More of a class on taking speed notes. If you can take notes at hyper-speed while looking at a monitor, and not at what you are writing, then this class is for you.

Worst teacher I ever had. Never was there to help you with the projects and never had time to work on them in class. She expected you to be an expert in the programs, considering the fact I never used the programs before. Very hard grader, and was rude most of the time you asked her for help.

TERRIBLE TEACHER! Dont ask too many questions or she flips out. Also, she says Got it a lot and its annoying. Takes points off for any mistakes. Talks to students as if they had a brain malfunction. Try not to take her because she has wild mood swings all the time. She often embarasses students by talking down to them. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Robin Weitz is an intelligent woman however she always needs to be right. Her way cannot be debated, she has a bad habit of trying to make you look like a fool. She also has a poor habit of getting snippy with students. A professor's responsibility is to help students, not argue or be defensive with them. On a positive note: She is a tough grader.

This teacher was the worst teacher i have ever had. She is so rude! She never helps, makes you feel like a complete idiot if you ask any ?'s. She is so unfair. took her for photoshop class a while ago, terrible teacher. dont have 1 good thing to say about her. shes mean, not very clear, and annoying. a part of her class u have to download a 30 day free trial, but the trial ends before the class does, so if u dont finish everything, your pretty much screwed.

I had her for Discrete Math. Incredibly condescending, teaches slow, annoying voice, makes you feel stupid for asking any ?'s, and on top of all that, she wasn't even proficient in the material. When I tried to correct her after she made mistake on the board, she said I "just didn't get it" and suggested I get tutoring. Avoid at all costs!

She is terrible!! Majority of the people dropped, including myself! I heard she only had 4 students left by the end of the semester. I took Algebra 1 with another teacher and did fantastic! She is not caring at all and degrades her students! I would not recommend her if you aren't that good in math.

She goes to class simply telling you how to do a math problem asking over and over and OVER again IF "you got it" and guess what no one ever does! By far the WORST teacher I have ever had! A class of about twenty something students at the beginning, only four remained at the end I was told. I dropped and took the class with a more understanding and wonderful professor. This person should not be a teacher and I will ALWAYS remember her as the world's most sucky teacher to have ever teached!

This is a class that I love the material in; it's the field I'm going into but unfortunately she presents it in a such an UNORGANIZED, messy manner that I have resorted to self study at home. She was the absolute worst professor I have ever had. She is rude, condascending, and unhelpful. Her assignments consist of strictly following specific instructions word for word for about 10 pages of notes, and try to duplicate it for homework after she speeds through it. She is completely unreasonable.

i'd advise anyone not to take her class. i may have gotten a B, but in reality i should have received an A. She is nit-picky when it comes to grading and acts as though her students are beneath her as humans.

Absolutely terrible. We had first test on final drop date, thought I did decent, but she marked things wrong for spelling, and stuff that shouldn't matter. EX. MY answer "hyperspace" HER answer "hyperspace button". Can't wait to take her again for OpenGL!

Hardly explains what she writes on the board. Moves way to fast doesn't really give you anything to study for test. Don't take her if you have problems with math. You'll fail.

Does not follow OCC rules. Absent rate has to exceed 10% before grading can be a penalty. But she thinks she can withrdaw you for 3 absents out of 30 classes, not counting the 2 days off for holidays. She lates within 3 minutes as lates even though she gives 3 minutes leeaway. The Dean doesn't care about any of this either. Take at your own risk.

She acts like she is above the students, the school rules, and even her own rules. I pity the fool who willingly takes her class.

If you take this class be prepared to either fail or get a C after doing tons of work. She is a horrible teacher. 10 page paper on stupid topics, 2 extremely tedious projects that won't even get graded fairly. Tests are incredibly badly graded and long. This class sucks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

By far the WORST Professor I've ever had. She picks favorites and grades unfairly. Zeroes will be given on completed assignments, even if they are turned in on time. Weitz will often tell the class to choose their own style of formatting. Don't do this. She doesn't hold true to it and will deduct. Follow her presentations EXACTLY. Awful professor.

