain the information. The quizzes/exams are totally based on her lectures so as long as you pay attention and take notes, you'll pass with an A.

She is really nice. Class is easy and she teaches it well. the book was really expensive and i only bought it because the book has the code needed to go online and take the weekly quizzes; aside from that I haven't even opened the book. if you have questions I suggest you talk to her after class because she takes a while to answer e-mails.

Robin Roy is a great teacher and really knows what she is talking about. She has an illness and will often cancel class. So, if you are taking the class just for credits, I would highly suggest Robin Roy. But, if you are interested in Psychology as a major and want to actually learn something, DO NOT take! All around a great teacher though

Robin is a great teacher! She's friendly, approachable, and very caring. But with her chronic condition, she misses a lot of classes which kind of bothers me. But it's whatever now. There are two papers which are pretty simple, and she's able to help you out with it at any time!

Easy A. Just keep track of when things are due and you should be fine. The quizzes are easy and easy to get A's. She was a tad behind so she gave us a lot of extra time. Easy grader!

Learned a lot in Psych1 with professor Roy. She is knowledgeable, caring and very nice. Her tests aren't too bad if you study. Lots of extra credit opportunities. The only bad thing if the time it takes her to grade tests or papers but she has a medical condition that can cause a lot of pain, which probably causes her to get behind in grading.

She's a great professor, very good at Pyschology. Gives online quizzes, study them, as they are very similar to the midterm and final. Be ready to write papers, but they're not super hard. Very helpful and has lots of office hours. Understands when life goes crazy, very flexible.

Professor Roy is a nice and caring teacher. It is refreshing in college to have a teacher that wants to pass students. She has an illness that makes her miss class relatively often (I dont know why people use that against her on here its a chronic condition) I dont mind at all though! I would just say taking her for first/last class of the day.

She lectures every class but posts all of the powerpoints online. She does talk a lot but knows the info really well. quizzes and tests were really easy and quizzes were submitted online and open note. lots of extra credit offered

Dr. Roy was a great teacher and she really cared about her students. There are only two writing assignments and I did mine the night before they were due and got an A+ on both of them. She is a slow grader and has a health condition that will often make her cancel class. Its an easy class as long as you pay attention at least half of the time

Great teacher who really cares about her students. Need to be there in lecture as will need to know the information for the tests. Gives study guides for the midterm and final use it!! The online quizzes are helpful and study those for the big exams as they help so much. Two papers which aren't that hard and you know in advance when they are due.

Professor Roy was great. The lectures were clear and followed the textbook. The midterm and final had multiple choice and short answer questions which were really easy if you studied the lecture slides that she posted online. She missed class often due to a chronic illness. Overall an interesting easy A class for GE credit.

Dr Roy is super kind. She is possibly the most thorough teacher I have ever had. Yes, class can get cancelled often, but she covers everything in the end and really makes sure you get it. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT. You really have try to fail her class. She accepts late work,is helpful and lets you redo stuff. Use the opportunity.

Took this class online for summer. Didn't interact with professor very much but I didn't need to! You really need to try to fail this class, she allows 50 points of extra credit and all assignments are clear and easy!

Dr. Roy is extremely kind and always willing to help, I went through a personal family mater and she was very helpful in extending dates and not marking things late, you just need to email her or contact her she is a wonderful teacher, she breaks down each section and the quizzes arent very hard or long at all. I Highly recommend her class!

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Lots of extra credit on top of the material just being easy to begin with. One bummer was that she wasn't feeling well, so nothing was graded until the end of the semester, making it difficult to know what grade you had. Slow response on emails too. If you don't get an A in this class, you didn't try.

Thoroughly enjoyed her! Very nice lady, wants you to succeed and is willing to help you however she can. Cancelled class often, but she always posted power points online so I didnt feel bad when I needed to skip class. 99% lectures in class, might not even need to take notes. Take some notes in class/review power points and youre golden.

Professor Roy is such a sweet woman. She loves what she does and she cares about her students so much. If you go to her saying you have been having a hard time and need help to catch up, she will do anything she can to help you. Her lectures can be long and a little boring, but as long as you take notes and listen you'll pass no problem.

Dr. Roy is an amazing professor! I switched my major to Psychology and she made the transition very easy. I took her for Psych 25 and Psych 3 and it's honestly hard to fail her classes. Although she doesn't really reply to e-mails, she is very caring and helps her students in any way she can! I would DEFINITELY take her again :)

I took psych 3 online and ended up having Dr. Roy as my instructor. She's very sweet and is usually available through email if you have any questions. The online course consisted of a lot of quizzes but they were based on the textbook so they were really easy.

