He is a young new teacher. He has a great sense of humour which really lightens the boring class. He is very helpful when you don't understand things.

I took my chances with Robin. Since he's a new teacher, you never know what to expect. But he's awesome. He will not just teach you about academic stuff, but real world based issues that you will encounter in the accounting field.His tests are fair, quizzes easy if u study, sometimes a tough marker. But overall, he's great! :)

before this class, i was really bad at accounting, but he makes it easier to understand, and i found myself wanting to do really well in this class. he's a tough yet fair marker but he gives you a lot of material to study for the final. he's funny too and gives life advice ahaha. 3 hours is a long time for class, but he made it bearable.

He is new, but he is smart! he is a very nice guy! but seems that the department gave him too many courses to teach. He could be better after years of teaching experience...I truly believe! cuz he really wants to help his students! Students like him!

He is a good professor. His ppts are patterned to the book, so it's really helpful. Study the 'clicker' questions and practice the exercises he's pointing at and you'll do good on the exams--almost always perfect. He's accommodating, and his class is interesting.

The class itself have volume and quite entertained. Robin is relatively a easy marker and the course itself should not be that difficult as long as you review over his quiz and the end of chapter questions he recommends doing. The quiz are in group but are harder than you think. Other than that, the exam are 35% each with so be prepared to study.

This is my second semester in Douglas and Robin is the best teacher i have had so far. not only always willing to help but also provides a lot of resources to practice before tests and finals. very organized. his lectures are very good you will not find it hard to pay attention. Just take his class, seriously.

One of the best prof at Douglas hands down! His notes from class are really similar to exam questions! Do all the textbook Qs and you'll be set! He makes an effort to really make a difference and encourages students to ask for help. Going to class after working 8 hours, you're most likely drained, but Robin makes every class super fun!

Amazing class! I would reccomend this teacher hands down to anyone! Super nice, good as clearifing anything you wont get, gives quizes-that are so do-able if you follow his instructions.

Robin makes the effort to inspire his students to see the big picture and reach for what they actually want to do. He takes the time to do a reality check with the class and talk about career and post school work/life balance. I think this is invaluable. Robin is always there for his office hours and always prepared to help answer your questions.

Excellent prof. Get ready to do lots of homework. You ask him anything and he has an answer for it. Even though the material is not so easy, he still tries to make the class entertaining. You give him a feedback on anything in class, he will definitely work on it. He cares about his teaching and that is why he wants his students to do well.

#1 prof in the accounting department. He cares about the students and tries to interact with them. He really listens to his students feedback and tries to improve his teaching. Takes his time in teaching and explains the notes in details rather than just reading it. First time he did online assignments and they were useful. Not a hard marker.

Even though Robin doesn't make class mandatory, I looked forward to coming to his class. He will clearly teach the content with a little bit of personality, instead of just reading the powerpoints and will answer any question you ask with a thoughtful and accurate response. Would recommend this professor to anyone taking accounting.

Robin is the best instructor you can ever take. Even if you don't do well in his class, you will walk away with some of the best education you have ever received in your life. He's incredibly tough, be ready to work. He's passionate and keeps you so engaged - you actually WANT to listen to him. I wish he taught every ACCT course.

Does problems in class, explanations are clear. Lots of online homework/quizzes (6-10 hours/week, just on homework/quizzes). Midterm + Final SLIGHTLY harder than example questions but gives part marks. Must know Sage very well for project, take ACCT1222 first. Not easy, but good choice for future CPAs. Less helpful for non-CPA students like me.

He is a great teacher, very caring and passionate. 4 online quizzes that take around 5-6 hours each to complete. There is a time frame of 48 hours that the test is available and can be completed. (day after class for my class). Uses pearson for regular weekly homework. Must do lots of practicing!

Robin is such an amazing professor. He makes his classes light and funny. He tries the most makes us learn the material and is very concern about this. His midterm is very similar to the weekly assignment. He makes his lectures in a way that is very understandable and in every class he reviews things in order to introduce us to the new material.

Still my favourite prof. I took intro managerial accounting with him and just finished our last lecture in intermediate accounting. I wish he taught more 3rd and 4th year classes.

Robin is probably one of the best Accounting profs. He is absolutely hilarious, but he is so real with you. He gives HW and Quiz after every chapter. Super easy to approach and he helps with anything you need help on. The guy really knows his stuff and will set you up for success. I'm not a business student and I had to take ACC as an elective, but I really enjoyed learning accounting from Robin. Wish I could take another course with him. He's a great teacher, he's hilarious and he's got a lot of industry experience. Accounting is very hard to make practical, but robin does a splendid job at doing so.

One of the best professors I have learned. He is funny, enthusiastic, always tries to encourage students. Just need to be sure that you covered all of his assignments and questions in the book, you will get above B. I wish I could participate in his other classes.

Robin Sir is excellent in teaching he will make us understand entire accounting chapter by encouraging us to study harder for the exams, his exams are tricky but if you ace it we can assure that we can face any exams regarding accountancy very easily.

The course is hard but Robin makes a great deal of effort to ensure that students are following him. He is very patient and is happy to answer repeated questions.

Amazing lectures! I never post reviews. I posted because of how much he helped me and my friends. He tells you exactly what is on his exams. The student complaining about tough exams are not attending class and expecting to get easy marks. He teaches well and tells you what is on the exam. Thank you Robin for an amazing semester.

Robin is an amazing and knowledgeable professor. He makes the class interesting with his interactions with students and his humor. His accounting knowledge and experience is fabulous. He was available to help and guide every student individually. Exams are very tough but fun at the same time. Highly recommended.

He's not your typical prof. He's all about making you feel comfy in class, even if that means throwing a few swear words around. his exams are crazily tough. Said to Use beginning mode for lease calculations But then he flipped the script and switched to ending mode. but he's got your back. I was convinced I fail the class but I somehow i passed.

Robin is an amazing and caring teacher, his exams are pretty straightforward. I only struggled with his exams because my memory is not the greatest but everything he teaches in class is very straightforward.

He specifies exactly what kind of questions will be on the exams. Beware, he only gives you 2 hours and you will feel extremely rushed when writing exams. Other than that, he is a great professor and explains complex topics in a simple way that everyone can understand. I would recommend him!!

This class is not homework heavy, it literally only has one hw per chap and is not due until the next week. Overall, he's a great professor and makes the class fun and light, but sometimes I wish he would slow down a bit while teaching. Anyways, he is still great. Take him! He also gives out exactly what will appear on exams and what to study.

Robin is really funny, engaging, relatable, and nice! The class is average; not too hard if you pay attention, understand the lessons, and do the homework. He is a good and fair marker. His tests aren't that difficult, just make sure you get the main concepts of the class. Assignments are done on my lab. 2 midterms, 1 final, plus assignments.

One of my biggest regret I have is not doing better in robin's class. His class was fairly easy, but it sucks that I was going through a tough time when I took his class. I could write a whole essay about him, that's how great of a professor he is. Just appreciate your time whenever youre taking his class, you'll never find someone better than him

I really feal comfertable in his class no hesitation to ask question. The practise questions in class also help alot. I would definitely take it. If you plan to take it highly recommend.