One of the most terrible teachers and humans to walk on earth. She grades unfairly, gives 50% for 7/10, hates to be asked questions, and puts students down. I can quote her, " you don't know what you're doing". DROP her class while you can & save yourself or get an unfair grade or dropped for lates(she counts it as absence).

I'm taking another professor, Tarek, right now and it's a world of difference. Tarek is patient, understanding, and works with us. While Weitz works against the class. DO NOT take her class. Unless you want to fail under BS circumstances.

Hey man(comment below), I've been where you have been. If you want any chance of a fair grade you're better off checking you were graded fairly. If you weren't you should take it to the CSIT department to change it.

hands down the worst professor ive ever had. Doesnt know what shes talking about often solves problem on the board wrong. Tough grader, take home tests are impossible. Has no problem giving out 0's on test even if you tried

Horrible teacher. Took her for multivariable calc in a five week session. She cancelled class twice, and was late, despite her mandatory attendance. She didn't cover half of the material in the syllabus. She is disrespectful, and often makes computational errors, when she works problems on the board(which constitutes the entirety of the class).

I found it difficult to understand what she taught, and even harder to apply. I took her for the summer and had a very hard time. Ended up spending hours teaching myself on weekends and that paid off. My advice is, don't take her unless you absolutely have to. Teaches off the textbook, all her examples are from there. Makes mistakes very often.

She is not professional, not understanding and irrational. For the final presentations, she locked the door when the class began to prevent late students from presenting. I never witnessed or experienced such "punishment" in my academic career.

Horrible teaching method, grades tests on very specific notes and grades on ridiculous standards. She also has a strange rule on her syllabus where she confiscates a phone of anyone who uses it in class. I'm pretty sure she not only can't by campus policy but she's more likely to be able to give detention(of which I'm certain she tried).

Jeez avoid this teacher at all costs! Terrible, irrational, and unfair. Take spouts off for using her notes but creates tricky tests based off her notes that she speeds through. I honestly don't understand how Weitz is still a teacher. She's rude, condescending, doesn't grade fairly and teaches in terrible ways. I not only had her for Game Development, which has nothing to do with the title, but I also had her for Programming. Instead of using a computer to code she started writing on the board! The worst rated prof at OCC I think and for good reason. This course has NOTHING to do with computer games, idk why they even have it. Weitz was rude, especially when I asked to withdraw. I wish I could warn every student who signs up to take her for anything to avoid. I hope she finds a new career someday.

Puts in grades 2 weeks after you hand any paper or "game" in. Doesn't help you what so ever with work. I once asked a simple question. "When will the grades be online for the group project?" I got the most nasty attitude in response. Oh by the way, she is the only teacher that teaches Intro to game development. Also her tests are the worst. AVOID!!

As others have stated on here. Horrible. Avoid at all costs. Highly dangerous. Run away as fast as you can. Do not waste your money taking one of her classes. Looks for any reason for you not to pass her course when it should be the opposite. "Everybody with me?" "Get it?" "Everybody understand?"

Didnt want to take her again but her class fit best in my schedule. Same thing happened in this class as my last one, an Algebra class, where i'm getting an A then I start receiving failing grades & I can't see why. Ask her and shes always right and won't change the grade. Takes points off if she doesn't like the color of the text. Horrible & rude

She is very rude and makes you feel dumb. She grades very harsh. Every single little mistake you make is like 20 points off (just exaggerating). You will fail if you miss just 1 assignment and do poorly on the rest of the assignments. If you take this class and your not quick at note taking or computers, you would have to go to her office hours.

I have come back years later to write this review because I will never forget how poorly I was treated by professor weitz. I hope professor weitz gets the life she deserves through how she treats others. Do not take her courses.