TAKE THIS CLASS! Dr. Roy is such a reasonable teacher. I took her class online over the summer and she accepts late work and there's a 50 point extra credit. You need 900 points to get an A. The quiz questions came straight from the chapters powerpoint. She graded the discussion assignments at the very end of the course because her dog was sick

I took this course for summer 2020 and it was very easy to work with. She was super understanding and caring for her students. PS!! There's a pdf of the textbook online so do not pay for it!!

Took her summer class, everything was super easy and I actually learned a lot. Assignments are mainly quizzes and they're based on the slides she gives. If you're not very independent then don't take her, she isn't great at replying to emails at all. Other than that, if you like working alone and at your own pace, I'd recommend her class

Dr. Roy is very supportive. If you ever don't understand something she is more than willing to help you out. She's really cool and her class is SUPER easy. 10 question quizzes each week on her lectures but you can either watch the lecture or read the powerpoint slides which are super clear, & that's literally the whole sem. + one casual paper

Dr. Robin Roy was a really nice teacher. :) Her assignments were really simple and she gave us 2 attempts on our quizzes which was definitely nice, she was also a quick responded and always available to help!

Prof. Roy was nothing but caring. Took her Intro to Social Psychology course last Summer. Course was accelerated which made things difficult as it was one of my first classes as a college student. Quizzes were great but overall fell behind in second half of course. Great professor and would take again if given the chance.

By far the best psychology professor, she makes me want to take research methods again. She really cars about her students and flexible with due dates. If you need research methods most def take her class.

Great prof! Weekly chapter readings, quizzes, videos, & easy discussions/written assignments. Midterm & final are 2-3 pg reflection papers, plus an assignment where you find & summarize a journal article. Easy grader. Not accessible by email and doesn't grade til end of semester, so go to office hours to contact her, she's really nice and caring!!

Great class! Stay on top of assignments, participate, and you'll get an A. Awesome, caring professor. No need for the PSY 3 Book unless it's your major. Just use her slides. Assignments are graded at the end, so manage them slowly to avoid stress!

I would definitely recommend taking her! While the lectures could be a bit boring at times (which I don't blame her for, there's not a lot to say on the topic), the labs & the group research project were super fun. The final paper of the class was also easy because she walked us through every step, & her quizzes had 2 attempts & were really simple.

Dr Roy was very kind throughout the whole semester. You can tell she cares about her students. I did an in-person class but only went a couple of times. Attendance is not mandatory, she posts everything online. The only thing is, the whole class period is her lecturing off a slideshow, which is not entirely ideal.

The only problem I really had was her grading. She graded EVERYTHING (From the beginning of the semester) a few days before grades are due.

dr roy is a super chill and nice teacher. attendence isnt rlly required. no one rlly shows up after the first two months cus all of the lecture notes r posted online. quizzes are open note and u can retake them to get more points. long research paper due at the end of the year but it honestly was kind of fun. i highly reccomend taking her classes.

She's very nice and approachable, gives good feedback, and grades really easy. Attendance is not required, and most of the work can be done without the lectures. She takes a very long time to grade.

Prof. Roy runs a great class. Assignments are straightforward - weekly quizzes, discussions, and a couple of papers. She's a fair grader and reasonably accessible, though responses can be slow. Definitely use unstuckstudy alongside the class materials for efficient study prep.

Professor Roy is one of the nicest professors ever. Super supportive and always willing to help. She accepts late work (up to 2 weeks), and the class is very manageable. Quizzes are based on lectures and can be taken twice. No exams, just reflection papers and research project. Only downside is she grades at the very end. Still, highly recommend!

Prof Roy is so sweet. Majority of the class is doing a research project which was a great experience. You can get by without using the textbook, just follow along the slides with her lecture. It's easy to get bored or distracted in class bc of the subject. Psy25 is not one of the interesting psyc classes. But Prof Roy is amazing !

The class overall was simple considering to revolves around one huge research project with a group. She doesn't grade things and takes many sick days which is nice most of the time. Not many assignments and gives feedback and lots of help.

Very easy class. We had quizzes every week and small assignments that she accepted late worth full credit. Offered extra credit as well. We had a big research project, which may seem scary, but we worked on it during class and she helped everyone out along the way and made sure to engage with every group.

Honestly she's super nice and the workload is manageable. The only thing that is super frustrating is that we have about two weeks left of the semester and she's only graded a total of two or three assignments. She sends announcements talking about grading and how she will get on it but has yet to do so.
